Posted: 05 Nov 2016 09:08 PM PDT She is great person when not drinking which is till about noon time then after that she hits the bottle turns into Mr Hyde. I don't think she is bluffing one day I came home she had my 357 pistol had it ****** in the bathroom didn't have her finger on the trigger she was waving it around I was able to grab it away from her and unload it. That was about 5 years ago I never leave a firearm outside the safe. I had only put that one in a night stand the night before because neighbor had a home invasion and they were tied up wife was raped. She also cut her wrist with a box cutter not deep enough to hit the veins I didn't know about it until the next morning I had already gone to bed she was up drinking all night. The next day I saw bandages on her wrists saw a bloody box cutter. She refuses to go to any rehab or hospitals I guess I enable her. I knew she was an alcoholic when I met her at that time I was just learned I contracted herpes and she didn't care that I had it. I figured at that time best I would ever do with herpes. Now I would rather just be alone then be with an Alcoholic anyone who reads this don't ever get hooked up with an alcoholic it may seem fun at first but quickly becomes a burden. The funny thing is all her party drinking friends don't talk to her anymore because they got tired of her getting so drunk and belligerent. Weekdays she works it the only thing that keeps her away from the bottle some nights. Weekend nights are hell I can't get any sleep. |
Question: My wife says I don't do enough.? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 09:02 PM PDT Now she's been a stay home mom for about 7months but now she's going into the work force. I work fulltime and since my son was born she's complained about me not doing enough, so now I do more with my son. I give my wife a break from him when im home but it's still clearly not enough. I try to clean up after myself but like most people I sometimes tend to forget. We married young I'm 22 and she's 21 and we've been married for almost 1 1/2 years and truely would like to save my marriage I really don't know what else to do |
Question: What should I do about this married man? Extra points for best answer!!!!? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 08:58 PM PDT To make a long story short. I am married with no kids for 8+ years and my marriage was having issues so I had a 1year and 3 months affair with a married man. We both was sneaking around behind our spouses back. He recently had a baby by his wife a 2nd child and was experiencing financial hardship and ask to borrow 100. So I let him borrow a 100 and since then. He has not called me, has not pick up the phone and not responding to my texts. I just can't believe he would do something like this. So my question is should I tell his wife everything for revenge since he is acting crazy over a 100 dollars. I know for a fact he as seen the message |

Question: How does child marriage work when it's outlawed? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 08:27 PM PDT when people say that child marriage continues despite laws setting minimum ages of marriage, does that just mean that they don't bother obtaining marriage licenses? do they somehow get them illegally??? but not all child marriages are at ages where parental consent is allowed... many are younger in places like yemen, nigeria, etc... |

Question: What do people have against polygamy? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 05:30 PM PDT People seem to be way more tolerant of gay marriage and even open marriages, but the idea of polygamy is frowned upon. Why? |
Question: Why do I enjoy sex with strangers or people I know I have no future with? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 05:26 PM PDT I'm married now and the sex has always been mediocre. It's mostly his fault, though I have to take partial blame for being incredibly bored. I used to have a lot of flings and out night stands and NSA arrangements. I always thought I wanted to be married and settled down, but now that I am I find myself fantasizing about strangers. Even when I was in relationships with "bad boys" I knew I could never truly commit to, the sex was so hot. What's wrong with me? Is this just part of being married? |

Posted: 05 Nov 2016 05:05 PM PDT My little bro is 10 and he knows this guy who is angry, upset, (maybe slightly bipolar?), and scary. I grew up with the exact opposite of that. I feel like I don't really know my dad anymore. I don't understand, the divorce was supposed to help. Not flip a switch that made my dad the polar opposite of what he (used to be?) Idk. Advice, please? Why did this happen? Was he always like that? I miss the dad I knew... |

Question: Why do some countries allow marriage of children to adults? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 04:39 PM PDT Are they doing anything to change that? |
Posted: 05 Nov 2016 04:34 PM PDT Long story short, she failed me after 5 years of marriage, we have 2 kids, her son (my stepson which I consider MY son of 8yrs), and our daughter of 3yrs. Out of a sudden I found myself getting separated after having a very nice family vacation. She had been having an affair for a few months and I discovered it the next day we got back from our vacation. I left, we have been living 3 months separated now, she still "talks" to him and now is talking about divorce. She tells me she has fallen out of love that's why she wants a divorce, but some times shows me affection when I see her. I am willing to forgive her because I do not believe in Divorce, I did not get married to get a divorce. I wanted us to grow old together raising our own little family. I hate the idea of getting a divorce and NOT seeing my kids grow on an every day basis. She said she wants me to move on, that IF she ever regrets letting me go, she will do ANYTHING to get me back even if it is too late... I don't know what to do.. All I want is my family back. |

Question: Is there a word that is used to label a male that? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 03:58 PM PDT marries a woman and then contributes nothing financially, living as a parasite on his wife's labors? Gigolo doesn't fit. I'm looking for a really judgmental word like parasite but I thought there might be a more trenchant word that is less commonly used. |

