Posted: 22 Jul 2019 10:52 PM PDT Ive been through so much hell in my current relationship and I've fight and pleaded with him for so many years.there was a point where we argued every single day. I think it's cause we are so different. The only thing we have in common is that we are both strong and dominant but it isn't good because he always wants to have the last word with me. Now I just feel myself emotionally disconnecting from my boyfriend altogether.its like he doesn't wanna better himself period. Its crazy because he acknowledges that he can have anger problems, a short temper, and the like. And instead of going to counseling or trying to improve himself he just goes " well maybe you need to be with a more passive man. This is who I am". Not only that but he has three kids by two woman. I have no kids. I'm not even all that physically attracted to him because he wears the same thing every single day. My bf is controlling also in a lot of ways. I'm on the verge of ending this relationship. I'm done fighting, trying. I've recently reconnected with my guy friend of 10 years who is the complete opposite. He's sweet, kind, soft, he's in tune with his emotions, easy to talk to, a good listener, he is my age (27). He's also funny. It was my first time laughing in years. The other night we talked until 3 am just catching up on each other's lives. He discussed his ex girlfriend who was just as inconsiderate and angry as my boyfriend. He said he wishes his ex would have been more affectionate. I was like " go figure, i wish my boyfriend would be more affectionate" He was like " my ex would get mad about everything. I was scared to say things to set her off." I was like "SAME. I literally walk on egg shells with my boyfriend trying not to trigger hi I texted my guy friend and was like "I should've got you with you 5 years ago lol. you're probably my soulmate or something. been with the wrong person this whole time lol" he was like " you're messing up out here lol". I was like " everything my boyfriend lacks you posess" and my guy friend was like " lol you didn't even like me back then." Then I jokingly said " you got buff that changes everything lol" and he started laughing. I was like " pretty sure you didn't like me either lol he jokingly said " that's the 20th century we in the 21st century. But I feel you. I'm not sure how we avoided romance I texted him a long paragraph about how he's a great person, friend, and confidant. i told him he's so intelligent that it's crazy and that he would have been a better match for me for sure . I told him how me and my boyfriend are so different and its almost like we resent each other in a sense because of it. but he might be right that i need someone passive. I told him he has a great vibe, he's funny and is postive and uplifting. he put a heart face next to the message my guy friend responded to the "romantic" text i wrote him after like 2 days and he said " my apologies for the late reply life has been moving really fast over the last few days, I just had some people cancel and I had to work overnight. " He works like 3 jobs, has his own buisnes I asked him what He thought about the text I sent and he was like " you shared a lot of feelings, it got emotional when you were talking about your compatiblity but nothing I can't handle. It was cool to discuss. He was like " you sent me a lot of messages which required me to take some time and thought before responding which allowed me to get side tracked by my crazy work life and a fleet truck deal thats finally closing. I asked him if He thought i was a hoe for saying i was more compatible with him then my boyfriend and he said " I think you realized i was a better match for you than your boyfriend and was curious if i felt the same way and how i would react. i think you started to feel a connection. that doesnt make you a hoe. hoe is a sexual term. all you did was feel. really you just stated facts. where is the lie? he also said " it's not wrong to reminscince. And if your S.O is below par it's not wrong to notice other people are demostrating better capabilities. It only becomes mischevious when you start asking someone out sending sexually targeted messages and trying to provoke someone sexually." he's back with his girlfriend who he claimed had anger issues like my boyfriend. I honestly need someone that is as kindhearted and soft as him. he's SUCH a good person and i've been depressed ever since he told me they rekindled things. I can't win for losing. starting to think my boyfriend is as good as its gonna get. The good guys NEVER like me. I was going to break up with my bf and hoped me and my guy friend could give it a shot i REALLY like him h my boyfriend is 35 and not nearly as intelligent as my guy friend. Everytime I hear him talk i'm like wow he's so smart and articulate it blows my mind. I think that's what draws me towards him the most. Of course my guy friend is good looking but i love his mind |
Question: Why do some people need to be in a relationship at all times? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 09:31 PM PDT For example, a woman's boyfriend of 3 years breaks up with her and she has a new one less than a week later. Same woman is married for over 10 years and starts dating before her divorce is even finalized. |

Question: Am I doing something wrong??? Help relationship advice? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 08:03 PM PDT So I am married to my husband for 6 years now. And we have 3 beautiful children. 2 of which is special needs. And requires full attention. We have a big age difference I'm 26 he's 38. He works full time at a call center overnight and I work part time retail 5/6 hrs 5 days a week. He makes most the income. Well I need help I'm exhausted! He feels like he does too much with watching the kids and working. he won't do anything besides take out the trash. So almost everyday I come home from work to a disaster of a home. Because he just nods off. Just to clean it and happen all over the next day. Well because my husband works over night he feels like he's doing too much. But I'm overwhelmed! I cook and none of the kids ever wants to eat the same then clean and clean the children. I do the Landry and most running around errands. Am I in the wrong for wanting him to help out a tiny bit more? And show our children a bit more love? |

