So they got a new horse and he likes to have different moods. He can be such a sweet heart and then just take off with you randomly. I rode him about 3 times and then he dislocated my knee cap (long story, happened in May). I rode him 2 weeks ago and he was perfectly fine. I canter him that night. I rode him again today, and he took off with me. My instructor told me I was tensing up when he took off with me. Therefore he went faster, and she said that I was squeezing my knees. I know that you have to be very calm and relax while riding him. I felt calm while he took off with me, but apparently I was tensing up so... Is there a way I can practice how to ride calmly on him and not tense up? Like to make sure my knees aren't squeezing. Next time, I plan on talking to my instructor so I can work on that, I really want to become a better rider. How do I stay relax when my horse takes off with me? |

They spend their days traveling the world and selling self help seminar packages to depressed people for a living. They will charge upwards of $3500 for a weekend retreat explaining "the secret to manifesting abundance, wealthy and prosperity and having the ability to become a digital nomad traveling the world in luxury" They're all in their 20s and the reason they have the money is because the spend all day online sharing spiritual quotes and posting professional photographs of beaches and themselves on private jets etc.They were also born wealthy, some even refer to themselves as "socialites". They're the type of people that will follow 10k people on instagram to get those people to follow them back and then unfollow all of them so it looks like they have 10k followers and only follow 100 people just to look cool and "famous". I noticed that all of his socialite friends (a group of 20 or so) share each others photos and write reviews about each others retreats giving positive feedback. They guy I'm dating is part of this group and encourages them. It all seems like a big scam to me, praying upon vulnerable, lost, depressed and grieving people for big bucks at these retreats only to eat brunch, share spiritual quotes and write up an insincere plan to change their lives |

We agreed he would get a job and I would have the kids and we would move out of state. Now I'm older and I want something a little bit different. I want a job which he encourages me to go for but he never holds down a job for long and it takes quite a while between them. He also now doesn't even want to move out of this area at all. Now I'm not a walk in the park I was abused when I was younger which is why I want to leave the area and because of his inactivity I tell him I don't want to be together almost daily. It has been four years and he still has only had two jobs. We are currently living with his family and they are kind to me and I care deeply for them but they keep telling me that I'm going to have to get the job that he wont at all. Then they also tell me I should stay with him. When I tell him I don't want to be together he pleads and tells me it will be different but so far it isn't I see change little bits of change but not in the problem areas. Now we both love video games but I take care of the dogs I clean the house pretty much by myself with little to no help from his family member or him and I still play but he plays all night and sleeps during the day. We don't ever do anything really outside of the house together. I feel alone, lied to, and like he never wanted the things I want. |

He's started coming out about the same time as I do and he said hi hesitantly and smiling. Few Sundays ago I was going down the stairs and he was behind me. He was "on the phone" saying he was leaving church and would call back which wasn't necessary since church was already over. I feel like he did it so I'd know he was behind me. We walked next to eachother he smiled and said how are you. We had a few exchanges and I asked him about his sick brother. The following week he didnt show himself inside church(he's a deacon) as I was leaving he was behind me going down the stairs. I turned around just saw a glimpse of him and turned back around didn't say hi. He would look to lock eyes with me and smile when we'd be close now even though throughout church he keeps staring but now he doesn't smile anymore even though we look at eachother. | Question: Should I give my ex another chance? Posted: 26 Jun 2018 03:22 PM PDT My ex and I broke up 4 years ago because cheated on me. After that I cut off all communication with him and moved on with my life. He had reached out to me a few times to apologize for what happened and wished me well but I never responded. However, just a few months ago, he had been on my mind and finally I decided to reach out to him, just to see how he was doing, how life was going etc. And we have been talking ever since. Things feel different with us in a good way. I feel like we get a chance to start over and we've already talked about what happened with the cheating thing and he's apologized numerous times and we're both willing to move on from it. I'm okay with giving him another chance and of course my eyes are going to be open and I'm going to take my time with him. But what do you think? Is it a good idea? Also I'm nervous about what my mom is gonna say because she can be very harsh and critical about who I date. Advice needed please. :-) |

We have done a lot together dinners, concerts, roadtrips, all kinds of things. About 2 months ago I told her I liked her...she was very rude/blunt with her rejection, "I don't like you and my opinion will never change. Don't think 'challenge accepted' and try to change my opinion, because my opinion of you will never change." As someone who has taken her out to dinner multiple times, thoughtful gifts etc. I felt this was a pretty mean way to tell me. She also said, "Sometimes I think you only like me because I check all the boxes." Not sure what that means?? That night I sent her a text expressing how I felt she was very mean with the words she used. For someone who couldn't have been nicer to her, she had absolutely no empathy. About a week later I tried to apologize for calling her mean (I don't like to live with tension/grudges between people). She ignored my texts, voicemail and email. She may have even deleted my number all because of one text I sent. I will see her in class for the next 3 years. It's been 2 months now since I tried to apologize to her. I hate having this negative cloud hanging over my head. Never in my entire life have I had someone not respond/ completely cut me off from their life. We were very very close friends. The only thing I could do is try to send her message on Facebook? |
