Question: Why is this older woman trying to upset me and control me? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 03:14 PM PDT I became friends with this older woman at my church. She is in her fifties and I am twenty. I noticed she is very controlling, and and sometimes this upsets me because I feel like she gives me bad advice. She has just broke up with her boyfriend of six years. There was this guy I liked in my group at church and one night when I got drunk i told her I liked him. I said he messaged me and asked me to hang out, and showed her the message and she told me he didn't like me, and was just being friendly and that I shouldn't date anyone from church and focus on myself. The next day I was speaking to him and she told me after that he's very smiley and friendly and speaks to everyone. One time I was texting my friend and I saw she was glaring at me, then after the service she asked me who I was texting and told me I shouldn't be texting a guy. She can't have children, and is past that age, and she told me after getting drunk that I should have a one night stand, get pregnant and then give her the baby. When I'm at church helping out I see her just stood there glaring at me. It feels like I can't speak to anyone else in the church she always finds me and speaks to me the entire time She also gets angry with me. If I say something to upset or offend her, she will shout at me. I'm walking on eggshells in case she loses her temper with me and starts shouting at me. She also cross examined what I wear and tells me my skirt is too short. Why is my friend so controlling towards me? |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 02:05 PM PDT He replied that he is in his 50's. After talking for a little bit he told me he thinks about me all the time. He told me he had fallen for me. He has been following me for about 5 months. He is also married. A couple days later I ask him to leave me alone because I was unsure of what his intentions where. Do you think he wanted a relationship or just wanted to get some? I told him he has not fallen for me, that its lust. He told me no. He has never felt this way about anyone before. This situation made me so sick. My gut kept telling me he either wanted my money or sex, but I did wonder if he really did want a relationship. Not that I would do that either. He is blocked from all my social media. I blocked him once I told him to leave me alone. So he has no way to get a hold of me. We only talked for that one moment. Just enough for him to tell me all that creepy stuff. |
Question: Why does she keep staring? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 01:53 PM PDT I confronted this older lady about what she did that I didn't like. Trying to be mature and talk it out. Apparently, she's not that type of person to do that with. Every since I confronted her, she's been looking at me. Every time she walks past, she's looking at me. I ignore her but catch her looking through my peripheral. |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 01:43 PM PDT She doesn't want the commitment of dating but she wants him there to keep her from being/feeling lonely and to help her with her emotional problems with her friends/family. She's hung out with him in person a few times but she makes no efforts to get physical with him or even acknowledge his existence; their entire friendship is through texting when she's in her comfort zone and he's in his. He doesn't want an online relationship, she appears to only be interested in that even though they hang out in person. She won't send selfies, he will. She won't talk about personal feelings at all and says "we are still getting to know each other" even though it's been a month and she has made no effort to get to know him. They are both 17. What should the boy do to get the girl or ditch her since he's extreme friend zoned? |
Question: I think I'm gonna kill myself.? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 11:32 AM PDT I just can't go through life the way that I'm living anymore. I'm 14 years old, have a previous history of self harm, having even attempted suicide about a year ago. I live with my father, stepmom, grandparents, older sister, and brother in a government welfare home. It's tiny and we're so poor we can barely afford food even with food stamps. We can't get by and I share a crammed room with my siblings. I have essentially no friends and nobody in my family gets along. I feel so alone and trapped. The only time I leave my home is for work and church since it's summer. My siblings and I are treated so horribly by everyone in my home, at least for the small times that my dad and stepmother are home. The house is always a mess and nobody bothers to help out anymore. I've been living like this for three years now and I just can't go it alone for four more. I think the only way out is death. Please help. |
Question: Christians can you please pray that God will give me talents like the rest of my family? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 11:18 AM PDT It would have been better if I had been aborted but we are years too late on that. |
Question: Why would he tell me this? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 07:56 AM PDT Long story short, guy shared with us that his mom almost decided to join a convent before eventually finding and marrying his dad. Then he looked at me for my reaction? |
