Question: My dad killed our family dog, how do I cope? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 01:52 PM PDT A while back when I was a little girl, my father murdered our family dog, Bear. My brother and father were taking him outside and my brother accidentally hit his butt with the leash and he ended up getting spooked and Bear bit my dads hand. My dad then took Bear inside, held him up in the air by the neak and began to beat him. I can still remember the noises Bear made and all the blood. I remember being scared of my dad and running upstairs to my room. My step sister brought Bear into the room to get him away from our dad but it only angered him more. He put us all in the car and went to a area where he dumped Bear on the side of the road lifeless. I blamed myself for so long but in reality, I knew what my dad was capable of and that very well could have been me on the side of the road. But I still feel angry at myself sometimes because I wanted to save him so badly. I used to think I should have ran off with Bear. But he was 3 times my size, I couldn t have carried him. I should have hit my dad over the head with something hard. What if I would have missed? I should have called the police? They wouldn t have gotten to me before my dad did. There was nothing I could have done. I was only 7 years old, what much could have I done? I know all of this but it still haunts me and I m still in so much pain. I m 24 now, I just got a puppy of my own, his name is Elvis, but how do I move on from what happened to Bear? |
Posted: 12 Oct 2018 11:28 AM PDT My mom died when I was very young, I was always told by my entire family, she was killed by a drunk driver. Well I going though my deceased aunt belongings, found police reports and court files, my mother hydroplaned and hit a brick wall and died on impact. Well I aaked my dad, he told me that it was such a rough tome and he doesn't remember what happened. Should I confront him with documentation and should I tell my siblings, it really hurts know you were lied too your entire life. I don't know what else I should or shouldn't believe. |

Question: What to do when parents say you mistreat the? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 08:55 AM PDT Hi, My dad often say that we mistreat him and no one cares for him. To tell the truth I had a rough childhood. My parents were together but my dad was a abusive person. When I was a child I saw how he treated my mom. But now the things are okay. They are getting along way too better than the old days. Now he tries to justify everything happened by putting the blame on us and my mom. Of course we take the blame because we don t want to ruin things and have originally developed a fear to argue with him. I definitely am afraid to say that he s the one to blame and to ruin the family. But I can t really bring my self to do it. There were times I really wanted to say it to him that we never mistreated him that no matter what he did we forgave him. But I fear of the consequences. What should I do? I really want him to reflect on his doings and not to blame it on us especially mom |

