Ive noticed a trend, mostly at school, but also in a few other places. Kids wirh different interests e.g. music taste, hobbies, are usually left out, and shat on by the "in" crowd,. For example, the majority of the kids attending school where I live are into that corporate, fake, bad rock with a fiddle called country, and anyone else who doesn t like it is wrong. So, because im a little whiny inexperienced teenager who "doesnt understand yet", someone please reassure me that they are the ones that need to be taught a lesson, and not me. Please excuse my whiny bullshit lol. |

"Stop being a little b----" But is true over the past 3 years I have fallen for the wrong women right now I like this Pakistani/Persian girl but her parents don't like me because I'm Mexican. They first like me because I look middle eastern. I overthink this for example when I talk to girls they say I come to strong but I have lots of girls that first show interest in me and they are white, black, latinas, asians, Indians, middle eastern. You know what they said that girls usually go for their own race so if pretty girls from other races like u then u must be attractive. I don't know if that's true or not but I can't focus my attention on this girl when I like this other girl. I kind of feel like I have not truly show the girl I like how much she means to me. |

They were supposed to fight on numerous occasions but never did. I guess they lied and said that someone had told them that my friend was planning on jumping them. So they got their other friend who s a junior on my friend who s a freshman (like me). My friend got her *** beat today just a few hours ago and is pretty messed up. The girl who beat her up even drove past us with her mom and was yelling crazy **** out the window. Fast forward to a couple minutes ago and I saw one of the girls posted a status saying "they better watch out its not over". I m worried because I walk home. Those girls like to play dirty and could catch me slipping any time. I really don t want to be in the middle of this drama but I don t want to seem like a pussy either. What do I do. |

| Posted: 21 Nov 2016 05:23 PM PST Me and my best friend hug eachother. A lot. We cling to eachother and hold hands and stuff, and we re just really comfortable enough to do that. When Math class ended, our teacher called us over and told us to do that outside of school. She says, "What if one of you was a boy? Would you still do that?" And both me and my BFF thought this was absolutely ridiculous. My BFF protested a bit, but was shot down. I didn t say anything. Later, I told my homeroom teacher and after that, he never said a thing about it. I m worried he ll tell the other teacher, from Math class, and that I ll be in HUGE trouble. I feel like I m suffocating right now. I feel like I did something wrong. What can I do? Was I in the wrong, and how can I fix this? I m so anxious and scared. If you're gonna judge us based on how we are, take your unneeded opinion somewhere else. Preferably a trash-can. I only need help, that's it. |

| Question: I cut a class today and I feel so guilty..? Posted: 21 Nov 2016 04:51 PM PST So today in English class we had to act out a scene from a play with our groups in front of the whole class. I have terrible social anxiety and even the thought of going up in front of everyone to do that made me want to throw up. I'm not one of those people who can just suck it up and get it over with. I would have rather died than go up there today. So I snuck into the lunchroom where my best friend was having her lunch period and just hung out there instead. Sometimes last year I would go home instead of going to last period but I've never cut in the middle of the day before. I immediately felt regretful within 5 minutes of being there and really guilty. I also felt horrible because I used my friends program to get in the cafeteria and the lady who was checking it was really suspicious of me for some reason. If the lady recognizes my friends name she might get in trouble because of me. I really hate myself. I've been feeling so depressed today and my mom just got a call from the school saying I was absent from a class and now she's suspicious of me too. If I could go back in time I wouldn't have cut... I wish I just hadn't. And I don't think I'm ever going to do it again. When the school called they said this is going to be a mark on my attendance, is cutting one class going to affect me in any way? A lot of kids in my school do it all the time and nothing ever happens to them. I know I'm probably overreacting over this, I'm in 11th grade for ***** sake. But I feel awful. |

But people still talk to me. They just don't care what i have to say, they just want to talk about their things. If i'm one of a group of three, and lets say person 1 says something "funny"(like, seriously not funny), person 2 laughs at it. And whenever 2 says anything "funny", 1 laughs at it. But whenever i say something SERIOUSLY funny, everyone just ignores me. Or whenever i say anything. Also the person 1 ignores my texts often. I know it, because i've seen them online on whatsapp. Also they never say anything about me. They're never worried (a lot of stuff is happening to me right now), i tried to talk to them multiple times but they told they were busy. So, are my "friends" just assholes or am i the problem? What do you think? |

