Question: What are the signs of a woman who feels like I’m trying control her? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 04:28 PM PDT And what does it mean if she posted a music video called {control} that says {give me your control} in the song. Does it mean she really want someone to control her? Is she saying she need someone to control her? |

Posted: 22 Jul 2019 03:30 PM PDT This guy and I hung out and we had sex once. Recently I told him my parents like him and want me to date him. He replied saying that he thinks us hooking up should just be a one-time thing but that he enjoyed our time together. He said that he didn't want me to think that this was going somewhere. Also that he thinks my pictures are stunning that he thinks I'm very attractive that my body is amazing. And that he will always accept my pictures with open arms. I replied telling him I don't want a relationship and that I just want sex. He replied telling me not to stop sending him pictures. What does that mean? |

Question: How to sense If someone is telling a fake apology and a real apology? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 02:00 PM PDT Can anyone give me examples on what a real apology is and a fake apology so I know that when I have friends I can tell if they are being sincere or not? Thank you! |
Question: Am I in love with my best friend? If so, should I tell her? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 01:31 PM PDT My friend and I have been friends for years, and we've gotten really close. We know everything about each other and call each other sisters. I think about her all the time and want to spend the rest of my life with her, and I feel like I'd do anything to protect her. I've also written and acted out in the Sims us being lovers or actual sisters (nothing incestuous). I'm afraid to tell her how I feel because I don't want to jeopardize our friendship. Plus, she's had issues with commitment when it comes to romantic relationships, so I don't want to put that on her shoulders. |
Question: I need help with this? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 11:31 AM PDT Is it ok for best friends to not talk to each other regularly? |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 11:01 AM PDT We're starting high school, and three of my friends and I want to create a new friend group. Our old groups have disbanded, and we've found that the four of us share many common interests. However, we have other friends who might want to join our group. We like them a lot, and we don't want to break ties with them, and we feel guilty since all of them are coming from a similar place of exclusion, but we're afraid that they'll ruin our group dynamic since they are different from us in a lot of ways, and similar priorities and interests between the four of us is what draws us to each other. How can we keep them from joining our group without making them feel left out, and without making them resentful? |

Question: Friend lied about giving me Xanax? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 10:22 AM PDT So I am 31 years old I have this friend who I've known for a few years. We went on vacation together and I took a picture of her in the water with her phone and as I clicked out of her camera, her text messages popped up. In her text messages she was telling someone how annoyed she was with me (I had been worried about getting to our flight on time bc of the gov shutdown) and in her text she wrote her she wants to just tell me to shut up about the government shut down and then sent her friend a video of me when I was drinking and wrote that I was drunk. (which I wasn't and who cares if I was, I'm not a biligerant drunk by any means) and the icing on the cake was when I saw the text that said "I gave her a Xanax, nurse Sara to the rescue." SHE DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME A XANAX. I called her right out on it, she said she meant to write "offered" me a Xanax but I don't think that's true bc she wrote "nurse Sara to the rescue" after. This is so childish, she felt bad but we haven't spoken since we got home and I feel like she's a really bad friend. Why lie about something like that, it's so bizarre. What do you think? |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 10:06 AM PDT I'm in my late 30's and having drinking buddies got too old for me. Like every guy I would meet we may get drunk. Like me going to his place or him coming to mine. I still like to drink but I do it at a bar. |
Question: Am i actually really useless? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 09:42 AM PDT Ok so i am 13 and weigh 40 kgs, i am way thinner than all my friends, even though i eat quite a lot. my friends always mock me and tell me to gain weight. I'm not pretty ( all my friends are), I don't have boobs and I'm really insecure about everything about myself. honestly, i hate my body. all my friends are good at sports but I'm not, they make fun of that, even when i try my best. i am not good at art, and they are. i cannot sing. basically i cannot do anything. the only thing i am good at is studying. i am good at anything related to academics. i stand in 1st position in my year, but that does not matter. because i suck at everything else and my friends always remind me of that. |
