Question: Do you think I was out of line? Posted: 02 Jun 2018 03:48 PM PDT I met one of my students for math tutoring and she was wearing a diamond ring and I asked her if her boyfriend proposed, how and when.. She looked uncomfortable with my question. Do you think my questions were personal? I have not seen her for a while. She is in her early twenties and I tutored her for 2 months and then we had 2 months break and now I am back to tutoring her. Were my questions out of line? |

Question: Having the father of the child at the birth? Posted: 02 Jun 2018 07:47 AM PDT We split at 26 weeks, due to him being unfaithful. He made no effort, I tried to keep him included with updates, and he showed little interest, claiming it was my way of keeping contact and trying to make us work. 32 weeks he began making effort as I didn't bother contacting him, however he is manipulative and loves to make me miserable. He states that the reason we ended was because the baby isn't his. When he knows it is, he's the only person it could possibly be as I have been faithful to him for three and a half years. He got his family to believe it, and they all demand a DNA test, I don't object to as I have no worries that it is his. He's treat me bad using emotional abuse knowing how to get me at my weakest, pointing out I look fat and would tell me that the clothes I wore didn't fit me, knowing I struggled with body image, I keep myself as active as I can whilst being pregnant. For the past 8 weeks its made me miserable. Now he demands he is at the birth and he has a right to be there. I don't want to stop a relationship between him and the baby, he states he wants to be involved, I am more than willing to put aside how he has treat me so the baby feels safe, loved and knows both parents. However I don't feel comfortable him being there. Does he have any rights? I was thinking to message him once the baby is born. Ive been told that I don't even have to have him come to the hospital and I can make him wait til I'm back home, until he meets the baby. How true is this? |
Question: Why did he ask if I drink? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 10:21 PM PDT We are from the same university program, and had saw each other frequently at the campus library but didn't talk until he approached recently. Now we have been studying almost everyday at the library, sometimes with others, but mostly just us at the computers. Recently, he asked me out of nowhere "Do you drink?" without any context beforehand. To that I said, "No. Well, depends, I like wine sometimes. I'm more of a homebody". He then said that he has quit drinking. What was this about? Did he think I was going to agree to get drunk? He has a girlfriend. We have never hungout before. Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I don't think he has hinted anything about hanging out. |
Question: How do women know that you like them as a person an not a sex object? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 09:35 PM PDT I know there are many beautiful women out there. I know a lot of men would want to have sex with a beautiful woman. I know that men do like the beautiful woman for who she is. I have this lady friend of mine that I would do anything to have sex with her but she is also a nice person. Now how are women able to tell if men want them for a sex object or as a person? |
Question: Ex bf sent me a friend request after I've avoided all of his contact for 2 years? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 05:17 PM PDT Me and my ex broke up 4 years ago. I tried to get back together a year later but he had a gf, so I let it all go and tried to move on. He has always continued to contact me for stupid reasons, like a work related question or a health related question, info he could've easily got from other ppl. 2 years ago, I stopped answering to his attempts at contact, but the last time we spoke he did say he was still hurt over us. Now, he has unblocked me from FB and sent me request about a month ago, and I accepted it because I've moved on, but he hasn't said anything. Plus he has me on a limited profile. Any reasons why you guys think someone would do this? Send someone a request, put them on a limited profile, and then not say anything? |
Question: Am I making a big deal about what my neighbor did? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 02:35 PM PDT Last weekend I was going to our neighborhood pool, and stopped by a neighbor's house to drop something off on the way. I started putting sunscreen on, and the neighbor asked if I wanted her to get my back. I said sure, so she put sunscreen on my back. Then she asked if I got my thighs. I didn't put sunscreen on my thighs because my swimming trunks covered my thighs. She said that you still need to put it on your thighs. So she put some on my thighs. She went further up my thighs than I thought she was going to, and a little on to my butt (kind of just under the mesh part). I said that "you're going kind of far up". She said oh relax....do you know how many times I've changed your diapers? I didn't say anything to my mom, but wondering if I should. Is this a big deal? I'm 15 and this lady has known me my whole life. She took care of me during the day for several years while my mom went to work. |
Question: Could someone be trying to rob me? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 01:30 PM PDT Since november of last year of been hearing 3 loud knocks/bangs atleast once a week. A friend told me someone was probably trying to rob me and that was the way robbers checked to see if someone is home. But when i open the door or look out the window no strange cars or people are outside. Even when im to lazy to get up and look though nothing happens, the doorknob doesnt rattle and my passcode lock doesnt beep. It always comes in 3 though so im guessing it would be the same person. I guess someone could be pranking me but i only have 2 neighbors and theyre both elderly. Its every week though and i never knew someone that dedicated for a prank. Maybe something in my house is breaking and making that noise but idk what that would be. Any help on what you think it could be and how to make it stop is appreciated :) |