Posted: 21 Nov 2016 02:11 PM PST I feel like I'm loosing my best friend of many years. she's been dating her boyfriend for a bit over a year now, and I think they're great together, and love that she's happy. more and more it's a struggle to see her. She ONLY is willing to hangout when she's not with him. He dropped out of college, and only works 20 hours a week, so they are together most of the time. She lost her job from calling in "sick" too much when she couldnt leave her boyfriend for the 10 hours a week she worked.. Also, she is doing poorly in school now because of the classes shes missing. Which I know isnt my concern, but shes my best friend, so I care deeply about her and hate to see her giving up the life she once loved. I do see her about 2 times a week, but it's only for about 15-30 minutes a time when shes waiting for her boyfriend to get off work. I miss her dearly and miss having our silly and important talks, seeing movies, etc. Our other best friend of many years and I have been trying to get together all three of us like we used to, but she never is not "busy". We will ask her weeks in advance to pick a date to grab dinner, and her response is i dont know -boyfriends name- work schedule yet so idk if I'm free. I leave the state in a month for a long time and made it clear it's important to me to see my friends and she flat out said she wants to see me but she "usually spends her free time with her boyfriend" am i loosing a friend? It's honestly depressing me in a serious way. |
| Posted: 21 Nov 2016 02:01 PM PST my bff and i have been friends for 3 years and lately she's been distancing herself from me so i asked her about it and she said she's sorry and i said when we're around our other friends you're happy and in a good mood but when you're around me you're depressed and she told her mom and her mom went on fb and started bashing me saying that i was being rude to her daughter and that i need to put in more effort into our friendship but i'm the only one who is trying. i'm the one always asking her if she's okay, asking how her day is and always asking to hang out. she NEVER EVER asks me how my day is and whenever she comes over it's only when she needs a ride for school or when my mom gets her paycheck. i told her yesterday that her mom should start taking her to school and picking her up and she got mad and our friendship ended at that point. today i asked her if i could have my stuff back and she said if you want it come get it and then her mom messaged me saying i need to leave her alone and that i'm making this a bigger deal than what it has to be. all i wanted was my stuff back? my mom (she stayed out of all of this until my friends mom started calling me names)then called her mom saying she needs to leave me alone and how it's mine and my friends business and she called my mom a whole bunch of names and started yelling at her saying that i have issues and i need mental help. am i in the wrong here? i haven't called her any names or said anything rude to her. |

The doctors said it's probably due to stress. No however, she's having seizures Yesterday she had one at work, and later that night she also had one which I was present for. The first one she went to the hospital because her work called the police, and the doctor said he thinks it was fake. And granted I thought that was stupid on his part because why fake a siezure? And he also didn't see it. But later that night I did. She called me and my friend and was like "I left my wallet in your car" so we went back to her house and couldn't find the wallet at all. So she decides to head inside and lookis down, digs under some leaves and finds it... I thought that was weird. How did she find it under leaves by her front door? It's like she knew it was there all along. Then however she starts to sway while my friend is talking to her. We go inside and go to take her up the stairs to her apartment and she falls, and the fall seemed somewhat delayed. And she didn't start shaking until after she was laying against the wall. And she seemed somewhat coherent and hyperventilating and her legs weren't shaking in sync, it was more sporadic and random. |

