Question: What would you think of my response? Posted: 14 Oct 2018 03:57 PM PDT My dental assistant asked whether I have a boyfriend and after I said no, she asked if I'm married. I said no. Then I added that it's too troublesome and it's better to be single. My dentist was just quiet lol My dentist is male btw |

Posted: 14 Oct 2018 10:56 AM PDT Ok so first off my daughter is 17 and he is 23 almost 24 (i do not approve of their relationship), they have been dating for about months now and both work at the same place, I have a friend who also works there ( they work at a fast food place)and that friend came to me and said that they were planing on going to Halifax Nova Scotia and getting married, (we live in newfoundland Canada)i didnt really belive them but today my daughter told me that next month she and a couple of friends are planning on going to Halifax for the weekend and now I'm slightly worried that they are going to get married, is there anything I can do that won't allow them to get married |
Posted: 14 Oct 2018 10:36 AM PDT I bought a beginner ball gag. I've never used one before. Definitely a little bigger than I expected. I can't get the whole ball part in my mouth without my jaw hurting. Tips? |

Question: Is that sweet if a girl likes to lie her head on your chest and hear your heartbeat? Posted: 14 Oct 2018 09:37 AM PDT She just loves doing it and I am so overwhelmed by all this, her innocence, that fact that she has this childlike thing on her that makes her special. Once she told me: "I am so afraid to hurt you, sometimes I think that if I stay here for too long your heart will stop beating, I know its stupid but it scares me so much". I laughed but all in all I found it so tender. I can't get enough of her, she has taken too many steps back in her life for other people and was never valued my anyone. She's such an amazing, good hearted shy girl but so alone I can't understand why. When she stays like that on me I feel like I have someone really special that I don't want to lose otherwise I would feel incomplete. I was always the cold, dont get too attached kind of guy. I lost my parents and don't talk anymore to my brother. I pretend I am strong and dont care about anything but deep down I would feel lost without her. I am also afraid of what's haopening to me because of her I have changed so much, and I am so scared that something will happen to us |

Posted: 13 Oct 2018 10:18 PM PDT There have been things that have been triggering me and honestly, my anxiety issues make sense now. Typically I like being alone, with the exception of my husband and few friends that have now moved away so I am back to being alone again. When my husband is home (he is on the road a lot) we get along mostly but he will do things that trigger me, typically when he has drunk too much. Like he will playfully hug me but then he overdoes it and I start to feel panicky. I ask him to stop but he sees it as funny. I can't really talk to him about it at the moment because he is not in the right headspace. He mostly gets frustrated and annoyed that I get so upset. I finally said that it feels like he's violating me. He kind of laughed and said that he was my husband. I said..what does that have to do with anything?! He gets so impatient and ends up playing the victim when he was the one that was making me feel uncomfortable. Then he kept saying..repeating, that I was a silly girl. It infuriated me!! Not just for myself but for all the women that have been called a silly woman because their assaulter was "just playing around" or because "no one will believe them". I am not excusing his behavior because he had been drinking but I think he was making it too amusing and at my expense. I have never breathed a word of me being assaulted to him or that my repressed memories have caused mental health issues. How do I bring up how I feel until I'm ready to talk details of my assault? The question is how do I talk to him in a heart to heart type of way when he is sober. I just need him to understand that it not ok for him to see it as a joke when it clearly upsets me. This is something a lot of guys are not taught, boundaries with their significant other. And any advice that could help me talk to my son about consent would be nice too. He's 5 but I feel like it's never too early |
Posted: 13 Oct 2018 09:38 PM PDT Recently I contacted my dad I have not seen my dad it's been 13 years I am 21 years old. I found out that my mom has been lying to me about my dad my grandad admitted that they kept me away from him. My dad gave me his attorney number he said that the only way he can see is that he has to go through the court first. I'm at a point where I can't take it anymore all my mom do is bring me down. I can't move out I don't make that much money. I'm really depressed I can't take this pain anymore all I want is my dad I don't know why that's so hard. My dad said it's possible that he might go to jail because my mom has an abandonment warrant out on him. Last time I saw my dad is when I was 8 years old. He said that my grandad and my mom got the court to not have any contact with me at all . My mom , my grandma, and my grandad got mad at me for contacting my dad. if I go see my dad my mom side of the family would be mad at me to the point where they might disowned me. They already talked bad about my dad in front of me. They keep asking me why after everything we have done for you why would you want to listen to him or see him. |
Question: Should I take what they said as a compliment, or criticism? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 08:02 PM PDT I have gone out of town twice recently and have met up with "guy friends." They've come to my hotel and have both said "wow, you have it all set up in here and stuff." They had looked in the bathroom and saw all of my hygiene products, makeup, etc. all perfectly lined up and organized in the hotel bathroom. Is this something guys view as negative? Do they think I was overly organized, etc.? I sometimes think guys get intimidated by me...or think I'm too stuck up/uptight. |
Question: I’ve been hiding my child from the father and I’m still afraid to tell him? Posted: 13 Oct 2018 07:59 PM PDT I was 27 to his 32 when I became pregnant. I've known him for years. We were never together, we met as friends, our relationship is simple, we could talk for hours as friends and the only time we we were affectionate with each other was before sex. The reason I never told him he was the father is because he already had four boys. He's a good dad to them and I felt he didn't need another child on him, he already has pressure enough. When I got pregnant he was living in his car and working two jobs. I already am settled in a good job and stable home and I lied and told him I had been sleeping with someone else (he believed it because we only slept together on average once a month because of his other commitments) I ended up having a girl. It's been over a year, he was around as a friend but I think he suspects something because of his recent questioning of my daughters father and why he isn't around. He asks me constantly, little questions about how I met him and how long we had been having sex. I don't want to put this stress of a fifth child on him, he barely has time for the kids he has now, he sees her once in a while when we hang out but my family all thinks it's the result of a one night stand. I don't know what to do at this point. I provide well for my child, I am buying my house we live in and can afford her care without financial aid. |
Posted: 13 Oct 2018 06:25 PM PDT Weve been together 7 years w kids and committed life together. Boyfriend is former drug addict, left it in california 10 years ago, or so he says. Acts odd sometimes, like really odd, so I started googling what secret drug use looks like. Wow he was a close match to opiod abuse. A stranger...out of the blue, messaged me two pictures of what looks like a burnt drug kitchen spoon, in two settings. I look up the info on the pics and they were taken in California (or so her iphone says) with a very precise location on the map, not far from where my boyfriend is from. I got chills. So I stalked her online and polietely messaged her on every avenue I could. (Hello, you shared these pics w me. Could you please explain?) She didnt respond. She unshared the pics as her response. If it were me I would have said I fatfingered, my mistake. Spoons! Lol. Its been weeks since the spoons and I still cannot find a way to cleverly ask if he knows the location or the spoons, or at the very least, the college professor who had to look me up pretty thoroughly, just to "accidentally" send me a couple pics of dirty spoons. Was she trying to tell me something? Like where an aquaintance knows hes cheating, so she drops clues, to help the wife out? I m stumped. I do not believe i will ever get a straight answer from him, buy can generally tell when hes lying (often, as hes quite well at displaying narcissistic personality disorder traits to me). Any insight? Please and thank you. |

