I had a crush on her for the entire time. She didn't really develop feelings as soon as I did. Now that we are dating, things have been going great. However, recently my girlfriend told me how she really wants to take it super slow since she hasn't had feelings as long. That is fine, but what concerned me is when she said she had commitment issues. She didn't want to plan anything out. She wants to take it day by day, and not think too much about the future. She wants to have the freedom to travel and do mission work. Advice? |

Everything went well, at least that's what I thought. Last night he told me he was going to text me at 5am because he gets up for work around that time (he's a police officer). But he never did. She liked other guys though, dated other people etc. However, I still liked her as a person, and even if it couldnt be romantic, I enjoyed her as a friend. she's always been sort of flirty with it, but I didn't think much of it since she always had other guys or talked about other guys etc. Lately though, she seems a lot more flirty, touchy, etc (hints on prom). Today especially, we both got called down out of class, and instead of going back to class right away, she said lets just walk around the school together. So we spent 10 min just alone joking and walking around. However, when I'm with other people, she seems to ignore me, or acts shy. When its just me and her, she seems happier and more easy going. Sometimes she ignores texts, or gives one word replies (or ignores me in person), other days she's super talkative to me and kind. Thoughts, ideas? |

We would always hang out and could talk and talk with one another for ages. I would catch her playing with her hair/jewlery, biting on her nails and she woukld laugh at all my lame jokes whether they were funny or not. She also reacted positively when i teased her or touched her but she never did the same back. One of our mutual friends who was also a girl said it was oretty obvious she was into me but i did not think so. I asked her out to the movie twice and both times she said she was busy, i coudnt tell if she really was since she works untl midnight most days of the week. The second time i asked her was before our week long break and after she got bck she seemed a little upset at me, which i think was because she figured out that i had feelings for her. I talked to my friend again and she asked me to confess my feelings and find out since i was getting too distracted and i did. She told me she only saw me as a friend and nothing more and seemed a little surprised that i felt that way even though i though it was obvious. On Monday of last week she had a "mental breakdown" after Law school and said we need to end it because she felt guilty of not being committed as i was, Which is lame because we were so good and she was so good to me and happy during Easter with her family, Wednesday she then said she needs all her stuff and she will get it on the weekend. I called her on Saturday and she said "I dont want to spend the whole day crying" i said that was her fault really, Then she said she did not want a relationship atm, Yet she is on a Dating Site Currently looking for a relationship... I broke up with him after being together for 11 months, i was 14 he 16, and he said it hurt him so much that I gave up on him. But now..It's strange. This year, me 9th he 11th, it's weird. At first we I never dared to even look at him, but now we talk and hang out after school sometimes, and he still.treats me as if we are dating still. But.he once told a friend of mine he can't date me because I'm too young.WTF!? He was willing to love me when I was a middle schooler, but now he won't?! Like he says he's crazy about me I'm perfect for him etc. we both feel like there's this connection like none other between us. he's known that I love him for a few months now and things were going GREAT. I sent him this long paragraph about how it annoys me that I can't explain how he makes me feel and that I want a future with him. I never said "hey lets get married rn" and we've had conversations like that before where he agrees and wants a future with me too. Although not as in depth. Ah. Anyway, he didn't answer me for 5 days after I sent him hat which is very strange for him. He finally told me that it just scared him a little and that he's not ready for all of that yet. I told him I didn't feel comfortable coming to visit anymore and he never answered (he's in another state until July and I was supposed to go see him at the end of April). I texted him a few times tonight saying that I'm sorry and I still want to see him to "this is ridiculous you need to stop ignoring me and tell me what's going on" and explaining what I meant etc and that I'm not flying to the state he's in unless I'm gonna see him while there. He never answered. I just don't understand. This unlike him to act this way&idk why all of a sudden this set him off when in the past it never has its just made him happy? He said he would and did show up. I said "it was weird that I texted you on Facebook, I don t have your number and you don t have mine." so his friend goes to him "you should take it from her" and I gave it to him. Then a couple hours later he texted me and replied super quick. But his texts were short, and when I said we should hang sometime he said definitely and I said lemme know when but he responded with "kk!" I didn't reply to him but a few days later I asked if he wanted to go grab icecream the next day but he told me he had to do something (was a legit thing not a dumb excuse) and said maybe we could hang over the weekend. The weekend came and he didn't text but on that Friday he came into my work place with a friend, his friend's girlfriend and the girlfriend's best friend. He didn't order anything, probably to avoid talking to me but instead sat down on the table in front of the counter where I was working. I was so upset and confused about what he was doing. I know he'll actually like me if we just hang out once together, prom is around the corner so idk. Any advice would be great thanks. I don't see him much so we can't really talk in person. I don't know how to get the chance to hang out with him once. |

