Question: Marriage problems. Appreciate any advice.? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 07:57 PM PDT My wife and I having been having a lot of trouble lately. For the past couple months she has been telling me she is not happy. I asked her why and she says because she is not sure if marriage was the right choice, this is three year later. She is tired of out routine together. We both are very hard workers and trying to save money to buy a home. Recently, she suspected me of cheating because of some text mesaages. But is was all work related. She thought I was lying about it. I ended of losing it and attempted to kick her out of the our place. Since we live in an in law unit with my parents, she got them involved and we seemed to have resolved the issue. I tell her to stay that I just lost my temper because everything we have been going through. She still left because she couldnt beloeve what i did. She left for a few days and came back. I made the mistake in doing this and regret it. We plan on seeing a counselor to resolve our issues. But now, her entire family knows about it and wants to talk to me. I feel like it s one thing after another and feel hopeless. Not only do we have to resolve our issues between each other but now I have to explain myself to her parents and siblings. I would appreciate any advice. |
Posted: 12 Apr 2016 07:43 PM PDT I love my wife. Let me say that first, she and I have been married for a year and a half. So we live in Provo Utah but I have been dealing with some stuff and so I took up very heavy drinking. When I was drinking I would pass out drunk and wake up hung over the next day, shower brush my teeth use mouth wash and go to classes/work. One night when drinking I fell and hit my head and broke both my legs, I fell down the stairs. Anyway I was given some pain medicine and started taking it with alcohol and was rushed to the ER. I guess the final straw was when my wife tried to take my vodka away and I pushed her....I hate to admit that that happened. I do not like to think about what that does to her. I am experiencing night terrors from being abused as a child, was homeless for four years until a family from my church took me in. I am a damaged man wanting to get help but I don't want to deal with these feelings alone how do I get her back? I need her to be there with me when I go to counseling and I need her to be there when I get back. As you can tell from the question my wife left me and went to stay with her sister at her place. She said I need to think about us. How do I apologize and show I want to get better. Also she said she still loves me but won't talk to me until I am better, sober, and a loving person again. |

Question: Husband hid homemade flesh light.? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 06:48 PM PDT OK so this question is for married women that don't have a problem with their husband watching porn. If you have a problem with that please do not comment. I was helping him look for something and I found a flesh light that he made. I confronted him about it and he said that he had been using it for months. This really upset me. we are open about everything and he hid this from me. I don't care if he uses it, that is not the issue. I just don't like the fact that he hid it from me. We have ordered toys together before so I feel as though making something homemade would not be any different . I just think he should have let me know. Ladies if you were in my situation how would you react? |

Question: I found a wedding ring in my boyfriends stuff.? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 06:47 PM PDT First off I WASN'T SPYING. I was looking for batteries and I remember seeing some in his night stand. So I opened the drawer and found the box. We've been together for 2 almost 3 years now. We're both in our second year of college and are both 23. I'm not sure what I should do. I'm mostly sure it's for a proposal. Should I tell him I know? Act surprised if he asks? I'm not sure if I'm ready for marriage. I love him but I'm not really ready to get married. But I love the idea of marriage but... I'm not sure. Basically any advice of any kind. XOXO Dawn |
Posted: 12 Apr 2016 06:12 PM PDT His parents have never once bothered to ask me if I'm okay with adopting them. These kids have a lot of issues. It's to the point where I don't want them around my kids. I know in my heart that I don't love them and that I could never adopt them.My husband mention it to me only ones that he would adopted them when we weren't even dating. He also failed to mention that they had all this behavior issues. Whenever I bring it up to him all he has to say is I made the decision before you. He makes me feel like I don't matter or his own kids because I made it very clear to him that I would divorce him instead of being stuck in a situation like that. I'm not sure if its best for my kids and myself to divorce him now. |
Posted: 12 Apr 2016 06:08 PM PDT Most women say that if a guy has a small penis (5 inches and under), that the only way to make up for it is to give oral. Does this imply that if the guy were well-endowed, he wouldn't have to give oral? |
Question: Should I marry this guy for free college? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 06:04 PM PDT I am a senior in high school. The college I am going to cost 52k per year, and I will be taking out 20k in loans each year, because they gave me about 30k in financial aid/scholorship. I am a very good student. So I will be about 80k in debt when I graduate so I worry like hell. But I met this guy through a relative and he's really nice, he graduated from a top university and is now making tons of money as an engineer at 28. He also has his own house and car. He said he really likes me and told my relative that if we marry he will pay for all my college fees. And the reason he never got a girlfriend in college is because he was too busy focusing on academics. EDIT: I have been poor all my life so my parents cant afford to pay anything. |

