I'm 15 years old, 5'6, and 115lbs. I'm positive that's in the normal bmi range. I don't like how I look so I don't really talk about my looks. Just because I don't call myself ugly she assumed I think I'm prettier than everyone. I've dated 2 guys and I've been confessed to 4 times. When She said "you get all the guys" I said "Nahh only a few actually liked me" she said I think every guy has a crush on me. I know I have a decent amount of friends, I talk to everyone around me in school. But again, I apparently think everyone loves me. Everytime I answer positively to her questions about like friends, looks, or guys she get mad and thinks I'm conceited. I know she struggles with insecurities and I don't do that to her, I constantly tell her how beautiful or pretty she is, When she says shes fat I literally type out a whole paragraph describing how great her body looks. I don't really know how to react to our fight this time. I stayed quiet as she yelled, should I apologize? |

Has no home, no car and begs for rides to work. A few months ago, we allowed him to live with us. (Honestly, my bf was against it from the start.) We only charged $40 a week. He is an alcoholic with a failing liver and he refuses to stop drinking. He had no house training. Wouldn't flush the toilet, **** on our couch, never cleaned up behind himself, we even did his laundry. We had to drive him everywhere. We just have hearts too big for our chests. Today, however, we woke up missing money. He claimed up and down he didn't take it. But there is no other excuse. Our cat sure in the hell didn't take it. So we kicked him out then and there. He then began threatening us, telling us he had no where to go and saying he'd shoot us and rob us. LOL. BUT, i still feel HORRIBLE. We both do... just give us advice to get through this... Well lately I've been pretty much ignoring him. But he still blows up my phone with texts and calls all day. He also gets mad when I hangout with anyone else. I am really upset about it, because he was really my only good friend. Him and his sister, who I kind of like, but never told her. That is a problem in itself, but it has another aspect. Recently I befriended this girl. She is very socially awkward and is obsessed with guys. And me. She really had no other friends, so I have been letting her sit at our table at lunch. Now that my friend is leaving, I don't know what I am going to do- it is going to be so awkward! I would really rather sit by myself and work on homework next year, but I have a feeling that she is going to bother me all next year, and has declared herself my "best friend." I just don't feel that I am going to be ready to socialize so soon. How can I explain to her that I need some alone time next year without hurting her feelings? I would not really call her my friend, I simply told her to come to me at lunch if she was experiencing bullying. She did and my best friend (being as nice as he is) invited her to sit with us. I didn't have a problem with it, but I did not know it was going to be permanent. This NEVER used to happen before-we even joked about how we could never NOT get along and we never even had one fight. I have a hard time listening to her talk about her life everyday and I've started to enjoy time spent together less. I only have one roommate and she leaves most weekends to visit other people. When she is here i feel like shed prefer talking to other people over me. Im in college and i don't have many friends around campus. I often feel like everyone hates me. I mostly sit in my room alone or in the library alone wishing i could be around more people. It hurts that I see so many people around campus in friend groups or in couples and I'm alone. I also feel like everyone is coupling up and i just want a boyfriend but that no boy would ever want me. My "friends" (only 3 girls) do things without me all the time and don't think to invite me. I was one of the most outgoing, friendly people when i started college. I have no trouble making friends, but i just feel so lonely lately and everyone is already in cliques considering its senior year and hard to make new friends. I don't know what to do about this anymore its really bringing me down. |