Question: Why doesn't my husband love me anymore? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 05:39 PM PDT I am 7 months pregnant and have gained 50lbs. I am 5'4 and currently 205lbs. My husband is 6'5 and 220lbs so I feel very huge and disgusting. When I go out men still give me attention and say I look pretty. My husband no longer wants to hold my hand when we are in public or sometimes he makes up an excuse to stay in the car so he doesn't have to be seen with me in stores. He also never wants to cuddle, kiss, or make love. I asked him if he finds me attractive and he hesitates then says "you are bigger now but still pretty".....I literally feel like he finds me unattractive now. Last night I saw him looking at a magazine with naked in shape women. What should I do? |
Question: Why should a man get married? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 05:23 PM PDT I used to want to get married, but considering that over 50% of all marriages end in divorce, over 80% of divorces are initiated by the woman, and men usually lose their kids I don't see a tangible reason why a man would get married. Sure, he could do it for love and to be in the household with his family, but aren't those things that he can have without marriage? The risk of losing your kids, paying child support, and having to pay alimony is pretty scary when you factor in that you as a man can do everything right by your wife and kids and still lose them. |

Question: Husbands , when was the last time your wife told you that you were handsome ? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 03:58 PM PDT Please be honest when answering . I'm not interested in women's answers . If your wife never compliments you even though you are fit because you work out ( whereas she is overweight ) what are you supposed to do ? How to deal with the pain ? |
Question: What exactly happens on the filing side of a PFA? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 02:05 PM PDT My husband and I are fighting for custody of his 2 year old daughter. And yes, we have an attorney. This is just a general question. The mother told him if he signed over his rights, he could have his daughter for a weekend and could see her whenever he wanted, and if he didn't, she would make sure he loses custody. This was over text. We pursued it in court and now she put a PFA on my husband for false allegations. (We've always gone to his ex's house to see his daughter, never unsupervised, nor has she ever stayed with us.) His ex wife texted him stating that the PFA was filed. He wasn't served until that evening. Did she violate the PFA by telling my husband that she filed and it and he will be served? In my eyes, if he was really a threat, I wouldn't be telling him that he's going to be served a PFA, but that's just me. We can give his daughter a better life than she ever could because she's just so unstable and she has a history of putting groundless PFAs on members of her own family. |
Question: Who's right in this marriage problem and what is the solution? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 02:00 PM PDT My son is an extreme introvert; not by nature though, but because my wife encouraged him to stay indoors almost his entire life because she was afraid of child abduction and sexual predators. He's now 17 and he has no desire to get a job, get his license, make friends (he has none and pushes all of the ones I make him away), find romance/sex, or graduate high school. He is quite literally doing nothing most of his days (he will stare at the wall with music playing and do nothing). My wife's solution is to let him go through this "phase" and not do any intervention at all; just let him figure it out and accept him as he is since this is the life he's choosing. Her solution might be the most "accepting" and "unconditional love" but it is also making it so he's not going to be ready to be an adult when he turns 18. My solution is to force him out of this "phase" and do as much intervention as possible. Get him tutoring, get him new friends, get him a girlfriend, get him a therapist, get him driver's ed, get him an interview, and get him anything else he needs and force him to grow up. No Peter Pan in my house; just the work to develop into a nice young gentleman. I've tried her solution and all it does is maintain the issue. And every time we try my solution he pushes me away because his Mom's solution is "easier". He was diagnosed 7 years ago with a form of Asperger's BUT he was re-tested and they say he doesn't qualify any more (too high functioning). What should we do? |
Question: When is it considered too early? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 01:35 PM PDT When is it considered to be too early to be engaged or do you think there shouldn't be a set rule? My bf and I have only been together for 5 months but we are very serious about each other. He even mentioned getting married/starting a family couple times. I feel like I am prepared to start my own family, but the thought of him popping the question and getting married still makes me feel somewhat nervous. |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 12:48 PM PDT And to conceive their child, she insisted he inseminate her with a syringe. Isn't that all kind of sick to you? Why would either of them stay in the relationship? Not a troll attempt. I learned this from a friend who confessed his marital secrets while drunk. |
Question: How are teenagers getting married so young? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 12:41 PM PDT There is a girl in particular I'm asking about. She used to work at the store I do and she quit a while back but I was browsing Facebook and seen that she is now engaged to someone and she has only been out of high school for a couple of months since she graduated this year. Plus she already has a child, although I'm not sure if the man she is marrying is her child's father. The question I'm asking is how are young couples getting married when they haven't even graduated college or have a good paying job? |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 12:10 PM PDT You did what you have to do, then it's still your fault. |
Question: Any other women hate modern day feminism? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 12:05 PM PDT I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but I enjoy being a housewife and stay at home mom who's subservient to her husband. I believe men have their place and women have theirs. I believe it's the wife's duty to service her husband's needs sexually and satisfy him and cook for him and raise the children. Call me old fashioned but I don't understand the obsession with trying to get women to do everything men do. Maybe it was my Jewish upbringing that made me believe women are subordinate to men. My husband doesn't agree and thinks I'm crazy and doesn't understand it. We're both very liberal in other areas but this is the one issue where I'm conservative and vehemently disagree with the left. |
Question: Do you agree with my friends I’m being used and if so how? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 10:07 AM PDT I've been cheating with a married man whos 25 years older than me. He got a divorce from his wife and has a small son. We got married and now my friends don't talk to me which I really don't care. I'm 20 and he's 44. I think the age gap is weirding then out. My husband and I are also expecting a baby. I just really want to know if it sounds like I'm being used? |