Question: My sister in law is so interfering into my personal life? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 03:06 PM PDT my SIL(30) is younger to my hubby(32) and older than me(28) she's married with a daughter of 5(lives in India).I'v been married for 18 months now(living in USA). from day 1 she's so interfering and irritating. You cannot avoid her questions at any rate. She'll even tell u what to eat and what chutney to make, about planning kids, what to wear when going out, about our finances, and she never bothers to give us some privacy, she calls in the middle of the night to us (newly) married couple without manners She always says what to do and what not to,all these yrs my hubby's family listened to her and she's like Ms-KNOW-IT-ALL.My husband is supportive but when i spoke to him regarding her interference he got defensive.she keeps asking for iphone and other stuff all the time.her demands are endless.I wanted to tell my MIL about this but my mom advised me against it. I really want to talk to her how her behaviour is bothering me but i'm in dilemma. I'm in the beginning of my married life and i dnt want to get bad. my hubby's cousin sisters get along so well and we talk for hours and my SIL is jealous of that too. She demands we call every week and ruins our sundays talking for hours and asking every detail to my hubby. He keeps imp info and shares usual topics and she even corrects and comments on those too.my MIL is otherwise sweet person except when she talks to her daughter she talks what SIL says.how do I stop my hubby from calling evry week?I spoke to him and it dnt end well. |
Posted: 12 Apr 2016 02:59 PM PDT Prior to my sister's divorce she agreed to cosign an unnecessary auto loan with her then husband. The debt is approximately $40,000. Though her ex is currently making payments to the lender in cash he has proven to be unreliable, volatile and manipulative. He has a poor education, a spotty work history and he is currently paid under the table. The vehicle is an impediment to my sister's ability to obtain credit, but my greatest fear is that his questionable behavior will eventually saddle her with the full responsibility of the debt. Since the divorce her ex has had run-ins with the law including a DUI. As he speaks only Spanish and I speak only English it is difficult for me to persuade him to sell the vehicle. My sister is unable to convince him to sell and he uses the predicament as a threat to cut off child support. My sister has finally concluded that the potential burden of the debt would be far worse that losing the meager assistance her ex provides. However, his unwillingness to cooperate has led us to seek an alternative solution. Helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. |
Question: How do you let your anger go toward your ex, who you have a child with? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 02:31 PM PDT I loved my ex. Looking back he was terrible to me. He wouldn't hold my hand. He wouldn't tell me he loved me. He didn't introduce me to his family. During our time together, I got pregnant. It was an accident, although ex thought it was on purpose. He kicked me out before our son was 1. I was so distraught I told him I was going to hurt myself. He didn't even try to help, ex just called police & I went to the hospital for 3 days. He didn't even call. Instead ex went to the court & filed for sole custody. Given the situation. he was granted majority time. Our son is now 8. Ex refuses to acknowledge my presence outside of pickups & drop-offs. He only communicates with me through text & email. I've asked him to include me in son's life more - like do a joint birthday party - and ex refuses. It just hurts so bad. I've gotten some parenting time back and now have EOW & extra time in the summer. My ex lives in a big house, has a great job and gets child support from me. I share a 1 bedroom with my son & am always behind in bills. If ex truly cared for our son, he wouldn't take support from me so I could get a place w/ 2 bedrooms. My ex is now married and has has two more kids. I won't even date - I don't trust men. I see a therapist (I'm diagnosed bipolar), & she wants me to let go of my anger. Ex dominates our conversations. How do I do that with someone I have a child with &l treats me like garbage? He did me so wrong, yet everything works out for him. |
Question: Cheating husband should I stay? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 02:28 PM PDT I recently found out my husband was cheating on me while we were dating. And when I was pregnant he went on a business trip and was on alot of dating websites looking for sex. I confronted him and told him I knew about it , he basically said he wouldnt do that anymore and that it was my fault. I love him and I dont think I can support my child without him, since I only make a cna's salary. I guess my question is should I stay or should I leave? |
Posted: 12 Apr 2016 02:16 PM PDT I guess what im trying to say is do we worry about making sure everything is right. and that we appear successful. Like we need the perfect Husband/Wife. The perfect Car, the Perfect Job. That we end up failing in that pursuit just because we strive so hard to achieve that... Like we never let ourselves wind down and miss the enjoyment...we stress about every detail to the point that we loose free will? Understand? |

