We would never talk, but he would always be friendly to me. He would always hold eye contact smile and I would notice he would treat others differently. This past weekend I went to the coffee shop and began studying and he came in for his shift. His friend was sitting in the corner and we were facing each other. He came up to his friend and said "What's up?" and were talking to each other. Then I looked up and he was still talking to his friend but had turned around and was staring at me. I just smiled and continued to work. That whole day we didn't talk, but the next day makes me wonder if he is interested. I came in to the coffee shop to work on more school. He was working and he had the biggest smile on his face when he saw me. He took my order and asked me, "Are you studying? I noticed that you were in here yesterday." and I told him that I was studying for midterms and we chatted for a little bit. I then went back to studying for the afternoon. He was sitting but I noticed that he kept turning around and glancing at me. Every time I would get up he would look over at me and watch me. So, he will do things like drawing a heart on my paper in class, tease me by putting his leg on mine and not moving it (aka making me laugh while going "it's not gunna work, you can't move my leg!" And stuff). He even let me borrow a shirt of his on pt day when I forgot mine, and he always smiles at me and is all happy when I'm around. He even offered to drive me home when he had early release, and also saw me at the football game last Friday and gave me a hug infront of some of his friends. He always tries to get me alone too, like one of the days a couple of weeks ago he offered to take me with him across the school To a vending machine to get an energy drink with him. The thing is, I don't have his number and we don't reallt text, we just see each other on school grounds. Granted it's been a fiew weeks since school started (about a month) so I don't think that's too big of a deal, but idk. Then it escalated to everyday being called ***** or being called stupid. He started telling me to kill my self when we would argue he doesn't listen when I say no to anything including sex. Then he started to get physical with me he has slapped me in the face a couple times and kicked me punched me in my arms and stomach has bit me broke my things thrown things at me and left bruises everywhere but has never left a mark on my face. He threatens me a lot but I don't take it seriously. I asked why he hurts me and he says because I don't act right and it's my fault. Some part of my brain won't register this as abuse and makes me think it's not really real abuse because I've never been hit in the face. I'm already ashamed of mysele for getting into this I just need advice on how to get out without being sad or missing him. Because I know I will even though he has done these things. |

I absolutely hate my anxiety, my entire family has this. We're mostly snapping each other pictures the entire day and talking but at time, as normal high school students, nothing interesting has happened and we won't really say anything. My big issue is that when things like this happen, I'm like, damn she doesn't like me anymore. We're both pretty introverted people and can be pretty awkward at times. Little does she know that, while I have tried to push down my feelings, ultimately they are still there. She isn t seeing anyone, but I don t think she s into me in a romantic sense. She admits that I am one of her only closest friends and that trusts me a lot. I cherish our friendship a lot, but it is risk putting it on the line? I've always been able to very well in school. My boyfriend however, has always struggled. In high school I thought it was because he was a bit of a troublemaker and just didn't care for it. Now in college I've begun to notice that he has an extremely hard time reading and writing papers and holding academic conversations with peers and even his professors. Basically just comprehending as a whole, he writes on a very low level as if still in elementary school. I try to approach him about needing help or tutoring. But he doesn't want any help or think that he needs any. It also doesn't help that he attends a bit of a "party school" where teachers pass students whom they like, and he is always able to make people like him. How do I help him? I don't want him to graduate and go into his career in criminal justice and struggle. |

Throughout the year we became good friends, we would joke around, "defend" each other from other coworkers and playfully hit each other. I didn't really see her as a romantic interest at first but eventually other coworkers would be curious if we are into each other, which was when I thought about it and started to pursue. After, I eventually had the guts to ask her on a date, to which she did not hesitate to accept but had to cancel due to urgent emergencies. We haven't found time since then to make plans of any sort as we are both full time workers and students. Later on, I began to stress heavily over school and realized that right now isn't really a good time, to which I let her know immediately and she understood as she is in her own level of stress currently in school. However, I did confess my feelings for her and she denied she ever liked me but eventually got her to confess she liked when she first met me but she thought I only saw a platonic relationship. Also, she directly said that yes it is best if we stay friends and when I'm not busy and she's not busy, something can happen.
