So my daughter is 14 and she's always complaining about how she doesn't have any friends since she doesn't have anything in common with other girls her age, doesn't get along with them, etc. I really don't understand what the problem is though. I have 7 other siblings that hang out and never invite me anywhere. Every guy im with leaves me for another woman or are losers because I dont feel like I can do any better. At work no one talks to me, people hang out together and do lunch and no one ever invite s me. The class I came in with all gets to train people but they never let me train anyone they sit people with everyone and my group but me! I sound better on the phones then a lot of them! We all are saying the same thing so why cant I train, im quiet and reserved yes but I know how to talk to people on the phone. I actually open up more on the phones. I feel like everyone thinks im weird or something.. It's like this at every job I work at. I have 3 kids that I love dearly and I know they need me but sometimes I just dont want to exist. Should I seek help does anyone else ever feel like this? |

I'm 14 too and my mom won't let me for some reason but let's him. We're fraternal twins (I'm a girl he's a boy) but we always stick together and we hang out in the same friend group. She lets him go do more things with our friends but not me and specifically asks me many questions. All she said to me was that there will be teenage boys + my brother's older friends whom I've never met there and I told her I'd be careful and not do drugs and alcohol. I've always been a good child and never did anything bad. There won't be adults there but there will be some people a few years older than us and yet my brother is still allowed to go to places like that and do more things but im not allowed to |

Since we went to the same college we chose to stay friends. We even have hung out and talked a good bit. He moved away in August once he got a job in a new state. I always assumed if he didn't want to be friends then he wouldn't keep in touch. Since he has been gone he and I have talked a good bit, he even randomly sent me friend requests on social media. If I don't text him, he'll reach out and text me. So I had the impression he wasn't trying to kick me out of his life after he moved. Today I found out on Facebook that he is in town. I only found out because someone tagged him in a picture saying, "Good to have you back, even if it is only til Sunday!" He never even mentioned to me he was in town or planning to for that matter. So clearly he doesn't want to see me. Why text and act like we're friends if he has no intention of actually seeing me and being a real friend? I guess I am upset because I live in Florida and he lives in California now, so it will be a while before we even have the opportunity to see one another. |

In the first night, we had a dinner together at a local restaurant and at some point around 10, many people went out or decided to go back to the hotel. So it was just me, two other friends and two other lecturers that were left. Both the lecturers are nice people, and with one of them i am currently having workshops twice a week. I had two glasses of wine at the time, but because of the much food I ate beforehand, I was nothing but tipsy at most (don't even think I reached the tipsy point, but anyway). Then, my lecturer asked me if I wanted something to drink, because he was going the bar. I had a dry throat but really did not know what I want, so I just jokingly replied "well...alright, you can decide what to get me". He replied "Wow, that's difficult" and I was like "Yeah, it's difficult in your classes, too." He brought me a drink and I never thought twice about it, I usually joke with him (and everyone else, basically), until I spoke to one of my friends after we left. She was reckoning my answer as being very inappropriate to tell a teacher at the uni and that it was out of line. And to be completely honest, since she told me this, I can't stop worrying about that situation. I did not mean anything beyond the joke I said but now I feel awful. Literally ashamed. I do not consider mentioning it to him, but I feel so appalled that the message might have come across so wrong. |

The cabin has 6 beds but we booked it for two adults (two 18 year olds) then my friend invited another person and insists on 'sneaking them in' and not checking them in because we were booked for two. I think it's immature and we'll get kicked out, do you think they will kick us out? The teacher picks on students to play a part in the story, as in R&J there are different characters with different parts in the story. I was picked to play on this one guy named something like Metrion or something, I forgot sorry. Well, in my english class I'm usually quiet. I don't really raise my hand. I just talk to my friends and stuff and that's all. But he picked me to read it and that's ok. So we were reading our lines, then we got to this HUGE line I had. Like a page long, and before that I was like "Oh my god.." and everyone started laughing. Then I read it, and when I finished everyone started clapping and said "EPIC JOB" and then at the end of class (5 min later) I asked my friend how did I do and he said you were beast. Then everyone was like you did awesome you killed it. They didn't do this to anyone else, so why me? I was so confused.. I just read that huge line and it all happened lol. |

He sits next to me in all of our mutual classes, when he can. He knows other people in the classes n we may enter and be the 4th people in class (35 other seats open all over the room), but he waits to see where I sit and sits right next to me. If we don't sit next to each other bcuz of a group project or seats being full, he STARES ME DOWN. In class he will always take every opportunity to ask me questions/ ask me to explain little things to him... like, I know he knows some of the things, but he still asks.. Every time I have ever started the convo or talked to him for a decent amount of time, he gets VERY RED/flustered and nervous.. he can barely keep steady eye contact with me. It is extremely weird tho because he is a VERY good looking guy who has a lot of experience with girls n appears confident/outgoing from what I see from him with others.. that all being said, I don't know how to make this anything because these are college classes and when you walk in the professor instructs, then you walk out n go to your next class. There is really not much time for small talk. What should I do? I don't feel comfortable asking him to go out or something, in case the feelings aren't mutual. She get's annoying a lot and it gets on my nerves. She already lives on her own because her school is far away and comes back home almost every weekend. I m expecting to talk to her about things when she comes back, but I end dissappointed because she tells me to shut up everytime I start talking and says she doesn t care. | Posted: 11 Nov 2016 11:09 AM PST Earlier this year, I asked a friend if I could borrow $1200 for her and she said no. I got mad and posted some meme's about her on Instagram. We haven't spoken since and I notice she blocked me on all of her social media sites. Now, I am aware that I was wrong from posting the meme's but I have friends that are still friends with her on Facebook. I asked them to remove her from their social networks. All of them told me including my mother. I went behind my mothers back and block her anyway. Every body is telling to get over it because she had a right to say no the loan. That's fine but I feel that my friends should be friends with her either. |

