Question: Why would my friend look at me like that? Is It normal thing guys do ? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:13 PM PDT I was beside my friend. When I started talking to him, I noticed that he was kind of hesitating to look at my eyes. He was trying to look at my eyes in the first seconds, but then he would look at my lips, again my eyes and again my lips. Only after looking at me like that, he established eye contact for some seconds. It is the first time he looks at me like that. What does It mean when a guy looks at you like this? |

Question: Boys keep talking about my body and it’s making me feel self conscious? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 03:36 PM PDT One day I was in the lunch line and when I was waiting to pay for it these two boys behind me, who I don't know, looked at me and one of them whispered to his friend "Whoa she is thick." And they thought I was out of earshot. I was not. Then the other one turned to him and said "Totally dOoD, she fine." And then I turned to them and glared the kind of glare that said WTF. And they both looked genuinely scared. I was disgusted because I'm only 14 and these other boys are in my grade too. After it I am feeling self conscious. This isn't the first time something like this has happened and I don't really know what to do about it. Any ideas? |
Question: Do you think that this person is my friend or have I made them hate me now? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 02:10 PM PDT I posted to someone who I once knew from school that I was lonely at uni and that I had no friends and that people were calling me names. I felt very down and under pressure at Uni when I did, and think that this person is angry at me now. Do you think this is good advice to what I posted, or do you think this person hates me? He responded: First of all you need to chill. You are not a retard. The dictionary definition does not apply to you because you are social and you know how to interact with people. Only you can change your loneliness. Throw caution to the wind. Join a club/society. Ignore those who insult you - you have dealt with worse at school. If you think you have no friends then you are wrong. Look up the definition of friend in a dictionary and apply it to people you know. It s not all about uni work. You need to put yourself out there and friends will come your way. Do you think that this is good advice, or do you think that the person who wrote it now hates me and is angry at me? They initially asked me how Uni was going, and I responded inappropriately, only saying how lonely/friendless I was there. I was suffering from some depression when I responded. Do you think both the way I responded to their message and their response to my (in hindsight) inapproprite response (stressing my loneliness/friendlessness) has made them hate me now? We haven t spoke since. Is this good advice, or is it blunt and are they effectively saying that they hate me now? |
Question: Whose more likely to have friends? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 01:53 PM PDT A person with Down syndrome or a person with Autism? |
Question: How can I apologize and make up with my friend after a fight? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 12:49 PM PDT The reason behind it was personal, but what started out as an argument escalated into a physical altercation and long story short we ended up hurting each other really bad, both physically and emotionally I don't know how he feels about it but I feel terrible I've apologized to him but I know that won't be enough How can I save our friendship? I don't want to lose my best friend |
Question: Feel sad with and without a friend? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 12:41 PM PDT I have this friend that always does things that make me upset. I don't think he really realizes it. For example, we celebrated 4th of july together yesterday, and he was texting other people and looking on his phone a lot of the time. It made me upset. But whenever he was talking to me, I was happy. However, whenever I'm not around him, I still feel sad and I miss him. It's like he makes me happy, but the irritated me and makes me sad at the same time. But then I'm sad even without him, and get jealous when I see him with other people. I don't know what to do about this. I really don't want to let him go, and I want to make our friendship work because I don't know what I'd do without him. But I want to stop feeling sad, irritated, and jealous. |
Question: Do you think he'll still want to have sex with me? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 10:10 AM PDT I've been hooking up with this guy who lives in another state for three years now. I really enjoy the sex with him the last time we saw each other was in October and he came to see me. I asked him recently if I could come to see him and he said yes and to get a hotel where he is. But I may not be able to go see him until December or the first of the year. I am going to ask him if it's ok for me to come then. |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 09:20 AM PDT Whatever I notice him staring at my bulge almost every time. And no I'm not wearing any tight pants I usually wear gym shorts all the time ! I really like him but don't no what steps to take or anything cause I don't wanna make it weird or ruin this friendship |
