| Question: What should I do about this at school? Posted: 10 Nov 2015 05:18 PM PST every morning i go to the bathroom on the bottom floor of the school. Its quiet and relaxing before 1st period. last year i did it to. and these girls KNEW i was in the bathroom and they turned the light off and it would turn PITCH BLACK. So i had beef with the one girl because i was best friends with her best friend and she was jealous of our friendship so we got in a HUGE argument and we threatened each other. Now this year I thought we were fine but guess not. Because this morning she actually came in the bathroom,kicked the stall door open, ( her friend did, but shewas laughing an stuff) and then left and turned out the lights. The stall doors are soooo easy to kick open because there old. And I'm sick of it. I'm not gonna take time out of my day to report them I just want to get them back. I'm not going to another bathroom either because I like that bathroom because it's really quiet and no other ones are. Ive never turned out lights on someone in the bathroom because its rude, and immature.What should I do.?? |

Her husband is an orthopedic surgeon and she is the office manager for his Dr's office. Anyways my friend takes care of an old man. She's known him for years and he has no one else. She was mentioning today about how he drools and it draws ants. She also said a few more things about his physical condition and his bad habits. I commented about my cousin donald that used to drool and it made me sick and that I would lose weight eating around him and I kinda laughed. My friend and her husband chimed in and simply said "he couldn't help it" and I said I knew that. Were they misunderstanding or did they really think I was making fun of him? My friend also says things about the guy she takes care of and she laughs sometimes. So what's the difference? |

He said no why? I said you dont want to say hi to me no more he turned so red and got really nervouse and he said because I hadn't seen you. But It hurts me because I don't know if he likes me as a friend or if he likes me because he turns his head as soon as he sees me and turns red and gets nervous to talk to me can anyone please help? I have friend's and feel loved by my family, but there is this guy at my school that literally torments me. This guy has many friend's, almost everyone in school knows him, and most of all, HE'S HUGE! 6'2" and 200+ pounds. And for some reason, he chooses to pick on me, and has hit me many many times, too many to count. I've had bruises, cuts, swollen parts, everything you could think. I tried telling on him, but in the end he couldn't be convicted, because there was no "evidence", and I just made it worse for myself because afterwards he beat the living sh*t out of me... Any suggestions on what I can do? |

I completely support his decision, but he will be in the seminary for 12 years. Once he leaves, he will be stationed at a church somewhere in New York. I can't see him for twelve years, and he can't email me back since the Jesuits are extremely strict. Maybe after he gets out in twelve years I could go see him for a day in New York, but that's about it. I know some people won't agree with his decision to join the Jesuits, but that isn't what I'm asking. I'm asking how do I cope with him being gone? He means so mucb to me and he's like the father I never had. Please help! Thank you! |

She's always been immature (reads dork diaries in 7th grade, cries a lot, etc.) She's barely gone through puberty (no chest, hasn't started period). She's mad at me for the stupidest reason possible: bc instead of sitting by her, i sat with my best friend (who's a boy) on the bus. She thinks that i did made no effort to invite her to sit around me. I told her, you've sat with sydney (another girl on our bus) before and i wasn't mad. Then, she makes the most idiotic reply possible, saying, "At least i wasn't sitting with a boy." I'm not kidding, those were her exact words. I'm so sick and tired of always having to apologize first just so we can stop fighting bc of some stupid, immature thing. This is not her first time she's gotten mad at me for something so entirely stupid. I've talked to some of my best friends about it, and they said stuff like "big fat cry baby" and "immature" and "overreaction". Everyone knows she's acting stupid but her. I want to get this all off my chest and tell her, but she'll probably a) start crying b)get mad and scream on top of her lungs and wake up the bears from hibernation c) tell her dad/mom and then they'll call my parents and turn this into a huge deal d) tell the counselor. | Question: What can I do about my best friend? Posted: 10 Nov 2015 04:23 PM PST We've been best friends for 3 years. During that time, we were inseparable. Even when he went into the merchant marines we talked EVERY DAY. Things were great when he came back except: he got all guests banned from his house, he got in trouble at my college, he got a full-time job, he got ducked over by some people. Since then, he's pushed away nearly everyone but me. Lately, he's been taking more and more time to respond, even factoring in work, and he's never the initiator now. He's got an out of sight, out of mind mentality. I understand, but it still doesn't feel good. I've tried to give him a taste of his own medicine, but it didn't work, he doesn't initiate. Before you say "you're probably annoying him." He's told me outright that he likes it when I text him everyday. It's like a "hey, I'm still here" message and it makes him feel like someone cares. If I had to describe the feeling, I'd say it's like pushing a boulder up a hill. It's hard work to get a conversation, but once something clicks, the only thing that can stop the boulder from rolling downhill is his bed time (he has to get up really early), but sometimes he doesn't respond at all. You know when you know your friends so well that you can tell whether after a certain amount of time if they're going to respond at all? That's happening a lot lately with him not responding. I know I'm overreacting. Tell me why I'm overreacting. Tell me what to do. I don't want to feel like I'm losing my brother. |

