We made up a couple years ago and then when I was bored I decided to randomly start ignoring her and be mad at her again. I love staring drama so that the attention is on me. H kept trying to contact me to hang out and I just kept ignoring her. She texted me on bday asking if we can get dinner and I agreed to meet up with her that following weekend. I decided since I was bored to start drama again and block her on fb. She eventually found out. I work at a pet store and her friend who I don't like comes in with her to buy stuff for their pets I told her she is not allowed to come in with her friend cuz i don't like him and i think that is considered bullying. Whenever we make plans and I stand her up she keeps texting me till I respond. She also vents to her friends who I have never met and it makes me look like a b#tch. How do I get her to stop bullying me? Screaming at her and ignoring her hasn't helped? |

Posted: 21 Apr 2016 04:58 PM PDT Okay, so this year my school's senior prom is on the same day as a concert I'm going to that is in my town. I don t have a boyfriend and neither does my friend, and since I know she s not really the prom type I asked her if she would go to the concert with me and she said yes. Exactly ONE MONTH ago today we bought our concert tickets which sealed the deal and we've been talking about it and planning ever since. Well today in 6th period this kid came in and asked her to prom, when it's TWO DAYS before prom, and she said yes, which she had to because he asked her in front of the entire freaking class and you don t just turn someone down when they have an audience!!!! I'm 99 percent sure neither of them have romantic feelings towards one another and are just friends, and he probably just asked because he didn't have anyone to go with, hence why he asked so late. When we made plans to go to the concert she straight up told me she liked the idea because it would give her an excuse to not go to prom, and she likes the band so it's not like she was just going to the concert to go. I think it's extremely rude to blow off long-term plans unless there is an emergency, especially when the person you're blowing off has no one to fall back on. So my question is this: Who do you think is in the wrong, me or her? And what should I do? Please don t suggest that I find another friend to go with, or that we go to another concert some other time, because neither of these will work. |

But sometimes I accidentally come off as rude. Today, my mom s friend came and somehow the topic of my best friend (and neighbor) came up. My mom s friend has some bad blood between her and my best friends mom. So then my mom s friend told me that my best friend seemed untrustworthy. I immediately get a tad bit offended at her assumption and try to vouch for my best friend. In the end the way I said it came off as really rude. After she left, I felt really guilty. I hate being rude to anyone and when I do, I just focus on that for the whole day! I can t help but let the guilt consume me. |

I guess she was making him feel a little uncomfortable because she was constantly trying to sit in his lap and she was hitting him. So technically it was a nose job. When I got it done you could not even notice in the slightest. It was completely subtle. She asked me to look for a cheap motel for her cause she is low in money and also because she went over data so she cant. And she cannot stay at my house my mom won't allow it because she always makes messes and never helps clean and she has me pay for all her food and she is very rude. I tried calling her about where in town she wants me to find this hotel instead she text me saying her phone is on silence and she said "what the hell do you want". If she gets kicked out of my friends house that's it she has no where else to go. She is 22 acting like she is 5. What should I do? I love her to bits but she always talks about the weirdest stuff that's way beyond weird. Her parents are the way over protective type that try and shelter their children from all the dangers of the world. She was even home schooled until 6th grade with basically no outside social contact along with her sister who is two years older. Anywho, we share all the same classes and we're arranged by last name and our last names are similar so I'm always behind or beside her. During class she'll turn and look at me and says "Hey, imagine this..." Then she'll go on to describe some horrific way of murdering the teacher or some other classmate that she doesn't like. She basically worships this anime character named Yuno. She also does a lot more "Picture this." Kind of stuff, she loves anything with blood and gore. Over the past two years of knowing her (we're in 8th grade), it has gotten worse. The scenes she describes are getting more detailed and gross and now it''s all she talks about. She can not stop talking about it! She has begun swearing in front of teachers while asking a question in class, ex."Hey, why the f*ck does blah blah blah" You get my point now? But anyway, she also has a thing about people touching her. She will freak out if you touch her, saying like how you tainted her pure soul and her pure body. She even has to leave class and go to the bathroom. It's almost like she's possessed. There are still times when she is a normal person... ... and she does normal things and doesn't talk about blood and gore and doesn't cuss every two seconds and actually shows some sort of human affection. Also, about the touching thing... I know she wasn't 'physically' assaulted because she doesn't have any family besides her mom and dad, and the fact that I asked her about it and she says that her parents are the type of 'hands off' parents where they don't touch their kids and since she was home schooled it was awkward for her. I don't know how to feel about that. It's frustrating waiting around then she does the same thing again. She's told me she has anxiety and depression issues, etc. And that sometimes even with people she likes she feels unmotivated to talk. Which I can completely understand, I give her enough space. But I still feel like she puts in almost no effort whatsoever. Some time ago I told her we should talk on the phone (we can't see each other face to face atm) and she agrees but then she says she can't at the last minute or doesn't respond to me, it's happened about 3 times. Then she doesn't bother to bring it up again. I'm usually the one that initiates contact, I feel that if I don't I'd never hear from her again. It's confusing because she's told me I'm one of the few people she trusts and a good friend but she sure doesn't treat me like such. And a lot of times she's active on social media while still haven't answered me. I feel like she's downgraded me. Should I confront her kindly about it? How? I want to tell her how I feel but I don't know if it'll be an unnecessary confrontation/awkward or how she'll take it. It might be really unexpected. Also I don't spam her with messages at all or anything and as far as I know I haven't said anything wrong. Any help is appreciated |

