I love him he's sweet he pursued me for over a year he actually fits the stereotype of a Latin lover (I'm asian) he's very romantic and I know in the past he was with a lot of women but I found out one of the girls he messed with is someone I know. Let's say he comes home and nonchalantly shows his girlfriend's son the DVD cover of an X-rated film he purchased on a street corner. He then plays it in the living room. She then gets home from work and walks into the living room. Even though her son is grown, is that inappropriate to do while he's currently in the house? FYI - she raised her son all by herself and had no male companionship until she met this man. Therefore, she fell for him despite his faults (such as what I mentioned) and doesn't say anything, as if it's okay to openly watch a porno movie in the living room (instead of privately in bedroom) while your girlfriend and her son are both home. Is he not the right man for her, or should the son butt out of the man's behavior makes him uncomfortable, since she spent his 18 years raising him with NO man in the house.

My mom is 65 years old. She doesn't have a lot of money. I make about $60,000 per year and I have no financial problems. I'm able to save a lot of the money I make. Each year I probably give my mom about $1,000 to pay for things. For example, this year I got her a phone, paid electricity bills, and paid everytime we got food together.

The girl is 13, bullied (physically and verbally) in class. She spends summer in her homeland again alone, cause she doesn't know anybody and no one of her family wants to keep her company. As she is about to leave she meets at the local harbor a guy who sells things. Cds, insurances... he is taciturn, sad, hurt, answers back only if it's about the merch he sells. He is calm and even though her dad insults him, he maintains his manners. He is blond, blue eyes, angel face speaks the same northern greek dialect she speaks. He doesn't look greek, he is like her. Minority. He has three thick scars on his arm and the girl cant stop staring at his eyes. He stares back too. A fat man shouts at him calling him 'oh boy!' And scolds him. He has to go. The girl blushes and is about to cry cause she never felt like this before. What was that? Love, humanity, affinity? She cries cause she'll never see him again, then the song from james blunt reminds her 'it's time to face the truth, I will never be with you'. Suddenly the guy becomes all that she ever missed. She forgot for a second the insults, the broken hand, the bullying, the discrimination. But what was that? Simple infatuation? It was like they always knew and needed each other.

So, I like k-pop. I use to like to tell people about it because music is a big part of my life and I thought they would be interested. I've liked k-pop for around 3-4 years and it seems that anytime I tell someone about it they think I'm weird or just talk about how bad the music/people in the k-pop world are or mention that it's weird to listen to music you don't understand. When people who don't know I like k-pop ask what music I like I now just say pop or rap but if I'm with someone I know and someone asks they instantly blurt out "she likes k-pop. It's Korean pop." And the people who ask either don't talk about it or know what it is and say "oh isn't that those boy groups where they all look like girls." All the negativity has made me really try hard to hide that part of my life from everyone out of fear of being criticized more. Why do people feel the need to put down others music preferences? I love k-pop and really would like to meet just one person who doesn't criticize my music preference and put me down. It's especially annoying when I listen to other people's music that I don't particularly like without any complaint. So, yeah. I would really like to know why I get put down for liking pop that just happens to be Korean.

Im pregnant and due August 12. My bf and I live together in an apartment but we've been struggling to make ends meet living paycheck to paycheck. He's busting his butt with 3 jobs and we still don't make enough to have extra money for anything I need. He's constantly borrowing from friends when we can't have groceries or enough for bills. Living condition is bad. No furniture in our apartment and it's bug infested. Our lease isn't up until December. I travel 4 days out of the week for work and he works day and night. Our family lives back home in FL beside one aunt who lives 45-60 mins away so once the baby is here I'm afraid we won't have anyone to watch her while we work unless baby is left w/aunt 4 days in a stretch each week but I think that's too much! Daycare is too expensive for us and he won't be able to pick her up with the hours he works. We've been trying for different jobs but no luck yet and there's nothing that pays more around here. We have debt and it only seems to be getting worse. I just don't know what to do 😓 what would you do?

Why do ppl stare and even relatives try to shame me now that I have brought home a beautiful Philippina gal who is amazing and we have a kid together. Why do these people in NYC try to shame me? Are they being jealous or racist?

I have a friend, I and she have lived together 4 years as we are studying abroad together. We've started a new life together and been through a lot of bad and good things together. Even When she need to borrow my money for school fee, I gave the money to her without hesitating. And she also stayed with me for free, I have no problem with that. I also never rush her to pay my money back. She is a good person. She cares about everyone. But her attitude and behavior to me and only me lately is so freaking weird. She seems fine to everyone else. The way she acts like i did something wrong even i didn't and it's very different from before. It's like she doesn't want to share, talk and make joke and have fun with me as before. Now to me she's like somebody else and i cant talk normal or make joke and laugh with her anymore. I did talk serious to her but she said it's ok, nothing happened. I'm so upset. I dont even know what's happening between us. I don't know what to do, It makes me so uncomfortable, it's like i am living with a stranger.

I dell for a guy who is a street seller. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes and blond hair one can ever see. He is often sad and has a deceived absent look on his face, his eyes lit up when he saw me and when my mom said he was a nice guy for helping his parents. I see him like an angel and consider him the beginning and the end of all things, like life had brought me here just to meet him. I never felt such an attraction and admiration for someone the way I felt for him. If you ask me to choose between him and an actor, musicial , favourite sport player etc...or popular cute guy in town I would choose him without thinking. It's like we wer meant to be, just his eyes looking into mine remind me of the sky, the summer, all the beautiful things, compassion, love, affection, fate..they somehow remind me of religious/philosophic things. Why?
