Question: What to say when calling out because of a divorce? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 06:15 PM PDT I recently found out that my husband and I are officially going to be getting a divorce (and I'm only 21, yay). I have to wake up in 8 hours and I know for a fact I won't be able to sleep tonight, and I know tonight is going to have a significant impact on my work abilities tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure how to text my manager about this. I was going to say a family emergency but I'm not entirely sure that qualifies as that. Any suggestions? |
Question: What do you say to your wife when she cries ? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 05:40 PM PDT |
Posted: 13 Oct 2018 05:28 PM PDT What does he see in "Posh"? He is such a hottie and he's super nice and he always has a happy smile on his face! Yet his wife always looks like she just came from a funeral! If the rumors are true that he's cheating on her miserable butt, I'm not surprised! David Beckham can get any woman he wants! He won't be lonely for very long if he decides to divorce her. |
Question: What to do with 11yr old daughter?? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 05:13 PM PDT My 11 yr old daughter gets really jealous when I act affectionate with her father. When its time to go to bed she stands next to her father's side making sure we don't hug or kiss. She won't allow us to close our bedroom door either. I was really fed up with it, I closed my door and she found a way to open it. I was so angry. I had to kick her out and told her to go to her room. She was crying and acting dramatic, saying we don't care and that we don't love her. Her father and I had a talk with her about this whole situation. I am falling into depression because I cannot have any intimacy with husband. It has gotten to the point where she has lost focus in school because she's to busy being concerned what me and my husband are doing (supervising us). We can't even be in one room together, because she rushes over to see what we are doing. I am really loosing it. My last option is to take her to counseling, because its starting to feel really creepy. My husband feels weird because if I touch him (like a massage in the back) my daughter will push me over and massage him instead. If I kiss him, she'll kiss him too (on the cheek). To me, this isn't normal and we tried talking to her about it. We talked about the birds and the bee's with her, we told her we are married and this is normal, but she won't listen and doesn't seem to care. What do you guys think? Should I really take her to counseling? |

Question: How do I repay this kindness without causing a problem? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 09:52 AM PDT I work in computer sales and it has been a very rough year with the bad economy. I finally got a large order. I delivered the computers and installed them. I suddenly had a problem. One of the programs that the customer needed would not work. I tried everything I knew to solve be problem but I could not get it fixed. I called the program's help number but after hours on the phone, they could not solve the problem either. I was in a panic. I badly needed that sale to pay my rent. I called EVERYONE I knew that might help me get the program to work and nobody could help. I was desperate or I would not have did what I did but I called my ex husband who was very knowledgeable in computers for help. He immediately came to help me and solved the problem. I was VERY GRATEFUL for his help. Then I saw he was wearing a wedding ring. I asked him about it and he said he had remarried. I had not talked to him for over a year so I did not know that. I FELT TERRIBLE. I can only imagine what his current wife thought when he told her he was going to help his ex wife with a problem. I apologized to him for what I had done and told him I would apologize to his wife. He said no apology was needed. "I help my friends when I can". Please tell me how I can repay him for his kindness with out causing him a problem with his wife. |
Question: Do you believe in marriage? My boyfriend thinks its stupid and doesn't believe in it.? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 08:57 AM PDT I love my boyfriend and we've been together for almost 5 years. Since then my desire to get married is stronger than it was when I was 'young.' At this point he wants us to start saving together and 'building' a life. I agree with him we are at the point in life where this is the next step but I told I want to be married or that to be in process if we are going to have a bank account together. He laughs and says 'isn't me saying I want to spend the rest of life with you enough?' I respect that and it's like I want a big wedding or even a ring. He says marriage is a government agenda and I get so upset. Basically I am not sure what to do. Is this too much to ask? What are your thoughts. He is 40 years old by the way. |
Question: What are the differences between being a lady and being a gentleman? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 07:50 AM PDT I res up in an old European family where gentlemen, or Jonkeeer (there are different terms for it in different languages) was a social rank. Basically the lowest Noble rank..or untitled nobility, usually sons of sons of the lower nobility. I live in NYC and hear all this talk from women who are technically not ladies, and men who are the same about being a gentlemen.. that chivalry is dead...bla black bla. many of these men behave like gentlemen are supposed to, the women do not JON...all Americans are not of noble rank....by virtue of being Americans...thats absurd. The highest rank a man can achieve in America is gentlemen, and is usually affirmed as such by attaining entry into a gentlemens club. I agree with you about chivalry. It is dead bc it was dependent on feudalism, and those practices. a noble class of landowners who conducted military functions. It bean to die as the emergence of professional national armies bean to emerge. by definition thats what a Gentlemen is bing. Junker in Kerman or longer in the Low Countries..etc.. |

