Question: Are my parents selfish to give limited consequences to my drug addicted brother? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 01:42 PM PST They yell at him but only two times as he been given consequences not counting when a kid. Even as a kid he got off easy along with my sister and even me. So is this selfishness that makes parents do this? |
Question: Am I accountable for the alcoholic behavior of my father? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 01:39 PM PST None of my mother's family likes me or wants to relate to me. My Dad is an alcoholic and my Mom died. They seem to paint me with my Dad's image. It really sucks because I could use family and my Dad was an only child. My Mom had 4 siblings but they all avoid me because I am his son. This started as soon as she died and there is no other reason. So am I accountable for his drunken behavior? Someone even told me "they just associate you with him". My mother's family was like this as my Mom pulled the same crap by associating her cousin with the cousin's mother who my Mom was mad at. |
Question: Should I cut ties with my mother? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 01:17 PM PST My mother is emotionally abusive and made my life a misery for most of my life as she likes to play mind games. She always denies this and claims to have no recollection of what she did or finds a way to blame me. I am 22 now and living with my fiancé but she still finds ways to push my buttons. A couple of weeks ago she called me up and told me she fell and broke her nose and informed the police I hit her and they were out looking for me. It made no sense since I hadn't been to visit her for weeks but my anxiety disorder meant that I got so worried I had a panic attack. The next day she called and confessed it to be a lie because I "deserved it" for refusing to buy her any cigarettes when she spent all her money on rubbish. She also often makes threats to end her life "and it will all be MY fault!) then turns her phone off for days. |
Question: I accidentally got aids from my step sisters asshole.? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 01:07 PM PST Should I tell my parents I ****** my step sister and go to the doctor? Or should I cut my loses and just chop off my dick? |
Question: How can I help my little brother with his video game addiction? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 12:54 PM PST It all started when he was 3 years old. Our dad got us a Wii and my little brother loved playing on it. He was already addicted to it back then. After that, when he was around 5-6 years old, he had a phase where he watched YouTube videos about Video games ALL THE TIME ( I think theyre called Lets-Plays). He is now 7 and a half years old and im getting very concerned. He hates doing his homework (obviously) and spends a hella lot of time on the wii, iPad etc... My parents arent really doing anything about it but im really concerned about my brother. Can something happen to him if this continues? What should i do? I ve tried playing with him without any electronics but he gets extremly bored and cries. Not letting him play doesnt really work either because he just gets sad and angry all the time and wont talj to anyone. PLEASE HELP :/ Btw: he is the fourth child so my parents are really easy on him |

Question: Am I cheesy for this? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 12:45 PM PST My family member lives in another state and I never get to see her anymore although we keep in contact through Facebook. Every time just randomly she goes through my photos/posts and likes everything all at once giving me tons of notifications. Well it always gets me so excited for her to see my stuff lol, am I cheesy for that? Like I don't really get to talk to her a lot but it just brings the greatest little joy. |

Question: How many times can you appeal a probate case in California? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 12:42 PM PST My aunt is trying to fight a will but my uncle lefted everything to me. She's only appealed it once so far. I don't see how she can try and keep appealing with no real reason. She's just mad and a greedy/selfish lady. He never liked his sister and brothers because they stood 1000s from him a lot time ago. |
Question: My sister wants to visit me? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 12:26 PM PST Actually, my half sister. We have the same stupid dad. He divorced my mother when I was 1 and left to Germany. There, he had another family, I heard. So I've never met this sister before. She's 5 years younger than me. Anyway, she's coming to visit for christmas along with the crazy old man (i don't care for him by the way). I just wonder how to deal with a sister I don't even know? |

Question: What is wrong with the males in my family.? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 11:27 AM PST Excluding me and my fathers oldest brother (who has sadly passed in may) The rest of the males from my dads side (his other brothers and there male children) The males will not do house work , shopping , or go to work. They just want to watch TV all day or play video games and eat/drink lots. They send the wife/girl friend or sister to shopping/work etc. The males just say I don't know how to pay bills/go shopping etc. |

Posted: 30 Nov 2016 11:12 AM PST My mother did this this is no longer alive and I'm trying to understand her mind that she was a very bitter person towards her family, not counting us kids, but very loving everybody else. Not a day would go by where she didn't cut her family from childhood down in someway or other. I am 31 and I've only met them on two occasions both as a little kid. My mother has now died and I'm debating reaching out to them. |

Question: My Mother n Law Threatened to Assault me?!? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 09:45 AM PST Well this is a long story so get ready. We went to Phoenix for the holidays to visit family, and I was under the impression that this was just for FAMILY...not squeezes not little girl friends...family. So I found out that my brother n law was bringing his squeeze with him. (Mind you he's 31 and his squeeze is 19...he is divorced and has 2 kids that he doesn't see, basically he's a trash bag) Any who, she he brings her down and lucky me I get to share a room with her. I do not really make much conversation with her because I really care much to know her because I am wondering what's she doing here. So I basically ignore and try to avoid conversation with her the entire trip. Which was about 6 days together. Long story short, my mother n law gets mad at me because she was upset at how I was treating her sons girl friend. She starts yelling and threatening to slap me...calling me little girl and all these other names. I do not feed into it. I just kept quiet. I do not feel bad about how I treated his girl friend because she's not family so she shouldn't have even been there to begin with. thoughts? Since then she has blocked me and my husband (which is her son) from facebook. I felt like if she was upset with me then we should have sat down and spoke about it. Instead she wanted to yell like a child and threaten me. |
Question: I have the most f...g brother ever.the person i hate the mosttt? Question: How to not let my sister's negativity transfer to me? Posted: 30 Nov 2016 09:36 AM PST My 30yr old sister is suffering hardships. She lost her home and was forced to move in with me and our mom. She is unhappy with her situation and taking it out on everyone. She constantly talks about our existing and non-existing insecurities. I've been giving her space and letting her words roll off me. She made her choices in life and has to live with them. I think hearing her talk every other day made her words stuck in my head. The other day, a cashier made a mistake and I realized too late that I was repeating cruel words my sister said to me last week. I was so embarrassed I left. I've brought headphone to drown her out when she gets like this but what else can I do? I can't talk to her about her behavior. My other sisters tried and it turned into a physical fight. My sister feels she has the right to talk about us but we can't say anything about her. |
