Okay, so my cousin lives in Paris, France and was at the restaurant that got attacked by terrorists a few hours before it happened. I only told 4 of my friends but I think one of them told other people because some people that I didn t even know knew about it are asking me about it saying " Oh yeah, everyone is saying your cousin lives in France." Which I promise is true. But I get this odd feeling that everyone thinks I m lying. What should I do?

My guy friend has been living with me so we spend a great amount of time together. Lately, he's been acting really flirty and caresses me like we're in a relationship with one another. He's very good looking and has an amazing body. We share a bathroom, so when he's in there taking a shower, I will just wait til he gets out and his dressed, but lately he's been wanting me to take showers with him to save water and I don't want to do that. I see him as my dorky brother that I go ATV, amusement parks, and snowmobiling with. I just don't see us in that context. He's 26 until the end of next month and I just turned 26. He grabs my hand in public when we go out somewhere and if we are going to cross the street, he holds onto it. He even kisses the back of it sometimes which I like but not all the time like he does. Its like he wants to be with me. I am afraid to say anything to him because he's my best friend and I just don't want to hurt him. How can I be nice about him doing what he is doing without being far out there that I don't like what he is doing? Could he be wanting a relationship with me and just acting like this to get a reaction out of me? When do I confront him about this issue? I don't want him to move out if I confront him about it either because I like having someone around the same age as me besides my parents. He's 6'5, athletic body, gorgeous facial features, and has dark hair and deep brown eyes. We met through mutual friends and just be close ever since we met.

I've been best friends with this girl...let's call her Deanna, since I was a kid. We are now seniors in high school, and we were close until junior year, when she refused to talk to me because she thought I was trying to steal her boyfriend. (I wasn't, I was friends with him since I was young and it should've been clear I had 0 interest in him) and then we became friends again recently. She became social, and kissed all the popular kids *** until she gained their respect. she acts like I dont exist. she almost worships most of them, and is exciting and interesting and talkative to them, but around me she has no interest in talking. People love her...I don't really understand why. but she treats me almost like dirt, she drives me to school and doesn't talk to me outside of that, she sends everyone messages like "I hope your day is wonderful :)" and never bothers to talk to me or be nice. I wished her luck at this game, and she just said thanks, like she couldn't care less. if anyone else said it shed scream thank you and compliment them. It really just puts me down. Am I just not interesting enough for her? Like it really lowers my self esteem especially when I talk to others. she treats everyone like royalty and completely neglects my existence. after I get my license i just don't plan on talking to her at all, but it just makes me feel terrible and uninteresting and not good enough for anyone.

I got to admit I am pretty immature and I am a senior. Everybody tells me I am annoying. I love to talk it's my passion to master social skills and be funny . I guess I talk really loud and ask immature stuff and blurt out stuff in class. People never really seemed to hate me in middle school but in highschool everybody hates me. This girl and I are , in our late 20's, from the same country. We both attend the same post-grad school, and she knows that i never dated nor had any relationships before. We started talking more and more, and whenever we're in school we might spend lots of times talking to each other. I always see her once a week as we both attend this complimentary class, we kinda text each other if we're gonna make it and stuff. Lately, she had stressful events as she was asked to move out of her apartment but she had nowhere to go, so i offered to rent a truck for her and helped her moving her furnitures to self-storage unit. I waited for her for like 2 hours in the truck while she had to meet a girl she promised to help long time ago. she cried couple of times bcz she doesn't know where to go. When we unload the furniture into the her storage, she was telling everyone she meets that i'm her hero. i walked her back to her old building and made sure she got a hotel room then went with her there and left when i made sure she got a room. I noticed that she hide her hard time from others but she share it with me, so i read somewhere that this means i'm in a friend-zone. I always compliment her perfumes and style , and she sometimes tells me that I'm so innocent and comfortable to talk to. But when we were in the cab towards her hotel, she told the cab driver that we're friends. One time she leaned forward to hug me but i was nervous, so after that she never tried to hug me But she might walk with me and we might walk out of school together after school and even have a quick dinner in fast food place. When she sees me she always seems so happy. i feel like i'm in friend-zone as she never hug me or made physical contact but again that's our culture and she might be scared that i don't hug girls as well. When she was moving out i asked her if she knows any other guy she's comfortable to call and she said just me and our mutual gay friend. i really love her so much and wish i could tell her that ,but not now as she has lots of problem and it's cheap to try to tell her now as if i'm taking advatage of her struggle to find a new apt . it's obvious that i like her and we even sometimes exchange warm looks if we do each others a favor , which melts down my heart . what shall i do ? i don't want to lose her nor to ruin our friendship . e.g. sometimes i buy coffee and donuts and then offer her to choose one and we always exchange this look as she looks kinda shy . and she always offers me whatever she has and seems happy that i took it, even in front other guys.