I told her how I really want to go to Montreal and I said you can come if you want but I said I can pay the way there and accommodation because the bus up there isn't much and the apartment I want to went would be the same if I was going alone anyway. First off, I'd like to mention that I'm not really the kind of person who would just share my feelings out just like that, just some silly thoughts and such. Sometimes when I'm talking to random people (cos that's how to make friends, I do believe) they just either act friendly or ignore me altogether. I'd proudly say that family is better than friends. So much. In the end, that failed to be the idea. I cannot go to my 'friends' to discuss my thoughts. See, in my school, it's filled with people who would prefer to go to their cliques and ignore 'lame' or 'weird' people. They spread weird rumors about you whether you know it or not. It was that kind of school that would have conflict within itself and others couldn't care any less about you. You could say I was one of the lame ones, but that part doesn't really matter much. I just wanted someone to talk to. Someone I could trust with my thoughts. Unfortunately, that's not how people worked. They just want to exploit how you feel to other people and make fun of you behind your back, especially if you were a chump like who who thought you'd take a chance and think that they accepted you. Generally, best friends are who you want to talk to, however, I have none of that since majority of them have since graduated already. The one I want to go for to emotional help, the ones I should and want to trust needs to, NEEDS to be family. Or so I thought. When my family can't and will not accept nor listen to my thoughts, are they really someone to turn to? What do I do? I'm getting really depressed about it. My sister exploits my embarrassing events to people I don't even know and spreading weird rumors about me and my mother won't listen to me when I complain about her. When I tell my sister to stop doing whatever she's doing that relates to me, she just brushes it off, ignores me or says something like "Gave you a taste of your own medicine" I'm seriously mad and sad about this. Let's call my best friend H and the other two people J and P. The first thing I'm jealous about is J and P's friendship. H and I are best friends but we don't really act like it. They've been going around their school telling people about me and my girlfriend's private business, making up stories about her and I and the same sort of thing about our friends as well. My friends and I have all blocked them on Facebook, but a few of them now go to my school and are in the same class as my good friend's and I have a paranoid feeling they'd start **** about me and my girlfriend (my school friend's know my girlfriend as well). I've noticed that my extremely beautiful friend is generally treated better than me( i don't want to sound depressed which i'm not but i'm not pretty at all and i'm obesed and i'm working on it so don't worry) anyways, she's always the centre of attention without having to do anything . People keep asking her and never me , also when we meet they never greet me but greet her and then i feel like if i don't greet them they'll forget all about me . I'm fairly active in conversations and i'm funny and i always balance between talking about me and talking about the other person i'm talking to . Posted: 11 Nov 2015 01:44 PM PST She doesn't let me go to my friends house(she's a girl), she doesn't let me sleepover whether its a friends sleepover party and everyone else goes, or at my cousins house because I don't see them a lot. I can't walk home when I'm supposed to be a walker because I live so close. I can't talk to boys( that are my friends) even if its just "hi" when he walks past and waves. I can't go to friend birthday parties, I can't text friends that are boys. I can't go to girl scout summer camp. I get that my mom and dad want to protect me but why can't I stay at my cousins house? She's a girl too. My friends mom let's her go to all her friends house and she got to go to my best friends house when she moved away, I don't see her anymore. I get my I can't talk to boys but I'm older now and I'm a good kid compared to my siblings. I always have straight A's, never had bad behavior, always obey, whereas my brothers, get to go everywhere, they misbehave in school, not trying to be mean but their grades are not good. If I had a daughter I would want to protect her from betting raped and all that stuff too. But whenever I ask my mom why she says no, she says "because girls are not supposed to sleepover." Her brother was killed in a drive by two years back, her older sister just had a baby and she feels that her mom and family members give the baby more love and attention than her. And the boy she had a crush on, rejected her saying that he already likes someone else. She now comes to school either crying hysterically or with a rotten attitude and tells everyone to leave her alone, even though we're (me and her friends) are trying to be nice. She told me a few days ago to f**k off, she called two other friends b****es, called my sister a dumb c**t and screamed for everyone to go away. Now today, me and my friends told her we won't put up with her rotten attitude anymore. She just started crying and called us stupid b****es and left. Now I hear online that she got into a fight with a girl who called her an ugly fish. I just wanted to ignore it, but I was walking to the store, and I saw her crying behind a tree in the park. She's very into her looks and posts selfies every day so that she can receive the attention from perverted men. She also lets men talk to her very...demeaningly online. At the beginning of our friendship, I used to tell these men off but then I realized that she never blocks them and I wonder if she likes the negative attention. How do I tell her to...mature up! I used to do these things in early high school! We are 22 now and no longer need to need that kind of attention. I don't want to lose her as a friend but the way she acts almost disgusts me. :( Help! |

But my best friend thinks it would be okay. Here s the background: After coming home from vacation I went to my friends birthday party, we ll call her "A". At that party there was only one person there I didn t know, A s best friend "E". After introducing myself we hit it off and spent the whole night talking; just the two of us accidentally ingnoring the others. After the party ended my friends encouraged me to take E on a few dates and we had a lot of fun. Problem is she goes to another school and we only saw each other on weekends but chatted on the phone a lot. After a month we just slowly began to talk less and have lost contact. Its been about 3weeks since I ve talked or seen her. I see A everyday and we re good friends and I like her a lot but I feel like she may say no to going to formal because of E or even may get upset which could ruin our friendship. I just need an outside opinion. |