When I got it done you could not even notice in the slightest. It was completely subtle. Well I made the mistake of telling my friends and my friend Jackie who I know told people or whatever. The other day I was having a conversation with Jackie and she was telling me that her best friend is getting cosmetic surgery I then said to her, "Ya know Jackie..... please dont ever tell anybody about mine", in which she responded sarcastically, "Everybody already knows about that........" I then said, "No they don't and I don't want you saying anything to anyone," In which she responded, "Um Yes they do which is why people come up to me and ask me". Then when I asked her who she wouldn't say. Don't you think she sounds like an absolute bit*ch? |

So here's round two: She's a friend of my boyfriend, but me and her hit it off and became friends. We talked and I considered her as a close friend...until around a month ago. One day, about a month or so ago, my other friend tells me on Facebook (gently) that my "friend" thinks I'm aggravating and she actually blocked me from messaging her on there. The previous day, she stopped messaging in the middle of our conservation, and I repeatedly messaged her out of concern. She's also apprently going through depression, which I always asked if she was okay. And to make me feel even more upset, my boyfriend is still talking to her, while I just stay away from her (we talked only once since the incident, and it was for her to give my boyfriend a note I wrote for him, and I didn't talk to her for a full minute). Any advice? Thank you! |
| Question: My friend is really annoying? Posted: 21 Apr 2016 11:31 AM PDT So today, me and 2 of my friends were hanging out. I had some money so I said I was gonna buy cigarettes. We asked our friend to go get them really quickly at the store, and she kept telling him "buy the cheap ones" I said no, I told him which ones to buy. Then she took my remaining money to buy weed from some guy, like she didn't even ask, she just assumed that just because she didn't have enough money and I had some, that she could use it. I don't even smoke weed so it's not like I was gonna get any of it. Then, she kept trying to drive my car. I told her no, because she only has her permit and it's MY car. I let her drive it before but just small drives, and when I didn't let her drive she started complaining. Today was a really annoying day, I was really expecting it to be fun but she just ruined it. On top of that- we're going to the same college and agreed we would get an apartment together. I don't think I could deal with this everyday. I've known here for 4 years but I'm just know seeing her bad side. How can I stop being her friend without out right just saying "I don't want to be your friend"? I don't wanna deal with this, one terrible day with her is enough for me. |

| Question: People laugh at me because I'm awkward. Need advice? Posted: 21 Apr 2016 11:20 AM PDT I have social anxiety and I've always been very shy and quiet. I just naturally have a quiet voice and sometimes I don't even realize how quietly I'm talking until I'm asked to repeat what I said. In school whenever I have to be in a group for a project, if I try talking I always get laughed at, and I know it's because they're not used to hearing me talk because I'm the quiet kid and my voice is so quiet and it makes things awkward, so I just try not to talk unless I get asked a question. I usually just wait for the other kids to tell me what to do. Even at lunch, whenever I try and contribute to the conversation, my friends will always look at each other and laugh. I'm tired of this. I try and speak louder, but then I end up pronouncing a word wrong or stuttering because of my anxiety and I just get laughed at even more. I don't know what to do. I feel like I will never have a normal life because of this. I can't carry a conversation without feeling like I'm a freak or something. I feel like everyone else is normal and leads a good life and I'm inferior to them. I feel like I will never have a solid group of friends or a boyfriend because everyone just sees me as the weird fat quiet girl. Even friends and family make fun of me because I'm quiet. I'm always the butt of the joke. |