FYI I'm in 8th grade. Also, my home room has 3 grades in it. In home room not to long ago, my two friends looked through my sketchbook without me knowing. (I don't have anything inappropriate drawn there, but still, it's an invasion of privacy!) If you're an artist like me, you'll know that a sketchbook is like a diary. It's where all your emotions are spilled out onto a paper and molded into a representation of your current mindset. As you may guess, to most it is VERY private. My friends (6th graders) and I were sitting in home room and participating in the lesson as usual. When there was a lull in class, my friends took my sketchbook without me noticing and started to look through it where I couldn't see. Even though I had denied them access, my friends still tried. My sketchbook has sustained permanent physical damages because of them. After I'd noticed those two with my book, I quite literally sprinted over to them in a fuming rage. While they were flipping through my drawings, they were whispering hateful comments about my artwork. Unfortunately for me, the bell rang before I could reach them and they ran out the door. I've caught them nosing through my phone and purse before, but this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Should I unleash all my anger on these "friends" the next time we meet, or just kindly inform them that I'll be staying away from now on? Should I try giving them yet another chance?

So I m 12 and my brother and his friend are 18 and they "used" to do drugs and drink, my brother got caught and his friend said his brother had cancer and had to stay clean. The other night they mixed vodka and Gatorade together thinking I wouldn t know, but I smelled it and they spilled it every where and my brother puked . I told them I wouldn t tell, and I m not going to, kinda because I wanna try smoking weed, but my brother wouldn t let, and I know I m too young. They keep telling me that was the last time and there not doing any thing els. I think there lying but I wanna know for sure, is there a way I can tell if there lying or try to find evidence? So I'm a junior in high school and most of my guy friends like to take pictures of me when I'm off guard or something and I always tell them to delete it but I feel like they just think it's funny and I just hate it because it really pisses me off and because I'm really insecure with myself but I don't think they know that I am but I just want to know why do guys do this for ?

This week the Christmas lights are going to be turned on and there is a sort of street party down by the shops five minute walk away. My daughters friends mom asked if my daughter would like to come and said she would collect her but I got a text to say the roads are going to be closed so she said to meet them down there so I sent a text to say yes and where shall we meet them then she sent another to say to say for me to walk my daughter by the little shop there, I thought she would have assumed that I would come. It just seems a convenience for her daughter. I have known her for a few years now. What do you think? Hope I've made my self more clear this time.

So, there is this guy that I don't really know, but I know a lot about him from town rumors. He stares at me all the time and i usually don't stare back. I went on a date with one of his friends. We didn't do anything sexually, but everyone is teasing me about it because he was so awkward on our date. Anyway, I am just assuming that the guy that stares at me knows about this. Ok, so I was at this party and this mean girl was there and we were alone in the room arguing over who is hotter- Edward or Jacob- and then she got really mad and punched me in the face. I tried to punch her back but she grabbed my hair and dragged me outside and began punching so I remembered this video in health class about armadillo mode and I pretended to be dead. Well then she started FREAKING OUT and she tried CPR and stuff and she tried to feel my pulse but she was feeling on the opposite side of the wrist (she's kind of idiot) and decided I was dead... so then she pulled me to the pool and threw me in it! So then I did that float thing where you make your body a banana shape and she left and came back with her friend who was throwing the party and they were crying and freaking out... So they pulled me out of the pool and took me to this door that led to the basement... Anyway, after that I left and went home. I'm afraid that I will get in trouble for pretending to be dead, and I also want her to believe that she murdered me, what do I do now? So i was on "after school"(the app) and I saw some people who were talking about me and the size of my house. Anyway one person said, "its the big thing he has." what does that mean? and then another comment said, "#😂❤️❤️" and it got second top comment. What does that mean, and why is it second top comment?

