Question: Friend becoming distant? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 06:04 PM PDT So recently I've been through a lot. I have been going through depression and suicidal thoughts. One of my friends I have noticed has become a lot more distant. I don't know what to say or do to regain our friendship. I love him to death and I would be heartbroken if our friendship got ruined. I don't have many friends so I'm not sure what I should do. |
Question: How should I deal with the teasing if kids at camp find out I'm a bedwetter? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 06:02 PM PDT I'm a 12 year old boy who still wets the bed and going to sleep away camp. I'm going to try to keep my problem a secret. I will wear a diaper under pajamas and throw it away in the morning. But if someone finds out and teases me what should i do? |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 05:51 PM PDT My boyfriend added an attractive female acquaintance on Facebook and I don't want to be that "crazy" girlfriend, but I have to be honest, it does worry me. They seem to get along very well and they know each other through their bowling league. He hasn't added other people in their league and that's what concerns me. Do I have reason to be worried or should I let it go? I fully trust him and he's a great guy. Just worries me! |
Question: If a guy adds you on social media, is he interested? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 05:34 PM PDT I have been playing on a co-ed soccer team since February and there is a guy on the team I have an interest in. We are both 25. When I first met him, he was very quiet around me and would talk to everyone but me so I thought maybe he didn't like me. He would look at me but then quickly look away. After about a month, he would come up and talk to me about our games and joke with me but still gets quiet at times. He will jokingly touch my arm and when he looks me in the eyes when we talk, I feel this crazy connection but who knows, he may not. He requested me on social media 2 days ago but he hasn't added our other mutual friends. I am not going to pursue anything since I'm not sure if he is taken or not because I did see a girl there with him a couple times a few months ago. It is hard to deny that I feel we have a connection. Am I crazy to think that or is he just being friendly like anyone else would be? |
Question: My friend got a detention when it was my fault? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:40 PM PDT At school on Friday me and some friends were playing a ball game outside, I threw the ball to my friend and it hit one of the teachers. Even though I was the one who threw the ball, my friend was given a detention, I told the teacher it was me and I should be the one in detention but she didn't believe me. I feel really bad about it and my friend is mad at me. Her detention isn't until Monday, is there anything I can do to get her out of it? I did tell the teacher I did it, but she didn't believe me. |
Question: My friend snapped at me months ago and I'm still angry? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:27 PM PDT About 4 years ago I told my childhood friend that I'd been searching for where I'd come from for a long time, she was very interested in everything I had to say and repeatedly reassured me that it didn't bother her when I talked about it. Even still, I only brought it up once every few months or so. And then finally several months ago I made a huge breakthrough in my research and wanted to tell her, however when I brought it up to her she snapped at me and said "So you made contact with people you might be related to? So what? I want to focus on what's important to me." I told her that's fine of course, but since we always talk about that, I just wanted a minute to mention this. She got more irritated with me for being bothered, which made me realize how much she was disrespecting me and my feelings, so I thanked her for the ride home and left. I haven't contacted her since. She hasn't contacted me either besides a text and a call about someone else. A month after our "fight" I received a bracelet and a card saying "Sorry I said stupid stuff to you" from her. Problem is, she'd ordered this bracelet as an apology for something else prior to our fight, so I don't even know if she's just using it to apologize for both or what. Anyway, I don't know what to do, I mean we've been friends our wholes lives and I guess I just assumed she'd grow out of her more toxic behaviors in time because at her core she's a decent person, but now I don't know if I was just being an idiot. |
Question: How to help my friend realize? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:11 PM PDT My friend's older sister's nickname for her is Chico, and Im not Spanish but I think this is very offensive especially bc she is a girl not a boy? We have Spanish and Latino friends but they dont seem to care? How do I tell them politely that they should be offended? |
Question: How do I tell my friend that I am annoyed by them? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:03 PM PDT I have a problem with not telling my friends how I feel in order to avoid conflict and it leads to problems where I just bottle it all up or brush it off my shoulder and say it's fine and then I suddenly explode when I've had it and it really needs to stop. Recently, I made a new friend and they...aren't the greatest at responding to messages and calls and I really want our friendship to thrive but the lack of communication just...needs to stop. I really like this person and I still want to be friends with them but how do I tell them that what they're doing is annoying me? |
