Posted: 10 Nov 2016 05:22 PM PST So, my I have two friends, Everett and Payton. (Payton is a boy.) Me and Payton got in a fight. He hit me in the face, hopefully by accident, and I wanted some space. I sat down in the grass. He started playing ball with other kids in my neighborhood. I sat there. He kept on saying he needed me on his team. I ignored him. He later said he thought I just wanted attention. He told me he wanted to make me feel the pain I do to him and my friend. He says I do this "roar" thing and slightly hugs them, and it hurts a bit sometimes. (Basically saying I deserved it, not even sorry.) I started crying, cause I couldn't stand him. He does this all the time. He always does bad stuff and acts like he has no idea what I'm talking about. He started calling me a jerk when I said he doesn't understand feelings, at least mine, and calls me a jerk and stupid. I just sat there, crying. He started crying (for some reason?) and told all my friends there presumably bad things (whispering). He told his parents, and now he's probably going to tell my best friend Everett. (he always does and gets Everett mad at me, he's breaking us apart). So, what do I do now?
Question: Rude guy in pe class? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 05:20 PM PST Okay whenever I talk to my friend about something, Randy (for example), says "WILL YOU PLEASE STOP?" and whenever I laugh at a joke outloud, he tells me to stop. Every little thing I do, he gets snappy. I am a girl and I talk to my friend about makeup, and he just says "Shut up!". Like I cant move cause it s my pe spot.
Question: Should I have a birthday party? If so where? Please read entire question!? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 05:11 PM PST Ok so I'm a boy and I'm turning 17 soon. I didn't have a birthday party for the last two years but I kind of miss it. I remember having pool parties at my house with my friends and we would all have a good time. The first question is whether I should even have a party. I would invite maybe 3 or 4 school friends and 2 kids in my neighborhood. The thing is my school friends don't know my neighborhood friends and I have never done anything outside of school related activities with my school friends so would they find it weird me inviting them? Second is if I had a party where could I have it at this age? I wouldn't do like a party, probably bowling a movie or laser tag. But again I'm worried cause I've never done anything with my school friends outside of school.
Question: Why do I have trouble hanging out with people? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 05:02 PM PST whenever my friends want to hang out with me I almost always come up with an excuse like I'm seeing a play with my grandma or something. idk why bc I like them for the most part but the second they want to hand out after school I become so incredibly lazy and don't want to. or if I do force myself I end up feeling kinda annoyed bc I didn't want to. right now my friend is pretty posses I'm not hanging out with her this weekend. I do have plans but she's not buying it. what do I do? I've explained before how I just don't like to hang out with people but then she just plays it off. I'm anymore guys.
Posted: 10 Nov 2016 05:01 PM PST So something very terrible happened to my classmate today (I'm not getting into it). This person is also on a sports team of mine but he said he quit for now and may come back later. I was not friends with this kid and I never liked him (for reasons I'm not explaining) Let's get to the point, I told my sports team what had happen that day. This kid was obviously mentally unstable. I later told my mom that I told my team about. She got very angry at me. So I probably sounded snarky when I said it (that is how I talk). Did I screw up? Should I of kept it to myself? Please help. I don't want it to cross as bullying because it most likely is
Question: Does this guy like me or feel uncomfortable around me?? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 04:59 PM PST Okay there is this guy that is really social at my school and he speaks to everyone! Even if he doesn't tend to speak to that person or he just met someone. Doesn't matter. But i don't why he is quiet around me. He isn't witty and doesn't usually try speaking to me, even when I am with my group of friends. People generally like me and I am usually nice. I'm also quiet but not shy. I'm not intimidating. People view me as this angel (which tends to get annoying). So does he like me? Or is he just comfortable being around me? This confuses me because he speaks to everyone like kids, adults, ppl that are older, doesnt matter, but not me... Please help.
Question: Why does my friend turn rude when something bad happens to other people?? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 04:56 PM PST I have been friends with him for a long time (let's call him Mark), a great guy but he makes me so angry sometimes. A mutual friend of ours grandfather was dying, and while we both gave help to our mutual friend, if I said anything that didn't involve grieving for the loss of our friend he would get angry at me and call me shallow. I was bringing up world events in a normal conversation and he started calling me an ignorant shallow child (I'm in my mid twenties btw) but the audacity of him? Like political violence of beating random supporters brutally wasn't serious to him it was shallow political stuff, like compared to a tragedy of a death of a FRIENDS grandfather (not even his and never knew) I am not allowed to complain about things at all. I get that a family death is more important than a political event or a game. But it doesn't mean I can't talk about anything other then the death. Like, how do I explain to him that he is acting rediculas, like give me a mock text to send because I can't explain what to say exactly. There is no reason I should be treated like crap every time something like this happens, any person he sees who is dying effects him, but he seems to be feeling worse then the friend himself.
Question: Girls who drive would you have done this? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 04:38 PM PST I just got back from dropping my friend off at her house. Since it was warm out and I did not get out of my car I drove in my bare feet and did not bring my shoes.
