Question: What is wrong with this relationship expert? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 08:37 PM PDT Someone recommended this Kindle book on infidelity http://amzn.to/1UTbQu1 and dear lord... it's awful. If you did this, your wife would divorce you immediately and run to the other man! If you cheat, obviously you've already done something wrong. Don't make it worse. |
Question: Was I "spared" in not marrying this guy? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 08:35 PM PDT Last year I was dating a guy who wanted to marry me. I broke up with him and he immediately married his ex gf instead. I had no idea he got married so quickly after we broke up, because about 3 months later I called asking for him to come back to me, but he was already living with her. Fast forward a few months after that, he called me and asked me for a threesome with them because his wife is bisexual, and he said they're in an open marriage and do that all the time with her friends. I found this all to be extremely strange, seeing as I'm a straight monogamous woman, and had no idea he was that type of guy. I kindly told him to F*** off and I didn't hear from him for a couple months after that. He ended up calling me a second time "just to say hi" and I told him that he shouldn't be calling me if he's happily married. I haven't heard from him since. I am still a little heartbroken that this all transpired, and that I wasn't the one who married him. My friends all tell me that he would have cheated or opened our relationship if I did marry him, but I don't think he would have. Was I spared in not marrying this guy? |

Question: My family is angry at me? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 08:19 PM PDT Okay. I'm Jessica, 55 years old, (un)happily married, three kids. Life's great. Until of course, my children (and husband) began waking up at around 4:00 pm in the afternoon. So to fix this, I bought a few air horns, and have began waking them up with this. Now they do get up at 6:00 am. But waking them up with an air horn has become, well, apart of my morning routine. I can't stop. And they will not speak to me. |

Question: Wife says I'm not marriage material? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 06:51 PM PDT During an argument tonight, my wife told me I'm not marriage material. What could that mean. The only thing she said was "you know what I'm talking about," but I dont. |
Question: Remarriage to the same person after divorce? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 06:49 PM PDT Just curious if anyone has or has known anyone that divorced, and then years later remarried that same person? |
Posted: 13 Apr 2016 06:46 PM PDT Today this guy I like and I talked a little. He is married and has a crush on me. We talked about little things. Now I have seen his wife and let's just say he's not getting any at home. She does not take care of her self. Today I started talking about my dress. I told him it was a little big and cost $3 dollars. He started giggling and I said it fit sort of and for $3 you make it work. He goes "no not on a b..." And then just stopped and said I'm not gonna finish that. My friend thought it had to do with the fact that it was t tight and form fitting but just loose enough. I don't know what he meant but from what I see his wife wears "bigger" clothes than her body type and she's not Tiny. I know he what he wamts from me. My mom was wondering why be would even laugh. What do you think he meant or was thinking |

Posted: 13 Apr 2016 06:25 PM PDT Man- Screams at fiancee (wife at the time who was also 6 months pregnant) because a girl he was going to have sex with and made out with prior to their dating, was going to go to his birthday dinner. Screams at wife because she doesn't want girl to go. Also went to DC, a festival, and his father's birthday, with girl, even though wife and him were dating. Should wife either forgive him for this incident or should they break up? |
Question: How to walk out on my husband. I am sick and tired of him? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 06:21 PM PDT I am sick and tired of him and his infantile, lazy behavior. He does nothing for me - he never bought me a gift on Valentine's Day, nor did he did even bother buying me some lever back earrings that I longed for on my birthday last week. Luckily, he does have a job, but his hourly wage is only a dollar above minimum wage. He only works 36 hrs. a week - that's hardly full-time! Although I work 40 hrs. per work, I bust my behind working overtime because of my dedication and commitment to my job. He refuses to return to school or learn a trade, claiming he is satisfied with being a damn restaurant server at 29. Another problem I have with him is his physical appearance. He used to be physically fit and active in the first few years of dating, so attractive that women envied my relationship with him - yet within a short period of time, his looks deteriorated. Now he weighs enough to be classified as overweight. One major disagreement we're BOTH in disagreement with is having kids. He wants to have kids, but I don't want him to father my children because a child can't raise a child. Seriously, I want to give him a chance, but he doesn't listen to me!!!!! Another important detail I inadvertently omitted: Sometimes when he tries to get intimate with me - kiss me, stroke my hair, or offer to have sex, I decline his requests. Sometimes I have to pretend like I enjoy the sex, but in actuality I don't. I have a college degree, whereas he doesn't. |

