Question: What should I do if my husband puts our daughter first? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 09:45 PM PST I recently read via my daughter's Facebook messenger (she left it open) my husband telling our 19-year-old that she comes first, even before me. I've been feeling it for years, just enduring because I love my husband and kids. I've known by his actions I'm number 2; it hurts me deeply already, but to read the words cuts me deeply. I feel rejected and unappreciated. I'm too nice to be selfish. I'm a good wife and mom. I can't compete for his love and attention which I barely get. What should I do? |
Question: What is going on with my boyfriend?!? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 08:24 PM PST so my boyfriend of two years planned a trip and it's rumored he is going to propose. He even told my mom. he has been acting very very strange however lately. seems edgy at times, takes his cell phone everywhere with him. talks about the future a lot. Tonight i accidentally opened a piece of his mail and he came home freaking out i had opened his credit card statement. i know logically he is probably truly planning on proposing but i'm afraid he is cheating or something because he is being so strange. i have to tell myself he wouldn't go out of his way to tell my mother he is planning on proposing if he was cheating however. any toips? |
Question: Why does my husband like pushing my buttons?!? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 07:56 PM PST My husband has this horrible habit of finding the one thing that I didn't do and blowing it out of proportion. For instance, as soon as I came home from work today, he left to his weekly church group gathering. When he left, I fed our toddler, then took them with me to run errands, shop for groceries, etc. We came home, then I bathed them both, fed our 11 month old and had them both in bed before 9 p.m. Mind you, I have a major exam and had just sat down to study when he waltzes in and looks at me and says, "you haven't bathed yet?? Oh wait, you're waiting until all the dirt and grime sets in. I get it." I take a shower daily, mostly twice a day, but the moment I take a late shower, he makes nasty jokes like these. It makes me sick, because I take my personal hygiene seriously and he refers to me as though I'm dirty. I know when I smell and when I don't, and I never let myself get dirty enough to smell! I've already told him I don't appreciate his constant teasing, but he doesn't stop. |
Posted: 29 Nov 2016 07:06 PM PST I know somebody that recently had brain surgery. He now forgot who his wife is. He s about 86 years old and is from Florida. It s now at a point where it s getting dangerous for his wife, because he now sees her as a friend and told her that she is no longer welcome in the house and has no room for her because he has six children and his wife living with him. He most recently kicked the door down and she had to call the police. Is there any government funding for these types of issues? His wife is unable to afford $5,000/mo. institutions/homes for people with these disabilities. |
Question: Do you have to appear in court for a divorce? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 05:40 PM PST We share nothing have no children and agree on the divorce. Non want spousal support, yet we have a court date. Is that necessary? |
Question: Emancipation or other options in Idaho? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 05:08 PM PST I m 17 years old and I m currently living with my mom. I m supposed to have visitations with my dad every other weekend, but his wife doesn t want me there so I choose not to go. However, things have gotten bad with my mom. She can t accept the fact I don t believe in god. I told her in a counseling session yesterday that I don t and we ve been arguing ever since. She s taking away every support I have in my life and it s honestly killing me inside. I sound so dramatic but I honestly can t take 10 more months of this. I hate myself because of it. I wish I never told her. I just need a way out, I don t care for the sacrifice. Please give me any options I can use She told me I'm not allowed to leave the house until I turn 18, except for work or school. I want to have a relationship with my mom, I just don't think this is the way to go about it. |

Question: What are the advantages or disadvantages of being married? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 04:04 PM PST I was just curious. I would like to get married one day but I heard it's very hard work. My dad told me its a HUGE commitment. This is going to sound weird but I just turned 27 and to be very blunt, I'm not ready or mature enough to get married yet. I love the single life for now but that doesn't mean I wanna be alone for the rest of my life. One day I will meet Mr Right |
Question: My little sister is almost 23, single, and never married. Should I be concerned? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 03:46 PM PST She told me that she also hasn't been kissed. She has gorgeous blue eyes but is too shy. She did get bullied a lot during adolescent years. |

