Question: Is my dad a bad person? Posted: 31 Oct 2018 03:14 PM PDT Well, when I was a kid, we hardly spent any time together because he was always at the bar, and when he did want to spend time with me he was drunk, and I didnt want to be around him. Him and my mom taught alot, but hes never layed a hand on her. But to be fair my mom always had anger issues, and he didnt like to put up with it so he always wen to the bar. I dont know this for certain, but I believe he was cheating on my mom a few months before they divorced. Someone saw him at the bar with another person. Fast forward 10 years. I'm 25 and hes 60. Hes almost 5 years sober, and hes a completely different person. Hes apologized over and over again how he was such a jerk. We have a great relationship now, but he told me yesterday right before he quit drinking, he was driving drunk, and hit a dog. He just left it there to die because he didnt want to get in trouble. That's something he just told me. He said it's been eating him up ever sense. I know he feels bad about, but I was shocked he did that. Another thing he use to do when he was my age was beat his dog. Not just for fun, but when it misbehaved. He regrets being so rough with his dog, but he still believes that some dogs need to be slapped around a little bit. Anyway. I love him so much, and look up to him so much, so it's hard for me to think of him as a bad person. Sorry for the bad grammar |

Question: Do I defer university for a relationship? Posted: 30 Oct 2018 10:52 PM PDT Okay so I'm in dire need of some help. I was meant to start university in March as a nurse in a mental health course. I've now met someone who I really see a potential with and if I was to leave in March this relationship would end because of its fresh and new nature. The university have given me the option to defer till September 2019 instead. This means I will still go to university I just get to spend more time with this boy to see if this could really become something. Honestly he is amazing and I've never met anyone like him and I truly believe this could be something special. Opinions? |

Question: Is it normal that a boyfriend cares so much about his girlfriend? Posted: 30 Oct 2018 03:36 PM PDT So this is my story, and I just wanna know if I'm too obsessive or it's normal. I am constantly afraid something will happen to her, or someone will hurt her. She works in a factory in the middle of nowhere and when she takes the train it's dark, with no lights and I'm not just afraid of the weird people out there but also of the animals, or dogs. She's just 22 she's still my little kid and it's the first time she works and does things for herself and I appreciate her effort to help the family, and I try to pick her up from work as much as possible but not always our working schedules match. So when ai work and cant pick her up, I'm worried. All the time. Plus, when she cries or complains about something I feel so miserable, when she talks to me about some sad things about her childhood,it makes me mad and want to give her everything she never had. Once I had a dream of her being bitten by dogs in the dark and me.coming to save her too late and I started crying in my sleep because I saw the image of her in agony covered with blood. I don't know why am I feeling like this, please help me |