Question: Is it ok when your friend degrades you in a "sarcastic" manner? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 09:24 AM PDT I have a friend, who I do talk to quite a bit, but never really liked because she's just too self absorbed and rude to other people. in our friendship group, we're always sarcastic with each other. but she is always the one telling me that I can't do this, I can't do that, I'm this, I'm that, etc while laughing. Is she just being sarcastic or does she actually mean it? |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 09:00 AM PDT so basically i was at my friends house having a sleepover and she has a baby and i really want it and so basically when we went to sleep i told her i have to go and when she went to her room i grabbed the baby and tried to leave the house with it because i want it and i ran home with it and my friend saw and screamed at me to give it back and i ran to my door and she chased me so i called her a jerk and threw the baby on the floor and stomped on it and she screamed at me and i laughed and said she deserves it. i told her i'm so sorry and now she's ignoring me and doesn't talk to me anymore. |
Question: Will I be charged for hotel damages? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 08:09 AM PDT So my friend had a bit of a rough night after we had drinks and she got sick in the couch pull out bed. We stripped the sheets and put them in a bag so the workers wouldn't have to touch that with an apology and tip. Nothing got on the mattress and I took the duvet away in case this happened. She apologized profusely to us and I'd hate to see us get like a $200 damage fee for 10 cent sheets |
Question: A good friend of mine, whenever we get together, she gets too drunk? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 07:28 AM PDT My friend, known her my whole life, hasn't been dealt a good hand. Her mother passed away when we were very young and her father passed away while we were in college. She married one of my best friends, they have 2 kids. We have a large group of friends from early childhood thru high school and we all still keep in touch, get together and hang out. We are all about 35-36. Every time we get together, weather its just two couples having dinner or a large group at the lake for the weekend, she gets bombed. She goes from happy buzz to a bitter emotional and sometimes angry drunk very quickly. She gives her husband a hard time and criticizes a lot of his actions in front of me, which I really don't like. Its been going on for over 10 years, I feel bad, dont like seeing her like this, wish she wouldn't get drunk like this. My friend, her husband, it must be easier for him to let her be than to speak up and say something. There is no way I would let my wife behave like this. Do we as a group or maybe a select few say something to her, do we say something to him? Anyone have experience like this? |
Question: Is it possible that he might have sex with me again? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 07:12 AM PDT This guy and I hung out and we had sex. After I told him my parents like him and want me to date him. Question: Would you think if you hadn't heard from someone for six months they were your friend? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 06:24 AM PDT I told a so called friend I had broken my wrist. As a result I didn't hear from her for six months. The only reason I ever heard from again is because I sent her text about her deceased sister's birthday. I only receive text from this so called friend, and maybe twice a year she'll call me. If I call her I get voicemail & then she'll text me saying she'll call that night, but she never does. Now it's been close to two weeks since I sent her a text. I made the mistake of saying I was depressed about something, so she's ignored my text & not sent any back. She suffers from depression much more than me, so I don't get why she throws others away if they have a problem or gets a little depressed. When & if she sends me a text I'm not going to answer back, or I'll take a long, long time before I do. I'm amazed sometimes how she'll say this is from your best friend. Are you kidding me, what makes her think or say something so stupid? |
Question: How to know if someone is a true friend? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 06:18 AM PDT So these past couple of weeks, I had so many events going on from like coming back from a long trip, family emergency like a robbery at my house, passings and etc. I told one of my friends about my situation and wanted to be left alone and she was there for me and said she understands what i'm going through but when I didn't message her back for 5 days she gets mad at me and starts writing immature status on snapchat that is suppose to be towards me calling me a shitty friend for my actions for not responding, and calling me rude etc. when I clearly told her I wanted to be left alone for a couple of days figuring stuff out. She did randomly unfollowed me on everything on social media which I don't understand. But I did apologize to her for my absence but she still kept calling me a shitty friend for my actions when she clearly said she understands my situation and my reasons on why I wanted to be left alone. Now she's talking to me nicely which I'm confused if she's a good friend or a bad friend I should cut off. |
Question: My friend gets drunk to cover her pain.? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 06:07 AM PDT My friend committed to a marathon at the beginning of this year and was super pumped, raised money for the charity she's running with and got everyone's support. Even though it happens all the time, she learned she's seriously injured recently and can't run at all for the rest of the year, so won't be able to run the marathon. She can deffer it to run next year, and to ME it it doesn't seem like the worst thing in the world, but we got together last weekend she was so upset, she got crazy drunk and wanted me to get drunk with her! I had to cut the night short since my getting drunk days are looooong over (she's married and in her mid 40s and I'm almost 40). I also don't want to be out drinking all night because I go running and train on the weekends and it's not fun anymore to feel hungover and crappy the next day!! I can suggest we do something during the day maybe, but she always has a bar stop planned somewhere in the mix. I'm not sure if the marathon mess and her injury are the only reasons she's getting wasted all the time (and she smokes pot a lot with her hubby) but how can I tell her I don't want to go to bars and get drunk without sounding like a flake? |
