Question: Should I end my engagement? Posted: 22 Nov 2016 09:36 PM PST I have been in a relationship with this man for 6 years and have been engaged for almost a year. I just realized I am not happy. Our relationship has been far from perfect. The problem is the invitations have been set and my parents and grandparents are so excited. I am in my early 30's and my grandma started crying because she was so happy I am "finally" getting married. I am hideous compared to him and he makes it known. I was born with a deformed leg. It doesn't affect me much except for the appearance and a slight limp. We go to the gym together every morning and he always calls me Hop-Along to his guys. It makes me feel like a mutant freak. He also requires me to wear long pants and tennis shoes at all times. He has even informed me I have to wear opaque tights and closed toed shoes because the pictures would be ruined. He has cheated on me twice before with an ex-friend. After confronting him he swore he would stop but I think he may still be behind my back. Just yesterday he said he was going to the gym in the evening for the second time that day but when I went to call him about picking up dinner his phone was turned off and he didn't get home til after midnight (the gym closes at 10). He has major anger issues. When he is angry he will start throwing things or punching walls. He has never thrown anything or swung in my direction but it is still terrifying. These burst of anger are always over little things like a screw missing in a dresser we were assembling. He can't hold a job he always gets fired or quits within weeks. We are in the process of looking for a house and despite me being the one who will be paying all the bills he has asked that he gets to make all the decisions as I have no taste and that his name be exclusively on all the papers. Despite all of this I just noticed that our relationship may be unhealthy. I don't feel like I can end this relationship so far into it. Who is gonna date a deformed thirty something year old? |

Question: Voglio un figlio ma..?
Posted: 22 Nov 2016 11:24 AM PST My cousins parents included her name on their card. However my cousin has a lucrative job, received her own invitation , PLUS she's in the bridal party and is a full grown adult at 32. I am offended...any thoughts? |
Question: Me and my boyfriend want to get married through the court? Help please!!? Posted: 22 Nov 2016 07:09 AM PST So me and my boyfriend were planning on secretly getting married through the court since he is in navy and will be easier for us to be together. We don t want any special ceremony we just want to get married and not tell anyone until we have our big wedding a couple years down the road. What will we need to do to get a marriage certificate through court house? Do we need a license first and do we still have to have a ceremony? |
Question: Is it tacky to propose with a fake ring ...? Posted: 21 Nov 2016 11:28 PM PST Is it tacky to propose with a fake ring then go take my bride to be to pick out a ring with me so I know she gets what she likes and it fits? |
