Question: How can I help my wife ? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 09:17 PM PST My wife's grandmother passed away this week. She feels really bad. All week I've asked her if she was ok with it she said yes but tonight she finally broke down in front of me when she was getting ready for bed. She keeps saying how horrible she was not being there she should have taken the week off work like the rest of her family did. She was working the night she passed. She didn't know till after work. She feels bad not being there as much as the family was. Now she's afraid of loosing me. She said she can't sleep at all. The funeral is Monday she doesn't want to go she's really scared. She also can't sleep very well. How can I help her feel better ? |

Posted: 24 Nov 2016 06:46 PM PST I have tried to fix my marriage for years but my husband is refusing, we're only together because I cannot afford to divorce and he is refusing to cooperate. I have a male coworker who is married, we always chat and joke about work,, we have such a connection and he seems like the perfect man I have been wanting to meet my entire life, but I don't know if he has the same feelings for me, we sometimes talk about our families, but he has nothing but praise for his wife and kids. He pulled me in for a hug the other day and since I can't stop thinking about him. But at the same time, I know he will not leave his wife and I don't want to be a homewrecker. I'm not into affairs and promiscuous relationships. How can I forget the whole thing? |

Question: Should I feel bad about going back to my house? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 02:50 PM PST I had a major fight with my husband and came to stay a few days to my parents house before things got worse. We now talked and fixed everything but im embarrased of going back to our house. Mostly with my family. |
Posted: 24 Nov 2016 11:54 AM PST my spouse talks in gaming channels a lot. when i came into the room and asked him what he wanted to eat, he was rather cold and said to his online friends, "hold on im being talked to". i asked him later why he said in such an impolite manner, and he was like "well, tell me how you want me to meet your standards" (but he was a bit sarcastic about it). but was his initial way of talking to me considered rude? i mean, isnt it more acceptable to say something like "wait a moment, my wife is wanting to say something to me..." nicer sounding, isnt it? |
Question: Have you ever been through a divorce? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 11:08 AM PST If yes. Why did you divorce and what was it like.. Just would like to know cause I'm going through one and don't know what to expect. I feel really depressed. |
Question: Should I be ok with wife posing for nude art photos? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 10:24 AM PST My wife's fiend's husband is taking a photography class. For his current project, he is shooting everyday women of different ethnicities in different stages of life. My wife is middle eastern and just delivered our first baby 3 months ago. Her friend asked her if she wanted to volunteer for the shoot because she would be one of the ideal subjects. She said that photos were not going to be public and just used for his class project. My wife agreed because she said the only people who would see the photos would be the class and instructor. When my wife came back from the shoot, she told me that she was fully nude in a few of the photos and shot from the front standing. This surprised me that she was comfortable with this. I am now wondering if I should ask to have them omit her photos from the project. But this is something that my wife wants to do so I'm not sure what to do. |
Question: Ex husband won't pay child support? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 09:29 AM PST My ex husband is the father of my 2nd born and he lived with us for 3 years until the divorce. I made the mistake of marrying a verbally and physically abusive manipulative drug addict and alcoholic thinking he loved me and I could help him. He denied rehab and was a crazy narcissist who thought the world revolved around him. Now I have full custody of our daughter and he is refusing to pay child support. What should I do??? |
Posted: 24 Nov 2016 09:08 AM PST Sorry, the man s wife has a friend that told them about her affair with a married man that happened over a yr ago, for some reason he decided to text the married mans wife all about it and harass her. |
Posted: 24 Nov 2016 08:47 AM PST We were together 17 years and have 50/50 custody of our two kids. She had an affair with her coworker and divorced me to chase him 4 years ago. The guy dumped her a year after the divorce, but seems to float in and out of her life. Our daughter's girlfriend's family invited all 4 of us to their house for thanksgiving dinner tjrough my ex wife. My ex wife called to extend the invitation to me. I easnt so sure, but she kept trying to persuade me so, I finally said yes. Last night she called me from the store wanting my.input into what deserts we should bring. Our son has asked for us to have thanksgiving dinner together for the past few years and she has refused. What gives? How should I play this? |

Question: Should we smoking in a new house? Posted: 24 Nov 2016 07:18 AM PST My husband and I are both casual smokers and have lived with father in a non-smoking house. We are debating, as we move, if we are going to make our new house smoke-friendly. On one hand, it sounds nice, being able to relax, cook, work around the house while smoking. On the other hand, we know its not really PC and neither of have lived in a smoke-friendly house...it might make us even smoke more. Anyone else who has faced this dilemma? |

Posted: 23 Nov 2016 11:19 PM PST Family come from other states for the Holidays. Planning on a get together. Mom tells son to not bring wives dog because the dog ran off last visit and got in a fight with neighbor dogs. This is the wife and husbands first Thanksgiving together as a couple and marriage. Wife calls a kennel and learns it will cost 100 to board dog. She is trying to come up with a way everyone is happy as she don't think its fair for her to spend her 1st Thanksgiving together with her husband away from him. She tells him but says she can't afford this after paying bills and still survive till next pay day a month away. Husband says so she says well I guess I won't be able to go then. She doesn't want for him to stay she knows his family is in town. She wants to spend it with him as well. She finally just asks if he could help 50/50 he says he can't afford it either. He gets paid way more than wife and was paid same day as she was. She paid the two big bills. His solution is don't go. The wife doesn't sent him not to go she wants him to go knowing that's family. He acts like he really doesn't want her to go that's it life. She says it is a first holiday together you never have another chsncr to do the first again. Is it ok she spend the Holidays alone while her husband is with his family. |