Question: Married men – are you living in a house sized to please your wife? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 09:17 AM PDT I have notice 90% of men would be glad to live in a 30 x 40 garage with a bed in the corner and kitchenette and shower and toilet .. All the rest is just to make the wife happy Yet most women are never happy no matter what even when they get what they asked for they want something different after that. yeah 90% is high but it could be the guys i knew felt that way all the old tired guys wanting to down size life lots of good answers,,, I feel like I wish I could choose several |

Question: Can sexless marriages really be fixed? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 05:13 AM PDT My wife is a terrible prude and I've been without sex for years. I've stayed for the kids but don't know how much longer I can hold out as I have wants and needs. Is change possible? She has become really involved in church and views everything as dirty. Even if I snuggle up and touch her she rejects me and stays on Facebook. I'm not fat or out of shape. I'm not lazy and work hard for her and the kids. All she does is stay on her phone. Always on her phone. I try setting up date nights but it's always an excuse. |
Question: How long do you wait for a proposal after nearly 5 years together ? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 05:01 AM PDT I'm 29, been together for 4.5 years and live together. Told him at the beginning of the year I want to get engaged by the end of the year(don't think he took me seriously) We are planning a trip to Japan in September and I bring up the proposal thing and He got really annoyed saying he feels pressured and that every time I mention it, it makes him not want to propose even more. After I got upset He texted me saying he does want to marry me and have a house together one day but didn't give a time of when we will be engaged |
Question: Can I change my last name to my birth name after a divorce? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 03:47 AM PDT I am getting out of a toxic marriage and I would really love to change my last name back to my birth name. I was adopted and so of course my last name was changed to something different. I was just wondering if after a divorce instead of going to my adopted name if I could go to my birth name. Or would it be more complicated then that and more legal work? I'm in the state of Utah if that helps. |
Question: Should I take my husband's divorce threats seriously? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 01:42 AM PDT My husband likes to threaten divorce when he gets mad. But, he also tells me he loves me and I'm stuck with him. I feel like taking his threats seriously and looking for a good divorce attorney to fight for me. It's very stressful for me to have him say he loves me and wants to be with me forever, and the next day I'm the worst wife ever. Recently we visited family out of state. At first I was trying to figure out how to avoid the trip because every time we go, he puts me down in front of a relative. When we return, I voice my displeasure about being disrespected, and he yells at me about divorce. I didn't want to be the weird wife not going with my family so I went. Same thing happened again, he backstabbed me to the same relative and that person is joining him now on badmouthing me. Plus, upon return, he informed me he has also been badmouthing me to his friends and co-workers. I don't understand how he says he loves me and does this to me. He is narcissistic and thinks he has done nothing wrong. He thinks it's okay to badmouth me to everyone. He says he does everything for the family and I do nothing. We both work full-time out of the home and he says it doesn't matter that I do the laundry, take care of our children, etc. because in the future they'll be doing those things themselves. I always brag about him because I love him, but I get the opposite. I've told him I just want him to be nice. We have 2 kids. Should I take his threats seriously or work on this? |
Question: Help?!? I’m in a very tight spot? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 11:01 PM PDT My wife and I have been married for 15 years and I work far from home. She knows that I have sex with other women while I'm gone is frankly okay with it cause that's what gets me through the week. We have a small son at home as well. My one girlfriend who was on the pill got pregnant by me. I don't know how to tell my wife and not sure if I even should. What's the best way to tell my wife. Also I'm 45 and the girl I'm with is 20 |
Question: Is this comment made by my husband anything to be concerned about? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 04:27 PM PDT My husband and I are in our 40's with a family. The other day we talked to a girl in our neighborhood who is about 15. My husband then commented later "she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen". |
Question: Any married lady ever had a real old wealthy man pamper you? Posted: 20 Jul 2019 12:30 PM PDT was he a man hubby knows? still happening ? if the answer is NO then do not answer! |
