My mother and i have not spoken for about 3 years now. I love my long term partner but the attraction is gone. He struggles with motivation and I am the opposite. I am not financially secure but am doing a course and working to aim higher. My mother left town to go to Houston for a distant relative's funeral this weekend. My Dad had a long set of things to do before she gets home Tuesday. Yet when he tries to go someone where my mother gets irritated at him (although for a funeral she'd be okay with it). Also he is never allowed to have friends over and she never lets him have time with his family (she doesn't get along with them). At holidays he is barred from having the family holiday with his side, only hers, though she lets him take gifts by the week of Christmas (visit must be short). I work FT but have no money saved. He demands my money always screaming at me. Telling me what to do. Telling me how much of a snake b***h I am, I'm fat nasty b****. Okay I have been diagnosed with OCD and my recent thoughts are simply: What if you and your boyfriend don't last forever like you hope it will?
