Posted: 21 Oct 2018 12:25 PM PDT We are in our early 20's now and she still won't forgive me. I've apologized many times to her and her parents. I'm genuinely sorry for what I did. It was a joke but I did not understand how badly things could've turned out. What should I do? :( |
Question: Is normal to NOT want to talk about your sister's sex life with her (I'm a girl)? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 11:30 AM PDT So I feel like this is a stupid question because I can't imagine ANYONE wanting to talk about sex with a sibling but apparently I'm weird according to my sister. She knows I'm uncomfortable with but she keeps trying to talk about have sex and makeing out with her boyfriend with me. I tell her that I don't want to talk about that kind stuff with her and she either tells me that I'm not being a good sister or that I'm acting like a guy. What dose not want to talk about how She's doing keegle exersizes to **** her guy better a guy thing? Am I really that weird? Do siblings really just talk about sex a lot? |
Question: Would you yell at your 18 year old daughter for bad grades? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 11:11 AM PDT |
Question: Should I slap my aunts for gossiping or hurt them? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 10:46 AM PDT They been doing it for years, they never disagree that they say negative stuff is the worse par, they lie. MY father helped them and are very nice to them for no reason. They still take advantage and talk crap |
Question: Should I talk to my mom about her drinking every single day? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 10:46 AM PDT And being drunk before 10 AM |
Question: Why do I want to hurt people that gossip? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 10:39 AM PDT I just don't like gossiping. Like my aunt always talks crap with the other aunts about my mom for no reason. Its like she doesn't even say anything to deserve this. Its been since I was 6 when I see them getting jealous and talking crap. Now i'm older, I hate it |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 10:33 AM PDT My grandma making me stay with her she has no house or no. We are staying in a overcrowded house with no food. We only have two pairs of shoes to wear. Our dad was going to let us stay with him but my grandma lied and said that we were okay so that she can put him on child support and get ebt so she can feed our uncles. The people we are staying with are moving and we are homeless. If you see this please calls Dss |
Question: How would these characters be related? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 09:51 AM PDT Been working on a story however I realised I don't know how one of the children will be related to two other characters. Here's the run down: Child A: Child of 1 & 2 (4's twin brother) Child B: Child of 3 & 4 (2's twin sister and adoptive/step sister of 6) Child C: Child of 5 & 6 (Adoptive/step brother of 4) I have no idea if C will be related to A in any way because their father isn't legally related to A's parents. They should still be cousins with B due to their father being legally (but not blood) related to their mother right? So would C be related to A somehow with B as cousin to both of them? |
Question: My mum shouts at me really if I accidentally drop a drink? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 09:23 AM PDT I accidentally dropped 2sips if tea on laminated floor which can be cleaned in 1minute with a tissue. My mum instilled me and said "You ******* idiot can't do anything right stupid *****" It just made me feel really crap and idk what to do I just feel so upset |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 08:52 AM PDT Ok so my friend's dad is verbally and physically abusive and her and her mom are scared. She has been telling me about this for years now and It's not getting better. She has no privacy and her father always thinks she's lying. On multiple occasions he's called her a ****** and thinks she's a lesbian because she watches diy art tutorials and likes the color purple. And today he made someone check her computer's history and everything because he thought she was watching porn. The man who checked it said she was more than innocent but the father wants to get all her passwords. Not to mention her iPad always has to face the window so her father can see it or else he assumes she's doing something bad. She told me that her and her mother can't leave because they can't financially support themselves and they have to stay. I think something needs to be done because no person no matter the age should deal with such abuse. Anyone have advice for this because I'm done spectating. |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 08:35 AM PDT They said I need to grow up and stop dreaming that I will never support myself. Then my aunt said she saw some clip my mom sent and I am not a good actor and my eyes do not look good on camera. She then said I have bad eyes and it hurt. My uncle just sat back in the car letting them attack me. I had an audition my mom promised to take me, but she suddenly started drama and I went alone but she also tries controlling my life. Then on picture day she started screaming at me in the car about random things and it made me feel crappy. How can I ever have the courage to act again? I just wanted their love and support. |