Kind of sad because the person who wants to be around them enjoys being with them but the other person just doesn't care. I usually care about people but get ignored. I think I come off as trying too hard at time even though I don't care that much about it. People usually talk over me then. Someone I know is in general a lot less concerned about others and they love that person, hanging on their every word. Is being nice in general a bad thing? If so, how can you be nice and not get ignored? I don't really want to ignore people but it seems like it's the only way they'll care back. |

| Question: How can I meet people as a homeschooler in highschool? Posted: 10 Nov 2015 04:09 PM PST In eigth grade I was being bullied so badly that I had to be pulled out of school. A former friend told everyone some pretty terrible (and untrue) things about me and I just couldn't take it anymore. I have some amazing friends and everything, but since I am not seeing people every day it is pretty lonely. I do have a couple social outlets but these are mostly with people I'm already friends with. I really don't want to join a homeschool group because I find that most homeschoolers are extremely sheltered and don't know how to handle social situations. Of course, this is not to say that all or even most people are like this, these are just the people that I have seen or that I know personally. That being said, I'm not saying that I want people that smoke or drugs. Over the summer my boyfriend and I called things off, so I want to meet someone to have a potential relationship with, if possible. Obviously, having a boyfriend isn't the most important thing in my life or even close to it, but it is pretty fun. Also, I am not wanting to meet anybody over the Internet. Thanks in advance. |

However, there's a few kids who are anti gay, which means they don't like me. I don't honestly care but here's the whole story: I don't remember how everyone found out, but I remember them saying that it's "wrong" and "abnormal" and other crap. I ignored it for a little but then a kid said "Why are bisexual, it's disgusting?" And to me that's bullying. Not to mention the other kids then made fun of me for it, which is obviously bullying. The problem is, that one kid who said it's disgusting that I'm bisexual ignores me. He acted like I wasn't there, and so did his friends. But today my friend was able to talk to him and his friends about it. Good right? Well they said they'd never bully anyone and other bull like that. Well later on he asks me what he and his friends did that was considered bullying. It was right before class so I couldn't say much. He did say that he hates (homosexuality) and that it's not natural and other crap. But now my other friend wants to kick his a** but I don't know if I should let them do that, because I'm not sure if it was bullying. My question is: is saying that it's disgusting that I'm bisexual considered bullying? Not to mention he did ask my friend who is Christian why she'd be friends with someone LGBT. Note: I have 3 mental disorders and suffer from depression, anxiety, self harm and suicidal problems. |
| Posted: 10 Nov 2015 03:43 PM PST My daily routine is as follows, wake up, go to school, get ridiculed and put down constantly by the people that are supposed to be my friends, listen to boring teachers give boring lectures, go home, do homework, go to sleep. There is never any deviation. I don't go anywhere or do anything because I don't have any friends. Not a single one. The people I hang around with at school are all pretty horrible people, they constantly make fun of me for whatever reason they can think of. I've tried getting them to stop, but that just makes them do it more and care even less about how it might make me feel. I don't text anyone unless someone texts me asking for the answers to some homework, because that seems to be all that I'm good for. I've considered just giving up and not continuing life, because at this point there is no reason for me to wake up every morning just to wind up hating myself by lunchtime. |