Question: My friends are jealous of my son's car? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 01:47 PM PDT Hey everyone! So just last August my son had gotten his license. So my husband and I obviously wanted to buy him a car so we asked my son what he wanted and he said he'd wanted a BMW or Mercedes. Being as fortunate as we are, we had bought him a 2014 Mercedes which he has not crashed yet...and hopefully will not crash haha! Both my son and I share this car, as I take it to work in the evenings as I'm at waitress and work late nights so it works out so he can take it to school in the morning. So it isn't solely his car, but both of ours. Now my friends are well aware of this, yet continue to say cruel and rude things to me about it such as he doesn't deserve it or the classic "when I was young I didn't have... etc." What should I do about this? I don't know how to state it anymore to them. What is everyone's opinion? |

Question: Is my ex being unreasonable? Visitation compromising? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 01:42 PM PDT My kids are 8 and 10. I've had primary custody since we broke up 6 years ago. He has the kids every second weekend, every Wednesday from 5:30 to 8. Three weeks vacation in summer, alternating holidays and every father's day. School holidays such as spring break hadn't be included in the custody agreement. Next week there is a four day long weekend. I wanted to pick up the kids from school to go out of town on the Wednesday. I didn't want to leave super late to make the three hour drive to my grandparents cabin. I asked my ex if we could trade his Wednesday visitation for Tuesday instead of Wednesday. He said no, that he would be at my house at 5:30 as usual for his visitation. Now once he drops the kids off, and we get out of the city it will be close to midnight before we get there. Is he being unreasonable? As far as I know it shouldn't make a difference if it is Tuesday or Wednesday I did explain that to him. He is using our break up against me. He said that if I don't want to drive in the dark I can leave early tomorrow morning. He claims that he isn't be vindictive but that he doesn't want to get in the habit of changing schedules. Co-Parenting is all ready difficult because he plays the fun dad. :( |
Question: It seems that they talk about me and kinda playing me? Does she want to date me ? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 01:33 PM PDT This girl and I ,in our late 20's, from the same country. She knows that i never dated nor i've been out on a date with a girl. She used to attend this art school with me before she moved out. We talk a lot and I'm really nice to her and so caring, but she seems like changing her mind a lot. There's this guy who's a player and always try to flirt with different girls from our school. He saw me talking to her in the lobby and forced himself into our conversation , and used me to get closer to her. Long story short, we went out and he followed her to the station , also, i sometimes i see him texting her when we're out and tells her that he wished she was with us. Recently, couple of girls at school are interested in me, and he noticed that. She started to call me and seems happy to talk to me.We spend talking for long time, but if i ask her to hang out she might pretend that she didn't hear me.Sometimes, this player might ask me the exact same question that she asked me before and talks about some of my issue the exact way she does. I helped her moving out and into her new apt so i know where she lives, however , yesterday i was out with this guy and when we were around her building , he asked me to cross the street and it seemed that he knows her apt. complex. Then he asked me about her as if he doesn't meet her. I told him that i know that he meets her but he's playing me, and he started to deny it and stuff. Today , she called me and asked if i'm in city so we could have ice cream together . I didn't like that she think i'm dumb enough not to pick up clues. Also, when she's talking to me , she talks about marriage and acts as if she doesn't sees or hang out with guys, yet when she was at school she used to flirt with cute guys. It felt as if thing , if ever, happen in between us would be in a serious form like marriage . I like her so much, but she seem like she's playing me and mistaken my politness for being stupid. Now i asked her to hang out on thursday and she agreed. I have mixed feeling about her and this guy who i think saw her couple of times. One time, he said that she doesn't like that i don't fight for her. Even though, i was there for her and helped her throughout her toughest time and didn't tell no one as she requested, but she seems to tell them and guys take that as if i'm obsessed. Today , she tried to make me talk and it was so obvious he told her about yesterday's conversation. She gives me mixed impression sometimes i feel she likes me and sometimes i feel she just doesn't want me to ask those girls out. |

