Posted: 29 Jul 2019 04:47 AM PDT I have move My roommate Tom has been mentally and verbally abusive for several years now. He has also tried to be quite controlling as well but I have managed to tell him off! What concerns me the most is that I am worried that my cat Elvis it s going to be upset because my roommate will not be moving with me. Elvis enjoys both of our company and Elvis has no one time almost as long as myself. Elvis is a diabetic cat and he is 13 years old. I cannot live in this situation anymore and I feel like I m in prison always being yelled at and always were there as a controversy about so many thanks. My roommate sleeps in the living room and I m in the bedroom and I have been living out of the bedroom for 8 years. Time does not want to work and has been saying that he is getting a job for the last 22 months now. Since that time began, I have been paying all of the rent and electric. I have congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation and I am disabled & elderly. Tom is 55 years old and I am going to be 64 this November. I get SSI. . Tom is also a big drinker I don t drink at all or smoke anything. Tom likes to do it all but I do not let him smoke in the apartment because of my condition. Like I said what concerns me most is the fact that Elvis likes time a lot and I m worried that Elvis is going to be distraught. I asked my butt and they said that all Elvis needs is you and that he will be all right! |
Question: Is it okay that I’m upset about this? Posted: 28 Jul 2019 11:47 PM PDT My boyfriend and I may possibly have a baby on the way and it is our first and we are quite young. We agreed we would wait until we knew for sure to tell but even then be picky about who knew right away. Neither of our parents know yet but he told his best friend which I was letting slide but then he told his girlfriend who neither of us are close to or like. I'm upset that someone so removed from our likes knows something to personal and important before I even had the chance to 1) actually find out for sure or 2) be able to even tell my own family or friends. My boyfriend doesn't see why I'm so sensitive. Thoughts? |

Question: What do you do when someone you love is diagnosed with cancer? Posted: 28 Jul 2019 08:05 AM PDT A family member I am very close with was recently diagnosed. I don't want to come around too often and have her think I'm hovering. But I also don't want to stay away if she wants me there. I don't want to ask too many questions (she is probably being asked the same questions over and over). I am beside myself with worry, but I don't want her to see me bawling my eyes out. But I don't want her to think I don't care. Any advise will be greatly appreciated! |
Posted: 25 Jul 2019 12:44 PM PDT I had texted him, and he hasn't replied since June 7th... I took all my things around May 20th from his place but later told him that it was not really a break up. I did that because he sort of forced me to stay at his place, longer than I could, and tried to force his will on me, and get his way often. When I left with my things. he told me that he'd really miss me but since then he has barely communicated I saw him last around June 2nd. Should I just not text him or reach out until he texts first. He hasn't made much effort at all to reach out, except for two short texts on 6/7/19. Hope do I get him back and work things out? I don't know how he had controlled himself to not reach out in over 50 days. Today is 7/25/2019. I don't know what to do. Please help!! |