He had family over upstairs and his 5 buddies and me (the only girl and youngest) in the basement. This was the first time meeting his friends. They were all around 24-25 and i am just shy of turning 21. Anyway, we settled downstairs and everyone was eating and watching tv. Then we got into a poker game and betted money. This was when the drinks came out. I was the third one to be out and i already had a beer, hard lemonade and a cup of vodca/fruit punch. I was joking around a lot and went to the other side to sit next to one of the guys who i enjoyed talking to (as a friend...everyone there was aware i had a bf). I would ask to look at his cards and he didnt seem to mind. Then i started calling everyone by nicknames like purple pants, flip, irishman etc. It was pretty funny in the beginning but then it just got waaayyy out of hand. Then my bf texted a few times and called. I remember him calling once and saying how i didnt want to talk to him bc we were in the middle of a fight and i was upset with him. |

At my classes,every freaking classmate talk or have funny conversations,they all have funny conversations together and I am in the corner leftout(well not because they didnt put me in but I dont freaking know what to say, to me they seem like fully grown people's conversation and I cant even have a normal conversation with little kids TT.) It makes me cry thinking,how I am spending my highschool days like a complete loser(Well I am a loser). So he quits and invents a new product. It's not a life saving technology but will easily make millions if not billions. He intends to you the money to do good works for society. But, he has no money so he teams up 50/50 with a private investor who pays for the development costs and he does the work. Upon almost finishing, the inventor contracts an incurable, terminal illness and has only weeks to live. The problem is that the investor is also greedy. If he leaves the invention to him, all the profit will be used to make himself wealthy which is against the inventors code of ethics. But, if he trashes it before his death, that is also unethical because the investor has paid for it. What should he do? There is no way to leave his half to anyone else. |

My ex started telling our friendship group that he was happy I ended it on a high note. A month after it ended his friends from back home sent me abusive messages, he condoned them and told me he was going to let people think I was a c. Some friends in our friendship group have been off with me and some have blanked me, I know this is because he is gossiping. I ended it because he was smothering, added friends of mine he hadn't met on facebook and always trailed me around. Now he is trying hard to become friends with people in our halls who I'm friends with and he isn't. How do I put a stop to this? I haven't risen to his level and don't plan on doing so, but he is making out I was horrible to him when it was more the other way round. If he doesn't like someone he makes stories up. One guy did nothing to him and he made out the guy was a piece of work. I had to stop it escalating when we were together. |

She was in a theatre/auditorium and in the very back of the picture was a woman dressed in white. The woman's skin was black so you couldn't see her face and her whole body was transparent. We talked about it for a little bit and decided it would be best to move on and forget about it. About a week later, she showed me another picture. She was on a swingset in a park by her house and the same woman stood in the back in someone's backyard and was wearing the same thing. Since it was in the daylight, I got a better viewing of the woman. It looked like she was carrying a black staff, but I wasn't sure. Even though it happened again, we both moved on and forgot about the incident. About a month went by and nothing had happened until school started again for us shortly. The woman began to appear in more pictures and my friend finally decided to stop taking pictures because she was afraid to see the woman in them. In every picture, the woman got closer and just a few days ago, she appeared in one of them again after I took a photo of her with one of her friends. What was really weird though was what happened last night and today. Last night, we were snap chatting normally and having a casual conversation and out of no where she started to send me videos of herself, but it wasn't her. Her eyes were white and it sounded like she was talking backwards, maybe in a different language. Today, she opened her locker and found a message written in it and I was with her when it happened. It spelled out in big letters, "the others." Please help, I don't know what to do or who to go to for help with this. |

She never lets him visit any of his friends and absolutely despises me. I get that she felt uncomfortable with him being so close to me since I am a woman. So I tried to respect that and give them some distance but she stops him from going anywhere with his guy friends and even his brother. Secondly she yells at him all the time. In public she will hurl insults at him like nobody's business. I know that my friend is insecure about certain things and she's aware as well but will constantly pick at those things to make him feel bad. Finally she is just straight up physically abusive with him. She scratches him and leaves bruises on him. She even broke his nose once. Height and weight wise they are pretty equal so she does end up doing serious damage. Im worried about him and tried talking to him but he says it just seems pathetic for him to complain about his girlfriend hitting him. I really want to reach out to him to stop this but he doesn't want help because he feels weak. What can I do? |