Question: Why do the teenagers at my school pick on the slower kid? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 04:27 PM PST I go to a really rich, pompous school. All the students get their eyebrows done, new cars, perfect hair, etc. I really hate it. One of the students in my grade is really... slow. Her mother used drugs in the womb. Everyday, I see people making fun of her, looking over her shoulder, laughing at her. Why are they so obsessed with her? I talk to her and Im nice to her, I smile and support her. No one else does. Even her best friend has dropped her and is really mean to her. Why do they pick on her?
Question: How can I comfort my friend ? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 03:54 PM PST My friend is pregnant with her brothers baby she's been really depressed the last few days. Today she was different she was happy but yesterday she was sad. She and her brother are in love they wante to have a kid together. She was crying at work yesterday I gave her a hug and held her a while I didn't bother asking her what was wrong she was too upset to talk. We went to the break room for a while so she could calm down. When we got home she cried herself to sleep last night. She seems to be better today even though she's happy she's still kind of depressed. She wants to sleep with me tonight. How can I comfort her ? What should I say to her ?
Question: Why do I feel so lonely? Why is it hard to find a friend group to fit into? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 03:49 PM PST HI, Im having a hard time, I'm a very open girl, independent ,and confident. Im by no means antisocial , I love talking with people, and supporting others. But Im also very different compared to other girls, Im not one to be a giggly girl that laughs at everything, but Im by no means a serious person either, Im usually the class clown, however I feel I don't have a close group of friends. I know alot of people, I can talk with just about everyone, Im my own person, yet I find myself alone. Im always asking people to hang out, but no one asks me if I want to hang out. I feel like Im always the one starting up conversations with my friends, or trying to keep the convo going. Is it me being the problem or just other people being antisocial? Am I overthinking this? I guess I've been a little messed up due to my last relationship with a guy not ending well but I just dont know what to do. I dont want to stop tryng to be friends with people or change who I am. Im not big on expressing my personal issues outloud to people becaues Im usually busy trying to support others and stay positive. If someone could just try to help me, assure me that my personality isnt the issue , or just lighten my mood, Id be really greatful.
| Question: There is this girl who thinks I'm her best friend.? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 03:45 PM PST She bullies me and then claims she didn't, We GOT in a fight and she ruined everyone's halloweens, then she asked me to be honest and asked if we are still friends (we weren't ever but anyways) and I said no. | Question: Alien? Brains connected? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 03:34 PM PST So here is the story....You ready? I have a friend, well, best friend, well, more than best friend, more like mega ultra super maybe take a bullet best friend.. Any who, One night my friend and I had the exact same dream. It was a strange dream indeed... One that may not be best to tell. Since we believe we are being studied. Well then. for some odd reason, we always do, send, say the exact same thing. Kinda to a point where we shock each other. Are we being experimented on? BY ALIENS?!?!?! But if so, I must say they've done a good job. Btw. My friend can turn off lights with her mind (IM NOT JOKING.) But, believe as you will. My question is, why do we do this? Thank you for your answers. |
| Question: Why is it OK for women to go out together but not men? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 03:16 PM PST Like I see women go out together and have dinner together, shop, cuddle or other things but when it comes to men having dinner together or going out together people thinks that's gay why is that? | Question: I have nothing to do on the weekends and I'm a Jr. In Highschool.? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 03:06 PM PST Is it bad that I have nothing to do? Is it bad I feel left out or bad that I don't have any plans? |
Posted: 10 Nov 2016 02:57 PM PST It was out of character for this friend to do it as when he died he was spoken of as someone who never spoke ill of others (so lying must not have been a common habit). I think he lied by accident (getting two people mixed up) but still a lie is a lie regardless of the intent. This friend died 2 years ago. When I got the email he had died I was glad. I have pretty much dropped it since. But, what I just in hating this man since it was a family member he lied about (this man was not related, just the husband of my Mom's friend).
Question: Should I Be Mad At Friend? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 02:48 PM PST Im a 27 year old woman and at University, I went to a friend's graduation, and i made friends with her for years all while we are there, she has finished now, i have another year to go. At her graduation, she mentioned me in her speech, she actually came out as lesbian in her speech and she thanked me for helping her come out as i was one of the few she had told, and she mentioned me and my wife, which basically outed me as lesbian. I am lesbian and i got married last year after a long time dating and both my wife and i were invited to my friend's graduation. I am not really out at University, i am out to family, friends, co workers at work etc but not at University, it is in the next town to where i live so no one i know goes there, no one there knew i was a lesbian, i just dont discuss my personal life with people i know from university, my friend was the only person i told there, my wife doesnt go to that University so i have no real reason to tell anyone there. Should i be mad at my friend for outting me?
Question: Why do people do this? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 02:48 PM PST Why is it when a person is upset or talks about their problems, people try to make them feel worse?

