Question: Advice on a crush I have? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:45 PM PDT This guy I've known for a few months is like totally my type. I in all ways would love to be more than friends but he's still majorly caught up on his ex. He knows how I feel about him but we've stayed friends. Idk how to go further with him. His ex is completely in the past so that's not an issue except for the fact that he can't move on. Also Ik he's into me. Like he just can't move on. What do I do? Play the long game and stay friends or...? |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:36 PM PDT I work with a lot of them and I don't even make any eye contact with them, when I have on as a waitress I don't tip them, why would I want to tip someone who I assume would never want to date me? it can be hard, because I secretly find them absolutely irrisistible, but I try as hard as I can not to publicly show it |

Question: Why was he looking at the ground? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:28 PM PDT After saying goodbye to my friend at the hotel, I walked past two men and a woman in the hallway. Then when I was about to walk down the stairs to the lobby, I turned around and saw one of the men running towards me waving. He looked like in his late 20s/early 30s, fit, and good looking. His first comment was, "I think you're gorgeous" and then "do you want to" while grabbing his private part. I think I looked shocked because he then asked, "are you single?". I lied to say no and then he looked down kind of disappointed? I then said "you look good too. See you" which he looked again at the floor and was still standing there when I \walked away. Why do men do this yet I never had a BF? Why would he also ask if I'm single? Why was he just looking at the floor and standing there? |