Question: How do I adjust to my dad and my stepmom's rules? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 08:30 AM PDT I am 16 years old and before I moved in with my dad and stepmom I lived with my mom she pretty much let me do what I wanted to do I didn't have a bedtime and curfew. When I did go to my dad and stepmom's for the weekends I did have a bedtime and curfew. My mom was concerned about the appearance and weight she had me on strict diet. My mom got hooked on drugs and my dad has full custody of me now. My dad and Stepmom's curfew on the weeknights is 8:30pm and my bedtime is 10:00pm on the the weekends my curfew is 10:00pm and my bedtime 11:00pm. My Dad and stepmom think that I am underweight when she weighed me on the scale she wouldn't let me look to see how much I weighed my stepmom believes that's the reason my period stopped. My stepmom was a nurse before she married my dad. My Dad threw my vape and all my vape juice away and my stepmom threw all the diet pills my mom bought me away and she won't let drink energy drinks anymore yesterday she caught with a redline that's my favorite energy drink she took it out of my hand before I could open it. Yesterday I lost my temper with my stepmom and cussed at her she sent to my room and said when she cooled down she was going to to talk to me about my punishment for cussing at her. I did apologize to her cussing at her. Everything changed so fast and I am having a hard time adjusting to their rules and not having the freedom do what I want is getting on my nerves. |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:46 AM PDT They set them up but did not know the two would end up having sex. |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:38 AM PDT She overdosed again and this time for good and is totally brain dead. I can't conceive she will hear me if she is already dead. But her body is alive with life support being removed. She overdoses 11 days ago on heroin and other drugs. She is 26. |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:37 AM PDT He is very wealthy so I don't want to lose that. He is otherwise deceptive, ignorant, and arrogant with little soul. |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:36 AM PDT He was a terrifying and angry man. My mother was savagely beaten by him as a child. Apparently his father was even worse. |
Question: Is it bad to only care about the social life in college? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:34 AM PDT I worked so hard for my parents to pay for my college. I worked hard in school also. In school I had no friends because I was too busy studying. On my first day of college I expected to be dropped off without anyone and be fucos on my books but I instantly met a group of friends my roommate introduced me to everyone and so far this fall has been the best..I hate going to class sometimes I skip it.. i progressnate on studying because I only like going to parties and hanging out with my boyfriend.. I get drunk every other night and it's the best time. I have never been this happy in my life.. idk it's like I lost my interest in school and only like being there for the social experiences.. overal is this bad? |
Question: My grandma won't stop crying? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:30 AM PDT So my "grandma" moved in with me about a year ago after she was evicted from her senior living facility in Charleston. She got behind on her rent after the government began garnishing her social security payments for defaulting on a federal home loan on a property she owned in a different state. I put "grandma" in quotes as she's technically my great aunt but raised my mother from a young age after the death of my real grandma. Anyway, two months ago she lost her younger sister to congestive heart failure after a long struggle. Her sister still lived at facility where my "grandma" used to live. I'm sympathetic to her situation and I've done my best to take her in and make her as comfortable as possible. ..but she literally will NOT stop crying. It's been weeks since the funeral service and she just won't let up with the non-stop crying and whimpering. She used to be relatively independent and competent for her age. Now she's acting like she can't even get out of bed. I know it's harsh, but I'm getting really tired of waiting on her hand and foot and it's even starting to affect my duties as a mother. She used to have a great relationship with my kids but now they avoid her at all costs. Honestly, you can barely even have a coherent conversation with the woman. If this keeps up, I have no choice but to find some sort of other living situation for her. It's incredibly unfair that this is even my responsibility. What's my next step here? |
Question: How to move out asap? (18 and can barely afford)? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 06:39 AM PDT My dad married someone with 4 kids who are all in there late twenties and thirties. Two of them have kids and all live in our single family home. My dad spent all his money on them, put all his effort into them so he cant afford to help me with anything. I cant even go to college because it's too expensive. For the past 12 years of my life its been a lot mental, physical, and drug abuse surrounding me. Something extremely hurtful just happened to me and Ive hit a breaking point. I need to get out, the problem is i have no money, i work maybe 4 - 8 hours a week, ive been applying to jobs and asking for more hours but nothing will give. My boyfriend has a great job and is older than me but he only wants to buy a house, his home life is fine so he isn't in a rush to move out. My mom lives to far away for me to live with her. Im extremely stuck and it's starting to feel like my only way out is to kill myself. Any advice would be appreciated. |
