So I need help with my friend. Im not going to give you her ACTUALL name so lets just call her Lisa. So me and Lisa have been friends for the past 5 years we've been close but deep down I've always felt like a thrid wheel. But most recently I'm having a feeling that she just doesn't really care about me…..like if i moved away i feel like she wouldn't really care at all and would just forget about me. This year some new people came to our school and became friends with lisa fast. Now don't get me wrong i think that these new friends are awesome……i get along with them just fine but for some reason I've felt this year that lisa kind of threw me i the back seat and started to pay more attention to our new friends. I just feel left out. Like if i wanna go to her house i can't because either she has too many chores to do or she already has friends over and that she's only allowed to have a certain amount of people over…….. Also i get this feeling when we text too. I'll text her and she'll read but never respond or it will deliver ill ask her "Did u get my text?" And she'll say "I just didn't respond" And then what really ticks me off is when she reads my texts and doesn't respond but she'll respond to her boyfriends text on the group chat. And whenever we talk i always feel like she's just bored with me….like ill say something and she will say sarcastically "Wowwwww cool story" or "That literally makes no sense" And she's always in bad mood with me but no one else. Help?!

I m asking this so I can show my best friend . So if your best friend asked you to spend the night on a Friday night, right before said best friend was about to leave and not see you for a whole week, but you had already been invited to a party, would you ask the host of the party if you could bring your best friend, would you ditch the party and hangout with your best friend, or would you tell your best friend you would rather just go to the party, without them. Why? And if you asked the host if your best friend could go with you and the host said no, what would you do? Why?

I m not one of those kids who whines over a B (not to be racist in ANY shape or form) but we JUST starter the second semester/quarter and I got a B on a science unit test! I m devastated because that means I ll be at a B average for the quarter! My mom hates it when I get B s but I m pretty sad this time. I am getting annoyed with all of my friends, and I don't know why. I think it may have something to do with being stressed out lately about something which cause been causes me problems (biracial problems) but I'm not sure. I am(well, was at least) not an angry person. I didn't get mad fast, but now I do. I find that my friends often make fun of my eyebrows because they're so blonde, and always say I don't have any. Personally, as a natural blonde, I see my eyebrows quite clearly; maybe it's different to other people but it's pissing me off. Even when I color them in and you can CLEARLY see them, they still say 'you have no eyebrows.' Then when I say I put makeup on, it's like 'LOL You still can't see them' and they all gang up on me. My main friend who does it name is Hannah. Whenever I make a joke about her she flips out. It's not just that, but they make fun of everything else. My shoes(which are a beautiful pair of real leather moccasins), the way I walk, if I run they'll laugh, anything. I don't see how anything I do is funny. It's ******* annoying and I'm literally about to punch someone. They'll take photos of me and laugh, even if the photo isn't even funny, like if I'm just sitting there. What do I do? I'm so ******* tired of them. They are trustworthy, keep secrets, always defend me in fights, etc. but they bother me WAY too much and I don't know why... I do defend myself a lot and I do get mad at them but it doesn't work. I'm on the verge on punching Hannah. We became best friends the summer before 7th grade. Im currently in 8th grade) We were super close and told each other everything. Then in March she said she was moving to Wisconsin (8 hours away) and i was so sad! When she left i missed her so much and we texted everyday. In July i went up to stay with her for a week. When this school semester began I met this shy girl. For the 1st few weeks we didn't acknowledge each other but we became friends after being paired up for a project. After a few months of being friends I started to like her, so after a month of liking her I decided to tell her and unfortunately she said she didn't feel the same. after that it was a little awkward, she ignored me for a bit, she wouldn't look in my direction, physically kept her distance and wouldn't reply to my messages. But the thing is I don't know where to go from here. I still like her.. alot but I'm happy we're talking again. I really want to find out where we stand and why she rejected me, but I feel like if I ask it'll just make things awkward again. I'm 24 years old and I used to drink a lot. Not to the point where I have a six pack for breakfast but usually after work I'd have like 2-3 beers. But on the weekends I would get hammered Friday and Saturday with friends. That has been the case pretty much since I was 17. About a month ago I quit because I was honestly just sick of it. Ever since then I don't really enjoy social things at all. I don't mind stopping by a friends and chatting for a little bit on the porch or something but that's about it. I just rather be alone, like walking my dog, go to the gym, going for drives out in the country, or watching tv. I tried going to a party and not drinking and it felt lame as hell. I was real bored. I even went to my friends cookout and I was real quiet and felt awkward. Why is this? I feel like its gonna get worse when I finally give up cigarettes.

