Question: Is this a good idea for a gift? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 03:45 PM PST My girlfriend wants a puppy but I can't because her parents won't let her. My idea was to get her a stuffed animal of a dog. Is it a good idea? |
Question: Husband forcing me to visit his parents, what to do? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 02:36 PM PST My husband's mother and I cant stand each other. She makes it a point to favor the girlfriend of her teen son, despite the fact that I am her other sons wife and we have 2 kids together. She wont answer her phone when I try to call about Thanksgiving (my husband wants to visit them in the evening) and he told me that I will go to their house, no questions asked. Our old therapist told him that he is capable of visiting them himself and cannot force me to go if I dont want to. He is trying to and says the therapist is wrong. What is right? |
Question: Will my ex always be this way? Should I give up & try to be friends? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 02:33 PM PST We split 7 months ago, but we're not seeing anyone. He still wants to sleep with me, hold hands, cuddle on the sofa & in bed, (seen him 3 times since we broke up), and do affectionate things like stroke my face & smell my hair & make breakfast. He tells me it's sad & strange to see my face. He said he'd make me something for xmas. He still has my rose body cream by his shower, which he brought to his new flat even though we hadn't spoken then. When I first met him he said he never likes anyone & kept saying what am I gonna do with you. Now I know that he meant he doesn't want to be responsible for anyone & isn't used to being in a relationship. He's 33 soon though so probably won't change. I text him after that night & misunderstood his reply. He said it was the perfect night & I just didn't understand his text. We don't talk much, but when I went to return his bag, he said now I have no excuse to see you again. I'm going to put something in your bag. He also wanted me to take home the shirt I slept in because he said it looks nice on me. When I said I can't keep seeing you like this, he asked me to go for drinks. He never talks about feelings so I never know where I stand. He has no family around him (broken family, mum died young), & told me once they didn't really talk about feelings. He even put me as his next of kin. He may be depressed because he sleeps a lot or works extra days on weekends. I still have feelings for him though. Should I wish him happy birthday? He never did for me, when he felt rejected I didn't want to see him. He hates birthdays & xmas because he feels alone. Last year he was happy I was there with him. |

But When some else calls him to talk to him or something,: Instant Response Please be advise that when I mean call I am not talking about a phone or computer but physically call him. |
Question: Is it weird that I cried when my niece was born? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 11:17 AM PST Holding her for the first time brouggt tears to my eyes. I am a 22 yr old woman. |
Question: Should I cut off all communication ? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 10:23 AM PST my very close friend (she s 50 and I am 18) she s been an adult role model and close personal friend mine. She called to check up @ Of course she asked how I was, if I was okay etc.. then she started skipping around subjects talking about her family, troubles, problems occurring, stories of when she was little, about how she misses her parents etc. her procedure. it was a great long talk, I listened and gave her all my attention. I understand people need to vent or need advice but why come to me? That day I sent her flowers to show my love and support. It s been stressing me seeing her go through so much, I want her to be alright and have great health. She s always so supportive to me. We both always send encouraging texts, she s always liking all of my social media posts, we send inspirational stuff to each other, etc.. We re very close. She s a very blunt lady and will tell you like it is. She s always giving me compliments, telling me how amazing I am, so I take it to heart. But she s never really said if I ve helped her. I do all things with love and expect nothing in return but I wish I knew if I was a help to her or if I am doing something good. Sometimes I feel useless like I ve done nothing good for her. Do you think I ve helped? Ive started to feel embarrassed inside, like I m being TO loving or caring and I feel she isn t liking it. So I ve been quiet lately and haven t talked to her much, save myself more embarrassment. Should I just block/unfriend her? |

Question: What are some basic things you should have achieved by the age 25? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 08:26 AM PST |