Well my manager is also good friends with my boyfriends family. My manager has a daughter that works with me. She started about 2 months ago. Her daughter was making 9 before i was. And her daughter does not do as much as me! So i was kinda mad and i told my boyfriend she was making more than me (i now make as much as her) my boyfriend told his dad everything i said. Then his das told his sister (who is also my managers best friend) well his sister told my manager i should be making more than the daughter because i have been there way longer and they got into a huge fight... For 2 years we've had a few arguments and spent a few months without talking to each other at all (we don't go to the same school but we live in the same town). Our last period of time we've spent not talking at all lasted 8 months and we've recently started talking again. I'm the quiet, reserved, serious, studying-all-day type of girl, I only have 4 friends. She's always had a huge group of friends and went partying, drinking but never anything extremely wild. Now she's changed completely. I found out (she told me) that she is not a virgin anymore, she started smoking like 4 cigarettes a day and has a very bad, rude,unfriendly attitude towards everyone. She still seems attached to me but her attitude and habits are bothering me. I don't want to argue or intervene in her life, or tell her what she should/shouldn't do but I'm afraid our friendship won't last any longer. Now I must bore her with my science jokes and always talking about school and teachers, while she obviously cares about looks, boys, makeup, partying etc.. more now. After these 8 months we grew apart and don't have anything concrete to talk about. Not being best friends unfortunately doesn't bother me anymore but how do I make her understand this? Or should I let everything flow naturally as it should? We have a lot of good memories together, she was the best friend I've ever had and the thought of not re-living those moments ever again depresses me. |

Posted: 21 Nov 2016 12:56 PM PST Let's say that I was a student within the K-8 education system, and have a specific teacher named/considered in this as The Teacher. Now, based on her class, she has never given me a single 100. I understand that it is up to the teacher of what grade I get, but I rather would like to know if this is considered as sexism: On a few occasions, My friend, who was a female, has shared her answers with me, and allowed me to copy it. That is academic dishonesty, but it was necessary for me, as I had forgot about the project. When the teacher put in the grades, I had gotten an 85, while my friend had gotten a 95. This may seem coincidental, but the story goes on. However, When the situation with the female friend was vice versa, in which I gave her my answers, I had gotten an 80, while the same female friend continued to get her 95. I would also like to add that when I gave my work to a male friend, he had a higher grade than me, but less than the female friend, who shared the same work. This scenario has happened multiple times, even when I do my actual work. She makes my work seem as if it had no merit. Now, would this be considered as sexist or that she hates me?Moreover, I would like to point out that Im not ranting to get a better grade. Likewise, don't bother pointing out my academic dishonesty of homework. You've probably done it at least once, too. This probably has no factor, but the people I shared my answer with are Asian, and so am I. |

It s just that they all have very strong personalities and i m just more bland i guess. i have a RBF and am not so expressive. sometimes i don t get why my friends even are my friends, and in most situations i think of how i could be more outgoing but get consumed in my thoughts. i don t even know how to hold conversations for that long. i like this guy and we re good friends but he told me that i always look so angry but i can t really help it. i hate how quiet i am compared to all my friends and i m not really sure how to be any more outgoing. |

I felt like I had no friends that was a girl to talk to. But one of my fairly best friends was there for me, she is the nicest person. She she was telling me it was going to be okay and stuff and then, My best best friend (the one i've known for years) had sex for the first time with her bf of 2 years But the girl that was helping me when i was so upset over them being mean to me asked if my bff and her bf had sex and i thought about it for a sec and then i had to say yes. It seemed to fishy since i'd been waiting and i didn't want her to find out later and realize i lied. Plus, my two "best friends" Were so mean to me that today and I was thinking about bad things and she was the one there for me now i feel soo guilty. Because if she knew that I told her she would kill me, But today in class i thought i was going to throw up because i felt so guilty. I feel so bad at the time it felt okay to tell but now it doesn't To make it even worse i was crying to my guy best friends and he asked me why and i said cause i told blank that blank and blank had sex! I totally forgot he didn't know and started panicking even more because i wasn't supposed to say anything. I'm scared cause if i tell her i wont feel guilty anymore but I'm scared if i do I'll lose my best friend forever :( what do i do? |