Question: Does she have feelings for me? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:13 PM PDT I've known this girl for over 10 years. We've grown up together and our families are very close. She's always laughed at my jokes no matter how ridiculous, and we seem to be getting more personal with each other. We talk about our lives and our aspirations and a lot more than just random kid stuff like when we were growing up. Whenever our families are together we always end up away from everyone else and just hanging out with one another. I brought up us possibly being in a relationship about a month ago. She said no right now, but that "maybe it's something that could happen in the future". We've discussed it other times previously, but neither of us ever really tried to turn it into anything. Things didn't really change after, and we still talk basically everyday. When we're together she always makes a point to grab my hands and is always looking for a hug or some kind of attention and seems to just follow me around wherever I go when we're together. Sometimes it even seems like she knows what I'm thinking or how I'm feeling. We're both still very young. I just graduated college and started a career, and she is in her 3rd year of college so we're kinda living different lives right now. Really I'm just trying to figure out whether or not she has any interest in me beyond the relationship we already have? Thanks |
Question: My boyfriend let his insecurity get the best of him and dumped me ? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:12 PM PDT |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:11 PM PDT A decent looking friend of mine in college is depressed because he's never had a gf, kissed a girl, virgin and he's 27. He asks me why women hate him so much and are non existent in his life and i told him i never had a gf either or my first kiss and i wouldn't know. He's academically gifted, speaks spanish, french and english and works as a microbiologist. i don't understand why no girl has given this guy a chance. I thought to myself, if this guy is unnoticed by women, how on earth is someone like me ever going to get the attention of a woman, i honestly felt hopeless. The only thing am good at is drawing, painting with oil, acryllic and physics. My friend broke down crying today and told me he wanted a family of his own and he couldn't live his life with that unfulfilled, but i didn't know what to tell him because i've also cried my eye balls out for the past 5 years and am numbed by it to the point of resent and hate towards women. My friend is totally broken and the advice i don't want to give him is to "wait for the right one" because it's a fallacy. If that statement was true, shouldn't he have found someone by now? He's almost 30 for god sake? What type of advice should i give him? Embrace the loneliness like i did? Heal the pain with resent towards women because no woman will ever like you? I hate to sound pessimistic, but isn't this reality? No woman has ever liked this guy in almost 30 years, what are the chances any woman would in the future? |
Question: Advice on this relationship situation? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:04 PM PDT I've been dating a guy for almost five months now and lately I've been feeling really drained and stressed out. Part of it is my anxiety disorder and leaving the house every week when I'm not used to it, and the other part is at the end of the date we spend the night in the back of his car in parking lots. I don't have sex or anything but I can never fall asleep like that, so for the past three months now about I've been staying awake all night once a week and it's been taking a toll on my mental health. It's been getting harder for me to leave my house again sometimes and I just feel this weakness that comes and goes and makes it hard to be out. Would asking for time and space from going out (I mean going on dates out not breaking up) be too out of line or rude? And how long is too long? How should I tell him this? And once I am ready to go out again is it rude to say I don't want to spend the night or something that he would be taken against by. I don't want it to sound like I'm not interested but I've just been really exhausted and stressed out and I don't feel like I'm able to take care of myself when I'm out until the morning. |
Question: I feel like my bf hates me? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:42 PM PDT I have been with him for about 10 months. However, we broke up for a month and got back together. He did some really bad things, and I couldn't get over it, but I finally forgave. Unfortunately, I realized I was holding back some negative emotions. Recently, I let it all out and gave him a piece of my mind. I dont regret it because I can't bottle it in, but I feel like he might hold back some negative emotions too. I don't know why I feel this way, but it's probably cuz I'm insecure. He always says he loves me and wants me in his life. He always makes time for me. I'm also scared that I don't make him happy anymore even though he reassures me that I do. He's been hanging out with his friends a lot, and I'm completely fine with that. I guess im scared he's gonna replace me He also understands the kind of person I am and how I deal with my emotions He also does make me happy. He makes me smile and laugh, but we have had problems in the past. We're just always there for each other It's just that I kind of lashed out at him a few times. I held in too many of my emotions, so I had to let it out |
Question: I'ts been so hard to accept that it's officially over. What's his deal? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:40 PM PDT My boyfriend and I (he's 26 and I'm 25) were in a long distance relationship for a year. His parents were always the problem though. They were always against our relationship. Although this was the case, we kept fighting for months because we wanted to keep trying with his parents. I was able to meet his family a few times and attend his med school graduation last month and I was told his family was excited to see me. It actually went so well. They invited me over to their house for dinner for the first time and got to spend a lot of time together. When I got back from my trip that's when everything went downhill. Everything was fine for a week until he told me over the phone that he told his parents he plans to come visit me this summer and they said no and were completely against us being together at this point. Because of this, we broke up and he told me it has nothing to do with me, it's just that the timing is wrong and his parents don't believe he's ready for a commitment yet since he just graduated and is unemployed. He told me several times that it's just that the timing is wrong and that he still plans on trying but needs time and can't promise me though. He even told me that he didn't even tell his parents that we broke up. It's been 3 weeks since we've been broken up and it's killing me. We still text every so often but it's just not the same. Our religion does not allow dating/ parent approval is necessary when it comes to marriage, in our religion and culture. |
Question: Should always end the relationship if the women lies to you about her sexual past? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:37 PM PDT even if its just casual lovers or a brief bf gf thing |
Question: Would you move to a new country with little saved and no job lined up? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:36 PM PDT My boyfriends wants me to quit my job and travel to his homeland which is a small Island in the Mediterranean. I'm 2 years from being vested and I think it would be foolish to do this. Let alone I don't have enough saved and new doesn't either. My boyfriend says I can live with his family and they promise that they will get me a job. I am worried what he will do too. He says maybe be a dealer or work in a casino. In my line of work I would be making only 1,000 euros a month. My boyfriend to believe in him and that our love can over come this. He's 41 years old and I really don't know if I should follow him or just accept this relationship is over. |
Question: I caught a girl I have been having sex with lying to me 3 times so far. should I drop her? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:30 PM PDT its always about her sexual past. the first night we had sex she slept over and in the morning we had sex 2 more times and then went to breakfast. When the bill came she got up and went to the bathroom. I waited and she was all wierd and didn't want to pay her own way. I told her how I do not ever pay for things for women who behave like men, like she does, having sex with random people. She paid for it but got all bad and tried to tell me she had only had 2 boyfriends but that was alive and she keeps doing it. overtime I do a some research into her after she makes one of those absurd claims I find out Moree lies. I still haven't paid for her, or done anything with her that would involve decent people..ust bars and stuff. I think she really wants me to take her to exclusive parties and travel but I already told her if she cant keep up she cant come. It makes me nervous to have polka close to me like that who I cant trust I dont know if she had sex with someone else but I have. I cant be faithful or make sacrifices.for a women who has done those things. she is young too, 16, and im 28. Its not illegal;..and this is happening in France, not that that would stop me. she has already been defiled by plenty of other men. |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:30 PM PDT Ok so I've been happily dating my boyfriend for about 8 months now. We we're friends prior for about 3 years. However I managed to pull it out of him that he had feelings for me. Anyways in the beginning he would always see me every other weekend. He would text me a lot and respond quickly. But as we have started getting into a longer relationship it seems that he doesn't respond as quickly or that he is always busy. I have bad anxiety and I tend to over think things quite a lot. So I talked to him that I was feeling a bit worried about him being distant and being absent. He explained very lovingly that he has just been dealing with a lot of family issues (which he has mentioned before). I also have to mention that I have trust issues. I've been hurt in the past not only by lovers but other people. So I have a hard time believing him when he says I love you. He has gotten a bit better with replying to my messages and seems to be making more of an effort. But for some reason I still feel uneasy. I love him so much and he always tells me that he loves me . He has just been absent a lot because of his issues and I sometimes feel selfish because I feel this way. I don't feel good enough for him and he always tells me that I'm perfect. I in general just have a hard time believing he actually wants to be committed to me. I just want to know if the problem lies with me or the relationship? And what I can possibly do to fix it ? |