Question: Unblocking ex's wife, bad idea or good? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 05:55 PM PDT Years ago, the chick my ex husband abandoned his son and I to be with tried to add me on Facebook. This infuriated me and I blocked her. I was still angry and bitter at the two of them at their adultery and now marriage. I am remarried, was remarried before them, but always have had an anger problem. Over the last year, I have found myself content with their marriage and really could care less. Should I unblock her on FB or just leave her blocked? I don't understand why she wanted to add me, does anyone understand that, either? |

Question: Fights about replying to text message? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 05:25 PM PDT I want to start by saying this argument is way out of hand and never should have gotten this far but it has and I don t know where to go with it. The other day I asked my husband why he hadn t responded to a simple text. He said it wasn t important to him. I explained that that made me feel like it meant I wasn t important to him. He was home had time to respond no honey do list or anything (and he s glued to the phone always) just simply chilling on the couch. He s not a big texter and I just wanted to understand why he was so inconsistent with responding. He told me that I know he hates texting and he d rather just get a call (get if I call he typically dosent answer). I explained I just wanted to understand and I would try to be more conscious of the whole situation and he blew up and said he d "burden the whole thing and bend to my wishes". In the end that meant to him that we would have no other means of communication with one another other than texting. I refused to play their game and when he texted me from two feet away I ignored it. He came around a bit and actually takes to me today and before I knew it he was getting upset that I hadn t read his text. I m sad and confused and need to find a way to end this ridiculous argument. I can t live with these childish solutions to problems (this is just one example of many) |
Posted: 13 Apr 2016 05:10 PM PDT Hypothetically, if I bring no assets to the marriage and I do not sign a prenuptial agreement, do I have to still pay my wife half of the stuff I will inherit from my parents? Say she divorces me right now and in 10 years I receive 5 million dollars worth of money from my dad's business upon his death. How would this scenario work in general? Would it be wiser to transfer a large sum of money to me AFTER marriage WITHOUT signing the agreement? Thanks in advance. |

Question: Why Do Women Want To Get Married So Badly? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 04:37 PM PDT My girlfriend of 7 years (19-26) just broke up with me because I didn't want to get married yet because we aren't financially ready to. She has 150k in student debt and no job and has never had a job. I have a good paying steady job, but still, I am not ready to be responsible for her student debt. She told me that she thinks I will never propose to her and she broke up with me and claims I am wasting her time. Why can't we just wait 2-3 more years and get married when we are in a better place financially? How does getting married change our relationship at all? She makes it seem like if we don't get married now, I'll never propose to her. I've tried explaining my side to her and she tunes me out and laughs at me. |
Posted: 13 Apr 2016 04:31 PM PDT We have a 2 year old daughter at home. My wife wants me to work a more "traditional" schedule of 8-5 M-F so that we can all eat dinner together. I currently work 10 AM - 8 PM Mon - Thu in the office, and work from home 10 AM - 3 PM on Fridays. Personally, I think this is AMAZING. I wake up at 7 AM every morning with my wife. I eat breakfast with her and our daughter. My wife drops our daughter at daycare on her way to work. After my wife and daughter leave, I go to the gym and head to work. My wife normally goes to the gym after work, before picking up our daughter. The downside: I miss dinner at home M-Th. This is what upsets my wife. But here are the upsides... I work from home on Fridays, and I get off at 3! Even on M-Th, the office is only 10 minutes away. This job rarely gives overtime work, it offers competitive compensation and benefits. Most "9-5" jobs in my field really are 8-6 on weekdays and some work on weekends. What's worse is that there are very few such jobs within a 30 min. commuting distance of us. If I have to commute an hour EACH WAY, I really wouldn't get home that much earlier than I do now....I also won't get to work out every day. I have tried explaining this to my wife, but she won't listen...I told her that no family is perfect like they are in the movies...it's not like I work nights or weekends. How else can I explain this to her? Forgot to mention....my wife works 9-3:30 M-F, reduced 30 hours. My Fridays at work (i.e. home office) are pretty chill, so I do get some things done around the house to lighten my wife's load some. |