Question: Friend complains about MY husband? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 03:08 PM PDT Is it normal to have a friend complain about your spouse when you aren't even complaining about them? My friend is always complaining which I tend to ignore. However if she complains about something that happened or is happening around him every once in awhile he'll put in his two cents and constructively criticize her. She gets so easily offended. She's the reason why we have safe room for kids to block out all the negativity in the world. I'm not saying my husband is right or wrong, however I'm getting a bit annoyed with her complaining about my husband. I don't know if she's jealous because we're happy, has a crush on him, or is genuinely irritated. I do know that I don't appreciate her talking rude about him to me. My husband has apologized to her for some of the things he has said for what it's worth and I feel like she needs to forgive and move on. She has done it around my kids too which is not right. If divorced parents shouldn't talk badly about their ex in front of their kids how much more should a friend not complain about your spouse. She doesn't live with him anyway and have to deal with him! I'm happy where I am with my husband. He doesn't care that she talks bad about him but I do. Its disrespectful. How can I get her to stop? |
Question: Stay at home mom problems...? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 02:59 PM PDT I've been married for 5 years and been with my husband for 7. I had a job when we had our first child and stopped working when we had our second child. My husband and I agreed that me staying home was best for our family. I have been a stay at home mom now for 3 years. It is the hardest thing I have ever done and my husband never helps out at home! If I ask for help he just complains about how tired he is. I'm so tired of it...his parents also ask me "when are you going to start working again?". They make jokes about me doing bit$& work and they think it's funny. Whenever we buy gifts for his family his parents always thank my husband and not me. It's so obvious they don't respect me as a stay at home mom. I'm so overwhelmed and exhausted. I don't know what i should do....I'm so sick of all of it. Help pls... |
Question: Should i be concerned? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 02:42 PM PDT My girlfriend sometimes likes the pictures her male friend puts up in facebook. These are pics of him and or the photos he takes with his camera. She asked him a question like how does it feel to be back at home? He answered it vaguely 3 days after her post. He is in a relationship with another woman and kids are involved but his status is single on facebook. The pictures he posts are flowers, sunset, mountain. I like the pics too. Does she like him romantically even though they live in different countries? He lives in her native country. |

Question: If a wife slaps her husband is it okay for him to punch her back? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 02:34 PM PDT My friend and her husband got in to a heatedargument. He wouldn't get put of her face or allow her to walk away he blocked her only exist to th the room which lead to the front room of her apartment and got in her face calling her names. She warned him she would slap him if he didn't back off. He yelled at her more untill she snapped and smacked him. He responded by punching her back bloodying her nose. This happened last week and she begged me not to get involve claiming he was defending himself I can't help no matter how hard I try but feel this is very wrong. What do you think? |