There was also this other new girl last year and she's friend with everyone and all the guys like her and (I'm not trying to sound mean I swear) but she really isn't that attractive.. | Question: Why doesn't my best friend start a conversation? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 01:59 PM PST So me and my best friend had a little arguement yesterday. We talked it out and it was all completely fine. Today she kept texting me and it seemed like nothing happened. For the past few hours she has been really silent and whenever i text her, she responds with a short answer (for example: yes or no). Does anybody know what is going on? Maybe beacuse we normally talk AL LOT that she doesn't want to talk or something? Please let me know. Thank you. |
| Question: Why cant I get along with anybody? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 01:47 PM PST I am 18 yrs old guy with social anxiety. I had only one closest friend but I had fight with him, We dont talk anymore. | Question: Some one tried stabbing be at school? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 01:28 PM PST This morning I was in the bathroom and two kids stormed in banging on my bathroom door and swissing a knife that was about 7 inches. I don't really talk to anyone nor do I know them. Is this a normal high school thing? I didn't report them because they ran off and plus, I didn't want to come out because they probably would've stabbed me. I'm a freshman at midwood btw. there are no cameras at school but the staff does a great job in keeping the school safe, I was in the bathroom before my classes started so... I couldn't report them because I was on the toilet and I didn't see them. There are over 4000 kids in my school so what are the chances of the staff finding them I bet half the kids in the school have weapons but never take them out. Just an assumption, I'm not saying it's true |
Question: What should my friend and I do after school? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 01:16 PM PST So my friend and I are in 8th grade and are making a bucket list of things to do before the end of the year. We need to do something between 2:20 and 3:40. It would have to be pretty cheap, since we can't get jobs yet. Do you have any ideas?