Question: If a guy says your bf is lucky to have you....? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 03:40 PM PDT is he flirting?? |
Question: How do you make friends? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 03:13 PM PDT I do not just mean how to meet people. Once you meet someone, how on earth do you then get to a point where you can be friends? I honestly don't know how you make friends. No idea at all. I've had casual friends who I've met via work and would go out drinking with but those aren't real friends I could just hang out with or call up if I needed to talk/someone to call if they needed to talk. I've only ever had something like this with my boyfriends, which really isn't ideal. Now I've no friends at all and I'm not even sure I know how to have fun anymore as when I've tried going out with acquaintances I've not been able to get into it. |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 03:05 PM PDT Hello my name is Amr and I'm going through a weird point in my life. I am no longer the person I used to be. I used to be able to talk to people normally and be able to hold a conversation, now it's gone. I used to be so confident in myself but now I don't know how to reply to people anymore and I feel very awkward. Long story short, I don't feel like me anymore. What is going on with me. I feel very suicidal and I don't want to be in this state anymore. Someone please help me make sense of this. Thank you. |
Question: I am jealous of my friend's life? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 02:55 PM PDT I used to be her BEST friend in school days and even at work. But then she got married. And I am jealous because she found the ideal man that I want. The husband I was looking for look wise or even money wise also the same age as me. I stopped being friends with her because I can't tell the jealousy. Even though I am no longer friends with her, I can't stop thinking about how my life is messed up with right now, no degree, no school, no job and no husband and no kid while my friend has everything in life that I dreamed of. Why is life so unfair to some people like me? |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 02:23 PM PDT Lately it's been getting to me that all my friends drink and for medical reasons I can't. I'm 23 so it's kinda a big drinking age. Anyway I don't go out anymore because I feel like I'm not part of what they're doing. I know it sounds stupid and I should get over it but it's hard. Thanks for the answers. |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 01:50 PM PDT I'm a 30 yo F. I moved out for the first time when I was 26 yo for an internship. I didn't have much money 4 years ago and I started to share a room in a flat with other 3 rommates. After a few months I was hired. 4 years ago I didn't know how to clean the house. My 3 roomates then thought I was immature and strange because of that and because I had strange behaviors. One of my ex roomates told me I wasn't normal and she was sorry for me. I cried for maybe 2 weeks non-stop. I still feel like she's right so I'm still crying for that. I thought about moving out but I afraid that maybe the same thing would happen again. I'm also afraid of living alone. Now live in the same place with one of my original roomates (29) and I hate her. I also live with other 2 new girls (25 and 21). My 21 yo roomate is messy, she smokes in the house, she cleans badly but she's kind. My 2 other roomates told me it's partly my fault she didn't learn how to clean because I didn't complained enough with her and I behaved with her like my parents did with me. For moths I spent time with my 21 yo roomate feeling so bad because my 2 other roomates decided to kick her out months ago and they forbidden me to say anything to her. Now she knows they decided to kick her out in 2 month and she asked me why I didn't say anything to her. I wrote her I'm sorry I didn't say anything but she didn't reply. What should I do? I'm writing in English because I don't want to be recognized |

Question: Is she being closed off? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 01:28 PM PDT I texted a girl how's she doing and how's school, and she replied great, thanks.. I hope you are doing well yourself. Is she being closed off? |
Question: How do I resolve this issue with my friend? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 01:09 PM PDT So my friend asks me sometimes to go for a walk and I say "ok" if I'm free. Only problem is that he tells me to meet up at his place and he usually just stays there talking and playing gta and smoking sigarettes while I expected to actually walk. He's done that a few times and it bothers me because for starters I don't like to inhale smoke, then if he asks me for a walk I'd like to actually walk since I don't walk that much during the day because I work 9 till 5. Any advice? |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:46 PM PDT So, I'm currently 14 and I have some friends. I can make a lot of friends but i don't normally keep them for that long and I don't really get that close to them. I can't really become friends with a group of people either. I text people occasionally but I never hangout with people. I don't know how to ask someone to hangout and I don't know what we could do if we were to see each other. I'm always bored and seeing on social media how everyone is constantly hanging out with their friends and their groups. I want to be able to do that. I also joined band at my school so that I could meet more people. But it's summer and I'm stuck at home because I can't socialize. Please help. |