Question: My husband gave me a black eye!? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 02:41 PM PST My husband and I were in the gym yesterday training together, I went off to do my own set when some guy out of nowhere started 'spotting' me during my squats and I mean he was pretty close to me, I stopped and asked him to go away. My husband noticed and came over words where said between them with the guy being a disrespectful jerk, he then took a swing at my husband who is a marine and my husband punched him back, this went on for a few seconds and I tried to grab my husbands back and pulled his arm away, not knowing it was me he elbowed me in the face and I now have a black eye. What's annoying me is that although he keeps apologising for what happened he's angry at me for the whole thing starting. Am I missing something here? Does he have a right to be angry with me? |
Question: University phys read details? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 02:38 PM PST Aspringhasanaturallengthof0.0875mandaspringconstantof760N/m.Apersonstretchesthespringtoalengthof0.1336 m. How much potential energy is being stored in the spring? |
Question: What can I do to kill some time? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 01:52 PM PST I just took a job about 10 minutes away from where my husband works. We both share one car and right now because we can't afford a second one and transportation in my area is almost non-existent to where I'm going. I leave work at 4:30 and my husband leaves work at 5:30. Since I dropped him off at work I have to then pick him up at the end of the day and I have no idea what to do for that hour. If you figure driving time to wherever I'm going might take 10 minutes or so then I have 30 to 40 minutes to do whatever before I have to go get him. So I have no idea what to do in that time. I can't go home either. |

Question: I think my husband is cheating on me because of our sex life.? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 12:00 PM PST My husband is very good in bed, but I'm more reserved. My last boyfriend dumped me because he said I was boring. My husband never said anything like that to me, but I can tell he's not satisfied. I haven't done half of the things his last GF's used to do and it hurts to accommodate his size. I told him how I felt, but he told me if he wasn't happy with our sex life he wouldn't have married me, but now I have this gut feeling that his lusting over other women and his past lovers. I saw a FB message between him and his ex (which is pretty recent. He wasn't talking to her before) about how she misses him and the sex they used to have. He just put a smiley face. She wanted to see him again and he put maybe. He told me he wouldn't talk to his exes out of respect for me. This is why I think he's thinking about cheating. What can I do? |
Question: Am I Wrong For not wanting to stay in my Toxic Marriage? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 10:56 AM PST I have been with this man for four years. I'm 22, he is 23. First two years was awesome, after we got married it turned into hell. I got into the military and we became abusive towards one another, many times he kept leaving me for his family. Said a lot of hurtful stuff about me, to me and after 4 times I still took him back. Well after he left me the last time I distanced myself and got myself together. In the midst of getting myself together I met this man, and he talked to me for two months and he is amazing. I'm calmer, happier with him. I can be myself. Then just recently my (ex) husband decided he wanted me back. Cried, pleaded to me about how he needs me. My heart is made up, I can't keep going through that pain with him anymore especially when this new man treats me 100000x's better. Am I wrong for not wanting to stay in an abusive relationship with my Husband even when he is sorry? |

Question: Is my wife overreacting and out of line? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 07:45 AM PST This might seem petty but my wife has this rule that I cannot bring any food into the bedroom. . In fairness to her at times I have fallen asleep in the be with cookies etc... and I know that is gross. However all I did last night was early in the evening walk in the room while eating some pretzels and she got so angry she started yelling at me. 2 footnotes- she is OK with my daughter and son eating in our room and we are married almost 25 years. Is she being unreasonable . I meant I fell asleep in the "Bed" with the cookies- sorry for the typo. |
Posted: 29 Nov 2016 07:30 AM PST He is a great person just he does not get paid much and he drinks a lot at night so maybe he is what you call a functioning alcoholic so the little money he does get tends to go to his alcohol, food for the family (only thing he provides), and his cigarettes. Would you still accept him like that? I understand that you are all confused about how he is a great husband/father when he is an alcoholic. To me he is an alcoholic because he drinks every night once our kids are asleep. He does not get drunk, he drinks two 24 ounce cans each night and more on the weekends. That is alcoholism to me especially when he does not have the money for that habit. He is a great father and husband though because he treats us great, one does not have to always give money to be considered a good father .(cont) he plays a lot with our kids, spends time with us. He is a family man and I am very family oriented. I work full time as does he. He gets paid less. I pay the bills but sometimes it gets to me that all he does is pay for the food because he doesnt get paid much and what he has is used also on his bad habits. Would you allow this? |