(SORTA LONG) So to start things off, I'm not really reliable. I joined and quit school sports because they weren't my thing/I wasn't interested in them, and I'm not allowed to just go anywhere whenever I want because of my strict parents. Having said that, I told my friend this at the start of our friendship, as I do my other friends. Me and her became really close. But when she asks me to do something with her such as after school sports, I tell her I can't assure anything since I would have to ask my mom (which also is the cause of me flaking out last minute most of the time) anyway, I come back to school the next day and she flat out ignores me. She's done this several times for things I told her I had no control over. I only find out what she's mad about through a third friend in our circle that she tells stuff to when she's ignoring me. Then she'll suddenly start talking to me again like I'm don't have the right to be upset over her randomly ignoring me then talking to me again. It's flat out childish and annoying. When I try to talk to her face to face she gives me the worst attitude. I don't know if I want to stop being friends with her but if she keeps this up I don't think I'll have a choice. What should I do.

I'm 15, and I LOVE bluegrass music! I am a huge fan of it, and it's pretty much all I listen to anymore. I have a friend (a guy) who I really like, and he sort of likes bluegrass, but never listens to it unless he's with me. I have an idea how to make him a fan of it, so he will listen to it when he's by himself. I'll invite him over to listen to bluegrass in the basement where there is a computer and stereo for listening. There is also a couch that we could sit on together. I was going to lay back, then grab him, hold him next to me, and scratch his back while listening to it together. I would do this for about a half hour or so. Would that get him more into the music? I figured the emotional bond that I would create with him by scratching his back and cuddling him would help.

My friends never want to hangout when I ask but yet they still ask me to hangout? I know this doesn't sound like a big deal but it's annoying. Basically I feel like I have wait for someone to ask me to hangout and that I have no control of when I hangout with people. Do they hate me?

I'm kinda in a conflicting situation right now so I'd like some advice.. Basically my boyfriend and I broke up almost 2 months ago. I started noticing that although things were messy between him and I after the breakup, my 'best friend' was continuously throwing herself at him (Ex: I would offer her help with her homework during school and she would say she doesn't need it, but then text my ex asking for help with her homework). While we were dating my ex hated her, and still does, yet she KEPT throwing herself at him when we broke up. And I got very fed up with it and told her to stop because he doesn't even see her as a friend, but she got angry with me and told me I was lying. And basically the entire time I was dating him she would force herself into our plans, and he was very sick of it so I told her that we need more alone time, and she got angry with me and told my other friend that I was making it up to keep them apart (wtf) So him and I are on good terms, and he had shown me some of the texts she had sent him, in which she was telling him that he would find someone better and then asking him if there's anyone else he would consider dating (wtf) So to sum it up this girl who I considered a 'best friend' was throwing herself at my ex and trying to persuade him to move on. I've calmly told her I don't want to continue a friendship with her but she keeps saying that this is just a 'fight' and I'm gonna forgive her later... what should I say to her?