Question: Do white men like black women? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 10:29 AM PDT I'm a black woman and I've been talking to this white guy. I took a chance asking him if we could be friends with benefits. Because I had a feeling that he liked me. When I asked him he said he was always into me. We haven't gone out yet and we haven't had sex. I don't want anything serious with him but I'm just wondering. |
Question: A girl straight up rubbed her pussy against my thigh last night? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 10:24 AM PDT i went clubbing last night |
Question: Why is it my friend is acting as is they want to end our friendship? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 10:01 AM PDT They keep saying our friendship is toxic and how bad it is, but I've seen her with others that treat her badly. Is it because she's only used to those relationships that she thinks ours is bad, or had the other friend been pressuring her to stop our friendship? |
Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:37 AM PDT I'm a guy, she's a girl, around same age and work together. As she walked in yesterday I said hi but she walked past saying nothing. Maybe she didn't hear? Later, she walked over to me and another worker who doing something. I asked her if she was ok, and she looked up from her cell phone and "I will be" and it looked like she gave me an angry look. I've been going over my head for two days thinking if I did or said something. I don't think I did, I honestly always try to make sure i don't say or do anything a woman might not like, I know I didn't touch her. I think she's pretty but...i don't know I asked my other coworker and he said she's was having a bad few days and not me. But what if he's lying? She did say bye to me as I left. I think she did. But what if she was just looking at me and someone else said and I didn't think? I can't ask her either I'm way too shy . |
Question: Is it immature to still be renting a few hotels rooms for a drinking party at their age? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:33 AM PDT Some of my friends are 25-28 years but they recently rented a few rooms for a vacation in Miami. And they ended up super blacked out drunk. They have jobs but they went last weekend for fun |
Question: If a girl grabbed my hands and put them on her boobs is that a sign that she likes me? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:25 AM PDT she had been consuming beverages |
Question: I dont get him. Why is he acting like this? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:11 AM PDT We broke up and when I tried going back(6 months ago) he said he wouldn't forgive me for saying something about his mom when he said something to mine first(idiotic).I didn't chase him. We ran into eachother one day i expected him to ignore but he smiled and said hi.Now he keeps looking at me, making eye contact and i caught him looking at me sneakily through the door crack. He's started coming out about the same time as I do and he said hi hesitantly and smiling. Few Sundays ago I was going down the stairs and he was behind me. He was "on the phone" saying he was leaving church and would call back which wasn't necessary since church was already over. I feel like he did it so I'd know he was behind me. We walked next to eachother he smiled and said how are you. We had a few exchanges and I asked him about his sick brother. The following week he didnt show himself inside church(he's a deacon) as I was leaving he was behind me going down the stairs. I turned around just saw a glimpse of him and turned back around didn't say hi. It was my birthday this Sunday, we kept looking at eachother, he came out at the same time as I was leaving but I got caught up with church members otherwise we'd be gong down the stairs together. I'm assuming he did this because he wanted to talk. Could he be wanting to make a move? Why wouldn't he text me though? |
Question: What are your first impressions of us? *Photo*? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 09:01 AM PDT Curious to see what kind of impressions my friend and I give off individually and as a group. All single and we want to see what kind of vibes we portray |
Question: Guys, would you go to a wedding?? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 07:57 AM PDT at a nudist camp if everyone could see you were the real BEST MAN? |
Question: Why would a guy do this to his wife? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 07:50 AM PDT I teach a computer class. One of my students Betty ask me if I could drive her home after class. I said sure. As I drove up to her house. You could not call it a house. Mansion was a better description. I remarked "What a beautiful home you have". She said "I got it in my divorce when I caught my husband screwing his secretary". I like a woman that tells it like it is don't you? She insisted I come in for a cup of coffee and cake as her way of saying thank you. While talking and drinking the coffee I saw a picture of her on the wall being crowned Miss (our state). I told her what a beautiful picture and a well deserved honor. Then she showed me some pictures of other beauty contest she had won. I would sure like to see the secretary he lost a trophy wife for. She must be something else. Why would a guy with a wife that is this great looking and is such a nice person be caught screwing his secretary. He was not thinking with his head was he? He was probably thinking with another part of his body wasn't he? |