Question: Ex husband is breaking custody agreement? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 04:09 PM PDT My ex husband is due to have our son this weekend. I have full custody of him. My ex has a new gf who lives in a different city I have never met her I don't know what goes on in her house and my ex-husband is taking my son there. Is there anything I can do to stop this since I am the custodial parent and I did not give him permission? The only reason I don't want him to go there is because I would like to meet the girl before my child spend a weekend at her house |
Question: My husband asked for a paternity test? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 04:08 PM PDT Our marriage has been a REALLY rocky road for a couple of years now. He was unfaithful to me about 2 years ago. We split & I was dating a co-worker in 2014 for a few months. My husband & I started dating again & decided to stick to counseling & work on our marriage in 2015. Even with all the problems, I still PLANNED this pregnancy to give our daughter a sibling. At first, he seemed happy, & said he had no doubts, but just last night, he asked for it. I m really upset. I m extremely stressed out, very sad & a little pissed off. I told him I wanted to get this over with & he said not to pressure him & that if I have nothing to worry about, I shouldn t feel that way, his words only piss me off more. Am I being hormonal for feeling stressed & sad? Is it wrong that I want to do it & get it over with? I feel like my joy is being taken. |
Question: Mom taking over as my son's mother, normal? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 03:42 PM PDT My mom adopted me as a young child. She never married, had any kids, and was never really attractive (obese). She is completely obsessed with gaining control of my children, mainly my oldest who is 9. He is from a prior marriage and she goes behind my back and signs his permission slips (comes into my home, grabs tests, permission slips, report cards, etc) and signs her name on them under "parent signature". I have repeatedly asked her to stop doing this, as the custody arrangement was set up by a judge that I am possessory and my ex is a co parent, not my mom. Since my ex isnt in the picture, she has taken over and goes and defies what my current hubby and I say. Why does she do this and how can we stop her? |

Posted: 13 Apr 2016 02:51 PM PDT My wife had an affair with her coworker and refused to go to couples therapy. Instead, she divorced me to chase this guy. She seems to have anger towards me and it seems random. She has the affair. She divorced me. I dont get why she is angry to me. We have kids that we have 50/50 custody of. I see her 2 or 3 times a week during drop offs. One time she will be rather pleasant, and then the next time i see her, she barely says a word to me and seems pissed. Help me understand. |

Question: Is it okay to take a trip with out my husband? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 02:36 PM PDT First off, my husband and I have been together for 8 years now. We have taken 1 vacation together about 3 years ago to see family back east for a week. We don't do date nights and if we do go out it is just to dinner as a family then back home. in this time (8 years) I have been away from them a total of 3 times, 2 business trips for work, and when my grandmother died. All totaling just over 2 weeks. He goes on work trips ALL the time. This year he decided that he wanted to take a trip with his friends to spring training. I told him that was fine as long as I got to go on one with out him and the kid. He agreed and went and had fun. I am just starting to plan my trip and he is throwing a fit because I want to go without him. My daughter is going back to Michigan this summer and he is telling me that if I take her there it would count as my vacation. When i tried to argue that he got mad and stormed off. There are no family finances going to pay for this, unlike his vacation. I am working a second job to pay for the entire thing. I am not asking him for a dime for this. I have not decided where I am going yet, but I know that it will most likely be out of the country. Am I wrong for wanting to do this with out him? I feel like I need time away from everything to regroup and de-stress but I don't want it to cause a fight. |
Question: I think my husband is sick of me? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 02:29 PM PDT I told him I wanted to wait until Marriage to have sex and he said he'd wait. We waited 3 years and he asked me to marry him and I said yes. And on out wedding night we tried to but I was in terrible pain and was bleeding all over the place and I was brawling my eyes out. And all he did was pull himself out and slam the guest room door shut. He slept in the guest room and I'm certain he watched porn. He apologized to me for doing that but he said it was because he was annoyed and hadn't had sex in years. We tried again and I was scared to death and crying to do it again but this time all he did was say don't even bother, I don't want to have sex with you if you're going to be like this. I told him I wanted to do, but he said no I don't. I tried again to get him to try with me and he said nope. I kept trying to tell him that I want to try and he ignored me. I can tell he's getting sick of me, how can I stop this? I don't want to disappoint my husband any longer. I DONT WANT HIM TO CHEAT ON ME BECAUSE IF GOD FORBID HE DOES I WILL BE DEVASTATED! PLEASE HELP ME! |

