Posted: 16 Apr 2016 04:50 PM PDT im thirteen years old, so i cant just choose to move far away. heres a little backround on my situation: firstly, i constantly feel like im borned into the wrong family. i just wish so much that i lived with different people that were like me and fit my personality. i hate to admit it, and i probly sound real ungrateful, but i do not like my parents or my brothers. i personally feel they lack my morals and my dads just an upright asshole. secondly, i never fit in anywhere. seems like i cant ever call anybody a true friend. theres this girl i pissed off cause she claims to have all these problems and she two faced as hell tryna get peoples sympathy and im the kinda person that tells it like it is i aint no pussy right? well yeah. she has now made it her life person to turn every single person close to me AGAINST me. my so called 'best friend' hasnt even made eye contact with me in atleast three weeks. and i aint giving her the satisfaction of my reaction so thats hard as hell. also my real real besst friend ive had forever is another thing. i had an anxiety attack in front of her and she got real mad at me and weve never been the same. i always feel like she doesnt want to be around me. so i am just ACHING to move away and start over! i hate living here! i want to start over and it makes me so sad all the time i feel like everything here is ruined. :( |

But since I was 15 I want to be a musician and make music as my career. I want to go big one day and prove people wrong, so I can leave the past and have fun with my career. |

After that she would ask how it went and said glad to hear it went well. Her colleague said do you want this and held up a croissant and said she left it for you and said it with a smile as if she knew something and was trying to hide the smile. Then few days ago I went in there and there was 2 people in front of me and she then saw me and called her colleague out to serve the guy in front of me. I feel like they wouldn't even notice if I wasn't there and I'm second best to them. we still get along well, but in conversations it's hard to get a word in edge ways and we talk mostly about what they are doing and they have no interest in me really. I'm no longer the person they turn to with news, help or advice and I'm just expected to keep up. I'm afraid it's turning into a one way friendship and I'm just gonna get phased out anyways. I get along well with everyone in my year and I have friends outside this group, but I don't even know how I could leave a group and get closer with another. Fast forward a couple years and he tells me that "we should have kept the baby" and that it was "wrong that we never gave it a chance to be a person." He said that he never wanted me to have an abortion, but he went along with it because he didn t think he could change my mind. I dealt with my feelings about it a long time ago, but I guess he didn t until now. He recently got engaged, so I think that might be bringing up feelings about a different life he could have had. Ever since he told me that he has regrets about the abortion, I feel like he s pulling away from me. I love him and I don t want to lose him. She said she was adopted and I told her I was born from an egg donor and my dad and there were some embryos left and my parents sold a couple to other people and I have a younger sister (which I showed her pictures my mom showed me of her). My mom told me after I told her (I didn't tell my mom I told my friend) I shouldn't tell people about it because it's personal and she was really right. This "friend" loves pranking people. My ex tried to contact me for months & I ignored him and I have not spoken to him since. My ex eventually stopped contacting me after contacting me for several months and me ignoring him. The priest is retiring and moving out of the country & my ex won t ever see him again. After I left my ex husband the priest told me that my ex attends church every Sunday even during the week. My ex & I don t have any mutual friends. The priest is the only link between my ex and I. I don t know if my ex knows that the priest and I have stayed in touch. As soon as the father announced his retirement my ex husband wrote him a letter thanking him for the times he counseling us even tho it didn t work out between us & he said he wishes he could have had his faith sooner. Then he gave him a 2nd long letter confessing past regrets & he told the priest I didn t want to be a partner & that I had a hard time being away from my family which wasn t the reason for me leaving him. My ex and I are now in two different states. Why is the priest sharing some of the info in these letters with me? why is my ex husband writing all of this to the priest before he retired and left the country? Does my ex husbands timing to write and give these letters to the priest seem odd to you as well? Does it sound like my ex tells the priest this information hoping the priest will tell me about it? |