Question: Why is he always so sweet? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 07:31 AM PDT There's this super sweet guy that comes in to buy food at my store. He's a friend of mine and he brings me homemade treats and coffee. He brings me treats when I'm happy and more when I'm sad. Like I was sad one time after some guy insulted me and he stood up for me and then brought me my favorite chocolate bar and a note saying I should smile because it's his second favorite thing about me. My coworkers said aww to him and about the thing he did. Yesterday was hot and he brought me a shaved ice drink and I told him he was sweet. He brought me a sandwich too and my coworkers grew jealous again. They're always saying that he likes me, but he can't be that way. He acts nervous sometimes and he hugs me when I'm crying. |

Question: Is our friendship over? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 05:30 AM PDT My birthday was Monday and I made plans almost a month before to go out to eat with my best friends that night. I texted my friend one of my best friends Monday morning and told her the place we were meeting and she told me she promised her boyfriend she would cook for him so she couldn't go. I just stopped responding to her because I don't understand how you could promise your boyfriend you'd cook for him on your best friends birthday. She also hasn't tried to reach out to me since. So is our friendship over? What should I do? |
Question: How to deal with one's misfortunes when you're doing well? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 04:29 AM PDT My friends and I took AP and we got our results and are going out to celebrate. The thing is some didn't pass and are still coming because we didn't want them to feel left out. But how do I deal with them? I don't want them to feel bad. What do I say when they ask what I got? I got the highest possible score, 5, and they got a 2 or 1 on the same test when we had the same class together. Do I be secretive or tell them or try to cheer them up? I'm so socially awkward |

Question: Should I contact her again? Posted: 07 Jul 2018 12:54 AM PDT I was in a student film for the director's final. I was in a small scene, but still. The student film was filmed on June 18th. I avoided contacting her because I thought I would be a pest, but I contacted her on July 1st about when the film would be completed. She said that she's almost done with it and that it would probably be done by the middle of the week. I said okay. It's June 7th now and still nothing. I'm very anxious and I want footage of the film. I want to contact her again, but again, I don't know if I would be a pest. Should I contact her again? What should I do?? |
Posted: 06 Jul 2018 11:45 PM PDT Ok so this should really be titled whose the bad friend but I've been thinking more about this and I'm starting to think I'm the bad friend. I think this because im always complaining about them, the reason why is because I feel like they arnt actually my friends. So to start off they dont listen to me at all, they'll ask me if I wanna do something and I'll say I cant because I have planes or I'm with my family but then they say "yeah right you dont have a life blah blah blah who cares about your family you can spend another day with them" Also when I give an idea they either ignore me or say it's a lame idea yet like five minutes later they say the thing I said and act like I never said it! Also they get mad at me when I dont Invite them to play games with me, like I'd be playing fortnite and then they say why didnt you ask to play with us its boring to play that alone, yet they dont always invite me also when it's late at night and I dont wanna be in a call with them they get mad at me, I dont wanna wake anyone up though. Also... dang I say also a lot XD... anyways they say they're embarrassed to be around me and when I ask why they dont give me an exact answer they say I'm annoying or act weird, ever since we got to high school they dont talk to me as much during school anymore! Also I'm shy and not as outgoing as they are so they get mad at me because I dont wanna hang 24/7 I have more to say but the word count isn't big enough XD One friend is mean to me when all my other friends are around, but alone hes nice, and they all act like im stupid, they even call me stupid all the time too, one time my friend couldnt find something so I said " It's always in the last place you look, so try looking there firs" and they all just acted like WTF and asked me if i was retarded, and I know if they're joking or not and they weren't. They're never really there for me, and always leave me on read and dont reply to me I know my joke was lame but still, and they always shoot down my ideas and stuff, I get joking around and stuff but they do it to much and when I do it in return they get mad at me... I have more to say but I can't think of how to say them... |

