Question: How would you want to be asked out? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 03:44 PM PST Girls how would you like to be asked out? There's this really cute girl in my gym class, I'm one of 3 boys in the class. We're all either juniors or seniors. I'm a junior I think she is too by she may not be. We all cook on Thursdays and Fridays instead of excersising. I'm not in her group for that though. But the first day of school I was looking for the gym and she was too so we ran into each other and looked for our teacher together. We have not traded a word since than...it's November. She's really beautiful and seems to be a very smart young woman. The thing is that I'm a mixed Latino but look Caucasian, her last name is Salim & her first name is actually very sweet. It's Amen but spelled differently. My name is Daniel. It's possible that she's Muslim not that I care but she doesn't wear a hijab but either way I don't care I grew up religiously mixed also. She has darker skin you could say black or brown & beautiful long black hair. Older girls in their early 20s have called me cute but idk if I'm handsome. Other guys pointed this out but she does have a cute butt. Obviously she's a smart girl but she is very beautiful. I could add her on Facebook but her account is private & like me doesn't add many people so no mutual friends. Actually I think she's a senior
Question: I need help creating clues for a scavenger hunt I'm doing for my boyfriend's birthday.? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 01:47 PM PST so it will start off putting a bday card on his windshield of his car, then going to the first place we met (when we were neighbors at the apartments), then going to the park where there is a Disc Golf course, then to his favorite brewing/restaurant just opposite of the park, then to the movie theatre, and back to his house with a big box waiting as his present ... what are some ideas for the clues?
Question: How to deal with this situation? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 01:34 PM PST So I m in the 9th grade and tommorwonight I have to sleep over at my church for two nights (I have to do it for my confirmation) and I really don t want to. It s 15 minutes away from my house, but we have to stay there for the night. I have really bad anxiety issues as well and unfamiliar situations give me panic attacks. How do I cope with this? I seriously don t want to go.
Question: Moms would you have done this? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 12:57 PM PST I just got back from picking up my daughter at school. Since it was warm out and I did not get out of my car I drove barefoot and did not bring my shoes.
Question: Follow up on drinks with the ex? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 12:52 PM PST I'm supposed to be meeting my ex tomorrow for drinks. We broke up on fairly good terms. He said it would be something to look forward to, which I thought was strange since we're not together. I said that I guess we could do that, but he hasn't said anything since mentioning it on Monday. Shall I just forget it? After all if he's the one making the effort, shouldn't he suggest a place and time? I also have something of his, so need to know if I should bring it in to work, and he never makes an effort, so I don't think I should chase him.
Posted: 10 Nov 2016 12:31 PM PST Swear i am not, what should i do? i feel restricted at work now and stressful, i dont wanna meet her, i change my way etc butbychance i meet her again.
Question: Il mio ragazzo non viene? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 11:58 AM PST Il mio ragazzo non viene se sono io a fargli i preliminari... credo che lui non boia problemi perché da solo viene, ma se faccio io non c è verso. Come mai? Come posso risolvere? Vi prego aiutatemi
Question: Why are most good-looking guys douches? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 11:49 AM PST Ok so I dated this very good-looking guy twice. He was 25 (I'm 22), tall, dark hair, handsome, fit with blue eyes and worked in investment backing but his personality was really awful. He was quite shallow, arrogant, bragged about himself, and everytime I tried to initiate a conversation about music or politics, he sounded like he didn't care at all about what I had to say. Anyway at the end of the 2nd date he invited me to his place, but I declined and he hasn't texted me again ever since (I care less anyway) Looks doesn't matter when you are that shallow. No-one owes you anything because you happened to have good aesthetics