Question: Don’t really want the father in the child’s life I’m 17? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 08:29 AM PDT I'm 17 and just found out I'm pregnant, I don't know the father very well and can't see myself in a relationship with him nor does he, he's 19 and doesn't have a job, he's on probation and is still using drugs, he gets kicked out everywhere he lives and is currently living at a local drug house, am I wrong to not want him to be involved in the child's life? |
Question: My boyfriends sister tags to all of our dates. How to tell him I’ve had enough.? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 07:33 AM PDT My boyfriends sister is visiting from another country for four months. At first I thought it was okay for her to always be around because she is visiting and we are trying to show her a good time. However, it's been two and a half months in and I've had ZERO alone time with my boyfriends. ZERO dates. ZERO privacy. She's constantly always coming to what I thought would be a date. I've constantly asked if we could have ONE DATE NIGHT. But instead of understanding where I'm coming from he gets mad at me saying I'm being inconsiderate to his sister and that his sister would feel lonely. Whenever I call him he would put me on speaker phone so his sister would be a part of the phone conversation. I've honestly had enough. To make matters worse whenever we go eat she doesn't have money so I'm always splitting half the bill with my boyfriend for a three person meal. If his sister was a teenager I would totally understand but she's 21 and we're all adults. How do I explain to him that I also feel neglected and that I would like some alone time without him feeling like I'm insulting his sister? |
Question: Should we stay out of this and not do anything? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:27 AM PDT I feel like I'm being placed in a difficult situation today. My step-son has a 2.5 year old daughter by a girl and she lets us get here every other weekend or whenever we want her. My step-son lives with me and my wife, his mom. Well, this week there was some drama between the little girl's mom and her own mother. Something went down to the point to where mom doesn't want grandma to see her granddaughter. I'm suppose to pick up our granddaughter for her weekend visit today and my step-son said that he was going to allow the grandma to come get the baby tonight and return her tomorrow since her daughter is keeping her from seeing her. This morning I get a call from her other granddad telling me to keep the baby away from his ex-wife, the other grandma becuase his daughter doesn't want her to have her. Now, I think my step-son has already arranged for the grandma to come pick her up from us tonight and keep her till tomorrow but I'm not sure if I / we should. Do we go against the mom's wishes by giving her daughter to her grandma or should we just stay out of it and let them solve their own problems first? I don't think the grandma will harm the baby but at this point I'm not sure I'm willing to take that chance. What would you do? |
Question: A tour of the jail that my sister works at? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:18 AM PDT I did a tour of the jail that my sister works at... Just to see how well I would do in jail.. My sister and some of her coworkers asked me why I don't socialize with the other inmates, and why I don't respond to anything they say, and don't seem to care what they say... The guard that my sister was with, that there is a few reasons.. Because I'm not here to party, I'm not here for jiving, i'm here for business. These people are mentally ill, they're drug addicts, some are probably still on drugs from smuggling, I guarantee it. And they're here for murder, they're here for rape, they're here for robbery, they're here for gun crimes, they're here for drugs, they're here for assault.... And I have nothing to say to them that's worth saying, other than I'm out of here in a week, and they'll be old men still here... I do my talking with my fists, and if anybody here touches me, I'm going to smear their f)uckin' brain matter across these f)uckin' walls. No Playing, No Jivin' just Business. And I said that right in the dining hall. I took my shirt off, and flexed my Muscle ontop of Muscle body... They didn't say anything to me that whole week. I was reprimanded by my sister when I got home the next week, untouched after a week in the General Population... She said that those people are people too. |

Posted: 12 Oct 2018 05:18 AM PDT Let's say a mother gives advice for her adult son who not to marry because of their behavior and attitude the way how they grew up and whatnot. And I wonder if it's really wrong? |
Posted: 12 Oct 2018 04:15 AM PDT His father-in-law died so I am going to the funeral with my mother tomorrow. She confirmed her brother is having an affair this week. She learned of it over the summer. His wife recently found out and threw him out of the house two weeks ago. |

Question: Found out my boyfriend watches really weird (Incest) porn?? What should I do? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 09:55 PM PDT Ok so the other day I was doing homework while my bf fell asleep, my laptop died so I used his iPad to continue... I saw he had 3 tabs open of incest porn!! Daughter ***** dad, and siblings ******* siblings type ****.... I honestly don't know what to do.. I'm worried he's a pedo or something and I'm not sure I should stay with him! I tried to call him out tonight on what I saw, and he said it was nothing and that he couldn't stay up and talk about it... (he DOES have class at 8:00 am so I get why he wouldn't wanna stay up to explain). Is this just a weird kink??? Or should I be concerned/see this as a red flag?? |
Question: Is 69 too young to die? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 09:35 PM PDT My mom is 69 and she was given a few weeks left to live, she has dementia. I just think she is still way too young, but what do you think? is 69 a long life or not? I just wish she made it to at least 90. |

Question: My Mom's relative is manic. He stalks us. How do we get him to stop? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 04:59 PM PDT He comes over at about noon and doesn't leave until about 4 every weekend. He is manic depressive and single. He is not a bad person, just a stalker. He is her step-brother. He cheated on his wife and she left him but he had long had irrational behavior so they already had issues. He has been single for 8 years so this is not anything new as the stalking has just begun since June when his other (ex-wife of my Mom's Dad's) died. He is 14 years older then my mother. |