Posted: 06 Jul 2018 11:03 PM PDT Some graduates wore heavy makeup, ash blonde hair, leather jackets, suit pants. There was almost NO ONE in grades 8, 9 or 10 dressing like that. I'm from Canada and there isn't a dress code enforced on younger students that says you can't wear it. I can only come up with 3-4 girls in my 10th grade with leather jackets and some girls with makeup, but none of them fit the description I wrote above (because they don't have the WHOLE look). Naturally, the younger kids tend to have a different style than the seniors. You can easily tell which ones are the 13-16 year olds from the 18 year olds. Why is there such a huge difference? |
Posted: 06 Jul 2018 10:15 PM PDT I have been dating my boyfriend for 1 year. He is a surgery resident and had to move to another state 2 weeks ago for residency. We decided that we love each other enough to give long distance a fair shot. Due to the huge move and such, he is in a bad financial situation at the moment. He will be back on track in a month or two once he starts getting paid again (residents get paid~60K during residency, but the state he moved to is very expensive) Long story short, because his residency schedule is crazy (hospital Mon-Sun from 4 am to 6 pm at minimum)..he made it clear that I will have to be the one visiting him majority of the time. I understand & sympathize with that. I am going to visit in 2 weeks-I just bought my ticket. I am 22 & I currently not employed since i am in college full-time. The money that I have to spend is the monthly amount I get from my dad (he is helping me since im a student). I initially didn't mind having to pay for my own plane ticket because I presumed he would cover the fees of taking me out while i visit. I told my mom about this and she says that it is not right for him to not be paying for my tickets. I kind of sarcastically hinted that to him while we were on the phone (when i told him I got my ticket) & he responded, "oh sorry..you know what my situation has been like.. i got your next one." I would feel uncomfortable asking for that though. Should he be paying for my tickets or should I? |
Question: Pal's Wedding Registry an Exclusively Kitchen & Food Wishlist? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 09:18 PM PDT Hi. My 32-year old pal has put the ring on his fiancee and the wedding is scheduled for the end of this year. He is approximately 300 lbs. & his bride-to-be is closing in on about 375 lbs. They spent several weeks deciding on an array of cheap to expensive gifts for their registries, and finally posted them up online. The thing is they are all food and kitchen related. Everything from cookware, cutting boards, and rolling pins to cakes, cookies, and pies. There are no draperies, linens, sheets, towels, or other stuff a newlywed couple might need to be found anywhere on their lists. Nope, just cooking stuff and tasty pastries. Mutual friends were hoping that this new life would set them on a new path that hopefully would lead them out of the kitchen and maybe on a trip to a new and exciting place or maybe even a gym membership, but our hopes are somewhat dashed after seeing these registries. My question today is as follows: Should we indulge this couple by bestowing upon them these food-favoring gifts fit for a master chef, or would we be better friends by giving more traditional items that cannot be retooled for food-preparation purposes or be outright swallowed whole? |
Question: I have friends but they don't talk to me? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 08:48 PM PDT I easily make acquaintances, and sometimes we'll become friends, but not best friends. If I see my friends in person, like at school, we'll talk. But out of school or work, they don't text, call, or ask to hang out, especially now during summer break. The only times a friend would text or hang out with me is if I initiate the conversation or if I ask if they want to hang out. Am I just being antisocial? Maybe boring? Should I continue to intiate conversations? Or maybe there's a possibility that they don't like me enough to want to have a closer friendship? Haha. |
Question: How can I know if someone is a real friend or a fake friend? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 08:14 PM PDT |
Question: Is it ok to not have friends? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 07:49 PM PDT growing up I always wanted that one best friend who would be like a sister to me someone I could tell my secrets to a friend that was drama free. During my 29 years on this earth the friends I had were no good too me talked about judged me, took advantage of me, was just being plain messy, only called when they needed something. A five year friendship just ended with two of my friends because someone took what I said and ran with it twisted my words and lied just a whole bunch of drama. I don't think I want anymore friends after this. |
Posted: 06 Jul 2018 06:44 PM PDT I don't know how to talk to people and sound like I actually want to talk to them. my conversations always end quickly and I don't really feel like anxiety when talking i just never have anything to say to whoever im talking to. I wasn't always like this until 5th grade started, before that, i was so talkative and talking to friends was fun .-. I don't know whats wrong with me or how to get over this but it's really starting to bother me :( |
Question: How can I politely tell someone that she’s on my last nerve and driving me crazy? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 06:26 PM PDT A friend of mine is head over heels with this man who is 20 years younger and lives in England. It's obvious he isn't interested in her and I'm sick of hearing about it. |