Question: My husband installed a camera in my daughter's bedroom? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 06:33 AM PDT So my husband and I have been married for 8 months now, but he didn't officially move in with me until just recently. I also have a teenage daughter from my first marriage who lives with me for most of the year. Up until yesterday, he and my daughter have gotten along great and I really enjoyed having a real family unit again. However last night when my daughter was doing laundry she discovered some kind of recording device with a little camera lens taped under one of the shelving units in her bedroom closet. We have no idea how long it's been there or if it's even functional. We weren't too alarmed at first, but over the course of the night she became increasingly panicked at the thought of somebody watching her in her sleep. I texted my husband (he's currently out of town) and asked him if he knew anything about it. At first he denied knowing anything, but after a couple of hours he called me and admitted that he put it there. He claimed that he only put it there to "keep tabs" on her and that it was "for her own safety". It's true that she was HAS gotten into trouble recently for drinking and she DOES have a history of sneaking out. Even if he did put it there for those reasons, this is still way over the line, right? I want desperately to believe his reasoning, but I'm starting to suspect that he probably has other motives for putting it there. He won't be home for another two days. How should I handle this until then and what should I do when he gets back? |

Posted: 21 Oct 2018 03:13 AM PDT I m 14, and just Wednesday this week I got into an argument with my dad. I started shouting at him because I felt I wasn t being listened to but in fact I was the one who wasn t listening. Long story short I pushed him past his breaking point, he stood up, I stood up becasue I felt threatened, said "I can stand up too, Dad," and then we got into a scuffle, ending with me being pinned to the couch and threatened. Then, after that was over, I got up as he shouted at me a bit more and called me ungrateful, among other things, and told me to go to my room. I stood in the foyer, processing what was going on. My dad came up to me and said "I nearly just smashed your face in etc etc etc," and then I felt like a horrible person, so I went into bargaining mode and said "Of course I d stand up, I didn t know what was going to happen to me and sfasfksbsflkdshbal" Yeah, my legs gave out, we hugged and then had a civil discussion. Yesterday, my step-mom came back from her work that she does in another city (she weekly commutes, coming back from late fri- early sun) and I explained to her what happened. After she left, I noticed my dad wasn t acting right, so I did a reality check. SO I asked him, "Dad, I know Mom just left and that s sad, but you re acting a little strange and I just wondered, are you upset with me?" to which he replied, "Yes I am, [my name], but I don t want to discuss it with you." Now he s in his room behind a closed door and I m scared about what s coming. help? |
Question: I want to go to a concert on a school night but...? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 01:31 AM PDT ... my parents aren't super keen on it. They're open to a discussion (luckily) but definitely leaning towards no. I totally understand their hesitation and think it's more than reasonable, but I'd obviously still like to go. I'd be going with the guy I really like, I haven't been to a concert in two years and I've really been missing it, and it's one of my favorite artists. I feel like going to a concert on a school night is really normal especially for kids my age (17), but I know better han to try and use that as an argument for them to let me go. Any tips on how to best persuade them to allow me to go? TL;DR: I want to go to a concert on a school night but my parents are understandably hesitant. Advice on persuasion techniques? |
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 01:24 AM PDT She is a product of a one night stand and is now 7 years old and has only seen her dad 3 times. On the third time she stayed over his house and the day when she came back and it was time to go to sleep she began crying and refused to sleep in her own bed because she said her dad had put socks in her mouth and was touching her. When her step dad asked her where she said she didn't know. When we told her mom she said "kids lie." Her mom and a friend took her to the pool, her moms friend brought her 10 year old son and he was rubbing her private part. Her mom saw and started laughing and encouraging him. She came over today put her private part on my nephews face and started dancing, her step dad told her to stop and told us he does that often at home and The encourages her. The step dad also said that he think her older brother who is 8 might be doing things to her too because he tells her that she has to let him do whatever he wants to her and that she can't cry. Her mom also calls her a wh0re. I know I should call child services but I have hope that her mom will soon give her up to my sister. Also I was in foster care as a child and my foster parents abused me, I don't want her to go into foster care and be abused too. She's actually my sisters god daughter but I helped take care of her since she was born. Please help, I love and care about her so much and don't want this to happen to her anymore. |

