Her driving licence exam ha just been rejected and she just found out that her grandmother has cancer....I am really sorry because of that and I m trying to comfort her...getting closer, trying to talk...but whenever I get closer and start speaking her she pushes me away, and sometime in a really bad way...for example: this night I called her, and she answerd, but, she doesn t sounds happy hearing me, she sounds bored instead. I mean, if I d ever have any problem with my grandma ( hopefully not ), and my girlfriend would come close to me and asks if there is anything she could do to help me out...I would be so happy...she instead pushes me away and tells me to stop annoying her...I really don t know what do do...I am thinking of braking up...because this thing...this behaviour has started 1 week ago, and stills going on... There is a family holiday for a wedding coming up and my nephew is one of the only ones not coming, most couldn't but my nephew says "he didn't have the money at first" he lost his job and I told him to use his welfare money but he refused, he looked for a job, got one and saved money but he is now too late as bookings are finished, the holiday is in August 24th and the close of date was April 1st. He is annoyed because first the close off date was August 1st but it changed and now he feels he is going to miss out on a family holiday since this is a rare once in a life time thing, I volunteered to go on holiday with him, just me and him but he says he doesn't want people feeling sorry for him, he doesn't have any close friends and could never afford to go on holiday as a child but I think this is all his fault, if he just stayed on welfare and used that he could be going but he is too stubborn and proud and just had to use his "own" money. We live in the UK and the holiday is in Italy, the date changed because if the UK leaves the EU in June it could bump up the price and even if the UK stays it is impossible to change anything now. He is avoiding family gatherings, he never answers his phone, has blocked chat on his Facebook and whenever we run into him in person and try and organize a little party to show how sorry we feel he says no. Is this justified When he lost his job he had to pack up and move back in with his parents |

Those are check ups for his blood pressure and every 2 weeks he has an appointment for his stomach. Every six months he has an appointment to get his refills and every 3 weeks he goes to check his heart. It's been going on for 5 years now. I'm 25 now and I don't mind doing favors for my in laws but it's become a habit. While I was pregnant, I had to take them to the mall while I was already hurting. And my second child, I was vomiting to the point where I felt really weak and they still wanted me to take them out and drive them everywhere. I recently got a job and they don't want me to work mornings because then 'who will take my FIL' to the doctor? Today he just told me to take him here and there and then over to the insurance and then he has another appointment today. I'm really getting frustrated and I do want to tell them that I can't be available all the time because I too need to work but I'm scared of what there reactions might be... They're nice to me I can't deny that but it's just too much for me that sometimes I don't have time for my housework. |

They had set date for wedding for May 2017 when they got engaged. At the time of their engagement, he was/is taking college classes online, had a clean criminal record, and had been at his job for four plus years. He asked for my permission to marry my daughter and i gave it. Unfortunately daughters fiance has had two very bad things happen over the past few months which has caused me concern: 1) He was fired from his job of four years for giving unauthorized discounts and has pendling legal charges/plea deal where he has to pay 40k in restitution in order to have felony charge reduced to misdemeanor and have clean record. He did not personally gain from the discounts but he is responsible for the restitution. Job finding with felony charge is next to impossible. He is currently unemployed. They live together. 2) Daughters fiance s 54 y/o mother has just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, prognosis poor, cancer in seven different locations in her body, undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, this has been very devastating to daughters fiance. They want to move wedding up to august so his mother can attend. I want to be supportive but am struggling with giving support and $ to make this happen given her fiance s status with no job, legal issues, and his mom s terminal illness. What should I do? |