Question: My friend is acting stalker-ish with her crush and keeps denying it? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 12:52 PM PST She stalks his instagram, found all of his social media (including the ones that he hasn t used for years), found and keeps a bunch of pictures of him on her phone, somehow found out what music he listens to and started listening to that to see what he likes, got his yearbook picture from before she went to his school and has it saved, stalks him in the halls/every class she has with him, and she s trying to figure out his schedule. Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit obsessive?
Question: Need help with a minor in an abusive household? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 12:44 PM PST I have a friend, she's 15. Her current guardian(Not her actual blood mother) is taking care of her and they're causing a lot of problems. My friend is basically locked in her room, doesnt get a lot of food, the guardian yells at her and threatens her constantly for no real reason. She's a good kid, but the guardian just seems to like to take her anger out on this kid and it seems like it may start getting physical. She talked to her school, DCF came and interviewed a family member. They also talked to my friend about it. My friend is obviously very depressed, this isn't the first time she's had to live with other family members or family friends due to her parents dying and she can't handle being with these people anymore. Me and another friend are a possibility as new places to live but DCF only wants to give her counseling and keep her in the house. Just want to know really if there's anything we can do to legally get her out of there and living with one of us. Please please help.

Question: Did we do something wrong with my daughter's tutor? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 11:46 AM PST I got a note from the school that my 16 year old daughter Lisa was failing math and they recommended a tutor to help her. They sent a list of tutors home with Lisa and I started calling them. All of the tutors were very expensive. Being a single mom, I just could not afford them. I knew a family friend that I thought knew enough math to tutor her and I hoped he would be a lot cheaper. His name was Bill and he was a college senior. I called Bill and asked him if he would tutor Lisa and he agreed to do if for free. He was a great guy for doing this for her. He did tutor Lisa for 3 months. When Lisa got her grade card, she got an A in math. We were both VERY HAPPY and asked Bill go come over so we could tell him the GREAT NEWS. When we told him Lisa's math grade he said that is wonderful news. Lisa told Bill she had to thank him for his help so she kissed him. After she was through kissing him Bill turned to me and said "your turn". I was so excited I kissed him also. We all had a good laugh and a group hug. Bill said "if you need any more help with school subjects, just call me". Some of my friends that I told about this told me what we did was not appropriate and that Bill would get the wrong idea. My take on this is that if Bill was happy and my daughter and I were happy, there is no problem. We were just having fun. What do you think? Did we do something wrong?
Question: Would this be the dumbest thing I can do? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 11:42 AM PST My girlfriend Amy is going away to college. She and her single mom Ann will be separated for the first time ever. They were VERY CLOSE. She knows her mom will be VERY lonely when she is gone. She wants her mom to start dating again. Ann has not had a man in her life for 11 years since her husband was killed in a plane crash. Ann is terrified to start dating. Amy wants me to take Ann on some "practice dates" so she will get over her fear of dating. She wants me to show her what dating is like now with one exception. NO SEX. Amy said it would be too weird for me to have sex with her Mom. Amy thinks these practice dates will give Ann the confidence to overcome her fear of dating. I have never dated a women Ann's age but I guess I would treat here just like any date and try to show her a good time. Ann thinks this is a great idea because she trusts me and knows I respect her and I will do what is best for her and Amy. I like to help people when I can but I am wondering if there are some problems ahead if I do this that I do not foresee.
Question: What are the most girly/embarrassing things a guy can be forced to do? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 11:41 AM PST I lost a bet to a girl and anything commented here I have to do. (She's making me write this) Any ideas?

Question: My friends are weak and complain all the time, what should I do? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 10:41 AM PST We're a group of friends, but I feel like it's almost turned into a therapy group at this point. My friends talk about their problems (which, I should note, are valid problems) almost constantly and it's getting just frustrating, and all the fun is being sucked out of our friendship. There are a couple people, including me, that don't complain, but the others that don't complain are really supportive and sympathetic toward the people that do complain. I'm just tired of their constant whining but I feel obligated to keep faking sympathy. What should I do, stop being friends with them? Also I've already told them they can always feel free to vent, so I refuse to change my mind and tell them to stop.

Question: Is it bad to date someone at work? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 09:52 AM PST I'm at my first real job out of college and I'm starting to get to know some of the people I work with. Theres this girl in one of the divisions that I've been talking to a bit. She introduced herself to me during my first day and we've been talking and texting almost every day. So anyway, I like her and I think she likes me too. We went out to a bar by work and talked yesterday and it was awesome. We just talked about our backgrounds, families, hobbie, etc. Nothings happend but we've agreed to hang out this weekend again. Right now I'm just wondering if I should pursue it or not. Shes been real cool and chatty with me since we met and Im just nervous about what to do next. I know this isnt a lot to go on, but should I pursue it? Or just let things be? P.s. we do NOT work directly together or with the same people.
Question: Is it good to be straight forward? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 09:50 AM PST
Posted: 10 Nov 2016 09:36 AM PST I've been told countless times that my questions are not really questions, but statements. Half the time, responders will say this even when I am in fact asking a question. But really....why does anyone care? Why is it so important to them that people follow the rules down to the very letter? Is it because they are nerds who can't get girls, so they want to feel superior and powerful, in any meaningless, pathetic way that they can? I just do what the hell I want to on the internet because it's supposed to be FUN!!

Question: My friend teases me? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 09:09 AM PST My friend and I tease each other a lot, but lately they have been saying a lot of things that I don't exactly find humorous. She's been jokingly telling me that "I'm dumb" and that I should "kill myself". I haven't said anything about it, because I know she's joking and I don't want to start a huge argument over something like this, but it's beginning to hurt my feelings. I remember helping out another friend of mines, as she was going through a tough time and wanted to speak to someone/have someone support them about it, and I did the best I could. After a while, my friend came in and said "you're bad" and basically went in to talk to that person (I'm sorry if that part was confusing; I'd rather not give out their names). I know she's joking and would never mean it seriously, but it's getting to me and starting to hurt my feelings. Should I ask her to stop or ignore it and let it continue? I'm a "professional" when it comes to ignoring people, but like I said, it's getting to me. I just don't want to start a huge argument over this one thing. I'm sorry if I sound too sensitive.
Posted: 10 Nov 2016 09:01 AM PST Yesterday we had a group work. Every group had to have it's leader. Generally i am not shy but when we had to choose a leader i kinda became humble. Finally other members of our group chose me(they almost chose other one because of my shyness), but still, whenever i am involved in that kinda project, when we have to choose leader i don't say that i want to be one i just wait for others to choose me. I think that otherwise my friends are going to think that i am selfish and only think about myself. That question sounds kinda stupid but is there any way to become a leader but don't make upset others??
Question: Just wondering what you think? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 08:49 AM PST My friend has been going through a hellll of a lot lately. I just got out of a procedure and she's about to go into one. She's been under stress and enduring so very much. I'm always sending encouraging words and checking in on her, sending her picture quotes and reminding her that she is strong and all will be okay. I even sent her flowers the other day to show I'm here for her. She shows he same support to me but I know she needs it more. Seeing her struggle is worrying me, I just want her to be well and have good health. I pray for her constantly. What more should I do? It upsets me seeing her go through so much. I want to call her before her procedure to check in on her. I'm definitely going to but am I showing too much care? I feel like it will make me look weird? It's stressing me seeing her like this, help?