Question: Did he friendzone me? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:58 PM PDT My guy crush and I were talking about life and I'm kinda having a hard time. He said something along the lines of "I hope you know that I'm always here for you if you need anything. I'm really greatful we're friends. he picks me up for work sometimes and drives me home very ofte |

Question: Why? Life is so sad why? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:46 PM PDT |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:40 PM PDT My ex and I broke up a few months ago and have continued to be friends with benefits. She is going out of town and asked if I could take her to the airport and watch her dog while she's away and I agreed. She recently told me she started talking to someone at her work, and I told her we probably no longer could be friends once she starts dating this new guy. No hard feelings just feel that is the obvious time to cut things off. Found out after I agreed to take care of her dog that she may be going on a small road trip prior to going out of town with the guy she said she just started "talking to" along with other people from her work. I assume that this trip will be the moment that turns "talking to" into dating and/or hooking up. I informed her after receiving this information that I didn't think it was fair/appropriate for me to take care of her dog while she goes on a trip with this new person of interest. Her trip is next week and she hasn't started dating the new guy yet. Curious how others would respond to the situation? |
Question: Am I right to feel used by my her, or am I the a*shole? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:32 PM PDT My main gripes is she always is asking for money, or to buy her things. They aren't huge amounts, but if I am unable or unwilling to, she flips out on me. Another thing that bothers me is the sex. She will just lay there and expect me to get aroused and do all the work. No foreplay or anything. I actually am able to, but she'll make me stop and complain if it's not done exactly how she wants, and then I lose interest. |
Question: How do you know when it’s time to breakup with someone? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:31 PM PDT I have been with my boyfriend for a year and I love him so much. We also have a lot of history together. I met him when I was in highschool, we dated my senior year but then separated when I went off to college and then got back together when I moved back home. This past year has been really hard, I was in the hospital at least 10 times (I have a lot of health problems) and he has been by my side through it all. But lately things have been pretty bad. He is starting to become abusive, like if he gets mad he'll grab my arm and twist it or throw my things and scream. He has also become very manipulative. For instance, he made plans with me this week and bailed and then tried to turn it around on me. My mom thinks he's kind of crazy because he will get mad at me and storm off, and then come back with flowers begging for my forgiveness. Everyone keeps saying I need to dump him but we also have a lot of fun together (when we aren't arguing), and I don't feel ready to let go. |

Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:18 PM PDT We have mutual friends, apparently. It's the classic scenario. He was talking to them for a brief moment and so was I. Suddenly, they leave and we're left there lingering. All I had to do was look at you and say hi. But instead I acted like I was busy doing something else and shyly walked away. Why do we realize after the fact that simply making eye contact and saying hi wouldn't be that harmful? |
Question: Need advice from women: is it acceptable to lie to your girlfriend in some circumstances? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:15 PM PDT I have my first girlfriend and I think it is better to always be honest but my older brother says sometimes its best to lie to your girlfriend. An example he gave was when your girlfriend bakes you something you should always tell her you like it even if you dont. I think if you ever get caught in a lie, your girlfriend will have a hard time trusting you and that is why its better to be honest. If you were my girlfriend and you baked me something and I told you I do not like it, how would you respond. |

Question: Need gift ideas for my boyfriend’s 22th birthday!!? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:02 PM PDT I feel like he already has everything. He has an expensive watch and nice wallet, he's into gaming but has all the equipment he needs and I don't know what game he's be into. He's a really really big reader and loves everything from scifi to historical fiction. He loves music—especially Beatles, 80s like Talking Heads, and rap. I want to get him (or make him) something simple and sweet but not cheesy or basic and overdone. I plan on taking him out to a nice dinner and drinks and dessert and all that but want a little something else to give him. Please help!! Thanks! |
Question: Do I sound like a catch? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 06:00 PM PDT I'm 29, but have no kids. Own my own house. Yet I can't seem to find the right guy. It's like guys never approach me in public and the ones who do I'm not interested in- like they are not my type. I'm scared I will end up alone. All my kids have kids and are in relationships. Any advice? |
Question: Agree/disagree: you shouldn’t let anything get to you? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:58 PM PDT |
Question: This ignored my friend request on Facebook. Why? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:57 PM PDT So this guy years ago that worked in walmart spoke to me while I was walking down the aisle. He said hey how are you doing I said fine and that was that. But RECENTLY I was sitting outside my apartment building and the same guy came to my building and delivered food he spoke again and said hey how you doing . I said fine then he proceeded to go in building. Then he came back out because he couldnt get in building and he asked me was he at the right building I said yes he went back to his car. I look up and he staring at me again but ddidnt say anything. Then when he was leaving he said "See you" with a smile. So I stumbled across he page because we have a couple mutual FB friends in common. I sent him a friend request and 11 hours later I cancelled it because he didnt respond and he posted a video so he was active on FB but ignored my friend request. What could be a reason he didnt accept it? And was it dumb to send him a friend request? Would it be dumb to send him another request? |

Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:42 PM PDT I was with my ex girlfriend for 6 months, and I broke up with her because of long distance. A day after I broke up with her I got together with my guy best friend of 4 years. I know its bad timing. Ive been with my guy best friend, now my boyfriend, for a year and a half. I keep thinking about my ex girlfriend and if we wouldve worked out if I just met her in person. So, I met her. We hit it off and it made me question everything. Was my boyfriend some kind of rebound? Did I just need someone here with me? I love them both. I dont know what to do. |
Question: Am I taking it too far? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:18 PM PDT There's this guy from school. And he's going to be at a party everyone in my class was invited to. I like him and I think he kind of likes me. His best friend told me he cannot stop talking about me. We've been spending some time together lately, just me and him. I've been helping him study and we've been just hanging out. His science quiz scores have gone up, and he told his parents it's all thanks to me, I blushed upon hearing this. I wish we could get into a more bf/gf relationship. At the party I'm thinking of wearing a crop top, to show off my abs and slight cleavage. I know we'll be spending time with each other there. So he'll see a little more skin from me... But is this taking it too far? Crossing my limits? |
Question: Is it too soon to ask this guy how he feels about me? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:18 PM PDT I met this guy on a dating website about 3 weeks ago, and so far, we've been on 2 dates. We both said that we were tired of meaningless hookups, and that we wanted a relationship, but I'm starting to get weary. We text almost everyday (nothing sexual), we talk/text about things going on in our lives. So far, I've shared more about me and asked more questions than him; and he calls 'sunshine' sometimes. Anyway, on both of our dates, we had sex, and to me, that was a little fast because I don't know if I like him. I talked to him about having sex too early and he said that it was normal and that he wants more than a hookup. He's really touchy with me, so I'm not sure. He's respectful and he seems genuine, but his words aren't matching his actions. He says he wants more than a hookup, but he wants sex immediately? I'm not really sure if I like him, so is it too soon to ask him how he feels about me, just in case he has actual feelings for me and I don't? |
Question: Which is the right decision? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:15 PM PDT So, I was in a long distance relationship with a girl who I never met in person for 6 months, and then broke up with her and got into a relationship with a guy right after. Dont ask my why. Ive been with this guy (my boyfriend) for a year and 6 months. My ex girlfriend and I are still friends and I recently met her and the chemistry is all there. She lives 3000 miles away. I dont have anything but my boyfriend and a small amount of family here for me. Obviously something must be wrong if I cant decide between them. What should I do? |

Question: He was staring into my vehicle? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 04:08 PM PDT We went on a date. Coincidentally we've been parking in the same parking garage on the same floor for months. The other day I got in and parked and was doing something in the car and I looked up and he was walking from his vehicle to the door and the whole time was staring into my car which was on. I mean it's like a 20 ft walk that he's turning his face to look at me. I tried to act like I didn't see him. He never showed interest in going out again so I think it's weird he was looking at all forget for so long. And now he always parks in the place I last did. What gives? What's up with that? |

Question: Why does my boyfriend keep asking me about my ex friend? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 03:58 PM PDT So me and my friend of almost two years have recently stopped hanging out. He told me on numerous occasions he loved me and wanted to be with me but I told him is rather just be friends. In the meantime I met a guy and am very happy. But since we have made it official, my friend suddenly cut off all contact with me since Easter time of this year. I have tried contacting him but nothing and he has me blocked on Facebook too. However, my boyfriend knew all the time he always had feelings for me and didnt like him over this. It's like he saw him as a threat. My boyfriend didn't like when I drank with him either or sent to clubs with him. The past few days my boyfriend has been asking me all the time about this guy. I dunno why but he keeps asking me if I miss him (which I don't) I'm not bothered if I'm honest because I do have other friends too. He won't tell me why he keeps asking me if I miss him. Why could he be asking this? |
Question: Girlfriend has a new gay friend? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 03:54 PM PDT We have been together for 4 years now and I drove past her the other day and saw a guy I didnt recognize in her front seat. I confronted her and she said he is homosexual and that she gives him rides home from work time to time and I didnt believe her until I went and saw him kissing dudes on his social media. She went and told him that I was jealous of him and called me insecure because I didnt trust her. I tried to explain that she never told me about him and that I am not wrong for getting mad about seeing her with another guy. Anything I can do? Am I in the wrong here? Any advice would be appreciated |