Question: My new husband calls me everyday right before he leaves work...? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 09:34 PM PST To tell me that he's about to leave the office and asks me "Do you need anything?" Why is he doing this? I can get things myself if I need them. I have a car too. What is he referring to? We've been married 6 months and he does it all the time. I don't know him that well, we were arranged through our Indian families. |
Question: Girls: Would you like this? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 08:59 PM PST how would you feel if you were happily married to your husband for over twenty years and he was your best friend and everything & he proposed that you guys slip away for the weekend to a place & go and get small tattoos in your intimate areas so that just you and him would know about them & spice up your sex life & keep the tattoos secret from your children? |
Posted: 23 Nov 2016 07:42 PM PST My husband and I have been having difficulties over the past few years. We are 23 so still pretty young with a lot of issues of our own. I explained that we just need time to figure ourselves out. So I am not really interested in getting divorced right away. Looked into being legally separated, but it costs a fee, and I suppose neither of us are ready to go through those final steps.... But currently I am dating someone and was just curious if somehow my spouse could use that against me in court, or just divorce proceedings that could cost me money.... We don't have any children, we don't own a home, no cars... so I don't think he could screw me out of anything... just want to be sure |
Question: My husband just told me he is gay, what do i do? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 07:10 PM PST Two days ago my husband decided to come out of the closet and tell me that he is gay. I was shocked because we have been married for 32 years and have four grown children and one 3 grandchildren. I talked to my doctor and asked him if there's a cure for his gayness, he said there isn't. I am going to be taking my husband to therapy starting on monday because this is not normal behavior. Is there another way I can turn my husband straight again? |
Question: Holiday Problems with the Husband? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 05:28 PM PST My husband is mad because his parents didn't make Thanksgiving plans (they told us they were going out of town) and now he has found out they will be alone at Thanksgiving and he wanted me to have them over to my parents (where we will be) but my parents don't like them and he dropped all of this on me on Thanksgiving Eve. Help!. I might add, he is pissed at me because I called him out on the fact that they kinda lied about leaving town...(they never had plans to go anywhere)....I have NO issue with going to see them but he is acting like I do , and I think it is unfair to throw that on my parents at the last minute (which is where we are when he told me, the night before Thanksgiving Day).... |
Question: Why my Husband getting mad because I don't want to get a big tv? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 04:53 PM PST So my husband text me saying we should get a tv on Black Friday. I said okay I saw a 40" for $200 and he said that size is small....We got a 70" in 2013 but my toddler son broke it last year so we been depending on our 37inch tv for entertainment. I'm never home during the day and he is never home during nighttime. He let his friend "borrow" our PS4 because he said no one uses it. My son has been doing bad in kindergarten so I limit his television use. So I don't see the point of a 2nd tv at all but I don't mind getting a 40" for $200. I told him I just don't wanna spend $700-$1000 on another 70" TV a |
Question: I don't know who to talk to and need arrowhead advice. Help? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 03:39 PM PST A couple of days ago my husband told me he had slipped up and had been watching pornography the past couple months. I was away during that time completing an internship so I can graduate. I'm glad he told me and he feels ashamed that he watched it. He told me that he wants to be better and not have it be an issue, but I feel super hurt right now. I feel totally worthless, angry, worried... He really is a great guy. I'm just having a hard time seeing it right now. I can't even look at him because it hurts me to know what he's been looking at. And I feel incrediblu guilty. I feel like if I hadn't have gone away, then he wouldn't have been so depressed, then he wouldn't have slipped up. I'm hurting so much right now, but I know I need to be there with him to help him with his porn problem. I have so many emotions going on right now though that I'm just thinking about me. I feel like I'm accidentally pushing him away and I'm scared that will just make the problem worse. The last thing I want to do is be intimate with him right now. Including hand holding, kissing him, etc. What should I do? |
Question: Should I get a prenup? Posted: 23 Nov 2016 07:39 AM PST It would be a second marriage. He said his retirement pension is his and I will not get his pension. I have my own pension coming later, not a lot, but it is a little something. He wants a prenup. His last ex-girlfriend who dumped him, he wanted to marry. He had put her name on his pension before they were even married and he kept her on there even after the breakup and then a few months later got her name off of it and put other heirs on it, his adult children. I thought, not a smart move to have her name on it after a breakup. He was probably hoping they would reconcile. I expect he wised up. Still, I thought, not a smart financial move on his part. Some people are for prenups and others get offended if asked to have one drawn up. He ex-wife never worked and had told him what money he makes is hers also. He resented that when he saw other women working and resented having to pay for everything. Why couldn't she work too, but she refused to. She spent all his money. It's been several years since his ex-girlfriends breakup. Maybe he doesn't regard me in the same light as her, even after all these years or he is making more sound financial decisions. He was deeply in love with this ex-girlfriend and I think, no I know, that was why he put her on his pension right away. He would of done anything to marry her. Now I think he is being more cautious because of that negative experience. He is much more financially better off than me even if we were to breakup. He makes a very good salary. Long story, I do get a small inheritance. He told me, if I die first, Why not give all that money to him. They are his "adult" children-2 We have no children. I have no children from my previous marriage. Not to go into details but he has a very high paying job. He can give to his children what he chooses to give them at this point or nothing at all.