Question: Would you accept your inheritance from your abusive estranged family? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 01:04 PM PDT the physical abuser is deceased, but the enabler and emotional abuser of over two decades is alive and will never verbally admit to wrong doing or apologise. The money is enough to buy a nice, city centre apartment mortgage free - an investment that would make life in the future very comfortable. However, there will likely be strings attached in the form of vague contact here and there and I guess an understanding that all wrongdoing is overlooked. what would you do? |
Question: How do you know if you're a masochist? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 12:45 PM PDT I get turned on when my man is mad or yells at me. I used to like other things about me but he didn''t like them so I stopped, now I see through his eyes what I should be. |

Question: My husband never does anything right, what do I do? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 11:27 AM PDT I'm 27 and my husband is 30. We have 4 young kids and I'm 7 months pregnant with my 5th. I'm biracial and my husband is a typical white man. He's an only child and very close to his parents. His mom who I don't like comes at least 2 times a week sometimes without calling. She's rude and I try to avoid her as much as I can. I would rather my husband take the kids and visit them. I tell my husband that I don't want her in my house and he says he will talk to her but nothing comes of it. He's messy and always leaves out the milk and bread crumbs which I talk about every day! I'm tired of him not being serious. It's his fault that I'm pregnant he can't even pull out! We are moving because he got a higher position in another city and I'm not happy being away from my relatives and friends. I'm just so tired of him, what do I do? |

Question: I finally worked up my courage to step up for myself but now he's messing with my head.? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 09:30 AM PDT Ive been married for almost 3 yrs & lived with one another for almost 6 yrs. My husband has always been a workaholic but it has gotten worse. he quit his job & started his own company. He has 1 employee & his dad helps also. He is a mechanic & he wrks damn hard.no there is nothing wrong w/that. He just can't find the fine line between family&work. I have asked him to spend a weekend with us & do something fun he will tell me i'm to busy I have to work. There was a weekend I asked that night for him to spend time with me and he said no but later that night made plan with his friend for the next day. We have a son together he is 15 months he is the greatest thing that has happened. I would always tell him how I felt about needing time w/him but it never happened. I finally stood up for myself & told him exactly how I felt. I'm not a materialistic person & I show him how much I love him and appreciate him. For his birthday I got up early and made him breakfast before work & made a gift w/my son. He never does anything for my birthday he thinks a fancy dinner is enough but I had to plan it & invite people. I don't feel loved & I don't feel appreciated. I feel like he takes advantage of me, he gets dinner made & brought to him, laundry done & put away. I have spent a few nights down where I grew up with family. I found happiness there & I told him I was moving. We talked about separating while I was there came home the next day & now he acts like nothing happened What do I do |

Question: I've fallen for someone else, what should I do? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 03:19 AM PDT So here's the thing, I've been in a very miserable marriage for a few years now. I've learned that I made the biggest mistake of my life. Every single thing I say, my husband does the opposite and every time he makes a decision for us, it ends up getting us in really bad shape. We fight constantly (not physically) and we have lived in separate rooms now for 8 months. He was determined to do marriage counseling and even though I'm definitely over it, I went any way and we've been doing that for 3 months. My feelings have not changed, I've had more than enough and I'm not interested in staying in the marriage. So, he goes and tells his mom all kinds of things about me and says that I'm putting him in misery. Unbelievable! So in the meantime, I've fallen for someone else that I've known for quite some time. I have not cheated, not had sex with that person, kissed them or anything else that's considered cheating. I'm not sure what the best option is any more. Please don't give me rude answers because I've just had more than I can take. I want someone who respects me and can work with me, not against me. The man that I adore is the most sweet, caring, giving and understanding person I have ever met. When I look into his eyes, time stands still and I have never felt that for my current husband at all. I think about him constantly, it just feels like he is definitely the one for me. For the person who gave a rude answer despite it being on my question to not be rude, no he does not pay for things, so keep your sexist comments to yourself, no i'm not afraid to be single and yes we have a young child together. I have not moved because this is my house. |

Question: Why do men come up here and complain about their wife not giving them enough sex? Posted: 12 Apr 2016 01:18 AM PDT Is it ok for a man to bash his wife he says he loves for not having sex with him on demand? Is it ok for other men to advise him if she doesn't give enough sex to go cheat? Why does a man not think of the kids who are tuning around and they expect t have sex right then and there, is this ok for a healthy marriage or should women not care as much and act Like a man and have sex in front of the kids and go have sex with everyone then lie about it. Wouldn't this be a perfect life. |