Question: Did my wife set me up for a divorce? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 01:01 AM PST My wife has threaten me with divorce at least twice in our 5 year marriage. Several months ago she came up with this "marital agreement". One of things on the agreement was for me to tell her where I was going each time I leave the apartment. One day I forgot to tell and didn't have my key. I knocked on the door, no answer. I called her on the phone to come unlocked the door, she said no. I got really up set and start kicking the door and she call the police. I had to turn myself in and etc. |

Question: My wife hates my mom. What should I do? Posted: 29 Nov 2016 12:29 AM PST I realize that my mom is probably not the perfect mil but she loves my wife and always wants the best for her. My wife doesn't think so and hates my mom. I recently overheard her telling her sister that she wished my mom were dead. She has always complained to me about my mom but I never expected this. I just can't get forget what I heard and am really disgusted. What should I do? I have tried talking to my wife about her feelings for my mom in the past but I feel this is just too much. I now feel it just cannot be repaired. I love my parents a lot. They have always taught me to respect others. I have started to feel that my wife is not a good person. What should I do? I am utterly disgusted. |
Question: I need help with helping my wife.? Posted: 28 Nov 2016 11:20 PM PST I am married to a beautiful woman, There is nobody in the world I would've rather put a ring on. The only problem is that she's constantly in tears. I hate seeing her cry like that it tears me apart. We don't have any children and we live alone in a nice little town house. My wife (Who's name is Alice) Has been abused most of her life from child hood to her first marriage before me. She has a therapist and I do my best. I try to let her know that she's safe and I care about her deeply. I'll hold her for hours as long as she gets to calm down for a bit. I don't know what to do. I've tried to step back thinking she needed space but she didn't want that. She wanted me to hold her and I do but that only helps her for a little while. I just want her to be happy. She's such a good beautiful person I hate to see her crying like that. She's 29 and works at a restaurant while I am 32 and work as a defense attorney. I should clarify that she does have a serious of mental heath issues (Which does include being suicidal) , and yes she has been like that since the day I met her 6 years ago. Despite the way I'm making it sound she is actually better and has been getting better since we started living together. I know I cant fix a mental health issue but I just want to know if there are any ways I can take care of her better. Thanks for all the answers I'll start looking into the suggestions that were given. |

Question: I got back with my husband after he cheated on me I need some advice? Posted: 28 Nov 2016 10:10 PM PST So he cheated on me telling that girl he was single which was a lie and had a son so she believed that and started dating him 3 months later he comes and begs me he wants me back we have 2 kids together I thought about it first and I forgave him and I did it mostly because I wasn't financially stable and I thought more for my kids than I did for myself you know so they have everything they need. I feel like I still do have feelings for him but I can't get over the fact he left me and our 2 kids for a younger girl I only finished high school and my family is upset I got back with him after he cheated but it's hard especially since I've never had a job and only depended on him he says he did it because he was just being a man whore at the time and realized that all females have the same things that just cuz of her body cause she was thinner and he regretted leaving me and feels bad but the thing is she is pregnant from him supposibly and he tells me he wants nothing with her but wants to meet "his" child. I don't know if I can really accept that what should I do ? No rude comments plz 😢😪 |

Question: The guy with the "secret question"? Posted: 28 Nov 2016 06:37 PM PST Long story short, my wife started a new job and her male coworker gave her his "secret number". After she rejected him, he backpeddled by saying that his wife is the jealous type and he has a secret number so that he can be "friends" with other girls. Even after I discussed this with my wife, she claims that he has become a really close friend and she believes him; now they text each other back and forth all day. Am I overreacting? Thoughts, opinions? |
