Posted: 14 Oct 2018 09:02 PM PDT If my ex wife is going out of the state on her visitation time, is there a way I can keep my kids rather than have someone else watch them that she choose while she is gone? We both live in Michigan and have 50/50 custody. |

Posted: 14 Oct 2018 08:40 PM PDT My husband and I have been together for a total of 17 years (married for 3). A few months ago he told me that he didn't love me anymore and wanted a separation and eventual divorce. He tells me that he may have feelings for someone else who is also married with a child but says they are just best friends and I shouldn't care. He has recently gone back to school and started a new position at work. He still asks me to help him and like an idiot I still do. I have done almost every single one of his assignments for school (about a year and a half worth of work)and much of the paperwork that is required from his new position at work. He says that he needs me to help him get back on his feet and when he's ready, we'll finalize the divorce. I still do many of the same things I did as his wife (laundry, cook, iron his clothes and do the dry cleaning). He says he doesn't want me, to stay out of his business especially his relationship with this other woman. Still, sometimes, he'll give me hope that we can work it out and I fall into that whole routine again. Then, he'll tell me that there is no hope for us, he doesn't love me and doesn't want me, but still needs my help and just wants to be friends. I want to help him so that he doesn't fail, because I care about him, but I also no longer want to do these things anymore because it's mentally not healthy for me. How can I get past this? I'm unsure of what to do, I feel conflicted. |

Question: Marriage and health insurance? Posted: 14 Oct 2018 06:00 PM PDT I've been engaged 4 years now. Mother of 3, 2 grown sons and one who is 15. My fiancé has one son. We both work, have good jobs except I have a large deductible on my health ins and big monthly premiums. He has no deductible, wouldn't cost one dime more if I and my son we're on his if we were married. We waited 3 years until my two older sons graduated college to get married. That was a year ago. I've asked several times but it turned into an argument each time. Last time I was really upset. He tried to smooth it over saying next year, big honeymoon. I don't want a wedding just to the courthouse. We don't need to spend money on that. I told him- lets just get married now. Nothing ever came of it. Two weeks ago my 15 year old was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Needs to see a cardio, lots of testing. I have to meet a 4000 deductible. Out of my pocket with my ins. I told him about the diagnosis when I got home. And I was worried about spending the $ on deductible but it has to be done. He never said one word. How about lets get married like we were planning for the last four years now so you don't have to spend a small fortune? How About I want to take care of you? I just came back from applying for a weekend job to try and cover the costs for now. He asked how my interview went and did I get the job. Did I mention he lives in my house?? I'm so disgusted, so angry...... I just don't know what to do or say. |

Question: Mother in Law controlling my husband? Posted: 14 Oct 2018 04:42 PM PDT Hi, I know my husbands a mamas boy..and he sends her money back home to support her. Shes a widow and lives with my brother in law his wife and kids. I never raised an issue when it came to my husband financially supporting his mother..but the problem is I have been living in a long distance marriage with my husband for the past 4 years now. We meet on and off. I try to financially support me and my son but when it comes to money I have to ask my husband to support me by sending some money. Whenever I ask i get "i dont have any i just sent some back home ill send by the end of the month ill see" and even when he does its no more than $200-$300. Recently I found out my mother in law is going for pilgrimage which costs around $2000. My mother in law says she saved it (i didnt even ask her she just blurted it out) but its hard to believe she would save $2000 since she has a lot of expenses on her. My husband sends her money every month. Im curious..did he fund my mother in laws trip? Im here suffering in my parent's basement surviving on $600 a month with a child..and I am beyond curious and upset if my husband has forgotten us and is spending more on his mom..unnecessarily...thoughts? |

Question: How to stop feeling like my husband is cheating on me? Posted: 14 Oct 2018 04:16 PM PDT i know very vague but simply put..... i want to stop feeling or accusing him of cheating when he hasn't really shown any signs of it for the last few YEARS but has cheated on me in the past ( in the first month that we got together but i surely didn't find out till a day before the marriage because his "guilt" was eating him even though it was years ago ) he recently found a new job which changed our lives financially in a huge way but it involves him being gone for days and weeks at a time in another state. And his checks are accurate and what not. it changed our lives so much that i was able to go from FT to PT at work and travel around at will and buy things and shop in places id never dream of being able to afford. but... i cant shake the feeling that hes doing something now that he has a way to cheat and id never find out about it. but he makes sure im always up to date with everything he does at every hour of everyday that i dont see him. and we only really get time to talk in the early a.m and at night but i want to stop feeling this way because i feel as if me bringing it up would cause more of a argument than it should. |

Question: Why is my multiple cheating ex husband doing life better than me? Posted: 14 Oct 2018 01:04 PM PDT My ex husband cheated while I was 3 months pregnant and again all of 2018. It was extreme to the point where he would go to glory holes and when he went out of town for work he would be on social dating sites asking women to come to his hotel. I decided to call it quits a month ago and of course my self esteem is shot. I can't really talk to another men even friend wise. I'm having a lot of trust issues. I have our 4 month old son, going to school and work FT at the same time and I'm tired. Meanwhile my cheating ex is out here basically living his best life. We live in his hometown and every time I see him he is so happy, and I get so emotional about it. Idk why...I should be happy but I fee even more depressed like it was my fault and I'm a miserable person to be with. Idk why. |
Question: Affair partner asked me to visit his daughters grave with him.? Posted: 14 Oct 2018 12:01 PM PDT Hes married. Apparently miserable. I've seen her communication with him and it looks nothing like what a marriage should be. It's his daughters death day and he asked me to go to the graveyard with him. I dont know why he hasn't asked his wife and asked me, but i know she wouldn't go. Wht should I do? Be his friend? We on and off for nearly 2 years now. Hes onky staying with her coz she threatens he will never see his son if he leaves. |
Posted: 14 Oct 2018 11:15 AM PDT I made some career sacrifices on behalf of our family. My spouse pursued the career and easy work/life balance she wanted as I stayed at a job and schedule that allowed her to get the job she wanted while our children could have more home/family life outside of traditonal school. I have watched opportunities pass me by because the conflict with our schedules. While my spouse flaunts her easy-going life while I work my can off, she told me I have nobody to blame bUT myself for the "crappy" life I made for myself. This really hurt, that I gave up everything for my family. I'm happy for the lifestyle she has, but that she has no appreciation for anything I have done to make it possible for her, and it's all my fault. Any support would be appreciated. |

Question: Will he make me miserable? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 10:24 PM PDT I developed a particular liking for someone, until the time I viewed his social media on which I found a multitude of photos with women. He's at parties, arm around the waist, leaning in on them, then a plethora of photos with the girls' arms around his neck as you would hold someone you are about the kiss. In any case, you may find comments alluding to friendship surrounding these photos, but the -closeness- of him with these women begs to differ. Additionally, I found a note alongside a collage of photos of one of his "female friends" devoting this collage full of photos of them hugging, her kissing him on the cheek, her arm/hand around his neck caressing him among other photos of them and this was deliberate on her part because each photo is intimate. She wished him a happy new year and said she hopes in the new year they'd finally date. I can't date a guy like this. I feel this is asking for trouble when he allows things like this to occur - and even if he'd wanted to explain it away he wouldn't be able to given the context. I'm not ok with this guy harboring a harem of women waiting for an opportunity to date or screw him, which it seems like he's doing. Oh, and I don't even know what the deal is with the other pickle jar full of women he's got in his pics. I'm so disappointed. What are your thoughts? |
