How do you explain this? She only dates guys who are chubby and usually hairy. She thinks Cenk is "sooooo cute" and has the "cutest smile". She's not trolling because she dates guys who look similar to this!! She is a good looking girl. She is at least a 7/10 without makeup. She could be dating chads but she chooses to date guys who are chubby and unattractive. They don't even have a lot of money so she's not a gold digger. She's just a chubby chaser. So is my sister the exception to the lookism rules?? Or does she disprove the rule all together?? I dont understand why women aren't interested in me but how women think that cenk is hot. Will turn her shoulder away blocking my view and read or reply. When I ask her what's up she says that it's girl stuff and none of my business. Now I am fairly certain that the topics of these conversations would be pretty boring by my standards, but it makes me feel almost like I have people whispering in front of me. It's starting to drive me up the wall. I told my wife that if she's going to do that all the time I'd appreciate her letting me know what was going on but she's not receptive. My ex husband recently came home from prison and now has a new girlfriend so he isn't spending time with my kids, who are 6 and 4, but gets his older kid who is almost 10. He doesn't call to check on them, doesn't answer the door when I take them to visit, and has excuses as to why he can't get them on his weekend. When they do go, my weekends DRAG and I hate it. He doesn't usually answer the phone to let me talk to them, but calls me with my daughter crying bc she wants me but he says she is fine. How can I handle this? Just be the bigger person and don't approach him unless he calls. I will text him on his weekend and if he says he is getting them take them over? Help!!!! TIA!

I don't expect him to go to every family events but during bad times i would appreciate if he could be there and be little supporative but nope. He doesn't want to even go to their house to give respect. I have been with him for 9 years now & dealing with emotional abuse. My parents doesn't know about it. I am not sure how true this is, but I heard from several people at a church her fiance used to attend that when he was engaged a few years ago, his then fiance called off the wedding because he refused to get counseling and anger management issues she asked him to resolve while dating.

When there is any topic that he doesn't want to discuss, I get the silent treatment instead of trying to talk it through, asking how to resolve it, or adding comments or advice. When he does talk, I get the " I don't know" replies like a child would answer. Everything is on me and there is no open communication. He thinks talking is telling me all about the guys at work or giving me a play by play while watching baseball, then there is no shutting him up. I am at the end of my rope with this relationship and can't take this form of emotional abuse any longer, yet he reminds me of how good I have it with him.. Any "long timers" out there struggling with this and what do you do to resolve times like these?
