Question: Engagement ring vs. Wedding ring? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 09:53 PM PDT I'm going shopping for my fiancee qedding ring but I don't know if I should get a more expensive ring than her engagement ring or be more flashy than her other ring. What should I look for in a wedding ring |
Posted: 07 Apr 2016 07:21 PM PDT My boyfriend recently proposed to me, so yes we are engaged! I am so happy and excited to spend the rest of my life with him. He did not have a ring, but immediately after I said yes he told me I can pick out a ring that I want under $3,000 which he had set aside. He said he wanted to make sure its exactly what I want, and I wasn't upset at all by the fact that he didt have a ring. In fact, I didn't even think about it, I was so happy. I am glad I get to pick my ring, I looked online for hours to find the one I love, but there were so many options. I picked out a rose gold, cushion cut morganite ring that is gorgeous. Anyways, is this becoming common? I have read about plenty of other engagements where the guy did the same thing. Your opinion? |
Question: Fiances family is doing everything? And I feel guilty? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 06:36 PM PDT Idk I just need to know if any one had this happen. OK I'm poor thats just how it is and my fiance family is really well off. It doesnt matter cuz he is so good to me and I love him so much. And were getting married July. His mom and dad are kind of cold to me but they are paying for everyt hing and doing every thing. They are having it at his dads club and his dad is friends with a county commissioner so he is doing the ceremony and they are paying reception and every thing. All I did was buy my dress and my maid of honor dress and my fiance even gave me his credit card for that (I didnt want him to but he did) And OK I fantazized about my wedding since I was a little girl of course but once I met him I would have got married in jeans and a teeshirt if I could be with him. And I know just cuz of how hed act some times his parents were trying to get him not to marry me I know I'm not good enough for them. I dont know what to do for them. I cant pay for any thing and I want to tell them I will be the best wife I can be for their son and I want them to accept me but right now I just feel like Im some kind of charity case and there just doing this for him like they bought him a car when he was 16 or something. I really would like some one to tell me how do I pay them back or show them I appreciate it? Thanks so much. |
Question: Wedding or not? I can't decide? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 06:33 PM PDT My fiance and I have been trying to plan our wedding/reception/honeymoon for quite some time now but we are just having the hardest time! It's coming to the point where we get so frustrated and just don't even want to talk about it and we'll go for weeks, even months without planning a single thing! We are well off, and by well off i mean we both work full time jobs, we have our own home, cars etc..We pay all of our bills and occasionally go out for some "us" time. We are not rich by any means, and both of our families are full of hard working people as well. No one can just dish out a couple thousand dollars for our wedding. Our idea lately has been to go get our marriage license instead of having a big wedding, have a nice big reception afterwards..and all the money we saved to use towards an amazing honeymoon instead! Are there any other couples out there who have done something like this? Would this be a bad idea? I don't exactly have a problem with it, i just know that you only get married once (hopefully) and it's supposed to be a special day and i don't want to regret not having an actual huge ceremony 10 years down the road. Plus, i really want to be all dolled up in a beautiful white wedding dress :( I've tried everything i can when it comes to trying to save money, but life is life and it's hard to set back hundreds of dollars when you have bills every month! And it seems as though everywhere i look, a wedding and reception would cost us like 4000$ ! (I'm in Lancaster, PA.) Plus another 3000$ to go on our honeymoon, it's just not realistic for us! And ideas or suggestions? Maybe even ways to save as much money as possible during a wedding and reception? I know the reception is always what costs so much because i have to feed every stinking person! Lol. I know it's long so thanks for any advice! |
Question: Do men cheat in bachelor's parties? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 05:20 PM PDT My boyfriend is going to Miami this weekend for a bachelor's party... he is the best man... I'm almost sure they will go to a strip club... and, even if they don't... it's Miami... lot's of girls in swimwear will be present in the beach and pool... :( I know it's normal for guys to go to those things... in fact, the groom talks about strip clubs himself and his fiance doesn't seem to mind... I was shocked the first time I was having dinner with them... My bf said he goes to strip clubs in those kind of situations with the crew because he doesn't want to be the only "prude guy" saying no, and the other guys will make fun of him if he says "no"... like... it's a guys ego thing... I'm OK with him going, as long as it's for pure visual entertainment but not cheating :s... Do guys usually cheat on bachelor's parties? |
Question: Getting married while in college? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 03:03 PM PDT My boyfriend and I are both in college and have been dating for a little over a year. We're planning on getting married sometime next summer. But if you're a full time student, how do you pay for a wedding and a honeymoon? We both love each other and feel like we're ready to get married, but I want the wedding of my dreams that I've been picturing since I was a little girl and I'd rather wait another year than to have a cheap wedding just so we can get married. If you got married in college, how did you pay for it all? Also, do you feel like getting married in college is a good idea? |
