I'm a 21 year old guy. Over the last couple months, I've become friends with a 16 year old girl at work. I trained her, and I've gotten to know her pretty well. Here's the thing, I think she's really cool and I'd like to hang out with her. She likes to go to the beach, I love to go to the beach too. We've talked about it. I was tempted to ask her if she wants to cruise with me and go to the beach with me sometime but I didn't. I'm afraid it will look "bad". Considering I'm a 21 year old man, and she's a 16 year old girl. I wouldn't make a move on her. I do have a crush on her, and I think she likes me too, but I have no intention on dating her, at this time anyway. Would it have been okay for me to have asked her if she would like me to take her to the beach? Any advice is very helpful.

It doesn't matter what I say, they focus on the negative side of it. I could literally say "I have to work today" and immediately my moms reaction would be "THAT'S FU*KING BULLSH!T." Why, mom? Everybody works. I'm 30, why wouldn't I? I could say I'm going on vacation and all they would say is "Make sure you ya e mace. Or you can use my taser in case someone tries to rob you." Why the **** would someone rob me on the beach? What are they gonna take? My swimming trunks?..... My brother calls me every day giving me all this unwanted advice I don't even remotely need, seeing as how I'm doing just fine in life and he's the one struggling. He constantly gives me suggestions like "you should sue your insurance company for this or that and get a check" why, dude? I have no reason to sue them.... or "hey dude I was just thinking, you should hang up drywall in your basement. I'll help you. You just buy everything." FU*KING WHY? I'm not worried about my basement, my basement is fine. And you can't do drywall, that's why someone had to tear all your down and redo it, you fu*king idiot... it's nonstop, just stupidity and negativity. I find it hard for me to stay happy because they constantly bug me. It makes me mad and ruins my whole day. They constantly call and text me. They're the most annoying people on earth. It happens to me that I like to enjoy other people's things more than my own. For example, I am a fan of radio receivers, I am 3 receivers, however I enjoy using my father's more than those of mine. My theory about this is that maybe I am too demanding with my own things, and as I am always finding some defect maybe that is the cause that prevents me from enjoying what is mine.
