I didn't stop her and just blocked on social media her for my own sanity. I tried to rekindle an amicable (not friends/BFF type) relationship as we work and live fairly close. She didn't seem to keen and we stopped ALL contact for about 8 months. But she's also cut off half her entire family. Over time though, her behavior has become more and more weird. And she's actually been contacting me, but only in person. Usually when I walk into work she has some reaction, whether it's staring, getting jumpy or trying to have these "overly awesome" conversations with people I'm around. Sometimes she'll leave the room for a couple minutes. She always wants to be involved in what I'm doing/ who I'm talking to but won't actually talk to me. Though, the times she talks to me she seems happy to do so. When I speak back to her though she's usually nice but immediately switches to sad/emotional, then she looks away. If we're in the same room she's always watching me. I'll look up and there she is from across the room. Usually when she stares she won't look away and stares deeply into my eyes. From her own words eye contact was her "Way to show a guy she likes him" I may share a FEW friendly words with her during the day but that's the only time I actually reach out to her. I said no bc of the promise, but she asked me a second time n had been telling people she believed that we had had s*x which was creating rumours so i told her. I was upset so i skipped over some bits but it was enough detail to figure out that me n my ex had got w each other twice. i told him i told her straight away, but i didnt include everything i told her. things were fine for a bit until last sunday. the girl had told someone n it spread and someone asked him about it. he asked me about it n i said that i hadn't told him everything i said to her. he got v upset because id lied to him, and he has trust issues already. we spoke about it again today and he said he can never trust me again, which rly hurts considering that this is the first time ive lied about anything to him and ive done a lot in the past to be a good friend to him. how do you think i can prove that i am trustworthy? i still care about him, I just dont want to lose our friendship because its really important to me. ive got two diagnosed mental disorders so things like this flare them up a lot. Posted: 19 Oct 2018 04:58 PM PDT My girlfriend admitted to me that she thinks she has feelings for another guy she's been hanging out with behind my back. She said she hasn't cheated but almost did but refrained from doing it. She said she didn't do it because she loves me and didn't want to hurt me but I kinda was hurt. I told her she should go with her heart and I told her since she doesn't have respect for our relationship then she should go be with him. And since then she has been trying to talk to me saying she can't stand being away from me and said she will stop talking to the other guy because she loves me and doesn't wanna lose me. She was crying her eyes out on the phone when we spoke and I was pissed too because we were about to break up. Been together for 2 years. What should I do? |