Question: Do you think I caused him to lash out? Or did he kind of overreact? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 09:01 AM PST i asked the guy I liked if we could talk more, get to know one another & he told me he doesn't have any interest in long distance relationships and/or friendships cause they were tedious and a lot of work. I mistakenly thought he felt bad or at least cared about my feelings so I told him I was kinda sad that, that's how he feels about them and he'll never know unless he tries and I think it'd just be nice to have someone to talk to, wouldn't you want? and in my mind I really thought that he would want that or at least be cool with that but he replied back and was like I do not want that and thought he made it clear while remaining nice.. and I thought that was so beyond rude I mean he didn't have to waste his time writing a paragraph a simple I'm not into you would've been fine, I would've have even replied back.. anyway he also told me to respect his boundaries and not to text him again. I felt so heartbroken because I wasn't trying to intrude in his life or come off as a stalker, I was just really fond of him & thought he was a genuine guy who wouldn't mind talking to someone new you know.. Anyway, do you think I made him lash out? Or did he kind of overreact? I'm still genuinely hurt that we couldn't keep in touch, or at least be friends on social media. I feel like we could've been good friends that's why I wanted to take a risk and see where things could go and down the drain was where it went *please give me your honest opinions and not rude ones*
Question: What are good ways to deal with grief - my Mom passed away about six weeks ago? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 07:49 AM PST She lived a good long life and didn't suffer much. I am working and basically functioning, but things are hard. I don't want to feel negative. I know it takes time. Any suggestions would be helpful. thanks.
Question: Are others being insensitive to my grief? Or am I expecting too much? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 07:44 AM PST My Mom died about six weeks ago. I know it is typical for everyone to gather around for the funeral and a short time after, to offer help, etc. But then everyone wants to get on with their lives. I do not sit and moan and groan all day, but occasionally I want to at least acknowledge that things are difficult emotionally and that I'm trying. I feel as though even a quick "hang in there" would be nice, but people don't want to even hear that. I am trying to be positive and move ahead. I am trying to let go of Mom and also keep her in my heart. Maybe I am too sensitive. Maybe my friends don't understand. I think I have been there for them, though. How do I handle this? I know Mom lived a good long life and didn't suffer much. But it's still a lot to deal with. I am trying to keep busy, make future plans and distract myself. I don't want to feel this way! I know we all go through it. But now I feel a bit angry with people. Maybe I'm just deflecting the anger. Thanks for any thoughts.
Question: Does this text sounds genuine? Or do you think he's just being nice? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 07:43 AM PST the guy I like was moving back home to his hometown and I wanted to talk to him more, get to know each other so I sent him this text - "hey I know you're like half way across the country but I was wondering if we could talk more, get to know one another, that is if you want to. I just thought I'd be straightforward and honest with you" and this is what he said back - "hey I appreciate the honesty and will be straightforward with you. I don't really have any interest in long distance relationships and friendships or otherwise. I find them very tedious & a lot of work. I know that might sound harsh but I don't mean anything personal by it. You seem nice and I wish you well but that's how I feel :/" do you he sounded genuine, like he actually felt bad? Or was he just trying to be nice?
Question: I think I'm falling for a married man.? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 07:35 AM PST I started working for a company two years ago and met said man. I thought he was attractive right away. But, I switched to the night shift and barely saw him. Then 4 months ago I switched back to day shift and started seeing him all the time. Our departments work closely together. We became friends on Facebook and started chatting everyday. I thought this is great having a friend at work. However we started playing an online game together and he revealed he finds me really attractive and I'm special to him. At first I was shocked but flattered. I told him I was flattered but he's married so we can only be friends. Looking back at our interactions I should have seen it but I'm so use to guys not noticing me I didn't realize. We still work together and play the game. I should stop playing the game and unfollow him on Facebook. But, I'm a terrible person because I realized I want to talk to him all the time. Sometimes during the chat feature we talk for hours. How do I stop without losing a friend and not creating a awkward work environment?

Question: What do you do with Family&Friends who never support/care for you on social media&off? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 06:21 AM PST Like, probably the only two people who truly have ever listened, and cared for me is my Mom&Boyfriend. You might ask, "well, have you done anything that would make friends or family to dislike you in any way?" And no, I'm caring and nice to everyone. I can get awkward at times. But, That isn't a problem. Just, whenever I say something to family or friends they won't really care. Okay now, for social media. Whenever I post something literally no one likes it but my mom or boyfriend. And it really hurts me when my boyfriend tags me in something and his friends like it and says cute thigs about it. And mine, none. I don't get it. It feels like I ahould delete these people on social media and from my life. Even if there's two left. But seriously..?! I don't get it to be honest.

Posted: 10 Nov 2016 05:44 AM PST So I m 16 and my father is an alcoholic mother is delusional but she works hard. I am the middle child and I think I ve fallen for this man. He s intelligent and he is successful. He s really good looking even though he is older than both my parents. I know it sounds sick or whatever but I really want to give myself up to him. All we do is cuddle and talk. it s illegal so he s worried about that and doesn t want to do anything sexual until I m 17. He s so attentive and sweet and when we talk it s like my day lights up. I was a little weirded out in the beginning, I mean he was honest and open about his age and his relationship status, but idk i still really like him and i want to be with him. He s got a really amazing job and he s brilliant too which I love that he s not a loser. I am very intelligent so it s nice to have intellegent conversations about the arts and literature. I ve always thought myself as older, I have a woman s body and i am far more intellegent and I don t want to go to parties and drink myself till I m sick, like other teenagers. I like to study and work hard and I want to be successful in my life. I don t expect him to leave his wife or family, like we were friends in the beginning. My current father has abused my family and cheated on my mother. It s just this guy is so educated and refined and he takes care of me really well. He tells me we don t have to have sex or anything if I m not ready emotionally.