Question: Is this how you would define Filipino crab mentality? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 07:21 AM PDT My husband always gets jealous of other guys looking more attractive than he is, especially among White guys whom he thinks age too fast compared to him although he is 35 like me, and he's Filipino like I am and gets mad whenever I check them out in front of them as well because he says I belong to him only and not anyone else. I also have to hide my multilingual and even artistic talent and gifts from him as well because of his crab mentality. With my multilingual talents, my parents tell me that he will be paranoid about me leaving him for a foreign citizen because he and I are both American-born and raised, knowing they married me off to him due to him being extremely similar to us. My parents have set me up with Filipino and other similar guys with my husband's attitude before and like my husband, they thought I was way too attractive for them that they told me to tone it down so they wouldn't be overwhelmed and also got jealous of other guys for being more attractive than them as well. Is this how you would describe crab mentality? @sheloves_dablues-Filipino immaturity. From my experience, there are other Asians that are more mature and secure than Filipinos. |
Question: Why Won’t He Marry Me? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 06:23 AM PDT Ok, so My Boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 years. We love each other, we respect each other, we live with each other and do everything as if we were married...the thing is..He won't marry me. I asked him when are we going to get married and his reply is that there are things in the relationship that he needs me to be better in such as communication and sex. (Really?) He told me that if I don't improve by December, he's done. I support him..I show love to him..I cook, clean, etc. There was a time where he lost his job and I was there for him supporting him, and even helped him get another job. I gave him money to help him out sometimes, etc so why is he so stagnant about us getting married? I know I qualify to be his wife..but he won't make me his wife..so lately, I stopped doing everything. I feel stupid for giving so much of myself without the ring. Why do you think he won't marry me? I've even considered moving out |
Question: Unemployed Husband, Wife at Her Wits End? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 04:56 AM PDT My husband has been jobless for five months. He wasn t laid off, he quit. It is causing a huge rift in our marriage. I have tried to be patient, and I have tried helping him look for jobs, but at this point, he hasn t applied for a job in weeks. Matter of fact, he has applied to maybe 5 jobs in the past five months. I feel taken advantage of. I buy our meals, clean our house, make sure the dogs are taken care of, do the grocery shopping, all while working 40 plus hours a week. I m exhausted. He stays up late on the computer and gets mad when I ask him to come to bed. He didn t even come to bed last night. I am at a loss, what do I do?! I resent him for putting all the financial burden on me, and I ve tried talking to him about this. But it usually just results in anger on both sides, especially from him. Any advice is welcome. |

Question: Why does a husband keep threatening for divorce? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 11:29 PM PDT We've been married for 9 months now, and every since we got married all I hear is I will divorce you whenever we argue/fight. Before when we started our relationship, I kept breaking up with him every time he did something wrong with me, but he kept threatening me that he will kill himself for a year or 2(he finally stopped saying that he will kill himself). After 10 years in a relationship with him, (by the way we have a child, I got pregnant after 3 months of our relationship) Now, he's telling me to find someone else and he wants to divorce and he's tired of everything about me, the way I talk, I act, etc. He said I can find someone else. He's always using everything against me. Does he really want to divorce? because he keeps saying that he doesn't care if I go to other guys.. He keeps pushing me away. He even told me that I lost his trust. so what does it says about what he did to me. He also lost my trust. everything is my fault and he has a big ego. |
Question: Child services is ruining our lives !!!!!? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 10:19 AM PDT Kind of a long story sorry .. my husband and I had gotten into a an altercation back in June and it got physical the police were called by our neighbors and I had to give a huge statement of what had happened they ended up calling Cps because our daughter was in the home at the time , we both regret it and have token responsibility for our actions we both have went to go get help , he goes to anger management classes and I go to domestic abuse victim classes . We had children's court and the judge gave me full custody and took custody away from my husband they said he's not allowed to be anywhere near our daughter and if they catch us living together I loose custody also , the problem is I unexpectedly got pregnant around the time the incident happened and he's the one who's been supporting me and our daughter .. we currently live at his moms house because I have nowhere to go and his mom basically wants to kick me out because she says I'm going to get her son arrested and that this is all my fault , she keeps telling him to leave me and I'm starting to get worried that he might listen to her , my husband and I love each other so much and it's just that one mistake that ruined everything for our family this whole situation is just so horrible , I've been crying my eyes out all night , we don't want to live apart , I don't want to tear our daughter away from him .. |
Posted: 12 Oct 2018 10:11 AM PDT My wife just can't seem to understand how Society works. She knows the rules of society because she was taught at when she was a little girl but when it comes down to culture or Traditions or trending fads or fashion or emotional reasoning or anything at all that is man-made and not objective she's just unable to do it. You can teach her the rules if they're stable rules but most things social and emotional are not stable. So is this As Good As It Gets? Or does it actually get better? |

Question: Should I confess to my wife? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:59 AM PDT So I am about to get married in a few month. About two years ago, me and my fiancée were going through a rough patch, where our sex life was nonexistent. So I was away on for two days with a couple of friends and we went out to drink at a club one night. One thing led to another and I was fairly intoxicated. A women threw herself on me and attempted to kiss me but I moved my head and she proceeed to kiss my neck. My memory is foggy but I keep thinking that I may have felt her up a bit and even fingered her. Should I confess to this, guilt has been eating away at me. |
Question: My dad's girlfriend moved in with us? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 03:15 AM PDT I watched her smell my dirty underwear before she put it in wash. This was 2 weeks ago, then last night, she sniffed another pair of my dirty underwear and then touched herself, I guess she orgasmed ,because she then wiped between her legs with my underwear and then threw it on the ground likes he was angry. Question: Am I wrong for wanting to throw his ex’s license in the garbage? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 03:09 AM PDT My husband and I been married for 2 years. His ex-wife don't live here, they divorced 4 years ago. I recently found a letter in the mailbox from DMV under her name, ( I don't open any letter that isn't mine, but since she doesn't live here) and I am the only female housewife in the house hold, I opened it. It was her renewal drivers license. I'm gonna talk with my husband about this situation, because she doesn't live here the drivers license's going into garbage, until she change it to the correct address. There are a couple times she came in our home looking for one of her important mail, I've had enough. If he doesn't do anything, I want to say something. Am I wrong of wanting to throw it in the garbage? |