I want to take my two friends and my sister would have to go as well. If I took only one friend it wouldn't be fair, so I have to take both. It's an hour away but that's really the only place I want to go! The only way it would work is if my mom drove us there. She can't afford to pay for my two friends, so they would have to pay the $30 themselves. I told my mom that it's not really customary to do that, that the host is usually supposed to pay, but she insists she cannot afford it. What should I do? Should I make my friends pay to go? Last Saturday I spent the night at my 2 friends house who I trusted more than anyone at the school besides my brother. So this girl (my friend) gave a ******* to this senior (my brothers friend), I know it was true because my brother is his best friend and my brother told my cousin that his friend told him that, and my cousin told me everything, it definitely was true because my cousin has never lied and neither has my brother. So I told my friends what happened and where I had heard it from and told them specifically "Do not tell anyone about please." And I repeated it numerous times. So I show up to Monday at school and everything is fine and I hang out with my two friends and even talk to my brothers friend and my friend (that gave the *******). But on Tuesday I show up and my two friends are at school as well as the senior but my other friend was not . So at he end of the day she text me and told me that I had been starting rumors about her and the senior and about the ******* and that it had spread at the school and everyone said it came from me and one of my two friends (the only people I told) was telling everyone that I had started it. I know it was ****** up to tell anyone but I didn't want to start a rumor, I was telling them the truth then they went out and made everyone hate me. Now nobody will talk to me...what do I do? |

Posted: 11 Nov 2015 11:15 AM PST I don't really know how to put the title, as it's really complicated and confusing, to me anyway. Long story short... there was a group of four of us, everyone thought we were the tightest happiest friendship group ever - until the other three, for some reason, over the half term decided they randomly hate me. I don't even have the slightest clue what I've done, no argument or anything took place. They talk behind my back constantly, (even when I was friends with them) tried to hack into my Facebook ( the IP blocker thing stopped them.. thank god!) but now they're straight up ignoring me and refuse to talk to me, of course only when it's me and one of them alone in a lesson and they have no one else, obviously I just ignore them. Here's the thing: I don't want to ever become friends with them again. It's like I've been awakened; I've realised they're dickheads, and I hated them all along but enjoyed their sense of humour. They've done this before to others, but now it's me I realised how shitty and horrible it is. Anyway. I'm constantly alone now, I don't really get along with anyone else since our school is small and we're in year 11. It's also embarrassing because everyone's talking about it. I'm constantly dreading breaks and lunchtimes... please help. We've never really had mutual friends since we've always gone to different schools but we have been neighbors and best friends for 9 years in march. So lately she's gotten a new group of friends that she's hanging out with all the time. She also has a boyfriend in the group. She parities with them almost every weekend and sees them almost everyday. I go to my dad's house every other weekend and I'm very busy during the week due to school. We never really see each other because when I am home she's often with her other friends. I'm scared I'm going to lose one of the most important people in my life because I can't party with her. We used to hang out at least every weekend and now i haven't seen her for more than 1 hour in almost 1.5 months. I feel like she doesn't realize how little we see anymore and how much it hurts me that she's blowing me off to be with them. I don't know what to do anymore, I'm so scared and i cry almost everyday because of this. |

My entire life I went to public school, and I had the exact same group of friends the whole time. But starting this year, I got homeschooled. My mom signed me up for this theatre class in my city that's specifically just for homeschoolers (because the classes are in the middle of the day). I didn't really want to go at the beginning, but since then I've made a TON of new friends. The problem is, for some reason my friends hate them, even though they've never met them. Every time I mention them they're like 'ugh' or 'them'. There was even one time where I was talking about a performance we just did and I mentioned that one of my friends went on barefoot, and someone else in the group chat was like 'why?' and someone else was like 'BECAUSE SHE HATES HUMAN GERMS IN HER FANCY SHOES UGH I HATE HER.' They've never met any of my friends. I'm starting to hang out with my new friends more because I'm afraid my old friends will start talking about them again. Some of my old friends have even started calling my new friends 'the devil'. It's really making me mad. I almost want to just tell them I don't want to talk to them anymore, and hang out with my new friends forever, just to teach my old friends a lesson. I think they're just jealous that I'm mature enough to make new friends instead of just sticking with the same group of friends for my entire life. The average friendship is only supposed to last 4 years, yet they still don't understand that (continued in updates) There's such a thing as making new friends. Tips? |

I've stood by her this whole time and defended her against all the harsh bullies, however, there is this one guy in particular that has a special dislike for her. I don't even know why. He keeps on verbally abusing her and even physically hurting her sometimes. He's one of the cool, popular guys in our school, so maybe he thinks it's cool to make fun of a vulnerable, fragile girl like my friend. But this time he went too far. Last night, my friend called me up in tears saying he raped her, and recorded it too so he can show people he "screwed the fat girl." I don't know what to do. Should I report him? I really, really don't want to get involved though... |
