Question: Getting married at 22/23? Posted: 30 Apr 2016 04:03 PM PDT I've been with my boyfriend since sophomore year of highschool and we're both sophomores in college going on junior year. After college, he will be going into the military and feels this means we should marry at 22. We already plan to be together but I just think it's crazy that in a year or so, I'll be engaged and married. We would wait if it isn't for the military. I guess what I'm asking is for some advice, experience, or any input. I fear that people will talk and look down on us. Maybe it won't make a difference to marry him at 22 than at 25 or so. |
Question: Two half sisters having their weddings the same day, not sure whose to go to? Posted: 30 Apr 2016 12:12 PM PDT A little background: My parents have been married for several years now. I'm 19 and the only daughter they have together. Both had a daughter when they met and married. My sisters have never gotten along and hate each other to the point I really can't see both of them together. I've always had to see one and then the other because they would rather attack each other than see me or our parents. It's made for some very difficult family functions over the years. Anyway, both of my sisters are engaged and both have set their weddings on the same day. The weddings will be several hours apart, so there's no way to attend both. Both claim to have set their dates first and neither are completely trustworthy. I love both my sisters, so I don't know how to choose. My boyfriend suggested not attending either if I think it will cause too many problems. But I'm not sure what to do. Advice? |

I live in buffalo ny. So the ideal location should be some where close by surrounding the nearest country side. I already rule out Becker farms.. And hayloft in the grove in east aurora.(this one is on the possible list). If anyone knows of venues ..plz let me know. |

Question: My parents brought me to US but I wanted to go back to my country? Posted: 27 Apr 2016 10:10 PM PDT I was an Asian and moved from my country to US 5 years ago. Idk why but after 5th grade I have no friends at school. I have an Identical twins (look exactly the same like me) and she doesn t have any friends too. We both support each other in school. But it s weird and awkward that two girls with identical looks and theyre siblings to be with each other, like lonely people. Whenever we have a class together and the teachers wanted us to do group work but can choose your group mate, of course I was with my sister every time. It s just so embarrased like you are so lonely and no one wants you in a group so you have to be with your siblings to do group work. However i am very thankful to have a sister in my class so I don t have to be "extremely" lonely, but the point is, besides my family, i do really needs some friends. Friends means the BIGGEST thing in my life. Not only having them so I would not be looking lonely, but also I want to have friends, to share feelings with, to laugh with. :( And also Im a very shy person not talkative it could be the biggest reason i have no friends but, its hard for me ok? Im in a foreign country and I felt scared to talk to them. I was thinking that whether to go back to my own country or not, because I can make friends there and feeling more comfortable. I have no issue to make friends in my own country. (How do I know? because i got lots of friends there before moving to US) But my parents brought me here for better education... so what should I do? |