Question: My family is fighting with me? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 07:59 AM PST I've had a lot of stress from homework overload and my family fighting with me. I'm a high school senior currently. I've been having problems with people being passive aggressive to me and mean to my friends in one of my elective classes. The teacher knows about it, but he's such a pushover he won't do anything about it. I asked my parents about switching to a different class, but they won't let me. They're saying, "if you can't handle an easy elective class in high school you can't handle college and you'll be a failure." I know people are going to be rude in college too, but I'm not worried about them or how I'll handle it, I know college and class is more important. But this elective class in high school isn't important. It's not required and I don't want to be there anymore. My parents say they don't want to enable me into an easy life where I won't know how to handle difficult people. I already do outside of this elective class, I have no problems there but they don't believe me. I feel like I'm not listened to or taken seriously when they tell me to buck up and tough out another year when I'm having real, legitimate problems with people bullying me and my friends in this course I don't even like anymore. I would just like some feedback if I'm being too sensitive and if my parents are right, or if I should be taken more seriously by them. Thank you.
Question: What would you say ? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 07:58 AM PST Ok so I have been missing a few day of uni And I keep asking a friend ( not exactly a friend we just knew each other in school )what happened that day I was absent( just briefly )and if we had any home work .And one day i ask her but instead she replies " come to class yourself and find out your self . Isn't that a little too harsh ? Should she ask Why I'm not coming ? I know it's my own fault I accept that fact this is the first thing I thought when u read her message but... My sister was in the same class as her in school and she used to be absent in a specific subject most of the time and she used to message my sister to send her pics if the notes she took . Again I know it's my fault for not atte ding class but she used to do the same thing .

Question: Fight with a "best friend" ? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 06:57 AM PST So i've had this "best friend" for about 3 years and last year i understood that she was fake as hell she is passive-aggressive and most of the time for no reason she is jealous of me and she always killed my self esteem she is basically a bully so yesterday I saw her status and it was " I hate fake people so much " this made me so angry so i made my status "when people complain about something they are themselves" so now this other girl which is a friend of my "best friend" said on our classes group chat if anyone has a problem with ....... talk to me and now all the girls on the group are like what happened what is going on
Question: Don't want to ruin relationship, any help? Posted: 10 Nov 2016 06:50 AM PST One of my best friends happens to be a girl. We have always joked around, had fun, I have always had her back, helped her out with things, bought her things because she couldn't afford them etc. I guess I always sort of saw her as a sister. However, she just recently got into a relationship, and the guy she is dating, she truly loves and cares about. I was very happy for her, I have always listened to the times she would tell me how guys crushed her, and it was good to hear that she found someone she liked and liked her back. The problem though, is that the guy is extremely jealous... extremely. The thing is, my female friend, whenever we are hanging out, says she's hanging out with a friend. Never introduced me, or gave my name, which makes me nervous, and he's catching on a bit. I'm afraid that he'll think something is going on, or that he'll break up with her for not telling him the truth, and I couldn't bear to see that. She doesn't want to introduce me, because she said if she did, he would likely get upset and that things wouldn't pan out well. I so badly don't want to ruin the relationship, but I feel like me being in the equation at all is going to mess something up. Should I grow distant apart? At least for a while?

I fed them a couple of times cause its like my friend leaves and what I thought to forget to feed them so I told her about it now I notice again she's gone without feeding this and now I'm believing she's being lazy and not wanting to do it cause she always leaves the house in a mess sits drinks her juice and every day she leaves the cups piled up in the sane location I end up having to clean up for her because I hate a mess and we are both 31. Right Now its too costly to get my own place so I don't know what to do? |
