I understand people need to vent to but why come to me? That day I sent her flowers to show my love and support. It's been stressing me seeing her go through so much, I want her to be alright and have great health. She's always so supportive to me. We both always send encouraging texts, she's always liking all of my social media posts, we send inspirational stuff to each other, etc.. We're very close. She's a very blunt lady and will tell you like it is. She's always giving me compliments, telling me how amazing I am, so I take it to heart. My husband's ex wife has three kids with him. they've been divorced several years now. she's made poor choices over and over again. We're always having to deal with the poor choices she makes. Most recently, she is getting a divorce from her second husband. She called to speak with me about the new man she has in her life, and had to fill me in..basically because some relatives of hers discovered the man has some history with domestic abuse (strangulation charges), soliciting sex, cocaine, running in a search warrant, etc. the relatives are not happy, and she knew they would come to us with the info. anyways, they did provide all the court stuff they found on this guy. So we're not too happy. Main issue is that she is going to be desperate to have someone move in within the next month or two to help with rent. we are worried about the kids being in her care with a strange new guy she just met. Anything we can do? Unfortunately I do end up doing most of the communication because she is a brat and refuses to answer his texts or calls when he does try to communicate with her Vuldam- here are a few of her choices she's made over the years. she has moved back and forth between different states. Twice she has left to live in a different state. When she moves back she demands she gets 50% placement, forcing us to hire attorneys at $100 an hour. if we don't bow to her wishes, she pushes the court costs further and further draining us. she moves every 6 months which effects our work and pick up schedules. my husband and i work hard at jobs we've always held. she on the other hand has barely kept jobs. she recently chose to get a job 2nd shift and often can't pick the kids up from school. she makes poor financial decisions, throws big birthday parties for the kids then whines that she can't provide them new shoes, despite paying her CS of course we always come through and provide what the kids need, in addition to the child support, having the kids here extra days, we are sick of enabling her. of courrse we don't want the kids to bear the burden of her poor decisions but that means enabling her with extra money and supporting these poor choices of hers. i am fed up I agree Missy but I guess I listen to my husbands excuses about it all. he'll say things like.."you KNOW she won't answer me.. and then xyz will happen." Basically it's a guilt trip to do it because it's hard for him to correct the issue with her

Ok so I dated this very good-looking guy twice. He was 25 (I'm 22), tall, dark hair, handsome, fit with blue eyes and worked in investment banking but his personality was really awful. I hopped various jobs where I live and I cannot hold them, I see the same consistency when I am out here in general. All of the guys that I am around has an attitude like Steve jobs at best to having a deliquent personality at worst, The black women carries attitudes that you could only find in a prison and so do the white women. When I was confronted, she didn't say to not talk to him, she just said she doesn't like me talking to him. I'm a Junior in college and when I park my car and then walk to class I often walk through the student union in the morning and there's a Starbucks. Now don't get me wrong; I love my caffeine too but I prefer it cold via a cold can of Monster which is about $1.50 for me and I buy them in bulk anyways. But I often see a ton of kids lined up at the Starbucks in the student union. Coffee there is about $8.50 (it's usually more at places like schools and airports) and I really don't get where these kids are getting all this money to blow on something like this? Hell, for $8 I could eat for 3 days! Yes, my parents fortunately are helping me out with college as they have with my other siblings who have attended college before me, and I do get a weekly allowance in spending money and groceries but I would NEVER dare waste my money like that.
