Posted: 09 Oct 2018 07:35 AM PDT I get really bad anxiety, and I have to give a toast this weekend at my brother's wedding as his best man. I thought I could handle this, but I am in a complete panic at this point (I have already written a speech, which is like a minute long). Any way others have gotten through this under similar circumstance? I feel like a baby, but I can't calm down. |

Posted: 07 Oct 2018 06:26 PM PDT I'm not a great speech-giver, so I intend to keep this short and sweet. GROOM is actually known as the talkative brother between the two of us – he can talk to anyone about anything for hours – days if he actually knows what he is talking about. GROOM is a lucky man today – he got to marry a beautiful, intelligent, charming, and caring girl who will always be there for him. And BRIDE, you got to marry, well, GROOM. |
Question: What's a better name for "Guestbook Attendant" at a wedding? Posted: 06 Oct 2018 02:10 PM PDT Okay, so I am having two of my young cousins be guestbook attendants at our wedding in a few weeks. Their younger sisters are flower girls. I was going to get each of them these personalized bears with their wedding "title" on the shirt. I think the title "Guestbook attendant" sounds really lame for girls that are 8 and 10.. Any better suggestions? I attached a picture of the bears we are getting so you can kind of see what I mean. Thank you! |
Posted: 06 Oct 2018 11:30 AM PDT I am 21 he's 25. We were watching a tv serie on the tv. A girl was sold from her father to a psycho man who will pay for the oher daughter's surgery (he has 2 daughters) so she will gain again the ability to walk (she attempted suicide and her disability is the consequence of this). The man locks the virgin teenager and forces her. It doesn't show much except him getting away from the room with a belt and the back of the crying girl full of scars. I was shocked and my boyfriend toom the remote and changed it saying 'thats such a stupid movie. You shouldn't watch it it creeps you out and you'll have nightmares'. He's right im sensitive (I can easily have nightmares thats why I never watch horror movies but this one was more dramatic than horror). |

Posted: 30 Sep 2018 09:23 AM PDT We are trying to save money on our wedding and have found a website with some really beautiful, real looking silk flowers. I'm considering using these for our centerpieces, which would save almost $500 on flowers. Centerpieces would be lanterns on the tables with a few loose flowers (roses) around them. Have you ever paid enough attention to the centerpieces to notice this? Would you think it was tacky or weird if you went to a wedding that did this? I understand that it's my wedding and my decision and I shouldn't care what other people think, but I do. I don't want people walking away thinking we cheaped out on our decor, so I'm just looking for opinions here. |