I have two friends, and they both sit beside eachother in school. I hadn t noticed it until someone had pointed it out, but they both sit there all day and throw insults about just anything. For example, they were talking about a movie they saw and the smaller one said "I loved the ending of that movie" and then the taller one asked "why is that" to which he replied "because it was over" and followed by a fit of laughter. They both got the part of Marley for the school play as well because our teacher thinks it too. The problem is though that they seem to hate nearly anyone with a pulse and any time you come to them with something, it s greeted with shortlived cynicism and sarcasm, then they just sit and stare at nothing laughing to themselves.

Yesterday, I noticed that the profile picture on my friend's Skype had changed to the skype logo with a tie on it. What does it mean? They had a profile picture before. I checked again today, and theres nothing as their profile picture. It just says "Away", but prior to this, they usually had it on away. Have I been blocked? I don't see any question marks on it either. Never mind, the skype logo with the tie is still there.

However, this other girl whose paper was entirely copied from an article did not get into trouble at all. I don't understand why the prof's idea of plagiarism applied for me, but not for other people.

My friend has been going through a tough patch, not anything serious just boy issues, but she is kind of sad. I put a note in her locker to tell her how much i love her and how i am always there for her etc. I know she got it because i walked by as she was opening her locker. Nobody can understand that just because you are close to your friend, you are not the same person. Everybody thinks you are a troublemaker, too. A week after you and your best friend are in the computer lab, it is discovered that someone vandalized the school computers. You know it was your friend, but the school is blaming you! The principal has proof that you were in the lab because you sent an email to a teacher. Make notes about how this would affect you.  What would you do?  Is it possible to be judged fairly in this situation?  Would you believe that you were innocent until proven guilty?

I m pretty sure that she was talking about me to her boyfriend. She was saying how she doesn t take her birth control at normal time anymore because I take it at the same time, and it bothers her that I took her time, because it was hers. She was also saying how there are tons of little things throughout the day that bother her, but the birth control thing takes the cake. IM NOT TRYING TO SOUND MEAN AT ALL, but I'm trying to move on from one of my friends because we are so different now. We're both 15 and were best friends in middle school. Everyone called us twins because we were so similar; quiet, looked similar, etc. but last year I went through a lot and it changed me. I finally found who I am this year, and it's like she's still trying to be my 'twin' by doing some of the exact same things I do. And we have nothing in common. We have one class together and on the way to, from and during it we barely exchange ANY words because it is sooooo awkward and weird. I just feel so trapped because I want to join in with this other group of people, but I feel trapped and that she's still hanging onto me even though I know we need to go our separate ways. This semester is almost over and I know we don't have any more classes together after this, but I need advice on how to move on from 'friends' you are no longer close to in a nice way. All my life since now at my early 20's i've only known one thing humiliation..I was heavily bullied during my teenage years i was very thin and peaceful which made me an easy target.I was verbally abused by boys and girls and no girl wanted to date me whatsoever..I grew up with a lot of scars which affect my present life.My situation is much better but my scars are killing me i am unable to form friendships because i don't know how to deal with them and unable to approach girls easily since im not very confident with myself.On top of that people make fun of me and talk about me all the time i hate when people talk about you and make other people believe them especially when they have no clue about you whatsoever..Truth is i wanna change but i don't know how and appart from that everything is against me..I don't know from where and how to start over..Thank you...

I feel like a nobody. I am really depressed and my grades and my life feel like they are falling apart. Just as an example, today on the bus, my friend who got cut from the basketball team just like me sat next to me in the bus but some dude from the back yelled that the cool kids sit in the back of the bus. People are always dissing me and I feel like the underdog. I never had a girlfriend(I am above average looking) and am a freshman. I sit with unpopular kids at lunch but could easily sit with some popular friends on the table across. Should I do that and try to become popular?

My teacher called me to Read something on a PowerPoint in its entirety and I feel embarrassed because when I read I read slowly and quietly. People laughed at me when I read so I feel embarrassed. I'm shy so it makes me feel embarrassed.

My best friend and I have been friends for the longest time. We were always really close. Just recently, he got married and I attended the wedding. I was very happy for him and at first, the wife and I got along. We have so much in common. Not too long ago, there was some drama between the wife and my best friend and me. She found out that him and I used to briefly date and that got her really jealous and he texted me saying we couldn't be friends anymore and that really broke my heart. Before that, my best friend and the guy I'm dating (his guy bestfriend) went to my job to eat (I'm a waitress). I was told that she got jealous that I was there. I WAS WORKING SO THATS RIDICULOUS. I just feel like she doesn't like me, and I didn't do anything to her and I don't like how it's affecting my friendship with my best friend. I don't even talk to him anymore and it sucks. What should I do? Should I talk to him about it or?