Question: Sad,hurt and feel alone.? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 02:48 PM PDT I have been engaged for 3 years. My fiance is great I love him so much. His brother and I had a falling out a year ago and havent spoken since. I have apologized and nothing. now he is getting married next month. I was not invited to the wedding even though I have no problem with him attending mine they are brothers. I feel i should be apart of the family people they barely know got invited. Im very hurt and upset by this my fiance says he tried to talk to him but does no good. They have treted me bad for awhile and my fiance allows it. Im hurt he would consider going to the wedding without me. Am I being unreasonable? Im not just a girlfriend but someone thats marrying his brother in a short time what are your thoughts? What do I do? I want to make things better for the sake of my upcoming marriage but feel this will cause permanent problems |
Question: Cool places to have a wedding? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 01:47 PM PDT I recently got engaged and was thinking of places to have the wedding, but I want to go somewhere different to have it, not like the beach, a church or Vegas, all I came up with was maybe a forest wedding, but my hearts not really set on it, any suggestions or advice? Maybe places you or someone you know have had a wedding? |
Question: Is my filipina wife cheating on me with the pool boy? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 01:47 PM PDT She is almost 19 and I am a handsome 55 year old man. I look good for my age aside from my balding head which I shave and I look at least 15 years younger. She always closes her eyes during sex and refuses to kiss me and acts repulsed. She always talks about her infatuation with male celebrities like Justin Biber and Shane Maleek. Should I dress more like them? Before anyone says she is just a gold digger- that is not true. I am not a rich man. She acted attracted to me when I was visiting her in the Philippines but then as soon as I brought her to the US and she discovered young hollywood heartthrobs like Justin Beber and Shane Maleek, she lost attraction to me. Shes always staring at our 21 year cabana boy who looks kind of like shane Maleek and making up excuses to talk to him. I can't stop thinking about them when I'm at work earning enough money to take her on another lavish shopping spree to Rodeo Drive or to send her family money to build their Villa in Manila. |
Posted: 07 Apr 2016 01:18 PM PDT I'm 23 f, getting married next month. My fiancé booked a hotel room on our wedding night. We've only kissed and hugged so far only. He said he can wait even though he's done it before but not me. So what should I do in the hotel room? My maid of honor said I should be the one to take my wedding gown off and everything else off. She also said I need to suck his dick. Should I do that? How long does the sex part last and will I like it? I've masterbated before many times but that's all I've done. |
Question: After the wedding bachelorette party? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 12:52 PM PDT My aunt is getting married at the courthouse tomorrow. Very small group of people and keeps saying it's not a big deal and you don't have to come if you don't want to take work off. Upon speaking with her today I realized she didn't have a bachelorette party and only had a wedding shower at her work. Our family is definitely not traditional and she brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal. I had totally forgetten about the idea since I didn't think she would want one, but now I feel like I should have thrown her one anyways since she didn't have a moh to plan one. Well, the wedding is tomorrow and I was trying to come up with ideas for after the wedding celebration girls gathering. Maybe drinks and a dinner or something like that since she obviously won't be a bachelorette after tomorrow. She is 45 and I am quite younger so I would say throw one anyways but she doesn't think it's correct since she will already be married. Any ideas? |
Question: Should I go to my sisters wedding? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 12:46 PM PDT My oldest sister is getting married in July. She and I have always had a rocky relationship. I don't know why, but she has always disliked me. It's something my parents rarely attempted to intervene in when we were younger. She is close to our other sisters, too, which is what makes it confusing. Both our other sisters have been asked to be bridesmiads, but I wasn't. The last time we all had dinner at our parents house, she mentioned to her fiance how she hoped nobody pointed out that she only had two bridesmaids and he had three groomsmen (his three brothers). Later that same night, she told me she only sent me an invitation because she didn't want our parents on her back, but she doesn't want me there and would prefer it if I didn't attend. I guess I should be grateful, since I was finally able to let go of my wish to have a good relationship with her. My parents know what she said, because I had to tell them when they wanted me to go dress shopping with my mom. They still want me to go and say I'll only look petty. |

Question: Planning a barn wedding in Vermont or New Hampshire? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 11:55 AM PDT I m helping my best friend plan her wedding for July of 2017 and we are looking for a location generally with a barn/field. We have a reserved budget as we are going to do a lot ourselves (catering etc.) not opposed to an inn property where we could put a tent. The wedding will be 80 ppl max. Kid friendly. Lots of outdoorsy people so would love to be able to have fields for people to camp or a near by campground. We are all from Vermont and know of the normal "Vermont wedding venues" the Round Barn, Inn at Weathers Field etc. and both are gorgeous just not in our price range. Any opinions are welcome!!! |

Question: Does this diamond look clouded/oily? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 05:54 AM PDT I requested an image of it since it has strong florescence and I read that it *may* cause a milky look in the stone, but I honestly don't know anything about this and can't tell if this is oily/cloudy at all or looks good. I thought it may be a little cloudy looking but maybe because of lighting? Its clarity is a VS1(minor inclusions noticable at 10x), with color of E(almost no color). Any hints and info that I might not know would we appreciated as well! So feel free to throw in other information you have that isn't directly related. Here is a link to the image since yahoo is having some issue with uploading: http://postimg.org/image/6ruok9qj5/ |