I started to blush when they got to some people, but only because I blush easily... And I was able to keep myself from blushing before, but I guess I was overwhelmed this time. So I blushed, and they got super LOUD about it... They arent even my frieds really... Theyre such bitches. Only one of the four, am I true friends with. All of my other friends go to my classes at different times. So the whole thing was behind us for the day, or so I thought. Today on the bus, a little birdie whom I trust, told me that she heard them talking to him, and saying I apparently liked him. I know this isn't a big deal, but I've had enough of these girls. I'm in all of the same classes as my other friends, but at a completely different time. and if I drop them, I don't have anyone else I know in my classes. Ugh, I hate this. |
| Posted: 21 Nov 2016 12:24 PM PST my bff and i have been friends for 3 years and lately she's been distancing herself from me so i asked her about it and she said she's sorry and i said when we're around our other friends you're happy and in a good mood but when you're around me you're depressed and she told her mom and her mom went on fb and started bashing me saying that i was being rude to her daughter and that i need to put in more effort into our friendship but i'm the only one who is trying. i'm the one always asking her if she's okay, asking how her day is and always asking to hang out. she NEVER EVER asks me how my day is and whenever she comes over it's only when she needs a ride for school or when my mom gets her paycheck. i told her yesterday that her mom should start taking her to school and picking her up and she got mad and our friendship ended at that point. today i asked her if i could have my stuff back and she said if you want it come get it and then her mom messaged me saying i need to leave her alone and that i'm making this a bigger deal than what it has to be. all i wanted was my stuff back? my mom (she stayed out of all of this) then called her mom saying she needs to leave me alone and how it's mine and my friends business and she called my mom a whole bunch of names and started yelling at her saying that i have issues and i need mental help. am i in the wrong here? i haven't called her any names or said anything rude to her and they're both acting like i did. am i wrong? |

When they stopped being friends with me they left the group chat. It's been 4 months & im so scared they're going to expose me what to I do? I don't talk or see them anymore sometimes I do but they don't acknowledge me. I'm a junior in highschool how can I not be exposed help please. I'm longer friends with a girl who more or less treated me badly towards the end of my friendship. We are similar people and would clash often. However, towards the end, she not only disrespected me but completely disrespected my boyfriend and generally made me miserable all of the time. I haven't spoken to her for nearly 6 months. Before I cut contact, she started to ignore my messages in our group chat whenever I suggested to meet up. After months of feeling like ****, I stopped talking to her. I haven't seen or heard from her whatsoever since. However, I'm a person who doesn't like to hold grudges. I forgive but never forget. A part of me wants to meet up with her discuss our whole falling out. I've lost two friends as well as her in our former group (one who was very, very close to me) and I just feel a bit sorry for myself that I've lost two friends because of her. She treated me horribly and the way I look at it, I stood up for myself by cutting contact. So what I should I do? Should I let bygones be bygones and let her pass? Or should I meet up with her and resolve everything? |

I am graduating in 3 years and i am tired of my friends. I don't feel like i fit in. I don't listen to the music they listen to as i listen to opera and i feel like the kids in my school can't support me. The friends that i have and i am sure that they will last. I don't think that any of my school friends will last, except of my best friend. Also if my best friend is absent i don't know with who to hang out. Lastly i feel like i would prefer to have guy friends but in my age guys are not mature enough. I really don't know what to do i have some close friends from outside the school with whom i feel like we connect and communicate. The problem is in school. Also a lot of groups have already been formed and joining one would be weird as the kids in each group have been hanging out together for years. Also me and my best friend when we're not with each other hang out wih different types of people wich leads us to hanging out with some of my friends in one break and her friends in the other, but i don't like her friends. |

Posted: 21 Nov 2016 09:47 AM PST At least years holiday party for my work I made a huge fool out of myself in front of my co workers. I got extremely drunk and don t remember a majority of the night. The bits and pieces that I do remember and the things people told me I did are humilating. It s nobody s fault but mine and it was very irresponsible and inappropriate to get that drunk at a work function. For what it s worth, I had planned to only have a couple drinks that night. I learned that once I get to that tipsy, feeling good stage I don t want to stop drinking and end up going too far. I plan on going this year and having ZERO drinks and showing my co workers that this year is different. I haven t put my name on the sign up list yet as the list is public in the break room where everyone can see it. One co worker told me that I shouldn t go this year but he did this by butting into a conversation wihich he wasn t even a part of. He was there last year so he knows how bad it was but it s still none of his business. I AM going this year and I m doing this for me. Any advice on how to handle this year or what to say if people make comments? |