This Friday it will be my 21st birthday and at first I was thinking of inviting some friends and having a get together but now as I think about I wouldnt mind going on a solo trip down the country. I have already invited my friends it wont be a problem cancelling it but I am not sure. I'm 16 & throughout my life whenever I join a clique or group, there is always at least 1 or 2 girls who are mean to me & do all they can to exclude me. I've never been able to hang with a group for more than a month or 2 because of this. I have been told I'm a bit of a push over, but I'm a really nice, smart, fun oerson, why does this keep happening?

So today I was freaking out about this project I have to show everyone in class today. I was freaking out, so she's like 'You'll be fine' and I'm just like I'm going to die, I'm going to embarrass myself so much. And she just laughed and told me good luck before we went to seprate classes. But these two girls were standing by the door, looking at us, and I already know they don't like me. (It's a long story, I don't want to get into it) Do they think I'm gay or something now? They gossip a lot so I'm kinda nervous. I have no romantic interest with my friend. At all. We haven't even known each other that long, just since the beginning of the year. Trust me, I don't like her like that. If she asked me out, I would say no. What should I do? Should I just forget about it? I don't even tell my friends I love them that often. Actually, that was only the third time I've ever said that to any friend. I'm kinda nervous

I recently moved to a new school and I thought I made friends but I guess they were just pretending to be interested with me. I still have people to sit with at lunch and talk to in class, but no one texts to me after school or wants to hang out. I barely ever get invited to things, and people just don t seem to like me most of the time. I don t know what to do and it just makes me really sad.

I am living in an apartment with 3 friends. The girl that I share a room with is great, we both have boyfriends but they rarely stay over, and if they do we make sure that s okay with the other person beforehand. However, one of my apartment mates--who i have already lived with for 2 years--has a boyfriend that is over at least 4 nights a week. Most of the time he spends almost ever night here, eating, studying (we re all in college), and hanging out with his girlfriend, who lives with us. I don t like this guy (they have an awful relationship), and while he s nice enough he and his girlfriend leave a mess, he s pretty loud, and he not only sleeps here, but then spends most of the next morning here as well. I ve dealt with this for two years already, as they ve been on and off since freshman year of college. I ve talked to her about it in the past (didn t end too well), and I think because we re not sharing a room anymore she thinks it s no big deal, or just doesn t care...but I am uncomfortable going into my own living room/kitchen (where they ALWAYS are), and I m starting to get really pissed off. Would it be rude to ask him to pay some rent? Thanks!

I'm 22 and senior at college. I have friends from school but they bore me and I don't really wanna hang out with them just for the sake of not being alone. (They hardly plan getting out anyways) I'm so sick being at home all the time. I don't have low self-esteem or anything. I do go out by myself but I'm all alone then too so what's changed? I feel like I'm wasting the best years of my life. But I wanna be with like minded people. I can't really say "can you be my friend?" to stranger. I guess there is no hope for me huh?

My parents expressed concern today when they brought up that I smelled like weed and they thought that I was high. I told them that I smoke marijuana almost everyday. They immediatley started freaking out, and I just don't even understand where they are coming from. I found it somewhat amusing because its just weed. I just feel bad because they were clearly upset and I just found it so funny. I honestly thought they knew I smoked weed and didn't care! Maybe it's my personal experience with other drugs and seeing friends suffer through drug addiction and other mental illnesses that have made me conclude that marijuana is a positive substance that can enhance certain peoples lives. I'm a junior in college, I have not been arrested yet, maintain good grades while keeping a job. I exercise daily, am very organized. These are just superficial things that I feel like i have to bring up so people don't judge me and think that i'm lazy. Now I don't care what people think about me, but I care about what they think about my character because I am always trying to be the best person I can be. This is how weed and other substances have changed my life. I have a very strong moral sense of right and wrong. I always put others before myself, I always share what I have to give, and I will always be there for those who need me. My sense of right and wrong tells me that weed is right. :) I just do not want to bother talking with my parents because we are coming from two different places.
