Question: Can I wear my wedding ring on a chain around my neck instead of on my finger? Posted: 11 Apr 2016 07:00 PM PDT You know, like how Frodo wore the One Ring during the journey to Mordor. |
Question: Who to have walk me down the isle? Posted: 11 Apr 2016 05:18 PM PDT My parents divorced when I was 3 and where both remarried by the time I was 5. I would visit my dad every other weekend until I was 14 and then I stopped seeing him, only having small conversations every once and a while. My step dad has always been in the father figure place, but i've never felt any father connection/love from him. I would never be able to decide who to have walk me down the isle without hurting the others feelings so I decided to have my mom do it. She has been my supoort through everything and has aways been the person I go to for everything. The only problem is she doesn't think it would be right to my step dad to do that. Would it be bad to have my mom walk me? Because otherwise I feel like I won't have anyone :/ |
Question: Ok my brother is getting married in July, what are we allowed to do as his family?? Posted: 11 Apr 2016 04:30 PM PDT Ok so first of all my brother and his fiance are not going to get married in church the fiance decided to just do a little ceremony at her mom's place because her dad passed away recently and she wanted him to walk her down the aisle so that's one of the main reasons why she didn't want to have a big wedding. Anyways as the family of the groom what can we do to help them out or what should we do since I've never been to a wedding..Pls just give us some advices because I'm lost. ...Thank you so much |

Question: Is it rude to reserve going to a wedding but not show up? Posted: 11 Apr 2016 02:45 PM PDT If I reserved going to my friend's wedding but if something came up like a family emergency or if I decided I couldn't go, would this be very rude and would this affect my friend's wedding plans even if I am not there but if I am supposed to be there and reserved? Is it mandatory to go to a wedding after I reserve with not being allowed to cancel? |

Question: Would you take a peak at the engagement ring if you stumbled across the box? Posted: 11 Apr 2016 12:53 PM PDT Say you found a ring box by mistake, but you didn't open it and instead put it away and tried to forget about it. You know where it is, and at least two weeks have gone by now and you're thinking it could be a while until you find out what exactly is inside or what it looks like. Would you peak? Be honest. This is my dilemma. I've been strong about it, but starting to wonder what's the harm in a little peak... Is bad would that be? |

Question: I want to wear a beautiful wedding dress, but I don t want a wedding? Posted: 11 Apr 2016 09:18 AM PDT So I definitely love dresses, and I love watching the show Say Yes to the Dress because of how many totally beautiful dresses are on that show. So, when I get married, I for sure want to wear a wedding dress-- I don t totally know what kind, probably something not in white, like with colorful layers or in blush or something. I may want a big ballgown, but I may also be constrained by budget. Anyways, the thing is, I want to get all dressed up and wear a great dress, but I don t want a wedding. Weddings are unfathomably expensive and I can t imagine spending that much on just one big party, one night. Not to mention that I have anxiety, and the idea of having a whole night where so much attention is on me is terrifying. Walking down the isle, all eyes on me, then having to recite vows in front of a crowd?? No thank you. My idea of romantic is running into the courthouse, holding hands, and getting married with a big grin on my face, stress-free. But I also want to wear a totally amazing wedding dress. What to do?? Also, yes I know courthouse weddings are not stress free, I was with my older sister when she got married in one x3 But they're a lot LESS stressful from the perspective of someone with severe anxiety. |

Question: What do you think about getting engagement rings from pawn shops? Posted: 11 Apr 2016 07:08 AM PDT My boyfriend of three years and I have spent some time recently discussing marriage. We both are ready to get married but he wanted to surprise me with a proposal. I told him it can still be a surprise because we discussed having a wedding sometime next year so he pretty much has all this year to propose. He wanted to spend A LOT on an engagement ring and I told him I'd much rather save the money for the wedding than have an extravagant ring. I suggested looking at a pawn shop and he acted like that wasn't good enough and it would be bad luck to have a used ring. What do you think? |