I moved schools mid September, I haven't seen my friend for well over a month and a half. We're still in the same city and have access to many types of communication, but she is never texting me. I always have to text her first, she doesn't keep the conversation going well. And it appears to me she gets a little defensive when I ask her things. And this has always bothered me: whenever I talk to her in person, she is ALWAYS texting / replying rapidly to whoever. Could it be I upset her? Or is it that we shouldn't be best friends anymore? She hurts me a ton of times, mostly mildy... I hide it very well, but I feel as if letting her go would hurt me even more. Sometimes I feel guilty for thinking about ending our friendship because she was one of the nicest people I know, like every holiday/bday she'd be the one to give me lots of gifts. Other than those days, she and I have dry air between us. What do you think? Is this friendship still worth hanging on to?

well everything seemed totally fine and i don't know what's happening but I'm in high school and after history I walk with two friends who are in a different class and a few days ago I haven't walked with them because I can't ever find them they usually would wait by my class and we'd meet up but they haven't. so today I saw them walking well kinda speed walking and so I caught up to them and was like hey guys and they just asked me how I found them and that they took a different route on purpose. I kinda had a realization moment and left. I don't know what I did though. we've all been friends for a few years now and I don't know if I did something wrong or if I'm annoying I don't know.

I have been like this pretty much my whole life. I work in a large kitchen and while there have a lot of friends however when I come home from work I pretty much spend most of the time alone. I am not married and do not have any kids. I have a friend who's all about money. She ONLY shops at high end stores and ONLY buys high end products and makes it known to EVERYONE. She will make comments about others like "Oh they buy cheap" or "Oh they must not care about how they look buying such cheap makeup." She judges people based upon how much money they make and assumes that if someone doesn't make a lot of money they are going nowhere in life. Frankly, I'm tired of it. I recently lost my job myself & I've been struggling financially. Recently, she made a really nasty comment "I'm sorry you don't know what it's like to work hard and have a full time job" and it really hurt me. She's a nurse who works 3 days a week 12 hours a day and makes around $65,000 per year. She still lives at home and her parents pay ALL of her bills for her so that she can save all of her money. I want to distance myself from her but I'm not sure how. Does money really make you "successful" and better in life? Thoughts? How do I distance myself without causing drama? I've considered blocking her via facebook & my phone but I feel like that will cause unnecessary drama Thoughts??

My friend is a smart guy and he often gets things quickly. But he's been avoiding me lately so I sent him a text meant as a double message. I said "Avoid and a void, two parts make a hole. The hole isn't whole until it is fully holy." He said "Sounds like instructions for making swiss cheese." I'm 17 years old and a junior in high school. It's pretty much too late to turn this around. I've been an outcast since I was in 2nd grade and it's lowered my self-esteem so much. The reason is that when I was younger, up until freshman year, I was very, VERY shy. I was the awkward girl, I would never talk and I stuck out because of that. Everyone hated me and gave me dirty looks. I never had any friends and I had to do everything alone, it gave me a hatred for school and everyone in it. I cried many times and I've been bullied SO MUCH. I've been called ugly, awkward, weird, been told I have a mental disorder and that's the reason for my shyness, which isn't true, etc. People told me such disgusting things I won't repeat some of them. I've had a really hard time but in 9th grade, I started to talk more and not care about what they think, now I don't care at all. It didn't help. Every time I talk, no one responds. I get ignored and it makes me feel so awkward and uncomfortable. I dread school every day. No one listens to me because of this label which has been there since I was very young. People give me dirty looks and find it an embarrassment to be seen near me, and I'm not even all that different. I love One Direction and there are a lot of people at my school who do too, but they just ignore me even if I'm talking about 1D nd find it weird that I of all people am a fan of theirs. Everything is just making me so depressed, I am so sick of this. I want to be home-schooled I'm 17 but I look and sound a few years younger. People in my own grade who I've been going to school with since 6th grade think I'm a freshman. They don't even know me. I feel invisible. No one gives me a chance and I'm sick of it all. I want to talk, I love to talk, actually and I want to have fun and have friends, be treated like everyone else is, I don't care about popularity or anything. I just want a decent high school experience. I guess besides the shyness, I am a little different from people at my school because most of them are into the latest dumb trends and listen to rap and hip-hop, say stuff like "yeet" and whatever else they say and I think all that is dumb. I'm a little smarter- I get straight A's and people think I'm weird for that... If you're going to give me a stupid answer, please leave and grow up. I don't have the time for it. I am 13 1/2 in Middle School and last year when i came here it was great the classes and even the bus. This year has been pretty difficult with the bus and the classes are still amazing. Since the beginning of the school year, some kid has been pushing my buttons and hes like 11 or 12 I am in 7th grade and i'm letting a 6th grader get on my nerves. He'll say things and i felt humiliated like always. I am a quiet and shy girl and also lonely. I'm not there to make friends but i'm also not there to make enemies. I feel like a complete loser for letting a 6th grader not only get on my nerves, but make me cry and shake from humiliation. The only thing good about that, is that i don't cry in front of them. I cried again today and it's just something that repeats time to time. Should i just move back to one of those small buses?