We still look at each other but there is times when she acts I'm not there at the hallways which throws me off.She would walk up the staris fast when seeing me.This semester I still see her around and at times looks at other times acts like I'm not there. When I had classes with her shy was quiet. | Question: Did I overreact by blocking a friend on FB? Posted: 04 Apr 2016 07:41 PM PDT This was over a year ago, but I was wondering if what I did was reasonable or not. I had a roommate several years ago. We got along great, hung out a couple times (outside the apt.), then I moved out. A few years go buy and one day as I'm sitting in traffic (8-10 miles from where we used to live), I look up and he's sitting in his car parked by the curb, he saw me and say "Hi Becky". A few days b4 I had been wondering what he was up to, so I was like "Hey!", pulled over so we could talk for a minute. We exchanged numbers, then friended each other on FB. Over the next few months we'd message every so often, just banter. Then he made a comment that I thought was weird...the conversation started taking on slight sexual overtones, and I don't remember what led to it, but somehow someone made a reference to penis size, and I was like "well I can handle a big one" and he responded "good girl". So I was like um ok that's a bit derogatory and odd. Whatever, I didn't think much more of it. Then a couple weeks later (still via FB messaging), he says that he saw me recently on a social networking/dating app. I was like "Oh really? Ha that's funny". And he's like "yeah, but don't worry, I blocked you". So I'm like umm ok, that's odd, seems to be a pretty egotistical response, which was two in a row which pissed me off so I blocked him on FB. CONT'D BELOW The next day he texts me and says "Hey I saw that you blocked me, I have no idea why, I can't say I'm sorry if I don't know what I did". I didn't respond, I'm not/wasn't mad or anything, I just thought that was kind of an f'ed up thing to say to someone that you blocked them on another app, and thought to myself, ok guess we're not on the same wavelength, and I just let it (and him) go...but I couldn't help but wonder if I overreacted, or if my response of blocking him was warranted? Also I was wondering what I should say if I run into him again? Like how should I handle it? It might also be worth mentioning that he's from a different (small) country with a COMPLETELY different culture. |

I of course, said "yes". But after she came over, she acted... different, towards me only though. Then after a second visit we had a fight. Supposedly I "asked her out", I didn`t I mean`t go out as friends. But now she hasn`t talked to me since January. We have class together, and when we get partnered up, we work together. Also we have a mutual friend in the same class with us. So when I talk to my friend, she butts in and starts talking. I just want to tell her to mind he f*cking business, but no matter how mad I am at her I can`t disrespect her like that. What do I do right now? Me and her played 20 questions one time, and she asked me weird stuff like: How would your parents react if you have a girlfriend, does your girlfriend have to be the same religion as you, would you kiss a girl, would you like to be a f*ck buddy, do you want to be my f*ck buddy. If we are with a group of friends he is really quite. If we get left alone for whatever reason, I can get him talking. But gets quite again when our friends come back around. He can talk to other girls/guys just fine. Sometimes I feel like he maybe watching me when I don't notice. We usually end up right next to each other a few times a night. His family, including his daughter (who will be home from college)want to go this weekend. She writes hearts on my notebook with her name on it. One day her and her friend were behind me and she kicked me on the foot(gently) and called me my nickname she gave me and she started giggling with her friend. She also likes all of my social media photos and her best friend (who doesn't really talk to me )commented on my picture "your bestie" and tagged the girl I think likes me.