Question: I need help with this? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 05:38 AM PDT Is it bad if you don't talk to your friends much only when they text you first or call you first and they still care about you and they say they're not going anywhere |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 04:02 AM PDT This guy and I hung out and we had sex. After I told him my parents like him and want me to date him. And he replied telling me not to stop sending him pictures though. Really? It doesn't make sense that he wants my pictures but doesn't want sex. The only reason why I told him about my parents is because sometimes they see him at the store where he works. And I wanted him to be prepared in case if they addressed him in a certain way. But I honestly do not want a relationship with him. As I also hookup with another guy but it's long distance. |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 12:11 AM PDT I have a mentally ill and homeless friend (he works a lot but he chooses to sleep in his van to save money). He has no family here in the U.S. as he claims they were all killed in a horrific earthquake in another country. He has told me due to his mental illness, he sometimes just ups and leaves without a trace. About a month ago, he had a difficult issue and he became quite distant. Then all of a sudden, he cut off his phone services and doesn't park his van in the same place anymore. He gave me no notice and just disappeared. Again, he has a history of doing stuff like this and even warned me it might happen with him. But he was my friend for a good while and I miss him and want to make sure he is ok. He doesn't have any family or friends that I am aware of here and I have no other way to reach out to him as he has no social media or friends or anyone. I can't go to the police either, because he lives here on an expired visa. So, I guess I am just out of options. Do you think there is a possibility he will try to get in touch with me again? He does know where I live and he knows my number |
Question: Best friend being unfair ? Am i trippin or is he ? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 12:00 AM PDT Idk if this will make much sense but bear with me lol. So me and this boy (we'll call him Jordan) grew up together and were very close friends our whole lives. we started dating in our teens but he had to move for a couple years to help his sick grandparent and we decided to mutually part ways but to remain friends. while he was gone i met a guy (we'll call him ryan) we became long distance best friends. Fast forward, Jordan comes back and within a few months we're together again and more serious than before. Ryan and Jordan both know about each other and have no animosity, just positivity. Ryan will call me when i'm on dates with Jordan, at work, or while i'm sleeping. I'm battling depression and on antidepressants that make me sleepy and i'm still getting used to them so i take frequent naps. Ryan knows all of this but when i miss his calls he throws a fit and leaves me voicemails trying to start arguments, sends me long texts about everything i'm doing wrong and etc. it's getting really annoying because who wants to go back and forth with a grown man ? i don't have the energy lol. we're too grown for this. Then when i apologize he says stuff to try and make me feel bad. We've been best friends for 5 years now. He has a girlfriend but he's treating me like i'm his girlfriend. he demands i call him even if i'm busy or else he says we won't be friends anymore. he doesn't even need anything, he just wants to talk because he's bored and it's getting out of hand. thoughts? |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 10:59 PM PDT My friend sent me a photo of his wife at the grocery store buying some vegetables. Because he knows I like green food. But it made me wonder about something. I never noticed her arms were bigger than I thought. I'm just wondering if there muscles and I never knew she had them. Are these muscles or not. I couldn't tell. Maybe someone who can discern it can let me know. My friend doesn't know that sending this to me got me horny. Only because I had no idea she had these muscles. But maybe someone can tell me and confirm if these are really muscles or not. Look at photo |
Question: Do you think I went too far teasing my friend? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 10:10 PM PDT One of my friend is rather nerdy and shy. He does not like to go out with us much and instead he prefers to watch cartoons and play with lego on the weekends. So today he was talking about Legos again and i remembered that my 5 year old nephew loved Lego's as well so i suggested to him that perhaps they should meet and befriend each other... obviously i was teasing him and all my friends laughed about it.. he just nodded and said yes it would be cool if he would befriend my nephew(he just played along). This is just one example.. i always like to pull his legs for fun. But I am not going too far here? its normal for friends to have fun right |

Question: What to do about this friendship? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 09:20 PM PDT We have been friends for 3 years however there will be no contact unless I instigate contact either text, email or talking in person. I always plan the hangouts and am always the one to make the suggestion and when we do hangout it is very brief and he always seems to be in a rush to get home and get.more involved with his other friends. When he does visit I feel it's out of convince or duty since we always try to meet when he comes home for the summer. I have always put more effort into the friendship and even though he says he will try he never emails, calls or texts. I thought I should mention that he began the friendship with me first. |
