Question: Is $15,000 too much for my wedding venue? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 09:11 PM PDT At first glance it seems expensive but at that price, it includes ceremony and reception, use of the grounds, two nights stay on site for bride and groom, as well as two nights stay on site for up to 10 more people such as parents and bridal party, etc., use of the hall for the rehearsal dinner on Friday, and use of the hall for Sunday brunch. He also provides tables and chairs, as well as wine barrels and haystacks for a rustic decor. Bonfire at night, and use of the grounds on the night of the wedding for a few people wishing to camp out. Catering, photos, DJ, tent rental, decor, everything else is extra. I have been looking around but I m not sure if this is a great package deal or a rip off. I feel like it would be convenient to have accommodations taken care of, and not having to worry about finding another place for a rehearsal. Thanks for your input! |
Posted: 05 Nov 2016 08:45 PM PDT I can't find the information I am looking for and do not want to call yet in case i change my mind about the venue. The Canton Club in Downtown Canton host weddings and receptions and I would like reviews if anyone has had their wedding there or knows someone who did. Also interested in prices if you know them. |

Question: What should I do to make up for not having a wedding? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 05:40 PM PDT My husband talked me out of having a wedding. It wasn't a big deal because I've never been much of a party planner. But now I regret it. I want to do something to commemorate our marriage, but we're not into "traditional" weddings (white dress, aisle, bridesmaids/groomsmen, etc.). It's really more about doing something formal and bringing our families together because both sides have never met. I'm kind of lost on what to do and how to do it. We're thinking maybe a reception/dinner party or vow renewal. Any ideas? Whatever we do we will have to PLAN because our families live so far apart. The idea of a bbq is fun, but people aren't going to want to travel and book lodging for that. Hope that helps. |
Question: Best place to purchase wedding invitations? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 03:19 PM PDT I've been searching for a good place to buy wedding invites and the matching rsvp cards as well for a cheap price. I'm looking for a more vintage/rustic look. I really like lace, any suggestions? |