I want to be a mathematician. Christian I have a korean classmate who wants to study pharmacology and I've told him about my tourettes. He also claims to be a christian and sings worship songs which seemingly much passion... He's in our math time and so do I, but he calculates stuff faster than I do therefore HE THINKS HE IS BETTER AT MATH THAN I DO!?? I talked with him about a number theory class and he said he had no idea what number theory is.. (HAHA claims to love maths) and either should I because I score less for our team than he does. (In the competition he was all speaking Korean with another teamate.. I had no idea what to do because i felt like i was isolated) And he says he would suggest kicking me out of the team.. (I compete in the team for a much longer time than he does) He also makes fun of my tics which I cannot control whatsoever coz it's genetic. He also tells others that I'm not a christian and such and such. (I'm like the only one who tries to logically debate other arguments and argue for christianity in our grade..I even wrote several papers about this). I'm usually not a hateful person but this is just way too annoying. He makes fun of my tics caused by a genetic disease, lies about my faith and makes fun of my interest. How dare he still pretend to be sophisticated? Should I do something towards this or tell the teacher?? |
| Question: Is it OK for a woman to date a much younger man? Posted: 21 Apr 2016 10:44 AM PDT I got a note from my daughter's high school that she was failing in math and they recommended a tutor. I knew a family friend Bob who could tutor her and I hoped he would be cheaper than the tutors the school gave me. I called Bob, a 26 year old single guy and asked for his help. He said he would be happy to tutor my daughter for FREE and he did. My daughter raised her grade for F to A in math. Since Bob would not take any money for his tutoring (he said he did not charge friends for his help) my daughter and I decided to take him to an expensive restaurant for a meal as a way to say thank you. We had a great meal, great conversation and a lot of fun at the restaurant. Jokingly my daughter asked Bob if he had ever been on a date with 2 women at once. Bob said you mean 2 BEAUTIFUL women at once. We all had a good laugh. My friends that I told about this said I should not have been on a date with a guy 10 years younger than I am. It made me look like a cougar. I tried to point out to them that if it was a date why did I take my daughter with me. They said it was still a date and I was acting like a cougar. I told my friends there is noting wrong with a woman going on a date with a much younger guy. They are not buying it. Please tell me what you think. Is it OK for a woman to date a much younger guy? And was Bob hitting on me, my daughter, or both of us? |

So we roomed together in the fall and she started to act strange, after me and my suite mate became closer friends. She blocked my number, she would stare at me from a far, (in the cafeteria) and I felt like she was trying to compete with me when it came to guys. I know it sounds petty but when your friend is telling you about the guy you like how he was flirting with her it was hurtful. So I confronted her about her issues and she got mad at me. She made it seem like I'm overreacting and she's been trying to be a great friend? Little did I know she told the RA on me, and the dean and a bunch of the girls in the freshman class. She made it seem like me and our suite mate was jealous of her, when I wasn't. I'm just really hurt that things could go this far. I ended up leaving the school and while I was leaving she was in the lobby deliberately watching me move my stuff. What do you think is her problem, I can't figure it out. Btw when she was watching move my stuff she lived in another dorm room, not with me |
| Posted: 21 Apr 2016 10:25 AM PDT We are both in college. We also both agreed to do our best to go on jogs or walks when we can. So we were both at healthish weights me at 140 her at 155. Then she got a bf and they soon got serious. She told me that he said he liked curvier women and so she had decided to cut back on our jogs and said it would be nice not watching her weight. I didn't really think much of it and let it be.. She soon put on weight and only walked with me on occasion. I didn't say anything as she was happy. Layer in the year though she hit 200 and talked with me and told me she didn't really want to go on walks or jogs anymore. By now I was kind of worried wondering if she was planning on stopping anytime. I told her I was Happy for her but told her if she kept this up it would certainly interfere with her health. She said it's been nice not having to watch her weight and that she feels more Beatiful bigger. I couldn't convince her. She's been continuing to gain weight and Whenever we hang out now it's only over lunch or dinner or at one of our apartments with plenty if pizza. She weighs close to 260lbs right now. She says she's happy but she's so big. She's really jiggly and gets out of breath easy. She has to waddle almost cause alot of the weight went to her thighs hips and belly. Idk how to help her or just to leave her be because she's happy. Her and her bf had a goal of 300 set for her last I heard and they celebrate with cake and ice cream every 20lbs she gains... |