Posted: 18 Nov 2016 08:13 AM PST When we argue my husband yells, curses or gives me the silent treatments. He had a rough past from childhood. I didn't know it was this bad until we got married. I walk around on eggshells scared to make him upset. He's starts belittling me in front of others over stupid things. The last time he was upset over Pizza I cursed out & yelled at. I keep begging him to go to counseling he's told me he doesn't want to change or he couldn't because I'm emotional which I have depression & am going to Doctor. I also am have diabetes. I'm stressed because I'm afraid he will spend all our bill money. I paid all the bills cook clean and work take of our dog. Which he claims he too tired to do or he stands up at work all day. He throws in my face that I work less hours & sit alot at work. The worst is the yelling and cursing last he will even yell at our at dog. My nephew and niece are 3-2years old. He yells curses at them or makes rude remarks when I him to stop. He also calls my niece fat she is 2 years old. He's making the horrible comments about her. I ask him to stop. I stopped inviting family or friends over because of him. They want to be around him either. I'm not a perfect wife I nag, I have health problems & emotional. I can't connect with him emotional level. He's never wants to spend time with me or the puppy My parents beg me to leave but we been together a long time plus our anniversary is coming up. My parents won't take in the dog & he abusive to her as well. |
Question: What does the wink mean? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 08:05 AM PST I was winked at by a man, a supervisor/acquaintance of mine, last week. Some context. We've only known each other for a few months, but I was immediately attracted to him (and probably very bad at hiding it - there may have been some accidental flirting on my part). He's happily married, has a kid, is old enough to be my father etc. so there is no way either of us would ever pursue any sort of relationship with one another. But basically, I've only ever known winking to be out of attraction. I had just turned eighteen and dressed differently that day (in a low-cut, summer dress). I caught his eye and smiled as we passed each other, he smiled back and winked without saying a word. Is it something men not-from-my-generation do to replace 'hi?' Is it a European thing? I can't work it out. |
Question: How to ask a therapist for an interview with them last minute for a paper? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 07:31 AM PST It's really hard to ask people who are busy for an interview, because either they ignore my emails or can only meet with me for short sessions and can't fit time in their schedule to meet again, or my schedule doesn't work with their schedule. I need to find another one now, and I feel like I should ask therapists for 'on-the-phone' interviews, but I thought that was too impersonal before. I have 4 days until it's due. How an I ask a therapist without seeming too stand-offish and like I'm just using their personal information and career life for a paper and don't care about the person at all? |
Posted: 18 Nov 2016 06:45 AM PST so technically this is what happened, so i had to do this project for school and it was due today, i wanted to do it yesterday but then i fell asleep (i don't know why but im usually tired all the time no matter what) then i woke up realizing it was 6:45 and then i had to start but i was freaking out so i had to use my sisters school laptop for her powerpoint because my laptop doesnt have it and i have no account for it but then she had to go to school and she needs that laptop, after that i tried to see if i could do something and then microsoft said if you want to edit for something then learn more and it brought me to the powerpoint thing and then i could have done the powerpint so i was doing the project while freaking out at the same time and then guess what happened by accident i clicked the x on the right top corner and it deleted everything just gone now i told my mom my plan and to do it again and go to school really late to give it to her because if i dont go to school and give it that's already 30 points off but im so tired right now and i know im the dumbest person like oh do it right now but and dont waste your energy well i have no choice i cant think properly because of my anxiety i have right now and how tired i am (btw im sorry if you dont get this story because im making no sense right now) i just dont know what to do this project is pretty important and i dont want to be that person that goes no where in life help and i feel so bad i will take all of the responsibility for my actions i know this is all my fault |
Posted: 18 Nov 2016 06:43 AM PST When a married, Christian man will not mention his wife around you and always rolls his eyes when he does. Will also anytime he does mention all the facts like how she reminds him if the mistakes he's made and how he doesn't like how she's "let herself go" and does not like being around her when she comes in and will flirt with you when she is around. after he told me all those things he came over and just stared at me with this admiring look in his eyes. He would t stop contact with me. He also will not mention her or be near her in public. its been said he even acts like that in church. I looked at some pics of them long before we met and they were always posting thibgs of them together. Now they don't do it. Also both her and his fb page have been set to private. hers never was and you can even ask him to be his friend hers you can. So why would he like me? |
