So this girl and I have been bestfriends for 5 years but ever since last year I made a new friend but we had this issue that didn't allow me to see my best friend that much. Ever since that happened my best friend found other friends and started to hang out with them more. This year my other friend and I made up and she allows me to hang out more with other ppl. So now I'm trying to hang out more with my bff, but it seems like when she's with me she's bored but when she's with her other friends she's happy and like herself. The other day she made a group chat with only a few people in it and I said to her "why didn't you add me in it? Haha I thought we were bffs." But then she didn't say anything to confirm we were still bffs. Also the other day we had a pep rally, and when I came to her it seemed like she was looking for someone else, like her new friends. But she couldn't find them and she sat with me during the pep rally. I felt like a last choice to her. We can't even hang out because I'm her spare time she always hangs out with them. And if we do it's super awkward with her other friends because I can't relate to anything they talk about. I feel like she's gotten tired of me. But in the past we used to have a lot of fun and do everything together. But now, I feel like I've been replaced. And yes I did talk to her about it but she just says she has different moods with certain friends.

I text my friend to let me know things that happen in her life. For instance, I told her to let me know when she hears from colleges that she applied to, but she does not let me know. I told her to let me know where she end up going, but again she does not let me know unless I text her first. Why does she not let me me?

I have a friend who is a dancer and I am also a dancer. We train at different dance schools, and she trains at one that is more well known and probably better than mine. Despite from this, we are dancing at basically the same level. She is a horrible friend and always tries to make me jealous about opportunities she has and that I don't. She'll show me how she's gets to take classes from professionals, and she'll show me videos of her dancing when I really don't care. When I start to talk about my dance life, she gets angry and says that I talk about it too much while she comes to me to brag everyday. Once I confronted her about it and she got extremely angry and said I was a horrible friend and that she knows I'm jealous (which I'm not.) i don't know how to confront her without starting a whole big deal. If I confront her, she gets angry and if I'm not friends with her she lets the whole school know. She has a good reputation so if she tells anyone; the whole school will know. I am so conflicted on what to do and how to stop trying to make me jealous.

So, 3 of us come to the coffee bar. After we drink coffee, and they smoke their last cigarette, one of them says let s go home. If they get up first, they leave a bar IMMEDIATELY, even though we are going home together. Usually they keep on walking towards a car, which is sometimes pretty far away, without waiting for me to catch them up. I feel extremly stupid when I am left alone in a bar and ashamed because people can see how my friends treat me. And then comes rushing just to catch them. I always wait for them with calmness ad patience. I m talking about seconds of waiting, not even a minute. I feel really disrespected and I hate myself for allowing that. It seems like a little thing but it annoys me so much. Do you think I am overreacting??

I'm a senior girl and I'm not popular but i'm not a loner by far, i love talking and socializing and idrc what grade my friends are in... I always wanna talk to the kids that are always by themselves with headphones in but i feel like since they're always on their phones they don't want anyone to talk to them. Should i go up to them and start a convo or just continue on with my life and let them be alone? HELP!!

My 7 y/o son, W, has a friend, J, who plays here almost everyday. Another kid, S (who is 14) will come over and get J (who is only 8) and they tell my son he can't play with them. First, I think it's innapropriate for a 14 y/o to play with an 8 y/o (that might just be me?) but since I'm not J's mom, I can't say no. So my question/s is- A. Do I allow J to come over and occasionally ditch my son for S and teach my son that sometimes life isn't fair? B. Do I tell J if he wants to play with my son, he can't just ditch him for another friend? C. Or do I just butt out and let them figure it out on their own? D. None of the above *insert advice here* I only ask this since it really upsets my son and I hate seeing him so sad! He really doesn't have any other friends in our neighborhood or within walking distance...and I don't have a vehicle to take him to a friends house. I also don't want to be the kind of parent that tries to fix everything when things get hard for my children...

I'm in high school and everyday I am alone at lunch, I moved to this school 2 months ago and no one likes me. I'm known as the weird girl. I'm not ugly or anything, for some reason no one wants to talk to me though. I have tried starting talking to people but now I have been shunned from the entire school so sometimes I go hide in the bathroom or sometimes I am forced to go sit in the cafeteria, when I go to the cafeteria I usually go look for an empty table hoping people will come and sit but I am always at a table all by myself and it's embarrassing, people look at me and talk about me and laugh at me. What should I do? I cry every morning before going to school. I hate being alone. How do I make friends? They don't like me.

I'm in my 30's and I've had my share of making friends with people when I was younger. I've had shady friends and decent friends. I've been on my own now for 2 years. I go to bars alone, restaurants, gym. You don't really need friends to do that. I have online friends too that I can see myself hanging out with. When I go out to bars I like to be my own wingman when it comes to meeting women. All I really need is a good women and family. Which I do come from a good family.

