Question: How to make a man comfortable around you and build trust? Posted: 03 Jul 2019 09:00 PM PDT So I like this man but he is not opening up with me. It's been a month that we are talking to each other. How should I make him comfortable and how should I make that bridge of trust in between both of us? |
Posted: 03 Jul 2019 03:03 PM PDT I have met the love of my life. I love his family, my family loves him, and I couldn't imagine anyone better for me. We've been engaged for a year and are working through the last bit of wedding planning. However, a fact came up abruptly and randomly through a call from my fiancee's father. He was a self diagnosed alcoholic when he was a teenager and currently a devout Christian. He mentioned that we would be saving money on the rehearsal dinner and reception because there would be no alcohol. When my FI asked why he thought this, he explained that he was not comfortable with the idea of alcohol (not even wine *which is my favorite thing* or champagne) at either the reception or rehearsal dinner, and that if there was he would not attend. We had already planned on having an open wine/champagne/beer bar. I'm extremely upset over this, as he's come to be like a father to me and I can't imagine him not being there, but I also feel like he took control and didn't offer any other solutions on what is to be my FI and I's special day. Can someone give me advice on how to delicately handle this situation? |
Question: Can somebody help me come up with a wedding hashtag?? Posted: 03 Jul 2019 12:57 PM PDT My future surname will be Blurton! I need help coming up with a catchy, unique hashtag for people to use for pictures at our wedding! |