My mom doesnt give a crap about me and everytime i try to talk to her, she doesnt understand. Before you call me heartless, this is the hardest decision for me ever. This guy online, he is suicidal, but he is my friend. I help m, but its hard. I am always gentle especially when it comes to affection. My friends cat died last week and he started to cry so I held him and he eventually fell asleep on my lap. But then Jessica said its your turn to carry the bag, ( But I said I don't want to carry the bag because I have carried my own bag + my bag filled with art stuff) and then they forced me to carry it because they said that Kay helped you with the homework so you better carry her bag and then I did for a bit :( I felt bad after that ... Then Jessica said to me that I DONT LIKE PEOPLE LIKE THAT!!! I'm in 9th grade and this girl always saying **** to me like I won't slap the hoe I came to school to learn not feel suicidal Im fed up with the nonsense at school I tryed to kill myself 6 times in 8th grade now I really want to kill this ***** my cousin wants to fight her too she always says she getting her boyfriend on me and he a ***** cause everytime he ask me what I said to his girl and he is in 12th grade and he doesn't know me but he was taking a class with me because he failed he act like I won't kill him I carry a knife to school everyday because in the past people would jump me and I just wanna go to college I'm on honor roll and everything I'm just trynna become a rapper and go to school to be a technical engineer but I can't take the bullshit in the world growing up as a young black male I'm 14 and I don't want to go to jail for killing him and I don't have any friends that would help me because he has a squad its about 4 boys in my school plus him 5 and I try to tell the teachers they say nobody is going to bother me but they still do

I broke up with my ex-boyfriend because he was a cheater (at least 3 times!) and verbal abuser. Anyway, I saw him recently at a party and he cornered me in a hallway. He started getting agitated and then said we "had to get back together." I said "no" and started to walk away when he grabbed my arm and twisted. I broke free and kicked him as hard as I could right in the balls with my pointed cowgirl boots! After I rocked his babymakers, he fell down and puked while I stood over him and asked him if he could taste his nuts. His face was priceless! I guess I nailed him so hard his nuts swelled up to the size of oranges and one ruptured and had to be removed (I play college soccer so I know how to blast a ballsack!). I feel a little bad about what happened but he is now saying he never mess with a girl again and he even wears an athletic cup all the time to protect his remaining family jewel. My girlfriends on the soccer team now call me the "nut remover" and say I should hang up a fake pair of nuts like a hunting trophy on a tombstone background with the words "RIP Brian's Nuts-Destroyed By Girl Power" since I sent his nuts to "nut heaven." Other people say I should hang up a guy's athletic cup as a symbol of female power over male weakness (guy's nuts are so vulnerable and they need the extra protection). Any other good nicknames? And what should I hang up? The nuts? The cup? Both? The more names and ideas the better! Be creative! Just wish more girls could experience blasting a jerk's balls! It is such a great feeling seeing a supposedly tough guy go down with one kick. Must suck to have nuts. They are just two targets dangling between a guy's legs! One shot and it is all over.

I'm a senior and about to graduate, but I was just wondering...do the friendships made in high school last after you leave for college? Do they usually keep in touch? Or does everyone go their separate ways making new friends in college?