Question: Can anyone be truly married without first knowing love in the truth? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 09:56 AM PDT "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." (1 John 4:7-8) |
Question: Do you think this is weird/childish? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 09:02 AM PDT I understand people have their own lives with school, work, children etc. however, I feel like with some friends of mine I'm always the one to reach out to them whether it's to call them to say hello, or send a text to see how they are doing, or get together. If I don't reach out to them, I don't hear from them at all. I've gotten pretty sick of it & downloaded an "app" where you can store phone numbers privately. I did this for a handful of people just to see if they would in fact reach out to me. So far it's been WEEKS & I've heard nothing from any of them. I just don't want to be tempted to "text them/run after them" constantly Do you think this is a bit childish? Be honest? I just want to figure out who's TRUELY there for me & who is not |
Question: Should I tell my fiance that I been cheating on him for more than a year or not? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 08:18 AM PDT Pretty much I ve been carrying on a secret relationship or affair with the guy that I was seeing before I got into a relationship with my current fiancé. I have tried several times to cut him off and be faithful to my fiancé but I always wind up back with my extra guy, whether it s because I still have feelings for him or whether he s threatened to expose pictures or videos of me. I honestly think that the reason I keep cheating is because of that above and because my current works so much and doesn t satisfy me sexually either. I know that a marriage doesn t work like this and even though we aren t married yet, like legally, I feel like we re working toward one and this isn t the way to do it. I feel so guilty. He s the perfect man for me except those two things. And I m so scared he s going to leave me and take our son from me, I don t know what to do! Please help me! |

Posted: 13 Apr 2016 07:13 AM PDT I have a friend, Steve, that I met at work about 7 years ago. He is like a brother.... We were both happily married. Steve would bring his daughter to work and would ask me to watch her if he was on a conference call.... Steve has taken another job and we talk on the phone occasionally. The following events took place which left me puzzled. - He told me he would talk about me at home and his wife told him she was tired of hearing it. - His daughter once said "if anything ever happens to my mom, I want to live with you." A 7 year old does not think about these things. - She also said "I think you 2 should get married." when we hugged goodbye on his last day of employment. - Steve claimed that I said I loved him. (I was talking about a movie). The next morning both he and his wife called me on the phone laughing that I had said I loved him. His wife was not upset that I had supposedly said that but she thought it was hilarious.I don't know what the purpose of calling me was. I thought it was very strange. I just don't understand the behaviors and comments. What do you think? Please do not comment if you have nothing valuable to say.. |

Question: I am not in love any more with my spouse,? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 05:43 AM PDT I have been married to my husband now for 20 yrs. The first 17 of them he was abusive and drunk. I was fed up and filed for divorce. He dated and I got jealous, I lost my home and my husband was dating and I just could not take it and called him up and he stopped drinking.. no drinking at all anymore. I think I missed a very big part of this marriage with this man being drunk all the time. I now realize that I really DONT love him. I love the way he treats me, he takes care of me and the kids but I really really want to be in love. But then again, I think love is never going to happen for me. I don t think I have been in love in a very long time. I don t know what to do.. well I do but I am so darn afraid.. I love being taken care of yet I really would love to be in love. I don t know how much more I can take of being married to a man I really don t love. |

Posted: 13 Apr 2016 05:06 AM PDT Today this guy I like and I talked a little. My mom was wondering why be would even laugh. What do you think he meant or was thinking |
Question: Girlfriend doesn't know if she wants to have sex before marriage? Posted: 13 Apr 2016 04:55 AM PDT I don't want to get married and there's a possibility that she wants to wait until marriage. I asked her if she wants to have sex before she gets married and she said "I don't know". Please don't bash me for not wanting to get married. It's a personal choice and quite frankly, it's nobody's business what I choose to do. The question is "what should I do?" I already told her that I have no intentions of getting married. I am not with her for only sex. Sex is one of the ways I show my love for somebody. Sex is not everything but it's super important. The problem comes in where i told her i don't want to get married but there's a chance she wants to wait until marriage, which means we probably would never have sex. |