Question: How should I help my friend suffering from colon cancer? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 11:32 PM PDT I'm 15 yers old and I recently became close with a girl at my school, she's very kind and strong willed and she acts as sort of mother for my friend group. I found out just a few days ago that she was diagnosed with colon cancer 1 year ago and it was the same desease that killed her father. I want to help her with all of my heart and I don't just want to say the same old "that's awful I feel so had" stuff I want to know what I can do to really support her through this awful time. I want to help her feel strong throught this tough time and make sure she doesn't feel alone. What can I do hat will lift her spirits? |
Posted: 11 Oct 2018 04:50 PM PDT Or is this rude? I would not ask the one and only daughter he has but the two sons I wondered could I when drinking sometime. Also how would I do it since I don't want to just say "what were your father's dark secrets". I'd want to do it in a casual or even kidding way. My mother used to say there were 3 dark secrets. She told me one but not the other two. She died when I was 15 so not old enough to ask again and the one she told me was not huge. He was disloyal to his wife in a bad marriage she caused also. They divorced long ago (late 1990's). |
Question: Is it possible he will leave his pregnant girlfriend and come back to me? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 08:10 AM PDT My baby daddy has a new girlfriend of 3 months who's pregnant. I actully broke up with him he begged me back got back together and eventually he broke up with me. He met a new woman a few months ago who is now expecting. The thing is I still want to be with him I want my family back. He also has an ex before me that he shares kids with that he told me wants him back also and then ofcourse there is the new girl. I feel she is more of a threat because not only is she younger but she's pretty, pregnant and gives him money and anything he wants... Here's the thing I did the 30 day no contact rule and it worked. I had him blocked from my phone and all social network sites and he popped up at my house. He was begging for my new number and told me he loves me and wants to be with me and our kid for the holidays starting with halloween. This has been a tradition of ours for years though regardless of if he is in a relationship or not. But basically he came over after the 30 days told me he loved me and missed our kid yet he went back to her. What should I do is it possible he will leave her and come home? Like I said she has only been knowing him a few months but he and I been knowing each other about 15 years. Should I just let go or is it possible I can get him back? |