I have this one friend and she frequently asks me for favors and for me to do things for her that she would prefer not to do. Some examples of these things are like to bring her snacks to her dorm, or to straighten her hair for her, or to help her do her laundry. I always say yes, because I try to be a good friend and because if I try to say no, she starts to throw a fit and start to say that I don't do anything for her (even though I do). I tried to tell her no today and she made a big scene and told me I was a horrible friend. But my other friend that she asked said no and there were no questions asked. How do I become more like my other friend? Why does my friend feel like it's okay to throw a fit with me, but with my other friend, it doesn't matter? How could I make our relationship better for me? I'm almost 16 year old male. When I was at the age of 5, I was going outside to play with my friends. My former best friend (he was older than me) told me that he was a leader of one gang and since I was his best friend, he asked me to join his gang. I agreed to join the gang. That was the best time of my life. He told me if I'll gain much respect, he'll let me become a new leader of the gang. I was most active gang member besides him. 5 years later, when I gained enough respect to become a leader, I had noticed that there were many gang members who were jealous and wanted to get rid of me. One day they caught and forced me to give them oral sex. I had no other choice because they had weapons: bats, knives, brass knuckles, e.t.c. They told to my best friend (former gang leader) if he'll ever talk to me again, they'll do to him the same like they did to me. They took over the gang leadership and as a new leaders, they kicked me out from the gang. After that, I felt like there was no reason to live after getting kicked out from the gang. I lost all of my friends. My biggest dream is to come back and take revenge on them and free my former best friend. What do you all think about all of that? We were not the real street gang. There were no adults. The oldest gang members were 4 years older than me.

These 2 girls Im friends with have started being nasty to me. I thought maybe it was all in my head, as they are really nice sometimes, but today I saw that they had tagged each other in the comments of this Instagram photo which said, "when you & your friend see that b***h you hate" & mentioned my name. I have never done anything mean, I'm not a slut or anything. I want to give them the cold shoulder in real life & social media or does that make me a b?

I accidentally got my friend in trouble with her mother the other night, and I m not really sure how to apologize. My friend and I were at work (we work in a daycare), and I was room supervisor because I m 18 and she s 15. One of her other friends was in the same classroom as us, and my friend and her friend started horsing around a little after all of the kids were picked up. We were nearly done cleaning the room, so it wasn t going to keep us longer for them to mess around a bit, and I thought it was funny, so I took some pictures. Later I showed them to my friend s mother because I thought it would make her laugh, but then her mother got really angry that my friend had been fooling around while her mother was waiting in the car with my friends siblings. I tried to tell her mother that my friend and her friend weren t keeping us longer, but her mother just griped about it and was really angry. How should I apologize to my friend? I really didn t mean to get her in trouble. A giftcard, maybe?

None of my friends like to hang out. One of my friends is Christian and she's very religious and her parents are super strict and when I try to hang out with her she always says she has meetings to go to at church or her parents won't let her. Her parents are very strict about everything and they are very over protective. All of my other friends aren't like her, but they are very judgemental. I like to wear short shorts and crop tops and tank tops and bikinis and they're parents won't even let them dress like that. If I want to go to a concert and invite my friends their parents won't let them or if I want to go to the mall or to the beach their parents won't let them because they over protective or they don't even want to go. I have been friends with them for years and I like their personalities but I just think I'm different than all of them and none of us have ever hung out together and they're also the type of people who don't go to parties or anything like that. Should I make new friends who have the same interests as me and could I have some advice to solve my problem? Also my friend who is very religious only likes going to religious events.

I really hate when I really need and ask for it, people gjve me every reason why they can't *opposed to being honest and admitting that they just don't want to* but when I'm doing well by myself, those same folk all of a sudden have all of the free time in the world to offer unsolicited advice and help to the point where it becomes annoying. But if I tell them to stop or they're being annoying, they always respond with "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm only trying to help you."