I'm not shy, I'm introverted. There's a difference. I'm pretty self confident, I just prefer to be alone. with this girl that I'm dating, do you think she'll care that I'm basically friendless? Girls would think "no friends" and connect that with a guy who would be clingy because of it. But that's not me. I would give her space because I know I need my alone time too. My only fear is that I don't give her enough attention, because I'm so withdrawn and used to being alone my whole life. it'll be different haven't a partner in my life regularly. I've been drawing ever since I can remember. I've always created characters. I draw them, name them, try to understand and figure out what they like and dislike. Being a character designer or anywhere near that is my biggest dream. The problem is, people don't understand. I'm not surrounded by artists. People don't see that i love arts and that's what i want to do for a living. My parents are finally convinced that I don't want to study law or architecture (after long fights and tears). And I'm so happy about that. But at school, my friends make fun of me (even though they tell me that I'm a great artist and that I shouldn't be so shy and insecure when it comes to arts). I never show them my characters, they always see them by accident. They tell me I'm good but that art is a hobby and that's they it should remain and I absolutely disagree. They say studying arts is a waste of time and energy and that its dumb. I always stay quiet and tell them it's not cool because they're all sensitive and **** and I don't want any fights especially in our last year. I love my friends but I just can't deal with them when they don't respect my choices and my hobbies. Don't tell me to talk to them about it bc at first they say "ok sorry" but then they'd joke about it even more. Even if I ignore their comments, it still hurts you know? |

Every morning when I get on to it, there are boys 3 years above me who try and make me miss it. Most of the time, they give me wedgies and will do until my boxers rip. How do I deal with fake friends? How do I know whether or not someone is just trying to use me for my money? The girls that didn't like me, all of a sudden are in love with me. What would you guys do? I am not arrogant or stuck up. I give back and try to show other kids how they can achieve what I have achieved. Yes, I treat myself to stuff, but I am still not a jerk. | Question: I hate randomly bumping into people I know? Posted: 16 Apr 2016 10:16 AM PDT It doesn't matter if they are just a classmate of mine or if we are best buddies. If I chance encounter them at a public place, I will avoid them. I usually pretend I didn't see them and continue on my way. If they say hi to me, I act happy to see them and say hi back or even talk with them if the situation permits. I remember a situation I had last semester for instance where I was waiting outside a room in the hallway for class to start. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, practically two inches in front of my face is my Calc II professor from my 2nd semester of my freshman year. I actually formed a good relationship with her because I was struggling in the course and I went to her office hours allot. I wasn't sure if she saw me but I basically had a mini panic as soon as she was in my field of vision. Another funny example: Before my first year of college, my mom and I were at Bed Bath and Beyond searching for room supplies. I then see a buddy of mine from high school. I basically wanted to avoid this guy like the plague because he was obsessed over the fact that I have perfect pitch. Literally every time we would see each other, he would sing a note and would ask me what it is. Thankfully, he never saw me and that was that but I was thanking the lord no encounter happened when we got home. Long story short: is anybody else like this or is it just me? |

Recently, we started hanging out with this new girl who everyone likes and stuff, but I have a problem with her. She opened up to me about a problem she was having (that no one else knows about), and I obviously listened and tried to help her as best I could. After that, the only time she will talk to me is to complain about something like her other friends or school work or something. I was going through an emotional time recently too, that she knew about, but she just continued to complain about all of the stuff that was going on, and I eventually had to let her know that I wasn't feeling up to helping her out today, to which she freaked out and got upset that I couldn't listen. I don't want to say that my problems are worse than hers, but I have dealt with some pretty serious things in the past, and she was just talking about how one of her other friends cancelled plans with her. She is pretty rude to everyone, which is fine if that is just her personality, but she just seems to not care for anyone but herself (for example how she reacted to my situation). Also, she is constantly flirting with my boyfriend and my sister's boyfriend. Obviously they aren't doing anything about it, but I just feel that it is really rude especially since I thought she was my friend since I was helping with her problems. I have talked to my bf about it, and he just says that it's how she is. I would obviously like to stop being friends with her, as I believe she is toxic, but everyone else likes her, so that is really not an option. She always complains to me that she has no friends (other than us), which is a bit upsetting to hear when I am making an effort, but I don't really care that much. I am assuming that she won't be around for the long haul because she acts this way, but any advice on how to approach this situation would be much appreciated. |

Posted: 16 Apr 2016 07:57 AM PDT So I stopped hanging out with a few friends from high school because they started getting sketchier and just involved in bad things. After high school they moved out of my town and I was pretty relieved they were gone, even though I haven't communicated with them, they didn't "take it" well when I cut them out of my life. Now 4 years later they're back in my town and one of my good friends now, saw them at a party recently and he said one of them was being really violent like slamming his head against a wall, and just really belligerent. I'm paranoid they may try and mess with me in some way. Like around the time after high school when I stopped seeing them they slashed my tires and vandalized my car, but I could never prove it was them. I also think they have guns. I don't know if I'm just being overly paranoid over nothing or if there's anything I could/ should do. |