Hello! So, I used to hang around people who were really good friends of mine and we used to experiment with a couple drugs. It was fun, we all had a good time during the summer, then school started again. I decided it would be good for me personally to stop doing drugs just because school was starting and I really need to put my future first (with the exception of smoking weed here and there) I soon found out that my friends decided to still continue to do drugs, including hardcore **** like cocaine, lean, etc. I decided it would be better for me to distance myself from them. It was really easy to do, considering I transferred to independent study after one and a half weeks of school starting just because I hate public school and I work better independently. Anyways, a really good friend of mine who I still consider my best friend just got back from rehab, and she is still friends with the ex friends I just dumped and i am so scared that she might relapse back into addiction and get into harder drugs. I am also afraid that she will leave me for them. I m not sure how to go about this. I told her mom that it would probably be a good idea to NOT let her hang out with these people, but somehow, she did. Any advice? Thanks for reading!

I was texting her pretending I was someone else, (a boy from school) and asking personal questions like are you a virgin, it doesn't look like it, it looks like you've had sex already. After a couple of hours I finally told her who I really was, and asked her not to get mad or tell ppl that I pretended to be someone else. she said she wouldn't. She ended up telling the boy who I said I was at first and he contacted my sister and told her. My mom asked was I texting a girl pretending to be someone else and I made up a lie saying someone stole my iPod and was doing that to ppl. They ended up believing me and dropped it. I'm now 19 and I really regret doing it and just needed a friend. Was that sexual harrassment? Could it come back later in life and ruin my career and reputation? I made a mistake. No one got hurt or anything like that. I just desperately needed a friend and took the wrong route for one. I was a dumb kid. It's not something I'd do again. Also does it seem pervertish? I've been feeling terrible about it lately

So I had left my flash drive at my friends house the other day and he returned it last night. We have the same one and I guess he got them confused and gave me his. I didn't realize at first because they look the same. I plugged it into my laptop to pull something up and that's when I realized it wasn't my flash drive. He had a bunch of pictures of my girlfriend. He had pictures he took from her Instagram, pictures he took of her with out her noticing when I invited him to my house. When I invite friends over she usually stays in the room because she doesn't know my friends very well and he has pictures of her sleeping in bed. He also has pictures of her boobs and butt that he zoomed into and also photoshopped pictures where they close to each other and hugging. I'm really angry and I'm not sure what to do. I want to call the cops on him but I also want to punch him square in the face. I haven't told my girlfriend because it'll make her feel. I feel like he's a predator and could've hurt her if he wanted to and it would've been my fault because I didn't protect her like I'm supposed to all because I thought I could trust my friends. I haven't asked my friend about is either, because I don't know if I'll be able to control myself. I'm pretty sure he knows he gave me the wrong flash drive by now.

I'm going to a sleepover at my cousins' house, and everybody there (including the parents) sleeps until about 10:30 am. I'm an early bird, which means I'm left sneaking around the house for about 4 hours before anybody else wakes up. I let my sisters friend borrow my phone last week for the weekend. She paid me $20 and said she would give it back to me Monday. On Sunday her cousin tells me dropped it in the water so I say it's fine just bring it to me so I can get it fixed and then on Monday her sister and cousin tells me that she got it taken by her grandma so I tell her my "aunt" (which is really my friends mom) is going to go get it and they said that she can't go get it. So I tell them to that I'll buy them an iPhone just so they give it back and then they said okay buy her the iPhone first and be then she'll give it back but I don't think I should have to buy her an iPhone just to get mines back because it's mine. The girl is always posting on her snapchat and Instagram with my phone and she won't give it back. If I tell the counselors do you think they'll help? Or should I call the cops? Please help. I tried telling her to give it back but she won't.

Here are some details: She stopped talking to me. Like if she did talk to me, it was only around her family member. Then at school the next day, I would see her walking to class and I would say hi and she wouldn't say it back. She knew who I was. She acts like she didn't know me. She also would use me. She would talk to me and be nice to me for one day and then the next morning, dhe would catch a ride to school with me. I confronted her but she acts like she doesn't care. She actually found a new friend... some Caucasian. I mean that's fine but what about me? Some say jealously because she is dark skinned and I'm light skinned. I met this girl through her friend. She's a couple years older than me. Her friend started laughing at my joke and talking to me. She talks in a tone and smiles at me then will say stuff like "you've been really inappropriate recently".

My roommate doesn't understand the concept that we all have our own space for our things in the kitchen. She keeps putting her things in our cabinets and moving our stuff although she already has the most space. Yesterday she moved my things out of my cabinet and put hers in there, so naturally I moved it back. I left her a note asking her not to move my things inside of my cabinet and later returned to it crumpled up. She has done the same thing to my other roommate. Side note: it is difficult to communicate with her since she is an exchange student from China and will not make eye contact and avoids us at all costs. What should I do?

I don't know why but it really bothers me when someone copies me especially when it comes to how I dress or even school work. Occasionally I'll let her copy my homework if she needs it but it's too the point where she's asking me most of the time and always counting on me and highschool work isn't easy to do.