Question: Can a girl be friends with a guy when she has a boyfriend? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:36 AM PDT So I'm a guy and I dated a girl in the fall. We just didn't have the boyfriend girlfriend thing with each other. But since she was a co worker I wanted to keep it nice and be friends. Maybe hang out sometimes. I feel like she wants to, but feels "dirty" hanging out with me. I do have a much cooler car and everything else than her boyfriend. I definitely look threatening. Can a girl be friends with a guy when she has a boyfriend? I do still have feelings for her but I go out with other girls so it's all good. I just think she's a cool person and I'd like to hang out. I have class, I wouldn't hurt their relationship. |

Question: I have reconnected with an old friend? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 02:17 AM PDT We are going to meet for dinner haven't seen her for years she's suggested it. She's asked me at the last minute if I can pick her up. How would you feel about this? |
Question: Was he annoyed by me laughing? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 01:45 AM PDT My guy friend told me he likes my laugh before but today when I laughed, my guy friend said I have a different sense of humor. He said I laugh a lot. He has never said this before so I don't know if he was annoyed or what. I told him what he said was funny. |
Question: What to do when you’re friend is so drunk? Posted: 04 Jul 2019 10:51 PM PDT She had a bit too much, even after finishing up one whole bottle earlier the day. It's 4th of July, so it's all good. I never seen her get this messed up though, like, she's crying one moment and laughing the next, for no reason lol I'm not sure what's going on, but she can't mouth any word, except "f*ck" "who?" and "what?" What do I do, my other friends left already lol |
Question: What do you do when your parent calls your close friend fat? Posted: 04 Jul 2019 09:11 PM PDT My father is a traditional asian man and its kind of a common understanding that it is very common in asian countries to fat-shame. He was intoxicated and did not have control over his filter and I knew that if i tried to stop him he would get aggressive. I m trying to figure out what I could say to my friend to make her feel better or try to figure out a way to ebb the situation. I have no idea how to deal with this situation. |
Question: If you were me, would you be polite to this person who mistreated you? Posted: 04 Jul 2019 08:57 PM PDT I liked the same woman for 8 months. She went from telling me that she "liked" me" and "liked" talking to me to "What do you want to talk about?" and "I don't like how you're following me." One time when I tried to talk to her, she told me, "I want to get out of here" and left me in the room I was talking to her in. She "loved" the birthday presents I got her and read the card I wrote inside in and likely threw away the presents I got her. She ignored most of my text messages. She kept scheduling me without asking me and kept doing it until she moved to another department 2 months ago (she was one of my direct supervisors from last July to early May of this year). She NEVER told her older sister who I still work with, that I liked her at all and told her that I've been ignoring her for no reason. One guy in my department tried to physically attack me when I didn't even provoke him and she witnessed the whole incident and NEVER bothered to suspend him. She ended up taking a break with him and a few other employees a few days after that happened. I asked her out twice and the last time was to see a movie and she told me to see the movie I wanted to see with her by myself. Despite moving to another department 2 months ago, she STILL says, "Hi," to me even though I've been ignoring her since this past February. She has no idea how angry and depressed she's made me yet she acts like nothing is wrong when clearly I'm not interested in being nice to her period. |
Posted: 04 Jul 2019 08:43 PM PDT My best friend just turned 18 and was drinking at a Fourth of July party and ended up having sex with someone who is 21. She called me crying hysterically and freaking out. Her virginity has always been very important to her. Is there anything I can do to make her feel better? I've never had to deal with anything like this before so I am reaching out for help |
Question: I’m being excluded from my “friends” pre’s before a party? Posted: 04 Jul 2019 07:07 PM PDT I've (girl 16) been friends with this girl (also 16)for a while now but recently things have been weird between us. So we have a mutual friend who's turning 18 and invited us and a bunch of our other friends to his party. I've recently found out she's hosting a pre party before our friends birthday party and I wasn't invited. All of my other friends are invited. I also don't have a way there. I messaged her about it but she only responded with "ok".. |