Question: Dad and his gf having sex? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 12:58 AM PST So my dad, his gf, and I went grocery shopping yesterday, and my dad bought a lube and two boxes of Trojan condoms. It freaked me out. Then, his girlfriend slept over, and I went to check the boxes this morning, and three condoms was gone. Obviously, they had sex last night right after we got home. Our wood floor was shaking, and I could hear them breathe. I think they were trying to be quiet, but it didn't work. It's just weird, I don't want them having sex. What should I do??
Posted: 09 Nov 2016 11:43 PM PST So I was walking with a couple of my floormates and our other floormates saw us and yelled hi to the others but not me. They know my name and I've never been rude to them, so why would they just ignore me? I don't know them that well, but neither to the people I was with so this confuses me. Also, some of you might say I probably did something to offend them, but I assure you I have really done nothing to upset them.

Posted: 09 Nov 2016 09:40 PM PST So since i was little the government has been sending me a check for $700 but ofcourse my parents would keep it and spend it on ramdom stuff and they don t give me money from the check. Now that i have turned 18 they still send me the check, and I though of keeping just one of the checks since i m 18 i can cash it but i feel wrong for doing that, even though the checks are written for me |

Posted: 09 Nov 2016 08:36 PM PST I had a procedure done recently (I'm okay.) so my friend Janet (she's 45 and I am 18) calls to check up on me, FYI we are very close, she's been an adult role model and close personal friend of mine... anyway she never calls. Of course she asked how I was, if I was okay etc.. then she started just skipping around subjects talking about her family, recent troubles of hers, problems that have occurred, telling stories of when she was little, about how she misses her parents who past etc.. even about her procedure coming up and what the doctors wanted to do. don't get me wrong it was a great long talk, I listened and helped any way I could, giving her all my attention. I understand people need to vent or need advice but why come to me? I'm just an 18 year old. Or at least that's how I see myself.. I later that day sent her flowers to show my love and support. I plan on calling her before her procedure to make sure she's okay. But why would she tell me such personal things? .. should I call her before her procedure ?

Question: How to deal with when your ex has slept with someone else but youre back together now? Posted: 09 Nov 2016 05:26 PM PST i and my gf are back together but something is bother me when we broke up she got new bf right after our break up,ofcorse I was begging her to come back and i was all heartbroken couldn;t work normaly because i was so badly heartbroken that every 10 minutes i had to hid somewhere at work to cry. she been with her bf at least 1 month and then they broke up she wrote me she loves me and wants everything back and i ofcourse got back with her then i asked her like did they had sex and she said yes and it was so painful to hear for sure she was single and i understood that with time i thought i can live with this i tried not to think about this and i was really supportive to her everything was perfect but time to time it just pops in my brain that she has slept with someone else and it hurts me badly i don't know why but sometimes it hurts so bad i have to cry,I have no idea why sometimes i am over obbsessed with that she slept with someone else and i'm not telling her about how i feel about this sometimes because we've been speaking about this million times and i just don't want to annoy her i just want this feeling to go away.
Question: Help dealing with a coach that doesn't like you? Posted: 09 Nov 2016 04:27 PM PST Background: I play tennis, so did my 2 other brothers. My two older brothers played #1 and #2 varsity and were really good, but I'm not as good as them, and I've been playing on junior varsity. Not big deal right? But I guess it is to him, because he says hi to everyone and gives everyone high fives and just pays no attention to me, like he'll be in a line giving everyone high fives and he just skips me and doesn't even make eye contact with me. The only time he will even acknowledge me is if he has to tell me something important for a tournament or something. It also happens that I'm not doing too well in a class, just barely failing it with a 67 or so. A lot of my tennis friends tell me how they are failing a class too and yet he never pulls them aside or anything, when he pulls me aside he has this mean look on his face and asks "Grades?" and I just have to say its a hard class, hes done this 3 times now and I give him the same answer every time. He only does this to me, I've asked my friends. Overall I just feel so irrelevant in his mind because I'm not like my brothers and I need help dealing with it (I've just tried avoiding him for now). I probably sound stupid because I don't have the best examples but if you were me you would catch along real quick so I want real advice. Another example is that whenever one of my teammates hits a good shot he usually says "Nice shot Josh" or something like that. But when I hit a really good shot and he's watching he just looks the other way. I've seen him. It really does get on my nerves sometimes