Question: I had sex with my sister's friend? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 09:19 PM PDT So today I was watching tv and my sister came home with her friend from lunch. I'm 16 and my sister and her friend are 20. I find that my sisters friend is extremely hot and I get hard everytime I just take a look at her. Her name is Hannah and I have known her for close to my whole life. So anyways, today when she came to my house my sister went upstairs to go take a shower and me and my sisters friend were just sitting on the couch together and all of a sudden she turns to me and says did u know I always thought u were pretty attractive. And right then I started getting so hard and I was trying to hide it and I don't think she saw my ***** but she asked me if I found her attractive so I said of course and all of a sudden she leaned in and she started kissing me so I started back before I knew it she was unzipping my pants and she started sucking my dick I heard my sisters footsteps coming down the stairs and I knew I was screwed and when she saw she was so mad at me and her friend she kicked her friend out of the house and she hasn't talked to me in 3 days. Please help and tell me how I can make it cool between the two of us. |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:58 PM PDT I'm a 15 year old girl, I'm a freshman in high school, but I'm going to be a junior in august. I had three friends in middle school but I lost connection with them due to multiple different reasons. Since I basically lost all my middle school friends in freshman year, I knew I had to make new friends during freshman year. The problem is that I was basically the outcast. I sat alone at lunch the whole year, I couldn't talk to any one, and I was bullied every now and then by the popular kids. Any ways, I tried talking to people, but I either just got a little nervous thinking about it, felt nothing when I wasn't serious about talking to any one, or I just brushed it off completely. I just found it easier to avoid social interaction altogether. I even got nervous when I saw a classmate in the hallway which was pretty pathetic. I didn't even have the guts to say hi. Towards the middle of the year, I did talk to a foreign exchange student who transferred to my homeroom because I wanted a friend, but I was so nervous beyond belief. I even got nervous when I was making my way to her desk to talk to her. When I actually started talking to her I started shaking, along with my body my voice was shaky, and my body felt hot. Even though it was months ago I can remember it pretty well. If someone I don't know comes to talk to me, I feel a bit happy, but another part of me doesn't want to continue the conversation. Am I just rude, shy, introverted, or is something actually wrong with me?? |
Question: How do I stop getting mad when I get "killed" during a board game? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:35 PM PDT Sometimes my family and I go to a friend's house after church to play a board game with her and some other people from our church. I am very competitive, so I get irritated when I get sent back home to start, or when I lose the game. How can I learn to just enjoy the game with my family and friends instead of being a sore loser? |
Question: Is this too petty? or not petty enough? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:19 PM PDT I had a falling out with a friend, and I'm not yet at the part where I don't care. One thing I know theyve wanted to do for years is go see Fiona the hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo. I never really cared about it, but I have a week off before the end of summer. If I went and posted pics online of me doing something theyve always wanted to do, would that upset them just enough? Like its not direct enough to start drama in our unfortunately still mutual social circle, but is it enough to elicit some negative feelings because someone they don't like is doing something they've always really wanted to do? |
Question: Need friendship advice ASAP? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 06:53 PM PDT So, I have this friend that thinks she's entitled to know everything she asks. Like it's not okay for me to say I don't want to share. If I don't share, she accuses me of "hiding something and acting different" and she says she's done being friends . And she'll basically put me on the "back burner" . I'll give you an example of real situations. I was at Applebee's the other night and I have a lot going on it was a bad night for me, so we were texting and she asked about my night I said it wasn't so good and I feel emotionally drained. She asked for details and I told her I'd rather not share because she offer judges or makes my situations about her. She went on pressuring me to tell her and when I didn't she said I'm hiding things. And she asked again today about what was wrong that night. She questions her name being initials in my phone or If I change her name to last name or her number real actual nickname in my phone (which I often do to many people) she said the other day that she's going wants time together ( mind you I'm living my whole adult life with two kids) and when I say I'm busy or can't that night she gets mad. Then today I told her I don't owe her any of my personal business if I don't want to share it. Then she said that's different I than before because I used to and again I'm hiding something . This friendship is exhausting. Is it just me or does this seem pretty weird ? |