Posted: 18 Nov 2016 06:40 AM PST My mother is 42 has 4 kids aged 15-21. She also has a kid on the way and was gonna get married, but it didn't work out. She is attractive, but doesn't pay much attention to a guy's appearance, but has trouble finding a husband. She thinks its because she has so many kids. But we're all pretty much grown have jobs and cars. Its not like he'd have to parent us, we'd just be friends. Even before she was pregnant its been like that. Are you guys reluctant to marry a woman because you're afraid the kids won't like you and be hostile or because you don't want the responsibility? With us all the help with the baby its not much as a responsibility. I'm just trying to see your point of view. The 4 kids are from her first marriage. Her first husband( my dad) wanted a divorce and he treated her terribly. She takes relationships seriously and doesn't mess around. She was going to marry her fiance, but at the last moment and she backed out. The baby was unintentional. He didn't treat her badly, but due to his previous lifestyle he may not live a long life. His problems are weighing her down its for a good reason they didn't marry. She believed that only he was the few guys that would accept her because of her many kids. I wonder if guys are really that put off by that or is she paranoid? I'd say that she is a good wife. She often cooked and cared for her fiance. I'll keep that in mind for marketing when she's ready to start looking again. Her fiance had mutual feelings about not getting married, so it wasn't one sided |
Question: My coworkers keep making fun of my husband and I don't know what to do? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 06:01 AM PST I'm 19 and my husband is 22. We met at work so all of my coworkers know him. I work full time and he is a stay at home dad but he works from home and goes to school online too. All of the guys and even some of the girls I work with make fun of him because he stays home with our son. It's getting to me because he's an amazing dad and he makes almost as much money as me but they make it seem like he can't get a job or he can't provide for us. I know I shouldn't care what other people think but it really gets to me. Spoke to my boss about it without naming anyone and he just acted like I didn't even say anything. I don't want to start any conflict so what should I do? |
Question: Do women think I'm ugly? Posted: 18 Nov 2016 03:54 AM PST So I asked a couple of guys maybe yesterday if they thought I was ugly they said yes and didn't have to check to see. Back in May this 21 yr old called me sexy in front of her parents and I'd consistently hear her tell her mom how cute I am. And a couple of my class mates females they'd say hi to me out of nowhere which is weird because it seemed they thought I was an idiot I was working out back than. I got back to working out again it's going well I do it for this cute Arabian girl I think she's a senior I'm 17 a junior. Strangers on Instagram will comment saying I'm cute or an inspiration and one of those big booty girl accounts basically a THOT liked a few of my shirtless pictures I tagged her in them and she Unliked them I was trying to do a subliminal. I'm known for being a simp I put women on the pedestal and instead of love making I'd rather shower with gifts and feed you grapes and paint pictures of you I guess I'm stupid like that. I know a few girls have had crushes on me. But that's just a few. I just want somebody. The 21 yr old, I was the other guy and she ignored my texts for like a month and she finally offered to help me but it was too late |

Question: Why do people ask me why im not married really annoying.? Posted: 17 Nov 2016 03:41 PM PST |
Question: Hate having a big heart ? Posted: 17 Nov 2016 12:43 PM PST My schedule involves only 4 morning classes. I can barley get through those 4 classes without going to the nurse. My eyes are so weak. They get so strained from trying to read/write (even with accommodations), the class lighting burns my eyes tremendously, to the point of leaving me in tears. I don't know how I've managed to make it through everyday. Am I doing okay? Not really but I'm SURVIVING. And I'm proud. |
Question: I feel helpless. Hopeless.? Posted: 17 Nov 2016 11:38 AM PST I have 500 contacts in social media. I know them all and have been friends with many. Now there is noone to talk. I spared everything for a nonfunctioning relationship for long time. I am 30 and now there is noone to drag me out of my lethal depression. I used to think I was a good and lovable person but that me is gone. How to go on living? |

Posted: 17 Nov 2016 09:26 AM PST Yesterday my wife sent me a message with a picture attached of a young lady who's facebook pictures I have been liking. I must admit the young lady is beautiful and very sexy, but I would never step out on my wife and kids for a maybe. How do I explain this to my wife because she is not listening to me and it's getting annoying. Recently I noticed a dramatic weight loss on my wife. I asked her if she has been eating, not to starve herself. She said she does eat but I think she is lying. I don't want her to harm herself to look like a fantasy. I assured her that I love her like she is and those pics mean nothing to me. It's just an attractive young woman. My wife is changing, she is not as loving and affectionate towards me. Please help. Other women don't mean anything to me, my wife is my love. She's starving herself. |