Question: Do you think it is ever to late to get away from an abusive person in your life? Posted: 22 Jul 2019 03:16 AM PDT Even if you are over sixty? I just don't know where to start.. I have no family to lean on as most of them have passed away an no friends as this man has isolated me from everyone. |
Posted: 22 Jul 2019 01:29 AM PDT I was studying/reading when this happened. This guy that did this to me is an acquaintance & I don't know him that well. After he touched me in this manner I felt weird down there. I think I might of been sexually assaulted but I'm unsure. |
Question: Why did he did that? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 10:40 PM PDT As I was in the treadmill a guy that works there came and talk to the women that was next to me. All of the time he kept on looking at me as if he was referring to me. When he was talking he just kept observing me the whole time he was there. Another time as he was walking in the hallway in front of me and there was a girl with shoe wheels making noises from behind. He kept on looking back to see who was making noises even if he already saw what was making noises he just kept turning around. |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 10:25 PM PDT so ive been with a guy for 4 years now and hes emotionally and mentally abusive and self centered only cares about himself and what he wants. He belittles me all the time and constantly fights with me and acts like hes not with me around other women. I've been wanting to leave the relationship but feel stuck. We signed a year lease together on an apartment and have not moved in yet or paid anything but the security deposit. And idk if I can break the lease I really don't want to move and be more miserable. Right now I'm lost on what to do because i moved out of state up here and have no friends or family around and not sure if i can afford a place on my own. I have a job but make only 230 a week |

Question: Why does he hide his girlfriend? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:23 PM PDT My ex and I have been broken up for 3 years this month. I am happily engaged, so trust that I am over my ex and have been for a while. I'm the type that realizes life is short and I like to make sure people are happy and doing well. I don't like to have bad blood between me and anybody, not even my ex's. Back then, he basically left me for somebody else, but that wasn't apparent until they actually got together 2 months after he left me. They ended up having a child together. A while back, I found his girlfriend's IG and at first, there were plenty of couple photos (her page is now private, by the way) and then after they had their son, the photos became just either their son or her and their son or him and their son, none of her and him anymore. For some reason, his cousin and I still follow each other on IG and because of that, his new IG showed up in my "suggestions" on IG. Jokingly, I follow requested his private profile and he accepted. I was kind of surprised. NONE of the photos are of him and her, just of him or of his kids. He doesn't mention her anywhere, but i know they're still together. Why does he feel the need to hide his girlfriend? I get the feeling he hid me, too. Before we had really broken up, he deleted all photos of us from IG. Lmao I'm not obsessed. I am completely over him. I barely think of him and haven't in a long time. I only thought about him because his profile showed up in my "suggestions" and I was curious. I'm not ending my relationship over an old loser who can't even show off his girlfriend. |
Question: Was it wrong what my parents did? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 07:21 PM PDT There was small fight between me and my cousin when we were young. We were fighting over a toy of mine. My cousin wanted to play with my toy so i gave her my toy to play. After sometime i wanted it back and she was like she likes it and it's hers now. Then we started fighting over the toy. Then my mom intervened and grabbed the toy and gave it to her. Then i started throwing tantrums and crying. Then my mom beat me up in front of everyone and everyone just looked on. Even my cousins parents too. It was because of their daughters mistake that i was beaten up badly and they didn't feel a thing. |

Question: What do you make of her? Posted: 20 Jul 2019 05:08 PM PDT Hi I am troubled by our new neighbors daughter Faith. My concern is that she is a bad influence on our Son. Faith is soon going to be eight and only a few months younger then Jacob. She is really a cutie who is most of the time wears very short dresses where her white underpants partly show. The way she is always dressed is not the issue. It is that Faith gets into trouble quite often and usually ends up over Daddys lap for a spanking. (three times in the last two weeks) Faith says she gets bumblebees (lots of stings) when she mention getting spanked. Her being in a short dress is then what troubles me. She gets plain and simple a panty spanking. She never has gotten punished in front of Jacob but he has seen Faith over her Daddy's knee and heard the few minutes of spanks. I think that she might be a poor influence on our Son? Do you agree? |