Question: Am I wrong for not speaking to my biological family? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 04:45 PM PDT When I was a baby I was adopted.. Well not only just me , I have a brother who autistic and I have a sister they are both younger then me , When I was 20 years old I decided to leave my adopted family to go live with my biological family who found me on Facebook.. We never lost contact and at the time my adopted family were strict as in we couldn't have friends over and our freedom was limited. When I did move in with my real family everything was great Well so I thought I started off by living with my cousin whom showed her true colors the 5th day I was there she was upset that her sister didn't have me stay somewhere else I guess she felt like I was in the way so she put me out to go live with my grandma I stayed with her until she accused me of stealing and since then I haven't spoken to her , My aunt was able to help me receive my disability check which I thank her a billion times.. She had a really bad drinking probably and I soon found out all of my cousins were acting fake towards me , It got so bad that I had to stay with a friend until my boyfriend of 9 years had asked me to live with him in New Jersey and now I'm happy. Before I left my aunt was upset and she wouldn't give me my check when I went to pick it up and she threw it at me and I yelled "YOU'RE JUST MAD BECAUSE I'M LEAVING " and she called up Her daughter and told her I said she was jealous and her daughter called me and cursed me out over the phone and since then I don't talk to them. Am I wrong for that? |
Question: An aunt refuses to talk to our part of the family. Is this our loss or her loss? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 04:41 PM PDT |
Posted: 11 Oct 2018 04:40 PM PDT I am going to mark anonymous so not to give away any identity. |
Posted: 11 Oct 2018 04:13 PM PDT I am never In the right when I get mad or upset with him. I never hear I'm sorry because he is always right. I am in the wrong for reacting to something in a fashion he doesn't agree with. When our child gets on the bus I am expected to be on call to suck his dick when he wants the entire day. having sex shouldnt be always, sucking him until he gets off should happen more. It's annoying when I cry, No matter the reason. I work 40+ hours,in 3 days... He doesn't work. I pay for all Bill's and everything, since my job pays well, He takes care of our child when she isn't at school. on the 4 days I have off I make dinner, bath our kid,do the homework,do the housework etc. if I mention him getting a job he gets upset ,claims he supported me (after he made me quit a job to get pregnant and have him a baby) and now it's my turn, it's only fair. He claims he does enough mowing the grass and fixing anything. broken. nothing is broken, besides me. if I argue he threatens to leave and disappear to where I'll never see him again. he knows it hurts me and uses it to have his way. I never get a break, and lately have felt alone, bored and tired of myself. He is a good father, Very involved. and does talk about his love for our child. He claims he loves me; Just I need to learn what Is best and not be so stupid. anymore I just want to be in physical pain, not sure yet why, but the more it hurts the better I feel.. :-( I can't tell anyone the truth, all just tell me to leave.. |
Question: Do I tell my mother or my dad? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 12:00 PM PDT Help, Asap! My brother suffers from bipolar disorder, he has been getting in so much trouble in school latetly and he won't speak to any of us what is going on. Yesterday, he had an argument with my mom and step dad, as soon as my mom raised her voice, he shut it and broke down crying and apologizing to her. That happened before she dropped us to school and he cut school. I over heard that the principal and social worker called my mom. When I got home from school he was at home with my step dad, my mom knew he was home. Yesterday at night, I found my brother crying his eyes out on his room, he has a lot of bruises on his arms and back. He told me our step dad was doing things to him that he doesn't like and he's trying to get out of the house. He didn't want me to stay. I sstayed home today cause I am sick, my step dad is at work and my mom stayed with me and my brother is at school. Do I tell my mom now? Or do I tell my real dad? |
Question: I'm black and raised by whites? Posted: 11 Oct 2018 01:33 AM PDT I was adopted when I was 2 years old. I've been with my foster parents for 12 years now. I've attended schools with rarely any blacks. I don't know anything about the african American history. I love my parents but they are very strict and religious. I wanted to attend a rap concert but my parents told me no. They allowed me to attend Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga concert with out even hesitating. How do I ask my parents to allow me to be around blacks more, learn black culture and to trust me more? |