I don't know if it's only a feeling, but I'm concerned about our friendship. I tell her all my problems and she tells me all her problems, when she tells me about her problems, I listen or stay interested wether she is texting me or telling me face to face. When I tell her about my problems (usually texting) I feel like she tries and changes the subject, or if I tell her what happened to me the day she wasn't there on school (either good or bad), she doesn't show any interest and changes the subject. I don't know if its only me, so please help. I love her to bits (as friends only) and I really don't want to lose her. |

My friend kept on calling me today (18 times) and I didn't answer. I was working on an assignment for university and then had to leave to perfom important tasks. Honestly, I feel like I have more important things to do and answering the phone is a waste of time. I have other friends who would take hours to reply to my texts and I don't mind it at all. But this friend doesn't seem to understand. Now she have texted asking "what is your problem?" Do you think she is rude or am I rude? What would you do in such a situation |

I am a Jr. and I don't like some of my friends cause when we met they were really into video games, however I decided to quit and now everyone has their own friend groups. So If I leave my friends then I don't know what to do! Please Help! Im Confused. Should I feel This way? |
| Question: How do I get noticed automatically? Posted: 11 Nov 2016 10:53 AM PST In gym today I didn't get chosen for a basketball game because the teams were already made. I was standing on the sideline where they could see me but I didn't get chosen to play with them on either team. They always make teams and I hate that because I didn't ask to play and my friends didn't even ask me to play with them. One of the students told me to get off the court. I am tired of having to ask for everything. I want to be asked more than I have to talk to be acknowledged. Why do people that talk have a better chance of getting noticed than me who doesn't talk a lot. How do I get noticed without having to talk? |

I was just sitting at my apartment with my big sister when my ex boyfriend knocked on my door. Now he cheated on me and broke up with me after I found out. When I answered the door he just said that he was really bored and then out of nowhere he mumbled aking if he could do ballet for me and my sister!!! I started laughing but it gets even better! When I said I wasn't sure, he begged me to let him do ballet for us! Hahaha! What makes this so funny is that he usually acts so tough and mean but now he just wants to be a graceful, little ballerina for my sister and I! Aww how sweet hahahaha So girls, here are my questions for you.. 1) He asked me if we wanted him to wearing anything special before he does ballet for us! LOL!! So girls, what do you think we should have him put on? P.s. We have tiaras, crop tops, skinny jeans, yoga pants, and even a pair of pink leather leggings! Lol I think we even have a tutu around here somewhere 2) How long do you think his ballet performance for us should be?? 3) Any ideas of what music we should play while he dances?? Please help out girls! P.s. Currently my sister has him tip toeing around while also spinning in circles whenever she says "spin"! Lmao!! So we decided to hang out next month and go to the movies and have lunch. But I'm thinking of an idea to what to do for her birthday and my mom was telling me maybe Saturday will still be on. My friend is broke so she won't be able to take the bus to the shopping center. My mom doesn't have a car (trying to save up for one) and neither of my friend and I can drive. I told my friend I didn't mind paying her way for the movie tickets and lunch. She said that's nice but I dont have to do that and we can just hang next month. I insisted her but she said no but thanks. |

I usually spend it alone and I don t do anything. Years of negative thinking finally hit it s peak and I m done with it. I m done pleasing everyone, I m done having that negative mind set. So I hosted a small dinner that ended up having a huge turn out. I invited my family and friends I saw more frequently. Had a good night only to end up with a rude text message and bash me on Facebook on how I forgot to invite old friends from high school. That was a long time ago. I understand I didn t invite everyone. But did they have the right to go that far? |

Posted: 11 Nov 2016 08:33 AM PST (I'm 15 years old and female) For a while now I've noticed that I've been lying to my family and friends about things without wanting to lie to them. Idk how to explain it. If somebody askes me a question, a lie pops out of my mouth before I can even say my truthful answer. I've tried to stop and think about my answer before I speak, but the lies always end up spilling out. And it's not every question I'm asked that I lie to. I'm not sure why I lie. But I think something is seriously wrong with me. I sooooo close to losing my best friend because of my lying problem. It's not like I wanna lie to her. (And the lying problem even occurs over text. I start typing a lie without even thinking.) My bestie hates liars. I've told her that I think I have a lying problem, but she thinks I'm lying about my lying problem! And I don't think it's compulsive lying cuz I don't lie or bend the truth about everything, and I barely feel any comport what-so-ever in lying. Please help me!
