I had never been in a relationship before(he was my first kiss if you don't count the assault).I am 25 yrs old. I realize this is abnormal but they are a number of factors contributing to it.Anyways this guys lets call him X is very sexually experienced. We are on each other's best friends list. Today I gave her my number and we started texting. That all sounds good, but I'll explain the mixed signals below by explaining how she acts on each form of communication. In person: Whenever we see each other she gives me a really nice smile and says hello. Whenever we actually talk, its always me approaching her and saying hello. The conversations are always under 5 minutes. I have to try really hard to come up with things to talk about and questions to ask her because many of her responses are very short. We seem to have trouble holding a conversation which leads to some awkward silence. Snapchat: First, the good: She always replies, sends cute pictures, I can make her laugh. Bad: She typically takes 1 hour to reply (sometimes way longer (5 hours), sometimes after like 15 mins). A lot of times she doesn't use text and just sends a picture. Not sure if that's good or bad. So we're at the theater, talking pretty much only to each other, he offered to teach me to drive (it came up in conversation lol) offered to buy me soda/candy, at one point we almost sat by ourselves for the movie but I thought it prudent to sit with my friends, shared his popcorn with me, etc. He was nice, but I had so much nervous energy I'm afraid I came off as too chatty, he seemed pretty quiet after the movie (he seemed tired though).