Question: What's the age gap between you and your wife? or spouse/significant other? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 01:52 PM PDT Please don't lie. Just curious and taking a survey. :-) Thank you. And sub question, how long have you guys been married? |
Question: How can I get back at my wife for lying and seeing another guy the last few months? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 01:19 PM PDT Been catching on to my wife talking to another guy and kept asking her and she would deny everything. I moved out a week ago and the same guy the new guy moved in but the apartment was in her name and we have no kids together and own nothing together. I saw on his Facebook he put he was moving there which was quickly deleted. I worked and paid the bills while she did nothing but drink the last four years we were married for. Haven't talked to her since I moved. The guy is a real winner, a recovering meth addict and gross looking. I put up with so much of her mess any man would've left her for. I loved her and she had three kids I supported and treated as my own. What can I do to get back at her and without her knowing it's me? |
Question: Is money a deal-breaker? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 12:52 PM PDT I am interested in dating one of my best friends, and he is interested in me, too. We dated for a few years several years ago, but we broke up because he lived kind of far, and I wanted to focus on my career. We decided to stay friends, and lately the feelings have been coming back. We're perfect for each other, except for one thing: He is bad with money. We're both in our late 30s, and he has absolutely no money saved. He is not in debt, but any extra he has after paying for rent and his bills go to things like books and trips, and I know that won't ever change. Right now, I am dating to find a husband, not to "have fun." Out of all of the guys I have dated in the past, he is the only person I can see myself marrying, and we have fun together, and we both want the same things. We would be getting back together with the intention of getting married at some point in the future. I just don't know if this money thing is a deal-breaker. I have a bit of money saved, but I want that to go to a down payment of a house. We can both support ourselves right now, and we would be able to support ourselves if we got married, provided that we both have our jobs. But if we were to get married and one of us lost our job a few years down the road or are unable to work for whatever reason, we wouldn't be able to live on one salary. I know I wouldn't be happy if I had to move in with family or rent a room from a stranger. Should I write this whole thing off because of the money issue? |
Question: Is my gf trying to start drama? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 12:39 PM PDT My gf was telling me about how her ex husband (who is bordering on being a deadbeat dad) took his kids finally for the day to a free kids festival and she was talking about how amazing the festival is and I said "oh sounds nice" and she was like "are you making fun of me?" And got all upset and confrontational with me then I told her I had to go because I was running late and she was like "why are you mad and wanting to fight?" The fact was I wasn't wanting to fight just trying my best to be supportive of the loser and her situation but maybe not faking it well enough. When she stared to get defensive and confrontational I left. Is she drama? |
Question: My husband tattooed my name on his head! Advice? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 12:35 PM PDT We've been married for six year's and without a doubt we are deeply in love and almost inseparable. MY husband is already heavily tattooed but he came home yesterday with a "surprise for me", he took his hat off and showed me that he got my name tattooed on the side of his head, it's fairly big too. I got really pissed off with him and said it was a stupid thing to do. thankfully he usually keeps his hair with a bit of length so it won't be on show. He is annoyed by my reaction to it saying he did it to show me how much he loves me, I didn't need him to do something like that! I'm so annoyed with him over this. Is my reaction justified? |
Question: How do I teach my wife to drive better? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 11:18 AM PDT I've been married to her for 4 years and in those four years she has been in multiple accidents. She has slammed into my car when she gets home from work 5 times! She drives a hummer and I think it's too much car for her. The car is absolutely covered in bumps and scratches. It's been in the shop more times than I can count. The worst wreck was when she was driving and looking at the mall and didn't realize she was going 45 on a 25 and also didn't realize that the light was red and there was a smart car in front of us that was stopped. The smart car went flying across the intersection and got intercepted by a semi which then ping ponged the car high up into the air when it then exploded. It was traumatic and she drove away from the scene as fast as she could. What's scary is she then said, "it's ok I've done much worse!" The woman is a terrible driver and if it weren't for the fact that she drives a hummer she's just lucky to be alive. Other than being a terrible driver she's a great wife and works at a very high paying business job. And we love each other. I just get sick of waking up to SLAM in the driveway when I'm taking my afternoon nap. |
Question: Am I over reacting!? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 10:39 AM PDT First off we are both in our late 20's. We've been getting to know each other since the beginning of the year and took things VERY slow because neither of us wanted to waste our time on another failed relationship. During the summer we started texting every day, all day. We finally met and dated for about 5 weeks. We were not official yet but doing everything as a couple and neither of us dating anyone else, he said he was waiting for the right time to ask me. All of a sudden he started acting like a whole new guy. This is guy I know well, his friends, his kid...he was acting very distant now. So I tried to communicate with him and tell him I felt like he didn't know what he wanted anymore, thinking it was this one situation in particular but he shut it down basically saying nothing was wrong. Awkward conversations continued & NO flirting anymore, no more babe or calling me beautiful or good morning texts (that he once told me he sent to put a smile on my face). Nearing a week of him acting different he just ignored me mid conversation. So finally I just told him I don't even know where I stand anymore. As soon I wrote that I felt like I knew the answer, if I had to "ask" then it meant nowhere. I am not clingy at all! I usually only respond to his texts. I do feel "needy" for even trying to talk to him at this point but I was really into him and I trusted him with my feelings and thought he meant the things he told me. I've just walked away, do you think that's over reacting? I do feel like he's pushing me away. Part of me thinks maybe he's worried I'll leave him since he's said that in the past but if he won't communicate with me I have to go by his actions only. |
Question: Question targeted specifically at people against same sex marriage? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 06:21 AM PDT Why exactly are you against same sex marriage? Keep your answers clean and respectful please, but be honest. What are your reasons? I will not judge you for your answers. |

Question: Why are most of the cheerleaders from high school either married or pregnant? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 01:26 AM PDT I am 22 but it is like all of them got married at 18. Should I marry a random guy? |
Question: Alcoholic: intervening when children are involved? Posted: 05 Nov 2016 01:21 AM PDT My husband gave up smoking and drinking when I was pregnant with our daughter. With our son, he started drinking beer occasionally. Now he's just out of control. The last few months, he would just drink in social gatherings. This past Sunday at child's birthday party, both kids kept climbing over the temp fencing between properties, while my husband just sat there more concerned with his beer. And then last night he was so drunk, he was leaning on me for support to even walk, nearly toppling us both in the process. And then he tells me his boss gifted cuban cigars to all the crew, which he left at work. Both our kids are very susceptible to bronchitis due to issues (asthma) passed down from me. I asked what he plans to do with them, and he said he's going to smoke them. If he wants that crap in his body, not much I can do or say. But would it be wrong if I insist those are not permitted in the house? He can't control himself with beer or alcohol, and I'm concerned those cigars will open the door to smoking again. As far as the drinking, I'm already planning on making an appt with our Pastor or seeking an AA meeting. I can't go down this road again, especially when there are kids involved this time. I'm at the point that I'm ready to leave with the kids, but we did take vows for better or worse til death do us part. And if I leave, what message will that teach our kids? But then again if I stay......?? |

Posted: 04 Nov 2016 10:46 PM PDT - I was initially upset, and ask who's they were. He naturally got defensive and said that they were probably mine and that I had borrowed his old bag. That is not true, I work from home and have two computer bags of my own. - I texted all of our friends and family who have visited over the past year and just said "we found these in the move" they don't belong to anyone. - My dad cheated on my mom, so I know I am prone to be paranoid anyway, but seriously, wtf? - I have not been able to sleep and I mentioned that it was because I couldn't get the sun glasses out of my mind he said "I didn't know it upset you that much" Is my husband cheating on me? |