She threatens to hit her and she has now quit her job and refuses to get one and now has drove off to who knows where. What do you do? You're too young to get a job and your dad is not financially capable of supporting you. |

Question: Is Family always together for holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas)? Posted: 20 Oct 2018 07:09 PM PDT |
Posted: 20 Oct 2018 06:43 PM PDT Last October My family went through some personal stuff. My parent's son who is now 18 and I'm 21 decided to call me a b** for no reason. I told my parents and when my dad was correcting him he went on yelling at him cursing at my dad and telling him he wasn't a father all this false crap. He blames me for messing and picking on him when we were in elementary. He blames me for him getting bullied at school which i had nothing to do with. When you are little you always mess with your sibling and i guess he took it to heart when we were little. After he was done cursing at my dad he storm out the house and didn't come back for two hours. I haven't talk to him since then. I have a lot of great things happening in my life. My parents love their kids and will do anything for them and i have an amazing boyfriend. I want to know if telling my parent I want nothing to do with there son for the rest of life is a good thing to do? My dad still keeps telling things about him and i don't care and I don't know how to tell him to stop without hurting his feelings. |
Question: Would u ever talk to you dad again if he did this to you? Posted: 20 Oct 2018 05:14 PM PDT if you had been rude and disrespectful a few times to your dad and his new wife and then you found yourself going through some difficult times and were afraid you would be homeless and you told this to you dad and he suggested that you can go to a homeless shelter rather then stay with him. Would you ever deal with your dad over this? is that even forgiveable? thanks and will choose a best answer |

Posted: 20 Oct 2018 04:54 PM PDT They are like detectives and always seem to find out. They want me to hate her like they do. I feel guilty hating anyone in the family. Hate is a family value to my parents. The aunt however is narcissistic. Anonymous · 4 mins ago :: Okay, I will. |

Question: When my father hits my mother she does nothing. Why might she not fight back? Posted: 20 Oct 2018 04:51 PM PDT |
Question: My mom pisses me off a lot, how can I stop letting her bother me so much? Posted: 20 Oct 2018 04:50 PM PDT I'm a 13 y/o girl. I live with only my mom, no siblings cousins dad etc. I'm homeschooled so I can't interact with other kids which means I'm around her 24/7. It annoys me to near end because she won't leave me alone. She's constantly nagging me (literally cannot be alone for ten minutes before she comes bursting in my room and tells me that she's lonely and needs me to come out). She has always had an extremely annoying personality ever since I can remember but now since I'm homeschooled and around her all the time it's so frustrating and hard to deal with. I've tried talkign to her about it but her answer is always "I DO LEAVE YOU ALONE!" She really doesn't, not in the slightest. This causes a lot of arguments between us and I want to get some advice on how to not let it affect me that much. |
Question: Should I move out because of a parent? Posted: 20 Oct 2018 04:38 PM PDT So I live with my mom and stepdad and I want to move out with my sister when I turn 18 because I cannot stand my stepfather. I would live with my real dad because we are close but he doesn t want to get involved. My stepdad is usually laid back and nice most of the time. It s not like he s a bad person per say, but he can be irrational and an ahole at times. He is verbally abusive to my mother and is rude to me sometimes as well and does not know how to let go of little things. I am a respectful person and I am nice to him and I don t think he gets the impression that I hate him. But I do. A lot. I love my mom so much it has always been her, my sister, and my brother since she got divorced when I was 5. She always says she doesn t want any of us to leave her. But I m not sure how much longer I can put up with the toxic environment. I want to stay for my mom. But I want to leave for myself. I also struggle with anxiety and depression and have voiced that I wanted to get help, but nothing was done. My stepdad and my mom s marriage is toxic and I would hate to make my mom sad but I want him to leave, or I will. I think leaving would help with my mental state. Would it be okay to move out even if it would devastate my mom and leave her more alone with my mean stepdad? |
Posted: 20 Oct 2018 03:27 PM PDT While arguing, my boyfriend cursed my beloved deceased parents who I'm very protective of. Out of hurt and anger, I wished his daughter who is a special needs child, never ever speaks, to hurt him. I feel ashamed but I was hurt that he said that about my parents. |