I ve been smoking every single day since my sophomore year, I started my senior year this year and I was taking dabs and poppin xannies before school each time. I ve become completely dependent on thc, it brings excitement to my life, just about anything is boring without it. I got caught at school recently and they sent me to rehab so I have to be clean. I m a month into my sobriety and I haven t been more depressed. I ve just been counting down the days until I can get high again, I don t know what to do with myself anymore. All my friends are potheads and my rehab tells me to make new friends but I have so much trouble doing that and everybody who doesn t smoke where I live are boring *******. I ve been told to go to NA meetings but that sounds like torture. I ve tried doing activities that used to make me happy but it s just not the same anymore. Life just seems so boring and pointless, and I just don t know what to do |

I have a partner and she is divorced.We are both female.The club is just to meet new friends to hang out with for lunch or whatever. We went for a coffee a while back and at first I thought she was quite a nice lady - she is 64 and I am 46 years old. We both have cats but other than that we don't have much in common at all. I met her again for lunch a few weeks later and she told me all the same stuff she had told me the first time, it's not that she is forgetful, it's just that she likes talking about herself a great deal.We had to move tables in the restaurant because she did not want to sit with her back to what was going on (but yet I had to sit with my back to everyone!). She emails me frequently and anything I tell her (like problems) she says she has had it much worse and plays down my issues making me feel silly.She can be quite blunt and this is not helpful. I am a very supportive person. I keep suggesting we meet again but she has made excuses yet tells me she has been out with other friends. This is ok with me but she then sends me loads of emails but I don't want a penpal, I want a friend who I can hang out with at weekends. I have actually ignored her last 2 emails, I don't really want to be friends because of the lack of common interests and as I said I don't want to be emailing all the time. I don't want to be awful and tell her how I feel and am not sure I owe it to her. What would you do? |

One of them is like completely in sync with me and we are like twins, and the other is more opposite but we work together you know? But she can be really opinionated and a bit rude at times but I am an can get past that. I've been friends longer with her but I instantly clicked and became inseparable from my "twin." But now I'm scared that they are going to become closer and I'm going to be left out all the time. This summer it already seemed like my longer friend was moving on and that they've evolved from our closed friend group which by no means is a bad thing and I've just begun to move with them, BUT I'm scared they're going to become closer and I'm going to be like squeezed out of the friendship. I'm taller then all of them and I wear more makeup then them and I also dress some what in more tighter clothes. I always get stranger guys coming up to me asking me for my number or whatever. My friends seem annoyed, they're like it's because of the way you dress and act, you seem like you want attention. For some reason, they're always gettkng annoyed. They always saying how I attract creeps and act slutty and crave attention. I don't mean to attract attention, it's just I love makeup and dressing up. But my friends hate that, they keep saying I should change and hate how they can't hang out with me in peace. I don't know how I just grab attention, I am a tall girl and something about me makes me stand out. I got offended because I feel like my friends are always attacking me and making me feel like im doing something wrong. I mean I love them and all but why they always bringing me up? | Question: Silly question, but should I remove a long time friend from Facebook? Posted: 10 Nov 2015 11:21 AM PST Ive known this person for 20 plus years and I thought we were good friends. I moved away and don't connect with her as much. I met her after 10 years and suddenly realized that she had never really been a good friend to me. I remembered a time when we were kids learning how to swim and I was afraid of the deep water. I attempted to face my fear and went into the deep water and almost drowned. I remember her just sitting there watching me and not doing anything as she saw me struggling frantically. I also remembered few other times which showed me that she had never really been a good friend as i had pictured her to be. She is on my Facebook, and never responds to any of my posts but will do so to her other friends. I feel like I should just remove her from my life altogether. Even though we have history, I don't see myself reconnecting with her again because I have changed my criteria for good friends. What would you advise ? |
